The attorney will also work to promote greater opportunity for diverse low-income communities by advocating for affordable, inclusive communities and preventing commercial or residential development from unnecessarily or unfairly displacing low-income residents. The attorney will also be responsible for community education, tenant organizing and litigation to address housing-related health hazards that threaten vulnerable, low-income tenants.
