The Audacity of Hope- Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream This new book by Barak Obama (senator from Illinois, and 08 candidate for president - at least i hope so). Still at home! I thank God that I have an understanding job! I am much stronger than I was yesterday. I slept into 9:30am, then had some Cheerios and fell back to sleep till well after noon. Last monday, our laptop finally died...taking my book with it. Thankfully, a friend from Enoch's Path donated a computer to us yesterday so I am back up and running. Thanks again friend! Today is my daughter's birthday, so I am home all day. I am not going to post much today because I want to spend the majority of the time with her. So, maybe I'll post more tonight... New Theme, New Day

As usual, I've updated my theme to one I like better. We've been without the computer for a couple days since our AC adapter fried. It's 2pm on Monday, and I'm back home! I won a half day of work today. It's so nice! After work, I drove up the beltline and saw my friend Jes for a minute while she was working at Starbucks. Then, I decided to drive the backroads home since it is a bright, sunny day! Now, I listen in on my wife reading a book to our oldest daughter and sit next to our youngest on the couch as she sleeps.

Nintendo Wii overshadows Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

From the reports I've read about the E3 convention, the Nintendo's next gen system has overshadowed the other two major rivals, PS3 and Xbox360. Today was a good day. The kids and I drove out to the store and got Mel some small gifts for her on Mother's Day tomorrow.
