The monthly card kit for November features the stamp set "Le Jardin Botanique" and the "Chocolate Chip Corduroy Buttons" accessory.

Pictured here are two card designs.  With your kit, you'll get all the consumable supplies to create six of each of these two card designs for a total of twelve cards (with envelopes).  Purchase the kit for $20 (plus postage, if applicable), and receive two additional full color "alternative" card designs you can make with the combined contents of your kit.  In addition, you'll receive step-by-step instructions on how to complete each of the four card designs.

One of my nephews was married yesterday.  Here is the card I made to accompany the gift for he and his bride ...

Stamps:  Oval All

Paper:  Cardstock - Lavender Lace, Old Olive, Going Gray, Whisper White; Textured Cardstock - Elegant Eggplant

Ink:  Classic - Elegant Eggplant

Tools & Accessories:  Big Shot; Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates; Punches - Scallop Oval, Large Oval, 3/16" Corner Rounder; Pretties Kit; SNAIL; Stampin' Dimensionals

Once again, my color choices were dictated by the gift wrap and ribbon provided by Bed, Bath & Beyond (see previous shower gift post here).  However, this time it was a gray, floral gift bag (think garbage bag, but prettier) so I added the gray scalloped oval to tie that color in.  And I thought the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate was similar in style to the "best wishes" image from the Oval All stamp set so I wanted to use that, too.  Otherwise, I thought the card would be much too plain.
