App Designs for your Blog are Now Available

Yes, it is finally available. I am now offering App Design Services for blogs

Why should I have an app for my blog?
That’s pretty simple to answer. To drive more traffic to your site. You want to be able to get your blog in front of as many people as you can and you want to make it as accessible in any way possible. With apps, people will be able to see live updates to your posts where ever they go, wherever they are.

How do I start?
You will first need to setup an account with Condiut Mobile. I am not a “Developer” only a designer and Conduit Mobile will develop the app for you. They have a free account and some paid services.

What do you do?
I will help create the design and look of your app. From colors to layout, app icons, splash screens, provide screenshots, and help upload your app to Apple if you need the assistance. See my fees below for futher details.

What else will I need to do?
After the app has been designed, developed, and packaged. You will then need to create accounts with Apple, Windows, and Google Play (previously known as Android). You do not have to create accounts with all of them if you don’t want to. After you create the accounts then you will need to upload your app package that you receive from Conduit Mobile. Conduit Mobile has step by step tutorials on how to do this.

You did not design my blog. Can I still have you design my app?
Yes, the only thing is that I cannot use any of your blog’s design unless I have a written consent from your designer allowing me permission to use those images to create your app icons. Once I have the designers consent you or the designer will need to provide me with those images to create your icons.

When can you start on my app?
Please view my sidebar under the “Welcome” message to see when my next availability is.

How much will this cost me?
I have different services and you can choose some of them or all. It’s up to you (see below). Keep in mind that in order for you to upload your app to Apple or Windows they each have a registration fee of $100. Google Play (Android) has a registration fee of $25.

My fees are:

Assistance with Creating your App on Conduit Mobile $40
App Icons – $30 for the first one and $15 for each additional
Screenshots $15 each (using my iPad)
Splash Screens $15 each
Upload Package to Apple $25 – you must have a Mac Computer to upload your app package to the Apple Store. If you do not have a Mac then I can do this for you.

New WordPress Theme with a Pop of Color

So far I have only made 3 WordPress Premades but this one is my favorite by far. This theme is called Color Burst because of the white background and the Pop of Color.

Once this theme is installed on your blog you can choose between 6 different layout options.

You must have a self-hosted WordPress blog using the Genesis Framework to use this template. Meaning that your blog was setup on WordPress.org with your own hosting service provider. If you are interested in setting up your own WordPress site here is a simple tutorial for you to use.

I designed 3 different color layouts for you to choose from (click on the images to see a larger picture).

How to install these themes:
1. After your purchase is made you will receive a downloadable link. Click on this link and save the zip file folder to your computer.
2. Log into your blog and click on “Appearance” then “Themes”.
3. Click on “Install Themes” then “Upload”. Choose your premade file you saved to the computer then click on “Install Now”.
4. Once it’s installed successfully click on “Activate”.

New WordPress Themes for only $25

Hi all! I’ve been working on some new premades for WordPress. I have several with characters and a 3 more that are chic and simple.

These WordPress premade themes can only be installed on a self-hosted WordPress blog and that are using the Genesis Framework. Here is a quick simple tutorial on how to setup a self-hosted WordPress blog and install the Genesis Framework.
