My last download for this Holiday set will be some time this week as well. I'll be making tags & sticker/labels per your request.

OH, and check out Caro's project using the Holiday images from previous downloads! She printed them on fabric!

Caro has a really awesome tutorial for the project (which I'd like to try for myself too). Here's the English version via Google Translate.

Tip: You can also print these using heat transfers using your own printer.

I had gotten a number queries on if I would make some swatches available to be printed for fabric through Spoonflower. The images I have in my blog are not high resolution (except for the downloads) and not in repeat swatch form. But, I will make high resolution printer-ready repeats available soon for personal use. I'd like to test them out myself first, and I'll post the results once I receive it.

I'm not exactly sure when the best time to pick acorn is. But my husband and I took our dogs out for a walk Sunday morning, and we found some rather interesting looking seeds. Some of them looked like buttons!

Downloads-12"x12", Holiday: Part 1

Hello!

I was going to put everything together in one big kit, with all the papers, elements and brushes all together, but I couldn't wait and decided to offer the downloads in parts. It's November, after all. So here's the first part of a series of holiday download sets! Yay!

This downlaod conatins 6 (six) 12"x12" standard 300dpi files. I am assuming that most of us have printers that can accommodate 8.5"x11" papers, so you can crop the downloads to fit--unless you have a wide format printer of course. You can print these on card stock that your printer can accommodate, or you can use them for your digital projects.

As always, all downloads are for personal use only. Additional terms and conditions listed at the foot of this blog.

As a side note...

It is about a quarter 'til 12am, and I shall be ending this day with much optimism and gratitude. Gratitude because I live in a country where no matter who you are, where you come from, whatever your dreams may be, you can potentially make good on those dreams and hopes and aspirations. And I think that this is an immensely wonderful thing.

Tonight is a shining example of that, and I'm very happy to have witnessed it, and to have been part of it. No matter where we are on certain issues, there is no denying that this is a very positive step, a turning point in our nation's history. And I am just in awe right now.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day! Take care.

Downloads-Brush Lace Corners, Limited (CLOSED)

I'm trying a different download this week--Photoshop brushes! Yay! The file contains 1 (1 bottom left, 1 top right) set of corner brushes, as seen above, and is compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS. IF you do not have CS, or if your Photoshop is not compatible with mine, I have included the png files so you can upload the brushes yourself. Just do the following:

Open the file, ie, brush-corners1.png and/or brush-corners2.png>go to your brush tool>edit>define brush preset>press "OK", and you're all set!

You can adjust the size of the brush, choose whatever color you'd like from the tools section of your Photoshop.

Terms and conditions are found at the footer of my blog.

This is a LIMITED download, and will be up until Sunday (11/9/08) of next week. I am still testing this, and I'd appreciate feedback, so please email me if you have any questions, comments, etc.

I had gotten a few requests for roses since I posted those index card downloads. But I was also feeling like drawing lacy things, so I combined both. I think I might do doilies, lace and roses the entire week.

I've been meaning to write about Jude's project, Do Not Leave Unattended-Random Dispatches from the Blogosphere as I think it's quite awesome, to say the least. It's a beautiful collection of journal pages collected in several notebooks from various people. If you'd like to contribute, you can read more about it at Jude's site.
