Last Saturday, I went helping my hubby doing his photography work.

It was really fun. And I am willing to do it again.

Though it was tiring, it was fun to do it.

I mean I was able to see the special moment of others wedding and really happy to capture the blissful moments.

I Love to see those smiles. Those happy smiles must be kept in pictures especially on a big day like this.

For an info, my hubby is a part-time photography for an event especially in actual wedding event.

This is the 2nd time I helped my hubby doing his photography work. This time, the whole day event started at Tamparuli, where the bride done her makeover at a bridal shop. We managed to shoot the makeover moment.

The wedding vow was done at St John Church in Tuaran, meanwhile the wedding reception was held at Tun Fuad Hall in Penampang.

Yes, indeed it was tiring. But to see those happiness smiles reminds me my own wedding around 4 years ago.. :)

LOL.. Actually these were just several pictures of Gabriel doing some stretching while playing with his toy. That was as early as 7am. Yes, he woke up really early every morning. Mostly around 5am to 6am. He always did funny things that I couldn't forget. I think this was the first time he did so. He put his leg up as high as he could. I found it was really funny. Indeed that was really a priceless moment. ( those mommies out there would really get what i mean )

He is growing really fast. I am afraid that i could not see those moments anymore. :(
I don't want to miss those priceless moments. Therefore i always capture the moments as many as i can.

Let those special moments be kept in pictures. So that they will not vanish as time goes by. And to reminds me how priceless this God's gift is. I pray that he will be always taken care by GOD because this gift is really owned by GOD.

My task is bringing him up into this world, as well as taking him with well care so that one day he will be good to others and live his life according to GOD's will ; responsibilities of a mother given by GOD.

January Celebration..

We are now nearly to the middle of January. Time indeed flies so fast. Feels like we were just celebrated Christmas and New Year.

Well, January will be the Chinese New Year celebration. So, what is your planning for Chinese New Year?.. For me, maybe do some family gathering with the in-laws. My hubby ada mix cina, tapi sikit seja la hehe.. He decided to do some BBQ yg Korean style kunun.. And of course, mesti mau beli tu peralatan dia.. Well, kalau jadi, i will blog it out. ;)

Oh ya.. Just to share with you. My hubby was so thoughtful. He came back home yesterday with this my all time fav food.. Hehe.. ;)

Punya sedap..lama x mkn ni bambangan hehe.. Terus rasa mau makan 2 piring nasi oh..hehehe :p

I haven't had it for so long.

I think it was like 10 years plus.

What was I talking about?..

Yes, it was ' buah tarap'.. hehe ;)

Hubby bought it last week at this ' gerai tepi jalan' in Kota Marudu area; on our way to Kudat.

I realized i haven't had it for so long.

That's why I asked hubby to buy it.

RM5 per 1 fruit. Don't know how she (the seller) counts it.

Agak besar juga lah the tarap.

Puas hati makan..hehe..

It must the season suda kan.. :)

Wow.. lama tidak makan bah..

Sekali makan kan terasa macam sedap betul ni..hehe.. ;)

Indeed it is a lovely Monday for me here in Kudat.

At last I can see the blue sky and the sunshine.

What a lovely weather to start a day..

After so long gloomy and heavily rain as well as the dark sky, I feel rejuvenated, fresh and reborn again..

What happened after few days rained? Hmm..really dislike.

Our clothes couldn't dry too because of the gloomy weather for this past few days.

But, I thank GOD for today, a bright Monday. At least it gives me hope that sunshine and blue sky still exists.

Christmas 2011, The Anniversary & New Year 2012

I supposed to separate the story about my Christmas 2011 celebration, wedding anniversary and New Year 2012. Well I hope it should be okay to combine it in 1 post hehe.. Forgive me if the post is too long.. Haha!

By the way, how is your new year 2012 celebration?.. What's your new resolution?..

As most of you know (for those who are really following my blog regularly) , the month of December is indeed the month of celebrations for me. The celebrations including hubby's and my birthday (which I posted previously), our 4th wedding anniversary, Christmas Day and New Year countdown. :).

I am blessed to have those I love around me, especially dear hubby and our beloved lil' one, baby Gabriel Aiden. I couldn't thanked enough to GOD. I praise to GOD each day for this wonderful gift. A blessed happy and peace family I have.

Christmas Day 2011

The Christmas celebration was really simple enough though it should be meaningful year for us as baby Gabriel was there too. 25th December 2011 in the morning, started with attending Church service at the Church of Mary Immaculate Kota Kinabalu, then had breakfast at Lintas, then went for to 1Borneo Hypermall just for 'jalan-jalan'. Later, around 2.30pm, we straight away went to my parents house in Taman Bersatu for the family gathering for Christmas celebration. ;)

Wedding Anniversary

Meanwhile, our 4th wedding anniversary was on 29th Dec. Hubby gave surprise a one night stay at Kasih Sayang Resort. A nice place to stay with the cool weather and mesmerize view. He suddenly asked me to pack our things on the 29th Dec morning. I was really had no idea, but found out he booked the place long time ago.

Thank you dear hubby for the relaxing stay. He booked a deluxe type room. The room was indeed spacious and comfy. One day I will build our bedroom just like the design. Really nice ;) And not forget the wonderful view, calm and cool weather.. It should be great for those who are in love, or for a family trip..

You even can do religious activity there, because I heard there was a religious group doing their spiritual retreat while we're having breakfast (we could heard the hymms they sang not far from the breakfast place). A peace hymms and spiritual songs really made our day; I felt inner peace and really thankful to GOD for what we had especially on our 4th years anniversary of marriage life. Amen! :)

New Year 2012 Countdown

The new year 2012 countdown took place at my parents house in Taman Bersatu, Putatan. We ( hubby, baby gabriel and me), stayed there for a night for the countdown. Macam biasa lah, sementara tunggu pukul 12am, activity BBQ lah.. :) We had fun.. plus the BBQ food also sedap hehe..:)

And on the 2nd day of year 2012, it was my in-law turns for new year family gathering. They planned for homemade steamboat. Actually my hubby planned for steamboat restaurant, but anyhow the place was switched at my MIL house in Kg Kondis, Penampang. I found it was fun to do steamboat food at home though. This was my 1st experience having homemade steamboat and i think it wasn't really hard to prepare the dishes. ( i did not prepare the food though, busy taking care of gabriel bah hehe).

It was fine Saturday.

17 December 2011, nice weather and a meaningful day for my loved one.

Yes, it was a date which my hubby was born.

We celebrated it at Promenade Hotel, Kota Kinabalu. We went for lunch there. And it was on me.. ;) A birthday treat for him. There was no surprise gift, just a simple lunch. Yet it was meaningful and memorable because baby gabriel was there too for the 1st time. ;)

Oh and by the way, I went to salon on the same day to cut my hair.

I got tremendous hair fall after I delivered baby gabriel. Several experienced mommies advised me to cut it, so i took their advice. Hubby encouraged me to cut my hair too..

Hello dear friends,

we've been through nice numbers (dates) throughout the year.

And now we are in the midst of December already.

Another nice date after 11.11.11 and 20.11.2011,

it is 13.12.11 which is yesterday.. ;)

As of others maybe choose those dates for their wedding ceremony or engagement party, the date 13.12.11 itself really special for me.

It is because my birthday falls on 13th December. ;)

Well what was happened on my birthday?.. Any surprise by hubby?.. Most of friend asked me whether i got what i dream of..

So what is actually i dream of?.. To be honest, a thought would be enough. And having them (the love of my life) to celebrate with me on my birthday is really meaningful to me. What more I can think of?.. The loves of my life, dearest gabriel and dearest hubby.. :D

However, dearest hubby was thoughtful enough. He booked a room at Kudat Golf & Marina Resort without me knowing. Kira surprise la kunun tu.. ;)

Welcoming December

Hello dear friends, December is here..:)
Time flies really fast..
Feels like i just gave birth to my lil boy.
And this coming Christmas he will be 4 months old..

I am welcoming December with a BIG smile this year. There will be three of us. So sweet.. I want to put this great moment in a photo. I want to cherish it as it is the first time baby Gabriel be with us on this Christmas season. Thank you GOD for such a great and amazing gift.
It is a huge gift to us. :D

Oh ya..did you all saw the lunar eclipse last night?.. It was amazing event isn't it?... I managed to watched right in front of our house. No clouds and it was really clear. ;)

3 Months Old

Baby Gabriel turned 3 months old yesterday. Time flies so fast. Feels like I just gave birth to him yesterday..

But I am so glad to see his progress. I guess this is the part where mothers enjoying so much.. Enjoying the development of their kids growing up. To see him growing up so fast; I don't want to miss a bit of it. I really love to see it before my eyes. The enjoyment and blissfulness you can't describe.

Some people said, you'll become wise enough once you become a mother. You started to think about your baby's goodness, what is the best for him, to protect him and etc. These are the responsibility that you must to handle once you become a parent, in the hope of he will become the best in term of health and behaviour. In the hope that he will be the best son of yours when he is grown up.

Indeed the enjoyment and blissfulness being a mother you can't describe. Once you become a mother, then you'll know it. For the moment, I am enjoying motherhood so much; every part of it. :D

Meanwhile, baby Gabriel is now :-

- able to hold his head up by himself..:)

- can really watch and enjoy tv programme. He even smile and laughing while watching BBTV, Channel 611 and 610. His fav cartoon is Dinosaur Train..

- can laugh with loud out voice. So cute! I wish I can record it for you to watch.. :)

- able to talk with you (baby talk).. & grab your attention.. pandai bawa bercerita ba..hehe

- able to touch and grab his toys, pacifier, bottle.. :D

- trying to feels things through his tongue. Habis jari tangan semua masuk mulut bah! hihi.. I guess this is a sign of teething.. :D

- able to response quickly when his daddy play with him.. :)

- able to show his emotion. Pandai marah2 suda..bkn nangis seja haha..funny!

So, this is the latest picture of baby Gabriel. :D

I believe today would be the most historical and memorable day for you.

For me, I don't have any special thing to do on this day.

Today as early as 8.00am, we (hubby, dear son and I) went to St Peter Church, Kudat, then later went for a breakfast in Kudat town. And after that, just spending some quality time with beloved hubby and son at home.

The hair story..

It's been 2 months 3 weeks and 3 days since I gave birth to baby Gabriel..The post-natal effect is now affected me. Yes, that is the hair fall problem..

I discovered this problem few days back. I am sure most of post-natal ladies experienced the same. I heard it is because the hormones thing. Mostly two to three months after delivery, the hormones started to change back to normal, therefore the problem such as hair loss will occured.

I don't know when it will be stopped. I heard some of mothers experienced this problem until 1 year period of time.

So, dear mothers out there who faced this problem, please share your experiences and care to share your method on how to overcome it. :)

Yes, indeed I am so excited. Really excited for the coming month of December. Well who's doesn't?.. December is a month of Christmas, a month of holiday.. and I am sure most of you feels the same.. :D

By the way, Christmas celebration this year really meaningful and special for both me and hubby. Knowing the fact that we will celebrate Christmas Day with the appearance of our dearest baby boy for the first time, makes us feel very happy.

We can't ask for more. Our son is the greatest gift we ever had for Christmas.. :D

My Giving Birth Story- PART 3

Hello dear friends,

I am here again to update for the part 3 of my giving birth experience.
I guess this is the last part, I hope so. :) First of all, forgive me for taking so long to post for this part of story.

And here is the continuation from part 2..

I requested 2 times for the painkiller. The nurse said the painkiller should be given 50% for each jab (not sure what the meaning of this). However she gave me 25% each.. It's weird because the painkiller seem didn't worked at all. The pain still there as at it was. I mean it didn't made me ease at all.

I still bearing with the pain. I couldn't bear any longer. That was what i was thinking at that time. Still, I keep myself positive. I told myself, i can do this.

Hubby keep whispering to me, "You can do it.." And i don't know how long I can bear this pain anymore..

The CTG reading keeping up to 100. And at one time it stagnant at 100 reading. OMG, i tell you, that was the worst part when it reached 100.

The nurse said, 'Jangan tahan nafas, ko kena bernafas tu.. Tarik nafas'.. And i followed her advice.

It was around 10am, Doctor Ramesh finally came to view my condition. He broke my waterbag and examined my cervix. It was only dilated 2cm. Oh my God, after bearing intense pain, I was dilated 2cm only. Can you imagine that?..

As the waterbag broke, the doctor said the baby defecated.. He found feces in the waterbag. He confronted me and hubby that it was fine. It was still in controlled. The feces still in small portion but obviously it can't be waited too much long. It could become dangerous to our baby. Our baby might drown or suffocated.

The doctor took a view of my contraction pattern and the baby's heartbeat pattern through the CTG machine and he found out that our baby's heartbeat become slower. He advised us that if the baby's heartbeat decrease to another level or still in weak condition for the next couple hours, we can't wait for the dilation anymore. I have to go for the c-section operation to save our baby's life.

As I heard the doctor said as such, my heart felt some weirdness. I mean what if I have to go for c-section after bearing so much pain for the sake of the dilation. All the waiting and pain-bearing will be in vain.

It was 11.30am. I could not wait any longer anymore. I told my hubby to inform the nurse that I opt for c-section. The reason were, 1st I couldn't bear the pain anymore, 2nd the waiting and pain-bearing will be in vain if I still not dilated for the next hours and the 3rd was to save my baby's life as his heartbeat already in weak condition and he defecated already in my womb.

The nurse asked me if I have really made up mind, and I answered firmly 'Yes' (doii tidak tahan sakit suda bah).. She then gave me a paper, a sort of confirmation document for me to put my signature.

And at 12.30pm I was sent to operation room. The c-section procedure was done quite fast, at 1 hour period only. Hubby also in the operation room to witness for the welcoming of our baby boy to the world. He even took pictures.. :D

The c-section process was painless. I just jabbed with sort of anesthetic at my left hand and at my back. I guess the anesthetist is professional enough. And the rest of the process, I just felt as like someone had touched my tummy. Thank God.. :)

At 1.30pm, I was sent out from operation room. My body shivering, I felt very cold. The nurse said, " badan ko memang begegar tu, itu effect dari ubat bius tu.."

And the important part in the whole process of my giving birth experience was I made a right decision to opted for c-section.

As I reached at my room, one of the nurse told me I made a right decision. The nurse informed me," nasib baik ko minta operation oh, ko punya baby punya leher suda terlilit sama tali pusat. Terlilit dua kali lagi tu.."..

I was like, speechless. This was really shocking news. What if I waited for few hours then? What will happened to my precious baby? Thank GOD.. I was really grateful. Indeed He gave me some sort of courage and guidance to get through this event.

Okay, that is my giving birth experience.

I guess many of you waiting for the part 2 story. So sorry for the delay. Ini lah ni kalau ada baby kecil, susah betul mau berblogging. Even blogwalking pun limited time saja. I hope i can spend more time on blog after this. I promise myself to do so.

Ok, here is the giving birth story part 2.

As i changed my attire to a hospital's cloth, i noticed there was a blood spot on my pantyliner. And the nurse said, " Nah ada darah suda tu..? ". I was very happy. I thought due to the blood spot and available contraction, there's no need for me to go for induce.

The nurse checked my cervix, it was dilated only 1cm. I was put on CTG machine to monitor the heartbeat of my baby as well as my contraction pattern. The contraction reading increasing from 30 to 70 and 100. The nurse said."nah ada suda contraction ko tu.. tinggi tu..". But honestly, the contraction really not bad at all, i still can smile and still can bear the pain.

I remembered the day before, doctor suggested me to go for induce using prostaglandin, which is a suppository or tampon like substance will be placed in or near my cervix during a vaginal exam.

However, the nurse said i might not be induced because there is a sign of labor already such as the blood spot and available contraction. I feel relieved to hear the nurse said so.

It was 9.30 am. Doctor still not appear in the labor room. The nurse reported to doctor about my recent condition via phone. And the doctor said, i had to go for induce but not using prostaglandin method, instead i will be induced using pitocin which is sort of liquid that will be dripped into my hand through IV line.

"Okay, i had to accept this", I told my heart and push myself to merged on a positive mind. "This should be fine", i told this repeatedly to myself. Thanks to my hubby, he was there all along the process. He gave me strength and encouraged me to stay in positive mind.

At last, i was dripped with that pitocin which a method of induce to cause my contraction even harder (according to the nurse). And i waited and waited till the contraction become harder as well as waited until my cervix dilated to 9-10cm.

And it is true, the pain really bad. The contraction become more harder. The nurse said, "kalau tidak tahan, cakap seja ok..nanti saya inject ko ubat tahan sakit, tapi ini ubat tidak kasi hilang sakit 100 peratus ok.." And trust me, i requested the painkiller 2 times due to the unbearable pain.

Our Baby's Fullmoon

I supposed to write about my giving birth experience part 2, but i guess i better post about our baby's fullmoon celebration first. I am gonna post about the birth experience later after this post. So sorry for the delay okay.. I am totally occupied with my little boy that i hardly to spend time to update my blog.

Well, about the fullmoon celebration, we (hubby and I) decided to celebrate it at the Jack & Pot Cafe in Penampang. It was on 25th September 2011 at 1pm. I am really grateful baby Gabriel really tidak bnyk karenah masa tu.. He fell asleep all along the celebration. Ada juga dia terbangun, but still okay..tidak juga dia nangis..hehe..

Most of relatives that attended the celebration wanted to carry baby Gabriel. Back at home, baby Gabriel slept for over 4 hours that evening till the next morning without milk. I guess he was really tired because of kena ganti-ganti org pigi dukung dia hehe.. sian dia..

My Giving Birth Story- PART 1

Hi everyone.. It's been a long time.

Yes, I didn't update my blog for about a week plus. This confinement period plus taking care of newborn restrain me from spending a lot of time for blogging job.

However, now i am taking this short opportunity of time while my dearest baby boy is sleeping. Hope he sleeps a little longer right now..hehe

So, today i would like to share with you my giving birth experience.

I went for doctor review on the 22nd August 2011. According to the ultrasound scan, doctor said the baby was still not engaged. My estimated delivery date was supposed to be on the 24th August 2011. However, i didn't feel any major contraction or something like that.

Doctor suggested me to go for CTG process on the 24th August 2011 and he said i might be induced to bring on the contraction in order to go for labor. My heart was pounded as soon as i heard the word "induce" because it was rumored that the induce process contributing much more contraction pain than natural contraction.

As suggested by doctor, i went for CTG process on the 24th August. The CTG result showed that the baby heartbeat was slow and weak. Doctor asked me to come again to hospital the next day. He said i had to be induced to speed up the labor process which is mean, I should delivered my baby the very next day. He advised hubby and me that there is a risk to wait the labor to start on its own because the baby's heartbeat was weak. So, we accepted the doctor's advice.

Back at home, 24th August 2011 night, suddenly I felt contraction during bedtime. I can't sleep the whole night. The contraction was not that bad, but due to the uncomfortable feeling, i can't put my eyes closed.

The next day, hubby and me went to Rafflesia Medical Centre. We headed straight to 1st floor. The nurse in charge checked my case notes and asked me to labor room for CTG and as well as checking the dilation.

I remember she questioned me , " ada rasa sakit sudah ka?.. " I straightly answered I just felt the contraction the very night before. She asked me to change attire; have to wear hospital's cloth. And i noticed there was a blood spot on my pant means there's a sign of labor already..

My Wedding Gown

Hello dear friends, how is your day?..

Well today i am gonna post about "My Wedding Gown" which is a topic for Cath-j.com Blog Guest.

The story is..

The wedding gown wasn't really my dream gown. I searched for my dream wedding gown which is more to modern style, simple yet come with my body shape and the gown not kembang. However, i didn't found it. (You know-lah kalau rent punya gown mana ada yg betul-betul ikut shape badan kita kan..hehe)

Rented this strapless wedding gown from Yes I Do Bridal, Penampang.

Though it was not my dream wedding gown, I found it fine for me. So, i took the wedding gown as for the Wedding Mass ceremony.

So, how you find my gown?.. Simple seja kan.. Tidak terlalu kembang and tidak meleret-leret gown dia.. Yes, I planned for simple gown only.. :)

And here is the upper part of the wedding gown.. Simple yet i found it nice lah.. It designed with a few flower pattern and buttons.

And as for wedding reception, we choose blue color as our theme. And here is my wedding reception dress. :)
