Hey everyone! Missed me? I hope so!

No thanks to my internet connection I haven't been online in what felt like weeks. I am so glad to have it back and be able to be online.

You're probably wondering what I have been doing while I had no internet connection, well, I have been tap tap tapping away on my iPod playing Tap Tap Revenge 3. Before my internet connection decided to go funky on me, I was able to download this song and I immediately knew I wanted to feature for Music Monday. I have featured Katy Perry on this blog before because I think she is just awesome!

Hey everyone! It's time for another one-hit wonder band song from the 80's, this one is from the British New Wave Band, Dead or Alive. They had 2 hit songs in the 80's, so technically they aren't a one-hit wonder band. LOL

You may have heard this song from The Chipmunks 2 movie, so anyway, here's You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) by Dead or Alive. It's funny how the title has an alternate and it's enclosed in a parenthesis, it's so 80's. haha.

I Want an iPhone 4

The first time I saw the newest member of the Apple family, I knew I found my cell phone soul mate. The iPhone 4 looks so sleek and just gorgeous. Unfortunately, it is way too expensive for me to be able to buy it on a whim. The one I like has real diamonds on it and the apple logo is platinum, so I doubt I'll ever be able to afford it, however, I am able to afford an iPhone 3GS which I am hoping I can buy for my birthday this year. I have my fingers crossed.

I already know where to get the cell phone cover that is just perfect for it. I just got a cover for my iPod Touch, and just on time, as soon as I put the screen guard and rubber case on it, Lucas dropped it on the floor and once I even saw him using Megatron's missile as a stylus! I guess he wanted to test just how effective the screen guard and rubber cover was. I love my iPod's rubber cover because it has red trimmings on it, I want a similar one for my future iPhone. If you haven't noticed by now, red is my favorite color. Everything I own is in red or have red trimmings on it, so you'll know what's mine or B's when you see our stuff. If the iPod comes in red, you can bet mine will be red, but since it doesn't, I'll get the white one and cover it with something red.

Music Monday: Whenever, Wherever by Shakira*

This is the first song I heard from Shakira, I think I was still in high school then, I didn't really hear the whole version of it, because it wasn't my kind of music and every time it played on the radio I would tune it out because I honestly thought it was in a different language and only a part of it was in English. If you know me then you know I'm an 80's music fan, but I like other genres of music too, but this is just not one of them. LOL. So why feature Shakira if I don't like her? Well, that is all thanks to my son, Lucas who has suddenly grown fond of Shakira. You can read my other blog for the story about Lucas and his fascination with Shakira. I don't think she's a very good singer, but she sure can dance!

Anyway, here is Shakira with her song, Whenever, Wherever. I still can't understand some of the words to this song. LOL.

ANEticipating Movie: Inception*

In precisely an hour and 10 minutes, B and I will finally get to see Inception. I have been wanting to see Inception since last weekend when most of my friends on Twitter kept tweeting about how great the movie was and all that, and upon seeing the movie's trailer, how can I not want to watch it? It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, who I thought did an amazing job in Shutter Island, aside from being awesome in Titanic, Catch Me If You Can and The Man In the Iron Mask, those are some of his movies that make my list of favorite movies ever.

I studied psychology in college, so this is a topic I know I will be amused with. Okay, B is here and my coffee and blueberry cheesecake are almost gone, I'll leave you with the trailer of Inception.

Friday Fill Ins: Yay Weekend!*

Yay! It's Friday! My favorite day of every week! It is the end of work week, although I love my job, it is still nice to have weekends off and spend them with family and friends.

This is the first time I am ever going to have a theme for Music Monday, and I must say, I am loving having a theme.

If you have been to my other blog, then you know by now that one of these days, B and I will be celebrating the 10th year of being together. Yay for us! So anyway, this week for Music Monday, I am going to share some of the songs that define us as a couple. I will tell you the whole story, so just stay tuned for that.

For now, here is I Didn't Know I Was Looking For Love Until I found You by Everything But The Girl.

Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt is a 2 person English band, known as Everything But The Girl. I love them so much and this song truly expresses my feelings when I first realized I am "utterly and irrevocably" (as Bella Swan would have put it) in-love with B. ANEticipating Movie: Vampires Suck*

Last week, B and I watched Eclipse, and I have started to write a review on that but it sucked so bad I can't finish it, I'll try my best to get it done tomorrow or perhaps during the weekend. Anyway, as I was surfing the internet researching for my job, I cam across this upcoming movie entitled Vampires Suck, and I was so intrigued by the title alone, I just had to check it out.

I wanted to know what the title meant, if it meant Vampires Suck as in they suck blood or Suck as in they're awful, and in this case, it can be both. LOL.

I love a good funny movie, and from what I have seen from the trailer, I just might love this one. I am definitely going to see this movie, it opens in theaters on August 18, 2010 in the US and September 1, 2010 (a day before my birthday! Yay!) in the Philippines.

This just might be the big hit the makers of flopped movie parodies like Epic Movie and Disaster Movie, have been waiting for. Check it out!

I love the part where the supposedly Vampire James asked the guy if he knew who they were and the guy said, "You're the Black Eyed Peas", LMAO on that one! I can't wait to see this movie! Oh and the guy who plays Jacob is equally as hot as Taylor Lautner, so Yay!

This is for my darling B, who had to sit through another Twilight movie because he loves me.

This is also for my guy friends who think Vampires Suck!

Music Monday: Defying Gravity Glee Style*

It is Monday everyone!

Anyway, I feel like a Glee song is an appropriate song to start this week. No to limitations set by the society!

Defying Gravity is originally a song from a musical entitled, "Wicked" by Stephen Schwartz and it was based on the novel entitled "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire.

I chose this version of Kurt Hummel(Chris Colfer) and Rachel Berry(Leah Michele) from Glee. This was seen in Season 1 Episode 9, entitled, "Wheels". I love their version of this song, so anyway, here it is!

Sattelite TV Deal V.S Cable TV Deal

I am really tired of our local cable operator!

Almost all the movie channels show the most ancient of movies, I mean it is fun to watch re-runs of movies once in a while, but nothing beats watching new movies. I am also tired of all the non-English foreign channels, I am not Korean, Indian, Chinese or Japanese and yet we have like 10 channels of each, I don't understand the language and they don't have subtitles, so I don't watch those channels, but I pay for those channels because it comes with the package. I don't mind having foreign channels as long as I understand the language, like more English and Spanish channels would be fine, and some Italian and French would be good. I can't speak Italian or French, but those are 2 of the sexiest languages ever, so I don't mind listening to it. I mean I just want to be able to get what I pay for, I don't want to pay extra for channels that I never get to watch. That is just so unfair. This is why I am contemplating on going Dish. There is only one satellite tv provider in our area and from what I hear of it, it sounds like its Satellite TV Deals are a steal.

I am told that I can actually choose the channels that I want and dump the ones that I don't want, that way I only pay for the channels that I choose to have. That sounds awesome and that is exactly what I need. Another perk I am made aware of is the ability to have multiple tv's free for 3 months, without the messy wires. I don't like clutter and if it's wireless then I am all for it. Not only that, I can get a DVR for free upon sign up, which means I don't have to miss any shows ever again because I can have the DVR record it whenever it airs and I can't watch it. That is just so totally wicked!

I guess I might really make a switch this weekend, I can't wait.

It's a very late Music Monday for me today, I was actually going to skip it this week because I was just so busy, and I have a deadline to make as we speak, but I just had to get this song I have on my mind which has been playing over and over since I heard it a few hours ago on tv.

So the song is called, "Bone With a Dog" (I know, weird!) and was done by Juan Pablo Gariglio specifically for this axe ad. Check it out.

Remember my last trip to Manila? Well, before going on that said trip, I promised my 8 year old cousin, that I would bring him back whatever he wanted as a coming home present, because I felt bad that he was the only one not coming with us to Manila, his older sister gets to go with us because she also needed to see the dentist. So anyway, my cousin, his name is Joey, asked me if I could buy him a yoyo. I was thinking, "Really? A yoyo, that's it?", so I quickly agreed to it because I thought I was probably not going to have a hard time looking for a yoyo, I even told him I'd find him the biggest and coolest yoyo that I can find and I was so completely confident that I will find one. I was dead wrong. I did not find a single yoyo anywhere, not even in the biggest toy store in Manila. They just didn't have it at this time because it was "out of stock". I mean can you believe that? Is it yoyo season or something?

I wasn't able to get him a yoyo in Manila, but I still wanted to keep my word, so when I got home here in Baguio, I quickly searched online for a place where I can get a yoyo, I was lucky enough to come across a uk yoyo shop that have amazing yoyos. So I chose the one that I thought would was the coolest and bought it for Joey. You're probably thinking I must have spent a fortune on a toy, but you'd be wrong. It wasn't at all that expensive and the best part of it is shipping is FREE. Thank Gor I found YoyoShop.Co.UK, I know I'll be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that I haven't broken a promise.
