"I am so tired of reading about Romney/Bain bashing. If you don't know what venture capitalists and private equity firms do, then inform yourselves, after all, you claim to be a capitalist." That was a recent quote I posted on my facebook page for which I received several positive comments. However, since then the rhetoric such as vulture capitalist keeps coming up as well as false information on various websites and blogs. One such article can be found in the following link:

Meanwhile Ricky Perry, who just can't stop attacking Mitt Romney on this issue is losing a very big donor who is now siding with the Romney camp. Newt Gingrich is losing it. I would have never thought that a man as smart as he is, would lose control like he did. He has shown me a side of himself that prompted me to no longer consider him for President. The same goes for Rick Perry.

I was appalled that the American Thinker would let an article such as the above one go out and forwarded it to my son who is directly involved with Private Equity firms. He wrote the following true accounting of what really goes on inside a company like Bain. Please feel free and share this info, as it appears the majority of American people have no idea, and the garbage the media is feeding us doesn't help.

"The author of the American Thinker article is the hypocrite and horribly mistaken. Although he spells out what a venture capitalist is, he miserably fails in categorizing Romney and Bain capital as vulture capitalists. That term certainly exits, but is geared for the Carl Icahn's of the world aka - corporate raiders. Sure, we have corporate raiders and firms geared in this country that specialize in profiting on declining performance, and guess what, they have a right to invest the way they do and its legal and part of our great capitalistic economy. Bain Capital is a firm that targets and seeks to acquire and own majority control of good companies historically that are either being poorly managed, have been impacted by changing market conditions or regulations, or they see an opportunity to significantly increase the profitability and growth of the business. Its called "private equity", and not once over the last week has anyone come out and given an accurate description to who Mitt Romney is as a business man or Bain Capital. They are Private Equity Investors, not venture capitalists or vulture capitalists. In fact, I don't think I have even heard the term "private equity" on the airwaves, including Fox News. This clown along with bigger clowns like Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich think that you are either a venture capitalist ("good) or vulture capitalist ("bad"). It's appalling that trusted news sources can't even do enough diligence to understand what they are talking about before they start meddling in an industry they know nothing about or the other Republican candidates for that matter. Bain Capital owns companies like Toy's r Us, Dunkin Doughnuts, Dominoes Pizza, The Weather Channel and many more. They have no interest in raiding the company's profits and selling them off in pieces and destroying the companies. They are trying to make them better, increase revenues, create growth and opportunity, while maintaining fiscal discipline of the company. Sounds like exactly what this country needs right now.

In fact, I find it quite ironic that our government that took control of General Motors brought in a board and executive team lead by Dan Akerson that are primarily all former private equity investors. But hey, I guess these guys don't know what they are doing or know how to fix great companies and create jobs."

I would like to add that Bain or any other private equity firm has a fiduciary duty to pay their investors when the company makes a profit. That is the way capitalism works. If that investor was from overseas, then that's where the profit to that investor goes. Lets not forget that many type of government agencies also used Bain etc. to invest their money in.

A little tidbit about Mitt: Since 1999, when Romney entered public life, taking over the troubled operations of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, and later as Governor of Massachusetts, he has donated his public service salaries to charity.

The core belief of every collectivist — whether described as communists, socialists, or Statists — always revolves around the belief that a few are smarter than all others and, as such, capable of determining what creates happiness for everyone.

Any suspicion that President Barack Obama does not deserve one of the above descriptions was dispelled in his speech in Osawatomie, Kan., this week.

Obama deliberately channeled Theodore Roosevelt's appearance in the same Midwestern town a century earlier, when he delivered an address titled: "The New Nationalism."

While badly missing Roosevelt's mark, Obama also revealed himself as a willing class warrior, a Luddite reincarnate, and an uninformed preschool candidate for Econ 101.

When Roosevelt spoke in 1910, he advocated a collective approach to caring for people but he also extolled the virtues of capitalism, the system that has driven America to enjoy the greatest economy in mankind's history. Roosevelt actually quoted Abraham Lincoln extensively in his address and paid special tribute to capitalism.

"Capital has its rights, which are as worthy of protection as any other rights … Nor should this lead to a war upon the owners of property. Property is the fruit of labor; … property is desirable; is a positive good in the world," said Lincoln/Roosevelt.

Obama, who has hailed the efforts of the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street movement, had no such praise for the American economic system.

Instead, Obama complained about the wealth gap, ignored personal responsibility in accumulating debt and blamed job losses on technology.

He cited the minimum wage and unemployment benefits for enriching America, but failed to credit the productive elements of the U.S. economy, led by good old-fashioned self interest.

Amazingly, he advocated the basic productive quality of the free enterprise system when he cited Henry Ford as the best example of a benevolent boss because he increased worker pay so employees could buy his cars.

Ford did so out of self interest, not for any altruistic reason and not because government forced him to do so.

Nothing new, but a credible source indicating that following through with the agenda is potentially dangerous and illegal.

Dear Friends,

Today, I completed the initial phase of notification of major utility companies in the Southeast US of the substantial legal and financial risk they face from imposition of manmade global warming laws, regulations or any action based on the failed anthropogenic global warming (AGW) or manmade global warming theory.

This notification was in the form of the recently published letter to Florida Governor Rick Scott. A copy is attached. Other information including a related article from Dr. Rich Swier at Redcounty.com was also sent. The article is attached.

The effort is to bring to the attention of utility executives that new scientific evidence shows that the AGW theory is unreliable, that greenhouse gasses caused by mankind's industrial activity have at best, a miniscule impact on climate. It further establishes that attempts to mitigate atmospheric content through carbon credit trading, or other means like carbon sequestration, not only will not help but may be both a net financial loss and potentially illegal.

SUBJECT: Termination of State Initiatives in Support of Manmade Global Warming.

Dear Governor Scott,

This letter is sent to request that your office take immediate action to terminate any and all initiatives by the State of Florida, including rescission of all past legislation that was based upon the impact on the Earth’s climate by greenhouse gasses caused by human industrial exhaust and other human related activities.
The primary reason for this special request is based on an overwhelming new set of evidence that shows that the science for manmade global warming, or anthropogenic global warming (AGW), from greenhouse gas emissions is invalid.
It is widely known that much of the science on climate change and predictions for AGW- generated future climate effects on the Earth, especially that originating from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UN-IPCC) since 1988, has been based on predetermined outcomes, incomplete research, manipulated data, flawed global climate models (GCM), and a substantial overestimate of the impact of greenhouse gasses (GHG), especially human generated CO2, on the Earth’s climate.
Further, the advent of a new and potentially dangerous cold climate era which has just begun, essentially eliminates the AGW theory as an effective tool for understanding global climate change. This fait accompli is the result of the AGW theory’s fundamental assertion that as long as CO2 continues to rise (which it is still doing) then the Earth’s atmospheric temperatures can only go up, and never down. Yet, the new cold climate is taking them down for decades to come.
The rare and dramatic reduction in the Sun’s energy output which has brought on this new climate era is called a “grand solar minimum” by solar physicists or more appropriately, a “solar hibernation.” Once the Sun enters a state of hibernation, the subsequent, inescapable record cold climate that follows is typically thirty years long or more and regrettably, is unstoppable!

First announced by me to the White House, Congress, and the mainstream media in April and May of 2007, this historic change in the Sun has recently been confirmed by NASA, the US Air Force, and the National Solar Observatory. Other prominent scientists years before had done research similar to mine and like me discovered the specific 206 year solar cycle that drives these cold climate changes as well as the preceding run up or global warming that is also part of these natural cycles of the Sun that control the Earth’s climate.
Given the validation of the arrival of the next climate period and its true nature, some scientists have even gone so far as to say this new climate will be a repeat of “The Little Ice Age” of the 1600’s and 1700’s. The SSRC position is that it will not be as cold as that but highly destructive nonetheless. Much of the background on this subject is also documented in my recently released book titled “Cold Sun” which is described in more detail at www.coldsun.net. The book has received worldwide praise from leading scientists and other experts.
On August 29, 2011, I injected this new climate information in the form of a public input into one of many pending pieces of Florida laws and regulation, specifically, the Action Plan of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). I have attached for your consideration, an enhanced version of that input – a summary describing major elements of understanding of the present state of climate change science and analysis.
In addition, there are four important matters which I would like to bring to your attention attendant to the review of climate change oriented legislation within the State of Florida.
First, it is likely that some officials in the state, including within the environmental, energy and education sectors have been well aware that the science behind greenhouse gas emissions and the UN reports was deeply flawed and unreliable, if not intentionally manipulated. Yet even with this knowledge they may have used state funds and their authority to justify and push forward with programs in support of manmade global warming under the guise of “sustainable development,” and environmental protection, similar to that found in the FWC Action Plan. Some officials may have known that the science behind their programs and legislative actions was unreliable and yet helped advance such despite this knowledge. These actions may be regarded as a violation of their fiduciary responsibilities, malfeasance in office, and actionable.
Second, by one account, the Obama administration’s 2011 federal budget includes over $2.5 billion devoted to manmade climate change research and associated programs. I am unaware what the climate change funds picture in Florida is. However, given that the expenditure of any funds for global warming in the state is now highly suspect, it is likely that the state may be able to save a substantial amount of money by an independent review of the state programs that have been based on the disproven science of manmade global warming and manmade climate change.

Third, since the state has no initiatives what so ever to address the only climate we are now facing, namely thirty years of record cold, I strongly recommend the state immediately act to correct this imbalance, and inform and protect its citizens as state authority and resources permit.
Fourth, it may be regarded as fraudulent where there are individuals and companies in the state who have been pursuing business with the full knowledge that manmade global warming science was unreliable, that global warming did not exist and that in fact we are heading into decades of cold weather. Schemes to take advantage of the state or its citizens or investors that are reliant on the bad science of AGW may also be found actionable. This includes such programs as trading in carbon credits, development of carbon mitigation or carbon sequestration programs. In fact, where publicly traded stock companies are involved, such programs may well fall within the definition of trading in “worthless securities” as defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and result in criminal prosecution.
I recommend that all government controlled or funded programs in the state tied to manmade global warming, including within the environmental, energy, and education sectors be stopped immediately pending an independent review of the science, structure, and intent of these programs. This review should be conducted by an objective body of experts outside of those who were involved in the development of these state programs or associated business activities.

Climate Change Summary September 6, 2011
1. Global warming ended years ago. Importantly, it ended right on schedule!
2. There has been no effective growth in the Earth’s temperatures for thirteen years. Global warming no longer exists!
3. Climate change was always caused primarily by variations in the Sun’s activity in conjunction with the motions and orientations of the Earth-Moon system and the other planets.
4. Mankind’s contribution to climate change via greenhouse gas emissions has been miniscule, at most.
5. The role of greenhouse gasses in climate change, in particular carbon dioxide (CO2), has been grossly overstated.
6. Global temperature averages for the atmosphere and the oceans are on a long term decline.
7. The Sun has begun its next “solar hibernation.” This regular, repeating cycle will bring significant cold to the Earth for decades as it has done roughly every 206 years for at least the last 1,200 years.
8. The extent of cold associated with these solar hibernations is such that they pose a grave threat to Florida’s citizens, which among several ill-effects, will adversely impact the availability of basic food supplies. This cold era is expected to cause widespread destruction of Florida’s crops, especially citrus, ornamental and cold sensitive crops as well as to ecosystems and all their natural inhabitants. While the worst effects will occur around the bottom of the 206 year cycle in 2031, initial adverse impacts are already starting to be felt. Global cold weather records over the last few years have already passed 100 years marks and will only continue to set new records as the hibernation deepens.
9. The reports of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UN-IPCC) as well as many of those of the EPA and NOAA that rely on the UN reports, contain significant errors and omissions which preclude their use as reliable climate change science references. For example, the widely known “hockey stick” chart and associated data depicting the last 1,000

years of the Earth’s temperature has been completely debunked and is now recognized as an inaccurate history of global temperature trends and a clearly misleading attempt to correlate mankind’s industrial activity with global temperature. State laws and regulations that also use these reports are likewise unreliable.
10. The past “Climategate” scandal, the posting of hacked emails between UN researchers, has provided serious reason to believe that vital scientific data was manipulated to fit flawed climate models, rather than reflect the reality of the Earth’s climate. The resultant resignation of the head of one of the main climate research organizations that provided data to the United Nations is indicative of the level of culpability of data manipulation in the UN-IPCC reports.
11. Global climate models (GCM) used to support the UN reports and anthropogenic global warming (AGW) have never been objectively and independently validated as reliable predictors of global climate change, and in fact are routinely wrong when compared with global temperature trends and historical records. Simply put, they just don’t work.
12. There are other highly reliable models and theories, both domestically and internationally available to the State of Florida (the RC Theory, for example). These are based on solar cycles which offer much more dependability and confidence for climate-related legislation and regulatory actions vs. the unreliable UN GCM’s based on mankind’s greenhouse gas emissions. Solar-climate studies and theories have demonstrated an accuracy of over 90% in accounting for past climate changes. The RC Theory, in fact correctly predicted the new cold climate.
13. The core threat to Florida posed in the Action Plan, namely that of rising sea levels is no longer correct. Recent data shows the annual change of sea level rise has been declining for more than a decade and is now negative, i.e. sea level growth has stopped. Also, a long term declining trend is in place and is expected to continue since global warming has ended and the Earth’s oceans have begun a long term cool down that is forecast to last for decades.

To my readers: A fellow facebook friend and patriot posted this and with her permission I wanted to pass it on as I couldn't have said it better.

So, my fellow Christian Conservative Patriots, our elected officials have sold us out. They have taken our tax dollars, and used them for selfish and immoral purposes. They've given money to our enemies for years. They invite our enemies to come live amongst us, and give them free government handouts from our hard-earned wages. And those same thieves are now voting against us in all important matters of life, including our rights to freedom of religion. Immorality is at an alarming low, and getting worse daily. We're losing our jobs, homes, and savings due to the very policies they put in place, yet they refuse to change course, or do what's right for America. We stupidly keep electing the same immoral, criminal people to rule over us.

Congress and our courts refuse to address the issue of Obama's eligibility. Why? What is their payoff? I am done with our corrupt politicians. They won't get a single penny from me, or my vote again, because I don't see them impeaching the illegal terrorist usurper in the White House, prosecuting those gunrunning at the ATF, closing our borders, etc. In general, I don't see our legislators doing what is right for us.

Complaining won't change things. They aren't listening and don't care. They have guaranteed pensions and healthcare, while they steal, and ruin ours. That we haven't stopped them, or changed the regime, removed them from office is quite troubling to me. That we lose more freedoms everyday is terrifying. That we haven't shut down the propaganda machines called public broadcasting, is disheartening.

The knowledge that my fellow Americans allow their children to continue attending the public indoctrination centers for their "education," and continue allowing those precious children to be spoonfed Communist, Humanistic, false science garbage, while promoting false religions, and denying freedom of the Christian religion, to me is appalling.

Knowing that few attend city council or township meetings, barely know those whom they are electing to reign over them is inconceivable. My fellow Americans have put their own very lives into the hands of a corrupt, immoral group of Globalist "elites," who are trying to dictate every aspect of our lives, from the foods we eat, to what we can do in our homes and businesses, and the list goes on... That so few fight the creeping Communism/Socialism/Marxism/Progressivism/Fascism (or whatever label you choose to assign), and even Sharia law, and evil ideologies is beyond comprehension.

Can anyone tell me how Obama is still in office? Why is Soros not in prison for war crimes, and allowed to continue destroying nations? Why aren't we fighting the Federal Reserve's raping of America? Why does our Federal Government refuse to secure our borders? And why are we doing nothing to stop this madness? We have become a nation of blind, shortsighted, incompetent fools. I am losing faith in my fellow Americans.

WIKILEAKS EXPOSES NORTH AMERICAN INTEGRATION PLOT

As early as January of 2005, high-ranking officials were discussing the best way to sell the idea of North American “integration” to the public and policymakers while getting around national constitutions. The prospect of creating a monetary unit to replace national currencies was a hot topic as well.

Some details of the schemes were exposed in a secret 2005 U.S. embassy cable from Ottawa signed by then-Ambassador Paul Cellucci. The document was released by WikiLeaks on April 28. But so far, it has barely attracted any attention in the United States, Canada, or Mexico beyond a few mentions in some liberty-minded Internet forums.

Numerous topics are discussed in the leaked document — borders, currency, labor, regulation, and more. How to push the integration agenda features particularly prominently.

Under the subject line “Placing a new North American Initiative in its economic policy context,” American diplomatic personnel in Canada said they believed an “incremental” path toward North American integration would probably gain the most support from policymakers. Apparently Canadian economists agreed.

The cable also touts the supposed benefits of merging the three countries and even mentions what elements to “stress” in future “efforts to promote further integration.” It lists what it claims is a summary of the “consensus” among Canadian economists about the issues, too.

Merging the United States, Canada, and Mexico

Integration is a little-used term employed mainly by policy wonks. But while it may sound relatively harmless, it generally describes a very serious phenomenon when used in a geopolitical context — the gradual merging of separate countries under a regional authority.

Similar processes are already well underway in Europe, Africa, and South America. And according to critics, the results — essentially abolishing national sovereignty in favor of supranational, unaccountable governance — have been an unmitigated disaster. But the U.S. government doesn’t think so.

In North America, integration has been proceeding rapidly for years. The New American magazine was among the first to report on the efforts to erect what critics have called a “North American Union,” encompassing Canada, the United States, and Mexico. But more recently, the topic has received more attention.

After the creation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) — similar in many ways to the European Common Market that preceded the political union in Europe — the integration scheme has only accelerated. And the bipartisan efforts have been going on for years.

Under President George W. Bush, integration occurred through the little-known “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.” And with the Obama administration, the process, now virtually out in the open, is only accelerating.

Back in 2005, the cable released recently by WikiLeaks explained how it would be done. And looking back, the document was right on the mark.

Moving Forward

The best way forward, according to the cable, is via gradual steps. “An incremental and pragmatic package of tasks for a new North American Initiative (NAI) will likely gain the most support among Canadian policymakers,” the cable states in its summary.

“Our research leads us to conclude that such a package should tackle both ‘security’ and ‘prosperity’ goals,” the document claims, using the two key words that have been emphasized at every step along the way. “This fits the recommendations of Canadian economists who have assessed the options for continental integration.”

Toward the end, the cable offers more advice on how to advance the integration agenda by tailoring the narrative. “When advocating [the North American Initiative to integrate the three countries], it would be better to highlight specific gains to individual firms, industries or travelers, and especially consumers,” the cable states, noting that it’s harder to “estimate the benefits” on a national or continental scale.

Unsubstantiated Claims

In a section headlined “North American Integration: What We Know,” the cable offers nothing but praise for the merging of the continent’s once-sovereign nations that had already been achieved.

“Past integration (not just NAFTA but also many bilateral and unilateral steps) has increased trade, economic growth, and productivity,” it claims, despite the fact that countless economists disagree. Of course, true free-trade advocates also correctly point out that the thousands of pages of regulations making up the agreements should hardly be considered examples of genuine free trade.

So-called “security,” the other big integration selling point, is featured prominently in the document as well. “A stronger continental ‘security perimeter’ can strengthen economic performance,“ the cable states. “It could also facilitate future steps toward trilateral economic integration, such as a common external tariff or a customs union.”

And law enforcement “cooperation” is good too, the embassy and the U.S. ambassador claim matter-of-factly.

“Cooperative measures on the ‘security’ side, a critical focus of current bilateral efforts, can deliver substantial, early, and widespread economic benefits,” the cable alleges, offering no evidence to substantiate the assertions.

“Security and law enforcement within North America have evolved rapidly since 9/11,” it continues. “Collaboration to improve these processes could yield efficiency improvements which would automatically be spread widely across the economy, leading to general gains in trade, productivity, and incomes.”

The Alleged “Consensus”

According to the document, “many” economists agree with the scheme. The cable says they support the principle of “more ambitious integration goals” such as a customs union, a single market, and even a continental currency to replace the dollar. On top of that, they supposedly believe such a union should involve all three major North American countries — the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The cable cautions, however, that “most” of the economists believe the gradual approach is “most appropriate” — for now, at least. And all of them apparently agree that such an approach “helps pave the way to these goals if and when North Americans choose to pursue them.”

The embassy cable also included a summary of what it calls the “professional consensus” among Canadian economists on various issues related to integration.

“At this time, an ‘incremental’ approach to integration is probably better than a ‘big deal’ approach,” the document states under the “process” subheading, supposedly referring to the economists’ opinions. “However, governments should focus on choosing their objectives, and not on choosing a process.”

Next in the cable is the question of “border vs. perimeter,” as the formerly secret document puts it. “Even with zero tariffs, our land borders have strong commercial effects,” the embassy said. However, “some” of the effects — such as law enforcement and “data gathering” — are described as “positive.”

“Canada and the United States already share a security perimeter to some degree; it is just a question of how strong we want to make it,” the 2005 document notes. Apparently Canadians’ main reason for seeking a perimeter approach to security and borders, as opposed to a border between the two nations, is to avoid the “risk” that “discretionary” U.S. decisions to stop terror or disease might impede commerce. And evidently, the nations’ rulers did decide to make the perimeter stronger.

As The New American reported in February, U.S. President Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper met in Washington, D.C., to hammer out a deal on solidifying the common “perimeter” around the two countries. Also part of the agreement, which conspicuously bypassed both countries’ legislatures, was a diminished role for the nations’ shared border. The development of a biometric system to track North Americans was agreed to as well, as were numerous other controversial measures.

In terms of labor markets, the so-called “consensus” among the unidentified Canadian economists is also — surprise! — the pursuit of even more integration. “Many Canadian economists point to labor markets — both within and among countries — as the factor market [sic] where more liberalization would deliver the greatest economic benefits for all three countries,” the document states.

Next, the cable release by WikiLeaks highlights another startling proposition about how to achieve an end-run around the Canadian Constitution. “Inter-provincial differences [in regulation] are important here, since Canada's federal government does not have the benefit of a U.S.-style ‘interstate commerce’ clause,” the document states. “While much of the problem is domestic in nature, an international initiative could help to catalyze change.”

Yes, the U.S. embassy referred to the wildly abused and misapplied “commerce clause” as a “benefit” that Canada lacks. And it actually suggested, hiding behind unnamed “economists,” that the constitutional “problem” could be minimized by foisting an “international initiative” on the Canadian people.

The cable also claims the “economists” support a customs union, a feature developed in the European Union once the integration process was well established. “A common external tariff, or a customs union which eliminated NAFTA's rules of origin (ROO), is economically desirable,” it states.

And finally, the document summarizes the “consensus” on the subject of a currency union. It said the supposed economists were “split” on the issues of returning to fixed exchange rates or even abolishing Canada’s fiat dollar and replacing it with American Federal Reserve fiat currency.

The cable gives the final word on the topic of a currency union to the Canadian central bank boss. He is quoted as saying that "monetary union is an issue that should be considered once we have made more progress towards establishing a single market."

Secrets, Backers

The scheme to merge North America into a political unit with its own legislature and currency is largely the brainchild of the world government-promoting Council on Foreign Relations. But though documents leaked earlier this year revealed that governments were trying to keep the process under wraps, integration is now proceeding out in the open for the most part.

Where the campaign will eventually end remains to be seen. But if North American Union advocates get their way, the U.S. Constitution and its Mexican and Canadian counterparts could soon be rendered irrelevant. After that, plugging the regional units into a global system would be a relatively simple matter, critics and supporters both argue.

Apparently, a protest that started in Georgia and online on a Facebook page is now going national. I can definitely get behind this. Whoever came up with this has the right idea. Let’s put the blame where it goes. Our high prices are not because of ‘big oil,’ nor is it because of demand (demand for everything has been falling for 3 years), it is due to one thing and one thing only: This Administration and Congress allowing the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy of devaluation of our currency.

The bailouts, the games, the welfare for bankers and Wall Street, the ‘quantitative easing’ all must END! If it does not, Obama and his minions and all of Congress who have refused to stand up against this destructive monetary policy must be driven from office.

Help educate others about whose fault all this is. When it comes right down to it, Obama has the power himself to stop the Federal Reserve, but neither he nor anyone in Congress has done one thing to stop what is happening to our dollar. MAKE THEM LISTEN! Leave a sticky note! Leave them everywhere you see high prices!

This is a great article explaining what really happened to Detroit. The census data that was realeased today shows a 25% decline in the last decade.

It's not just the decline of the auto industry, which by itself can be attributed to poor upper management and union abuse.

But, in reality, Detroit is America's poster child for the disastrous federal welfare policies that have gutted the black family and made inner cities everywhere unlivable.

BARRY'S TRIP TO RIO DE JANEIRO - WHAT IT COULD REALLY MEAN

Do you remember that in 2009 Obama underwrote and guaranteed $ 2 Million to Brazil, Petrobas, in Rio, for offshore drilling exploration. Not to forget that if any oil were to be found, it will stay in Brazil with no benefit to the US.

Not much later, Obama banned drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, which meant no drilling to exceed 500 ft. Later on, the ban was extended to no drilling off platforms. Consequently, oil companies left the Gulf to drill in other countries.

According to Dinsh Sousa's book "Roots of Obamam's Rage", this kind of maneuver ties in perfectly with Obama's Neo-Colonialism agenda. Weaken the strong, i.e. the US, so the weaker gains strength, i.e. Brazil.

This sudden upcoming trip to Rio must have significant meaning to Obama. why else would he leave his own country that is in severe trouble, behind? He could concentrate on our economy, he could concentrate how else we can help Japan.

I'm thinking that maybe they found oil in Brazil. Perhaps Obama will even have personal gain in this.

I'm just finding this very peculiar, co-incidental?

It's Monday! Time for the latest installment of Moron of the Day! What I love about morons is that they make this so easy. Once again our Moron of the Day is a group of morons. Have you ever noticed how morons seem to love company? You almost always see one moron right next to another. Maybe they should sell those T-shirts that say "I...'m with stupid" with the arrow pointing one way or the other in pairs with the arrows pointing at each other. Nah… bad idea. Real morons wouldn't know if they should be on the right or the left. (I meant right or left physically, we know all morons are on the left politically.) But enough of this, you want to know who the morons are.

Today's prize goes to the doctors roaming through the protesters in Madison Wisconsin handing out phony medical excuses. What makes these allegedly highly educated professionals eligible for this prestigious award? Well, as you know, you really have to work at it. One bad decision might be called foolish. Two could be thought of as stupid. Three or more and were talking championship moron material. So here we go!

First with the obvious, they were falsifying medical records. And these do qualify as medical records. Plus they become part of an employee's personnel file. I've even heard that in just about every state this is a crime

Their second moronic act was violating medical ethics. Now I know ethics classes are incredibly boring but you do have to stay awake for at least part of it, after all it may come in handy when the moron side of your brain comes out of hiding. Not only that, unethical behavior in your chosen career field could just limit you in the future. (Were any of us ever that young and stupid, or for that matter, old and stupid?) . I mean what’s next? Doctors wearing sandwich signs that read “get your free oxycontin scrips here”?

Third, they did all of this in public with video cameras rolling no less. I mean if you're going to risk your career and possibly be charged with a crime wouldn't you tend to want to do that in private? (Speaking of “in private”, I wonder what else they’ve done with the camera on? And don’t buy that “it was for anatomy class” excuse.) Things are really starting to snowball aren’t they?

The fourth piece of evidence is that they would jeopardize years of education and hard work to perform this great "community service". Not only that, they have possibly thrown away the untold thousands of dollars their parents invested in them. Do they not care about their parents old-age pensions? Isn't that what this whole protest is about, pensions?

But what tipped the scales here like a ton of bricks was their terrible fashion sense. Who wears lab coats in public anyways? And as long as were talking about fashion what about their so-called "patients"? Did you see anyone in a hospital gown? If you had then it wouldn't have been just the doctors making complete asses of themselves.

So there you have it. The Moron of the Day for this Monday, have a wonderful evening and above all don't get sick. I’ve heard there’s a real doctor shortage everywhere but the Wisconsin State Capital Building.

IRONY ALERT "I want to know whose a... to kiss"

Who can forget Obama’s classic line “I want to know whose ass to kick” while oil was pouring into the gulf last June. Well here we are in January with gas prices shooting up and no end in sight, crude prices rising over 30 percent in the last four months while the world is awash in oil, and… silence. Maybe I missed it. Has Obama asked again “whose ass do I kick”? I didn’t think so.

So what has Obama done to secure our energy supply? Well he’s banned drilling in the offshore waters of our country and we now have less domestically produced oil and those oil rigs have moved on to friendlier countries. But at least we won’t have leaks in the gulf anymore… what’s that?... Russians and Cuban’s are drilling there instead!... then who does he kick when they have a leak? And then he closed off huge tracts of Alaskan land to drilling in order to save the Polar bears (without oil rig workers what are the Polar bears going to eat?) And just last week he had his EPA rescind an already approved permit for a new coal mine, but only after the mine owners had already made the investment to harvest the coal (keep this up and in ten years kids won’t even know what a “coal miner’s daughter” is). That’s sure to scare off any new mine development and help us achieve energy independence.

So what’s his energy plan? Well it’s green energy of course! And why do they call it “green” energy in the first place. Because it’ll cost all of us a lot more green. But Obama said he’s going to make us the green energy leaders… what’s that?... China is the leader in green energy equipment… and they’re smart enough to make the machinery but not use it… they just sell it to us so they have more oil for their own country and economy… that’s pretty smart. Too bad Obama didn’t think of that one! By the way, don’t you wish you had a gallon of gas for every time a Democratic governor said they were going to make their state the leader in green energy production.

Does green energy have a future? Maybe, but it’s way in the future. This is the United States of America. It’s not part of the American psyche to pay a lot more and get a lot less. To prove their point, the “global warming”, “climate change”, or whatever they call themselves this week fear mongers have found their true champion in Barack Obama. Finally they have a president who, if they can’t make their green energy more cost effective than carbon fuels and nuclear power, is more than happy to artificially inflate prices to make their economic case all while bringing our gross domestic product down to say that of… well… Kenya for example.

I’d like to stay and talk about how Obama and Company are trying to enact “cap and trade” through executive fiat but I want to be first in line at the gas station when they start rationing.

The author of this letter had to get it off his chest. There are so many of us that can relate to his feeling, that's why I posted it here.

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.

I am a soon to be 65 year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966. I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike. I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black. I served the country that I love in Vietnam , as my son did in the Middle East . I was awarded two bronze stars. I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.

You obviously haven’t read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCullough’s book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.

I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your “public service”. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband’s investments both on and off shore. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you, Harry Reid, and now our President. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payer’s expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States ; you only subtract therefrom.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband’s canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee.

Don’t ever use the term “un-American” again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60’s and 70’s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American. But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country. You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.

I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many.
