It affects slot by, being a very useful rule of thumb.

It's simply a usual rule that we take pictures before you take your shot visually divide to your picture vertically and horizontally thirds

You want the action surprise, the major part of the picture to be in one of those intersections an intersection is just where the vertical and horizontal lines meet, space where they make a + or an X.

this scientifically for a reason I cannot explode in makes you pictures more interesting, more unique, more appealing, not so bland. Like I said before, it is not a rule set into stone. It's just something known as helpful to follow that makes it easy.

Here is how it works

This is one of my photos i did back in december. Not a great shot but decent. Now the rule of three in action

Note: The black arrows are secondary, just to point out some of the interesting parts of this picture

As you see the major focus of this picture was the sun, which was put in the top right intersection point.

Exceptions to the rule: Anything

Here is my example

Thoughts, suggestions, Religious hate mail for an unknown reason all welcome and encouraged, maybe not the last one.

Hope to hear from you!

Amazing Photoshop Tutorial: Airbrushing

Hola

I'm going to give you links some very effective photoshop href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1290/1396283128_0cd071846f.jpg?v=0">

Rating Good: definitely a effective airbrush technique if your running short on time or your not into the heavy duty 2 hour+ airbrushing to get it perfect.

only problem i have with it is it tells you to use the "apply image tool", which it forgets to tell you where it is.

Image > Apply Image Tool

also, follow what he has written down. Not whats in the image for the settings.

2. The "Best airbrush" tutorial

Rating Amazing: Wow, this one covers it all, airbrushing, color correction, changing eye color & adding noise to make it more realistic

Plus: this particular way is great if you don't want to destroy the background of other objects
Downside: Time consuming, i spent about an hour and a half on this one. Where as i spent 15-20 minutes on the quickly airbrush

Here is my go at it

All airbrushing is removing blemishes, duplicating the layer and blurring and "painting the skin on

Yet again if you thought you learned something from this post, or it was a little over the top for you no worries. i recommend that you take a look at "How to Master Photoshop in 2 Hours"

Thoughts, suggestions, Religious hate mail for an unknown reason all welcome and encouraged, maybe not the last one.

Hope to hear from you!

Review of my reviews

Aloha,

I thought i would start this project out with a little explanation on what i plan on writing about. Thought the title might help you there. Ok ok, ill keep the sarcasm down

Its going to be a blog about photography products which will including ups and downs, though i shall mostly be pointing out the ups because if a product had much downs what would be the point of reviewing it. and i shall toss in as many guides/tutorials and free stuff as i possibly am able.

On another side note i plan on focusing on digital photography and aspects shrouding it than film, and the reason for that is being i can hit a great audience for digital since it is used more than film in our day and age.

I'll touch on film everyonce and a while so don't you runaway if your a hardcore film fan. I shall still have content for you.

I plan on reviewing a product at least once a week.

Thoughts, suggestions, Religious hate mail for an unknown reason all welcome and encouraged, maybe not the last one.

Hope to hear from you!
