Julia Roberts in Elie Saab Couture
Look at her legs! Her hair! Her skin! Her dress! Julia stunned as usual.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Julia Louis Dreyfus in Carolina Herrera
Her hair is super cute on her, and the patent leather detail add something fresh to the fairly simple dress.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Lucy Liu in Zac Posen
The detail! Just a beautiful gown...
I would've preferred a more interesting earring choice or maybe a bright lip.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Kerry Washington in Prada
A baby 4 months old now, Kerry is looking really great. Loving the new hair, the makeup, the seaming of the dress...funky and beautiful.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Gwen Stefani in such an opposite look from last night's VMA story.
She looked great both night - so beautiful. Her top and skirt, Versace, is made from Swarovski crystals, so it's super heavy. And she was inspired by the designer and had her hair straightened like Donatella. LOVE the makeup on her.

Source: Getty / Jason Merritt

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves in Zuhair Murad
They both look so gorgeous. This dress shows how "perfect" her body is, and he stands out in the blue and black combo.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Heidi Klum in Zac Posen
Beautiful coral color on her skin tone and golden hair color, and the dress fits her like a glove.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Alicia Quarles
So flattering on the chest, I think Alicia looks like a Hollywood superstar in this unique gown. The deep v is beautiful on her chest, and the color choice perfect. LOVE this look.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Giuliana Rancic in a Gustavo Cadile gown
The first time I saw her blond hair, I wasn't sure, but made into a sleek long bob and parted down the middle, I am now loving this bright look on her. But when I stared at her on TV, I couldn't stop staring at her gown. The sharp cuts and large train - oh my gosh gorgeous. Loving the red pop (with a little purple) on her too - so different for her.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Viola Davis in Escada
I am LOVING the bright blue on Viola! And this neckline is perfect on her body type.

Jeff Vespa/WireImage

Mindy Kaling in Kenzo
What a fun look for Mindy! The silver vertical lines are flattering and giving her a bit more of an edge.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Kristen Wiig in Vera Wang
I saw Kristen and thought, "angelic," heaven-like...
White is a tough color to wear, especially in satin, and she looks HOT.
I love the addition of a black tee-strap heel too - goes with the smokey eye and unexpected.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Cat Deeley in Burberry
When I saw Cat, I was so glad to see her also looking so angelic. The beautiful hairstyle and flowing gown , the multiple bracelets, and the big smile = perfection.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Hayden Panettiere in Lorena Sarbu
The sheer top allows for the sexiness without the possible spillover, and the mom-to-be looked radiant and so happy. I have never seen her look more beautiful.

Source: Getty / Michael Buckner

Louise Roe in Monique Lhuillier
This floral gown and pop of a brightly colored strappy high heel caught my attention right away. The fit was perfection. I hate the hair on her, and I would've preferred a drop earring or little bit of lip color when it comes to makeup and hair though. Super fun dress!!

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Jessica Pare
The hair, makeup, and dress with peep-toe heels is a bag full of sexiness.

Michelle Monaghan in Giambattista Valli Couture
I almost didn't recognize the light-haired Michelle in white silk. Beautiful no matter what her hair color, she glows, and her metallic gold strappy heels shine right along with her.

Jason Merritt/Getty Images

Natalie Dormer
Young bombshell alert with her sultry eyes
Love the seaming on this dress...

Alexandra Daddario
I could not stop staring at her body when they turned the camera around Alexandra. Hollywood glamour - HOTNESS.

Credit: Steve Granitz/WireImage

Laura Prepon in Gustavo Cadile
LOVE the super dark hair on her with the green gown. Would've liked a slight smile...

Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP

Allison Janney in Nicolas Jebran
Bright velvet - love it on her! And the knot is so unique and special. She looked GREAT.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli Couture
Looking super skinny (making me nervous), I was hesitant to speak on this, but I will speak on the fashion in this blog post. I am obsessed with her ball gown. The floral under the tulle was such a great idea. And I liked the yellow (been obsessed with yellow a lot lately), but not necessarily with this blush color or her skin tone. Maybe a bright emerald green instead as the bright pop...or hot pink...

Christine Baranski
Now THIS is how a classy, stylish lady over 50 dresses - WOW. PERFECTION.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Keke Palmer in Rubin Singer
Although I would've preferred a bit more lip again, this dress on her body, again, is ridiculous. PERFECTION. The lines on this gown were created by a special designer, and it fit her like a glove. Perfect shape on her body.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano
Loving the hair colors on sarah, and the makeup looked beautiful with the full skirt (You know I love a good brow especially). I would've liked a bit more of a sparkle on the ears, but wow is she beautiful - she doesn't need much.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Another by Christian Siriano, Teyonah Parris stunned in a bright number. The hair was so great with the stripes.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Kaley Cuoco in Monique Lhuillier, kissing husband, Ryan Sweeting
Princess and Prince, hopefully about to live happily ever after in style ;)

Credit: Steve Granitz/WireImage

Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian
She looks amazing in Lorena Sarbu.

Kevork Djansezian/NBC/NBC via Getty Images

Kit Harington looked dapper. The bow tie was especially angled and great with his hair.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Love this look!
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita
Just cool!

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Matt Bomer in Tom Ford
Handsome, how a Hollywood star looks right before all of the women scream his name and he realizes he is now a star.

Summer Fruit Salad

2014-08-25T21:56:00.004-04:00

What will YOU add today?

From blackberries to peaches to nectarines, plums, grapes and blueberries, I made this summer fruit salad for my household. But what will you choose to ad to yours?

VMA Hotness

2014-08-24T23:55:00.002-04:00

The VMA's are known for sexiness, risk, and some fun with fashion. So let's get started!

trends:

all black

black leather

bandeau tops with high waisted bottoms

silver sparkles

fit and flare - nipped waist

cutouts

Black leather was a huge trend (and who loves leather more than me?!)
Ariana Grande wearing Moschino and her usual high ponytail. If she were any younger or older, it might not work, but at 21, Ariana is experimenting and showing the world she is HERE.

Miley Cyrus showed up to the red carpet in a very subtle way compared to her looks of 2013. She wore all black Alexandre Vauthier Couture and neutral makeup. I would've like a little accessory, but she looks great. It's a fun, stylish look for the VMA's.

Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for MTV

I would totally wear this - not too over the top but unique enough.

Lucy Hale in cutout leather:

Jason Merritt/Getty Images for MTV

Chanel Iman - fit like a glove and her curves were great in this dress.

This supermodel obviously looks good most days, but wow - tonight's edgy look brought her to the next level.

Jordan Dunn with a similar long bob:

Silver Sparkles was another trend

Jennifer Lopez looked AMAZING in a cutout dress by Charbel Zoe with Jimmy Choo pumps.

I think her makeup drowned her out a bit and was too pale, but the body ROCKED.

Iggy Azalea looked stunning in a unique Versace gown. She loves showing her hips, and those hips don't lie in this dress. My son was even staring at her as they showed her gown on TV, zooming on the detail. Her makeup looked pretty, though I would've liked her to add a little bit more as well, even just more mascara.

Getty

Kesha - what has happened to her in the past year or so? She has figured out how to continue her rainbow hair while looking beautiful and classy instead of trashy. Beautiful.

Other standouts

Chloe Grace Moretz was so fun in an embellished Louis Vuitton top and usually unflattering pink pants that looked great on her petite frame.

Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for MTV

Nicki Minaj is proving she can wear high fashion in a not-so-extravagant way (like she used to) and she will still stand out. She looked sexy! Perfect dress length for her body. And I loved the texture detail.

Gwen Stefani wore her line, L.A.M.B., and showed off her thin frame. She always manages to look new and fresh, and I loved the color on her.

And now to the....
WORST
Rita Ora
So disappointed! Rita often times looks so good, so fashionable, so RIGHT NOW. But tonight, she looked like she got dressed in the limo, and she just looked trashy.

This is just getting desperate:
Kim Kardashian with her messy hair.

Love it on the model. It looks angular and so cool on the model, but so sloppy on Kim, who also looks like she doesn't know how else to get attention than to show her breasts lately.

And how old do they think they need to act/dress?

I do like Kendall's though, but she is a model and is not overtly sexy. Kylie, however, wow - looking at least 10 years older than she is and it's so inappropriate - just have fun with your age!

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Becky G.
I don't know who she is but when I saw this I had to post and just say - NO thank you.

Nina Dobrev is one of the most beautiful people in my opinion, and she looks here like she just threw something on that doesn't suit her skin color in the slightest and was bought off the rack. This is the VMA's!

Katy Perry
We get it, but I don't...it's not cute and it's what...13 years later? Couldn't you just be original?

Steve Granitz—WireImage/Getty Images

Her style inspiration:

Jason Merritt/LUCY NICHOLSON/Getty Images

Demi Lovato
I actually love the red on her, and I get that she was trying to look glamorous. However, her breasts were taped strangely and the purse just looks too prom with it.

Amber Rose - I can't...I just can't...

Sarah-Hyland
I think Sarah is GORGEOUS and that's what bothers me about this outfit so much. It's so unflattering to her body. Loving her dark makeup with light hair though - a cool change for her for the VMA's.

Jerome Jarre
I would get it if he were trying to be part of the silver sparkly group, but the pants just don't fit!!

And that's all for the VMA's this year. Lots of good and lots of bad. Until next!

White Lace

2014-08-10T21:02:00.003-04:00

Kourtney Kardashian wore this to the Women's Health Party Under the Stars in Bridgehampton, N.Y yesterday. While it may be getting negative press, I try to look at what it COULD'VE been. It could've looked super cute in black! What a hottie maternity jumpsuit! But the white lace? Never tight please!

I mean, with all of the negative talk, why is no one talking about her tight body during pregnancy? She looks healthy and great! She's very into organic and health foods, so it's not a surprise, but she looks great!

Gluten and dairy free pizza? YES!

2014-08-05T21:49:00.001-04:00

If you like thin crust, you'll probably like this. It's a veggie pizza with a little bit of tomato sauce and dairy-free cheese. I enjoyed the veggie selection as well. Give it a try!

This gluten and dairy free option is sure to hit the spot. I cut a portion and added veggies on the side for a full meal.

Think about what you want!

2014-07-27T23:10:00.002-04:00

"You become what you think about most, but you also attract what you think about most."

"The Secret" - p8

Positive thinking = positive occurrences

I made a major effort to think positively over the past month, even more than usual, and wow - what a great month it has been! Put that positive energy out there.

examples from the past month:

* telling myself that it's not even an option to think that there might be traffic and just being happy and moving towards my destination

Whenever someone would say, "Oh, I hope you don't run into traffic" or asking when the traffic will start when in the car together, literally the traffic would start seconds later

* telling myself I would make changes within business this month without much stress, and significant changes were brought to me soon after

* not worrying about meeting a significant other since it can be difficult, and I've met many people this month

An interesting example with my son:
It's so cool to see my son starting to understand this at only 5 years old. Whenever we play the games, "Trouble" or "Candy Land," he says things like, "I hope I don't get 'kicked off' or pick the card, 'the cupcake' and then what happens? Exactly what he said he didn't want was what happened right after. He has heard me tell him to believe in himself and believe he will get the color etc. that he wants, but never to this extent.

I showed him another side tonight. We were playing Candy Land and after one round of me winning and him saying he didn't want to pick certain cards and then getting them, I told him to focus only on what he wanted. I said, "Don't worry about the cupcake. We're going to pick that one soon so we don't have to move backwards." It happened right after. Then I said, "And we're going to pick the ____ (another picture card that is in beginning of the board game) next so don't worry." That happened soon after. I said, "Isn't it amazing that putting your energy towards good things can work so well?" He said, "Yea - super cool!"

Believe in yourself, your actions, and your energy.

And believe in others and their ability to be great.

Chrissy Teigen
Are you loving her wig as much as I am on her? She reminds me of a Barbie here, but not the type of person who wants to look like Barbie so they have so much work done, but more of a natural Barbie, who is just fun to dress and brush her hair :)

Just another fruit salad?

2014-07-27T22:36:00.002-04:00

My son and I had fun adding organic shredded coconut and organic coconut pieces to our wonderful summer fruit salad. Making small changes can change the entire taste! Have fun with food, and say, "YUM!"

Farmer's Market

2014-07-22T23:14:00.001-04:00

I have been LOVING the Farmer's Market on Saturday's this summer. The fresh veggies and new, interesting foods to try have been so fun!

I bought a way-too-expensive Kombucha, but it was awesome, with red turmeric and a fresh brewed taste. Delish. $18 for a big bottle isn't something I can do all of the time, but to enjoy such a nutrient-rich, tasty drink over a few days with my son was a unique experience for the both of us and very enjoyable.

I bought purple potatoes last week and wow were these the brightest potatoes I have ever seen!

no filter - amazing purple

I bought super spicy raw cashews and brought them to work. Half were gone later that day because everyone loved them. I bought some more and brought them as a gift so everyone could share in the tasty nutrient-rich snacks.

Hmm...what shall I look forward to this weekend?

Sephora

2014-07-22T23:06:00.001-04:00

Do you ever go to Sephora and just try a bunch of makeup on your hands? Umm...no?

Well, that's my deal.

I used to work in makeup for Victoria's Secret Beauty and this is just what I did ALL OF THE TIME! So, I got used to it and found it extremely helpful in figuring out colors and textures.

And...this is what my hands look like after 20 minutes in Sephora.

It started out like this...

and turned to this...

RELAX....

Wow - brunch!

2014-07-16T23:00:00.002-04:00

Weekends are a time to relax, to enjoy a different meal than those made for rushing each morning. Last weekend, I made organic eggs (1 egg and 2 egg whites), added some avocado and a gluten free waffle, and allowed a handful of superfoods and dairy free chocolate chips to melt with the warm waffle. The blueberries were a nice added flavor.

Egg Rolls

2014-06-29T20:48:00.002-04:00

I saw these and thought they seemed like a great alternative to egg rolls from the Chinese restaurant - gluten free too!

I wasn't a huge fan of the inside, but my son really enjoyed them. Let me know what you think!

2014-06-27T23:25:00.000-04:00
