Everyone has the dream of acting and this could be your chance because the "My Big Movie Break" can make your dream into a reality. But how would that be possible if one has little to no experience at all? And not to mention the people who was also aspiring a career that you want to? The question that comes to mind is How To Become An Actor or an actress? I guess at some point, those hopeful people take every shot whenever there are some chances to qualify on auditions or screenings, however, it would also mean discouragement to those who cannot make it on top. It is the reason that nowadays, all wannabe’s are choosing their best foot forward into a reliable people who can train them properly. This would make their starting point in the career that they have chosen. But first, making choice will be the primary steps before signing up to fill the spot.

It’s good to know that now, group of people are helping those aspiring men and women fulfill a dream come true. My Big Movie Break can be the start of a challenging life behind the camera and be one the Hollywood’s best actor/actress someday. Everyone can actually join in and compete in the movie field. As we can see, becoming an actor or an actress is no simple task. Improving the acting ability from time to time could lead to a successful life ahead, which is why getting there needs someone to fulfill it.

On the other hand, My Big Movie Break does not only offer screening for actors and actresses. They also fill in spots for screenwriters, producers, directors and many more. Applying for such position can make you also a STAR on your own movie in the future. Yes, becoming a STAR is not just for actors and actresses; it is also to those who make up the movie as a whole.

3 days District Convention

We recently enjoyed our 3 days District Convention; it is a spiritual feast that happens ones a year for Jehovah’s Witnesses. It was indeed a successful event. I personally am so thankful and overjoyed to receive such a wonderful divine instruction. I am so blessed to be in this organization. We all need to feed ourselves with spiritual food that will help refresh our mind, body and soul. Of course we all need to apply what we have learned and meditate on those words to become a good individual. Anyways, here are my children. Those outfits they were wearing were given to them by some of our friends in our congregations. They adored them and because they find our children nice and encouraging to some other kids in our congregation, they like to give them anything including clothes. Well, those were outgrown clothes from their kids and I am pleased to accept any freebies that were heartily given to us and besides free stuff are always the best. I’m not picky also, so it works well for us. Except for the yellow dress that my daughter wore, I bought it at JCP, it was on sale and so I didn’t hesitate to purchase it.

Being a cell phone fanatic is not that easy. I bet you agree with me when it comes to phone every time these people spotted the latest piece, they won’t stop until they can get a hold on it, right? Today, having one of those android Superphone like Samsung Galaxy, either it is froyo or a gingerbread build version could mean anything to them. Lots of people use to replace phones from time to time but not actually satisfied because they always want to be the first user for the most recent released unit. That is the reason why being it is not that easy.

This morning, while reading some ads on the newspaper, I notice some job offerings. It’s not that I want to apply on a new profession but then, I was just curious since this well-know Pizza Hut food chain are hiring lots of personnel at this time. I wanted to get some information’s because maybe there would be someone I know that will be interested to fill-out their pizza hut application form and pass a resume. In that way, I could help those job hopefuls obtain a good position such as one of their team member, could be one of their driver or even a Manager as well. In that manner, I could help in my simple way.

I always take my camera with me wherever we go. I have to make sure I have some photos of my children, capturing those moments where I can show it to them as they grow older. I also love watching old photos of us and it reminds me of how much time went by so quickly. It almost felt like they were just born yesterday and before I know it they had already grown up and trying to become an independent individual. Sometimes I missed them being small babies but those were good old days. I have to look forward to their future, I hope and pray that they will both make wise decisions in life and be in a good path. I pray so hard that they won’t become troubled teenagers. That’s what scares me the most; well I guess majority of the parent’s biggest fear is to have troubled young adults.

I love reading but nowadays I haven’t put much thought of grabbing a book and actually find time for it. With my busy schedule like taking care of the kids, my online job and lots of other duties and responsibilities, flipping through pages will be on the bottom of my list. But as I was randomly browsing, I stumbled upon www.all-free-samples.com, it’s basically a website that gives out lots of different freebies from beauty products, apparel, food, free online games from FreeCatcher.com, free movie passes, and of course books! I would love to grab one, particularly the Sherlock Holmes paperback novel. To be honest, I don’t know if I can actually finish reading an entire story but since it’s free, I’ll definitely raise my hands high enough to bring home the bacon. LOL! Anyway, if ever you wonder what other goodies up for grabs, just visit the page and surely you will find something interesting for you. Passes to the movie, Beast of the Southern Wild is something I like also. If I can’t spend a weekend reading a book at least I can watch a movie for a couple of hours. Isn’t it a bad idea? Going to the gym, body building, or simply because you want to be fit, there are those diet supplements that can indeed be of help. I remember back in the good old days when I was still in the Philippines, we were young then and some of my cousins enrolled in a fitness gym to gain some muscles. They were still so skinny, young men and whenever they read an ad that goes something like, 'testosterone pills here' they can’t help but get curious. I have two other siblings and I can’t wait to meet their offspring soon. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece. I will be seeing them sometime next year 2013. I will spend 3 weeks vacation in the Philippines and I will take my children with me that way cousins will finally meet each other. Though they see each other online quite often, they are still excited to see and play together pretty soon. I am really looking forward to this vacation; this will be my second time of visiting my family in the Philippines since I reside here in America. I miss my family and my relatives as well. I can’t wait to see them all. Happy PBC to all.

I just love my online work now; I’ve been so blessed that I can grin all day. Seriously, the things to be done are just so many; often times I need another hand to help me. But I learned that the helping hands of my partners are also very much busy nowadays. They got hired by another online job, it has something to do with placing online campaigns, live answering service, some sort of virtual assistant set-up. The good thing is they’ve got flexible schedules so we can still work together. It’s kind of like joggling together so things would only get better. Anyway, busy days are ahead of everybody, we can only be grateful for all the blessings. Keep it coming….

In hunt for a gift

A couple of weeks ago my nieces went out of town to attend a wedding of their close friend. It was also time for them to chill out and relax after being so busy with work. I have seen their pictures and all I can say is that they had a blast! We really haven't talk much about their getaway but one of the highlights was when they were confused on what wedding gift to give. So off they went to the mall and hunt for something nice, useful, practical, and of course something that the bride and groom would love. They headed on to the household section and were confused with the so many options of silverware and utensils.

They didn't like it though for it seem to be the common. Then they went straight ahead to the decorative section, where the interior decors are and got even more confused for everything was nice. They said they were choosing between very pretty decorative lights, some sort of fluorescent lighting that has very pretty oriental design or an electric fan that has no fan, literally. Accordingly, it was a weird-looking hollow fan; it was so cute and innovative. After tiring, 3 hours, they ended up getting another item, something that made the newly-weds really happy. Sometimes, it’s really confusing, wondering what gift to give, isn’t it?

I had my feet, arms, and back rubbed a few days ago. I grew up with massages, my mom used to always give us/me a massage especially when I’m sick. Now that I’m thousands of miles away from my mother, I go to the spa parlor to get my massage done because that’s the only way I feel recharged and back to my old-self. My husband and the kids were waiting for me in the mall’s indoor playground while I’m being pampered by the masseuse. It felt really good afterwards. It was indeed soothing and restful. Reminiscing our LA getaway

This morning while I was preparing my son for our Christian meetings, I all of a sudden saw the picture of our LA tour in my mind. I miss those streets we passed by heading to Santa Monica beach. I even saw the organic mattress los angeles store and I couldn’t believe that there are also mattresses that are made from organic products. I hope to stop by at that store the next time we go to LA. I want to check how organic mattresses are good at and compare it from the regular mattress. I would love to have one of those if that gives comfort and coziness while asleep. They said that getting a good night sleep would have a lot to do with having a quality mattress that we sleep on. I so agree!

Not your ordinary fabric

I wonder what kind of fabrics is being used in making parachutes, fireman uniforms, and other protective clothing. Out of curiosity, I did a little search using my fingers and learned about Nomex Fabrics. The kind of fabric used for specialized purposes because it has strong resistant to chemicals and other solvents and also fire resistant. Just like polyester fabrics and nylon fabrics, they are being used for industrial needs like those working in the factories. Now I have an idea what those fabrics are made of. It’s not like the usual textile for clothing. It’s not like we can use them to make dresses and skirts.

They’re not the ones we can grab at DIY and hobby shops. I don’t think I’d be needing such fabrics anytime soon. I think it’s also the kind of fabrics in making tents. I remember having seen someone made some tents several years ago. It a very heavy kind of material and requires many hands to shape and weave it. Often times, it takes many days before finishing a single tent and a lot of effort as well. Their hard-working hands surely deserve commendation isn’t it?

I got new subscribers & some new likes/comments in my photographs at my Facebook Photography Fan Page yesterday, which motivates me to upload recent photos in my page. What pleases me the most is that most of my likes came from the people I don’t know anything about. They probably had seen the photos from friends or friend's friend who previously/recently liked my page and captivates their attention and made them visit my page. Viral networking really works and I love it. I just want to share my passion to everyone and I really appreciate those people who take time visiting and viewing my photos. It means a lot to me. While watching on the television, I spotted this news channel which shows a disaster simulcast on the part of Asia. I can’t help but feel sorry for the affected victims. A friend of mine ordered 100pc lumpia and so here it is. Well, I had 30pc left over from my previous orders, so, I didn’t have to make a lot. The rest of the mix I freeze for future use. I will have to thaw it out again and start wrapping them the soonest, before someone orders again. I have 200pc orders for the 2nd of June (graduation) and I might be able to use the rest of this mixed, unless I get another orders in between now and June 2. By the way, my husband does the mixing of the ingredients and I only wrap. We are the best team when it comes to lumpia making, as well as in other areas of our life, marriage and parenting. LOL! We’re definitely best buddies… Happy BPC ya'll.

In our time, we use to have those bulky books even if we are in pre-school. That’s right, it was hard to summon up since today, and lots of worksheets are being printed and designed in a basic way. It was the reason why my son was so eager to go to Pre-School. Learning was so fun when my little kiddo got this Kindergarten Printables matertials online. He was so amazed with the worksheets that he got since it’s colored and full of shapes perfect for his pre-school curriculum. Even when my son is at home, he continues to work with it. Choosing those stuffs makes less of my time with his other materials.

My kids have all kinds of toys to the point where it gives them little to no space in their bedroom to play. Since they have a little patio in their bedroom, my husband decided to convert it into a playroom. My husband took all the stuff we stored in the patio and brought them all down inside the garage, husband washed the patio floor because there were dusts on it, paint it afterwards and two hours later he laid the carpet down. I gradually transferred all the toys in the patio from their bedroom and the photo above was the finished product. We put screen on the bars that way the toys won’t fall down and installed the blinds to finish the looks. Kids loved it. Though it’s hard when it’s winter because it’s cold to play outside but for the rest of the season it’ll work out great. I also sold their changing table that comes with drawers and side cabinets, replaced it to a regular dresser to create more room. I still wished we have our own house and extra room where we can make it their indoor playroom.

Son's school craft

My son came home from school showing off his handmade “Pets” a bee and an ant. I was amused by it because they look so cute and the fact that my son made it was awesome. Son told me that they talked about insects and pets at school and he utterly says “I want to have a real pet mommy”. I know how much my children would love to have dog or cat in our household but we simply can’t have one yet. The manager of our apartment warned us that all the tenants must not have pets because it’s one of their policies. I wish we have our own place that way we can always have pets whenever we want to. It’s nice to have an animal addition into our family.

My kinder is really improving academically. Aside from maintaining his grades (advanced & proficient), he is showing some improvements when it comes to reading skills. We, as parents are so thrilled knowing that all the efforts we have put-in for our children are paying of. We actually have a drill at home. We told our children to give us something if they want something from us. Yesterday afternoon my son walked up to me and said “mommy I want to read”, when he says that I know he wants something. After he read on the spot, he then asked me if he can play on my computer. We are so proud of him and deserves to play, so I gave in.

I don’t know if you are familiar with this show but I watched it sometimes when I get the chance and I am so amazed with the children. They look so amusing and the fact that they themselves wanted to compete for the winning title and expect to go home with tiaras, are so cute. I’ve seen how parents worked so hard for their daughters to win the game. They show the preparations and that includes dressing their daughters, fixing their hairs and putting make-ups on. Some of the parents are self tanners, they apply tanning spray to they’re daughter’s entire body who has white skintone to create a nicer looking tan skin. This show is very entertaining and sometimes I had my toddler watch it and she’ll pray dress up as well, she’ll put on her princess dress and tiaras too. She’s adorable.
