First up was at the
Curve, with the theme Tales of Christmas
Magic.&amp;nbsp; The centre court was nicely
decorated with giant books, where they open up for performers to tell the story
of Aria, the songstress, whose singing could awaken the creatures of Christmas
Storyland to life.

A trip to Kluang
will not be complete without a visit to the original Kluang Rail Coffee.&amp;nbsp; We visited the old coffee shop (a coffee
stall is more like it J) at the Kluang Railway
Stattion for breakfast before leaving Kluang.&amp;nbsp;
It was packed even on a late morning on Monday.&amp;nbsp; We waited a while before seats were available

breakfast places in Kluang (saving Kluang Rail Coffee for the last day) and saw
that Botak Curry Mee is highly recommended so we made our way to the Kampung
Paya shop (run by Botak’s son) to find it closed.&amp;nbsp; We detoured to try our luck at Botak’s
daughter’s stall at Mengkibol River Hawker Centre and was glad to find it

from the hotel and having a bak ku teh breakfast, we started our 2.5 hours
drive to the Kahang Organic Rice Eco Farm (KOREF).&amp;nbsp; We reached KOREF at about 12.30pm, and signed

We spent a couple of
days bercuti-cuti Johor for the family year-end holidays.&amp;nbsp; First stop – Legoland.&amp;nbsp; Our first trip to Legoland was in early 2013,
and the water park was still work-in-progress at that time.&amp;nbsp; So this round, we bought the 2-day combo
parks ticket for both the theme park and water park.&amp;nbsp; Prices for Legoland have increased a fair

the organizing committee for the Lions Charity Balloon Run 2015.&amp;nbsp; Since there was a 4km family category, I decided
to take part in the run with the girls and their 大姨姨.&amp;nbsp; It was
the girls first run and while they needed some help halfway through the run,
they made it to the finish line J

The year-end party
(and Yan Yan’s last at TJC…sob sob) was held on the last day of school.&amp;nbsp; The theme, as per the year-end concert, was
Fairy Tales, so most children were dressed in their garbs from the concert, except
Yan Yan and her classmates since they performed the lantern dance.





With some of her classmates...most will be going separate ways after this :-(

This year, we
enrolled Yan Yan into the ASP (After School Program).&amp;nbsp; The week after her graduation concert, the
kindy organized its annual ASP concert.



It was a simple
affair with marching in of the students, national anthem, followed by a short
speech by the principal.&amp;nbsp; The six-year
old students then went on stage to receive their graduation scroll before the
performances began.

which added a festive touch to the dinner.

We had to leave the
resort by 10am the day of departure from Lang Tengah but our flight isn’t until
evening so we signed up for a city tour of Kuala Terengganu.&amp;nbsp; Our first stop was the Chinatown where seven
back lanes have been given a makeover and each has its own unique theme.

Lang Tengah was 14-15 years ago and I remember having such a fantastic time

Yiu Yiu participated
in her school sports day in May.&amp;nbsp; She’s
in the red house this year and was part of the red house students who
participated in the march past.&amp;nbsp; Interestingly
this year, each house was asked to have some costumes for the march past and
Yiu Yiu was given a set of butterfly head band, wand and wings while some of
the boys were dressed in Superman boxes…haha.

this place until my colleague asked if Yan Yan could be one of her flower girls
for her wedding.&amp;nbsp; Of course I said yes,
just for the fun of it, and to be part of the joyous occasion.



This colleague of
mine is just super awesome – she DIYed everything, from the wedding invitation
cards, floral arrangements, down to every little details of the party.

annual outing this year was to the KL Bird Park, the same place that her jiejie visited six years ago.&amp;nbsp; As I had gone

AO Show one of the nights, we headed to Huong Lai Vietnamese Restaurant for

What attracted me to this restaurant was the fact that the service staff
