Lord of Reason Official Music Video Re Posted

YouTube has forced us to reupload our video after some kind of error we have been accused of using bots for views. This of course is not the case, but it's their site and their rules. Please enjoy this video again and share it with your friends to help us regain some of our plays we once had.

Thanks!

Blast From the Past! Death On Wheels Video!

info@aprimitiveevolution.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 26 Aug 2013 10:47:00 -0700

Perhaps we had better start from the beginning... Our first music video as "A Primitive Evolution" aka A.P.E. was for our song "Death On Wheels" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJtAkjAOIv0&feature=share&list=PLB60A325D8C744B1A

Going even further back the late Martin Streek recorded a VO for us for a special appearance of this song for a playdead cult fashion show at L'Oreal Fashion week. Check that version out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2SokjUDSnc&list=PLB60A325D8C744B1A&index=8

Did you know? Part 1

info@aprimitiveevolution.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 29 May 2013 09:42:00 -0700

Did you know, in SUCK The Movie our old jam space at Playdead Cult is featured as the recording studio where "The Winners" meet up with Victor (Iggy Pop)

http://scarina.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/iggy.jpg

Victor shares some advice with Joey (Rob Stefaniuk from the band Mamabolo who played our album release) on the same counter that we formed A.P.E.

If you watch the scene you will see a bunch of gear and the "EPH" of Steph's name on her bass case. This space is also now Mushroom Studios and is where we recorded our album "The Prize." More post on our ridiculous intertwined universe coming soon.

Writing New songs! Vinyl and Motorhead!

info@aprimitiveevolution.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 3 Jan 2013 09:51:00 -0800

I'm so happy to say that Steph, Stu and myself have been writing new songs.
We went through about 20 hours of jam sessions recorded on phones and camera's and have compiled 6 new tracks that we have already begun pre production on.
We are hoping to release this as an EP this summer!

Working Titles for new songs:
Decades Passing
We Are the Echo
I Don't Follow
Skeleton
The Drones
The Haunting

We are also thinking about recording a quick version of our recent cover of "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead. After we watched the documentary on Lemmy we couldn't stop jamming that tune. People seem to be diggin it. :) Perhaps we'll make a quick Youtube from the jam space soon!

Also you can now get our Vinyl release directly from our website music page We lowered the price cause shipping is so high!

Samples of demos to come!
Rock on!
~Brett

There currently is an ad on my page that says: No Studio? No Skill? With This Software blah blah blah... Have we over-saturated the internet with garbage? Is it too easy to make music now? Technology vs Talent. What do you think?
