From director Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) comes the new action thriller PIRANHA 3D. Every year the population of sleepy Lake Victoria explodes from 5,000 to 50,000 for Spring Break, a riot of sun and drunken fun. But this year, there's something more to worry about than hangovers and complaints from local old timers; a new type of terror is about to be cut loose on Lake Victoria. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the areas new razor-toothed residents. The film stars Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl), Steven R. McQueen (The Vampire Diaries), Elisabeth Shue, Jerry OConnell, Ving Rhames, Adam Scott, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, and Kelly Brook.

Julie Forester (Elisabeth Shue) is the no-nonsense sheriff of a small town which goes crazy with Spring Break, when hundreds of university students take a break from their daily routine in order to swim, suntan, have fun, drink and try to make out with somebody else at the shores of Lake Victoria. Matt Boyd (Richard Dreyfuss) has just died, having been eaten alive by the piranhas. But these are not normal piranhas. They have been freed by a small earthquake after millions of years, so they are much more agressive that their Amazone counterparts.

Julie insists that her older son takes care of his younger siblings, but unbeknowst to her, he pays them so that they would stay at home on their own while he goes out in the expensive yacht called the Barracuda with the girl he likes and some more young people. The owner of the yach is Derrick Jones (Jerry O'Connell) a stupid inmoral young man which happens to be very wealthy. Derrick has planned the trip in order to record the tits of the girls. Jake is the in-promptu cameraman of the trip, and he records them while they are swimming and diving completely naked.

Julie finds Boyd's corpse while he is with Deputy Fallon (Ving Rhames). They way the gory corpse has been bitten is mysterious, so they'll try investigate it futher. They dive in the area surrounding and one of their party is killed. They rescue the remains and capture one of the piranhas, and they decide to show the fish to Mr Goodman (Christopher Lloyd) Even when at an aquarium, the piranha tries to bite them.

Meanwhile, Jake Forester (Steven R. McQueen) is having fun at the Barracuda. When his mom calls, he says that he and his siblings Laura and Zane (Brooklynn Proulx and Sage Ryan) will watch TV all day. Meanwhile, his younger brother and sister have gone out to the lake in a small boat. They are left stranded in another side of the island because the tide has taken away their boat. One of the piranhas run after Laura while she is half inside the water because she has cut one of her feet, but she leaves the water just before the hungry piranha arrives, so that she remains unconscious about the rist they are taking.

Some time later, Jake sees them asking for help. Derrick cares only about recording a girl (Gianna Michaels) doing sky-diving naked, and tells Jake off because he isn't recording her especially when she is getting wet in the water. Jake threatens him with the fact that he's the son of the sheriff. As Derrick has been taking coke, he gets serious immediately.

Some officers try to tell the party-goers that they must leave the water, but they don't pay attention. They just jump into the water and keep on dancing and drinking.

Derrick tells the Barracuda captian (Gregory Nicotero) to go and rescue the children. Jake takes Laura and Zane aboard and the boat gets stuck in the rocky soil.

The piranhas attack by hundreds the stupid young people and a general panic ensues when it's too late and some of them have already been killed. When the survivors are out of the water, Jake phones his mother to tell her that the Barracuda is sinking. She runs with a small boat in their rescue. She throws a bit of rope to go to the Barracuda in the rocks.

Kelly (Jessica Szohr) is imprisoned in one of the cabin. Kelly is Jake's love interest. Julie wants everybody to leave the Barracuda and then she'll come back for Kelly. The piranhas can jump a little out of the water so they kill another of the girls but Zane, Laura and Julie reach the safety of the smaller boat. The pole to which the rope has been tied breaks, but it gets stuck in some of the railings of the Barracuda.

Jake's got a plan to rescue Kelly, who's inside the cabin hitting the jumping-out-of-the-water piranhas with a frying pan.

Jake throws Derrick's half-dead gory body to distract the piranhas. He swims tied to the rope to the cabin where Kelly's in. Then, he tells his mother and Fallon to pull them out. The boat does not work, so there are the typical seconds of emotion until Kelly and Jake are pulled out. All the piranhas follow them but the explosion Jake has created kill the piranhas anyway while Jake and Kelly are pulled out of the water and into the boat unharmed.

Julie talks to Goodman by radio and he tells them that the piranha she had left with him at his home is not fully developed, it's a baby. Everybody hears it and Fallon asks, "The babies? So where are the parents?" At that moment a huge piranha the size of half a peson jumps out of the water and eats him.

It's been quite a while since I updated my blog. I was away for awhile. After I got back, was busy looking for a new place to move to. Then, after moving to the new place have to get internet connected before I can start using the net again. And the connection took about 3 weeks. Gosh!!! Over the months (probably years?? Lol...) that since I started this blog, I've been very proud that this blog is still surviving (as there's a lot of times I'm thinking to give up... >.<)

The next day, me and Simone are moving to our cousin's home as it's more convenient for us to get to the Nuffnang "Blue Christmas" at Terra Rossa which is at Melbourne CBD. Unfortunately, while we were moving to our cousin's home (with our luggage and laptop, of course!!!), it started to rain like 'cats and dogs'. In addition to that, we got down 1 tram stop too far and had to walk all the way back. By the time we arrived at my cousin's home, we are all 'wash up'. Hahaha... Therefore, we went for a warm shower straight away and get ready for the Nuffnang "Blue Chrismas".

These are the "blue blue" set that I'm going to where for the "blue blue Christmas". ^.^

Feel like having Thai food for lunch today. So, after met Kun near the Domain tram station; he bought us to Isthmus of Kra which is just nearby.

We ordered two dishes. The first one is Venison Wok-singed (Chicken version): $26.50.

Then, around 6-ish we went to meet Jin at China Town for dinner. After looking around, we decided to go to the Sichuan Restaurant for some spicy food. ^.^

Chef's recommendation?

Spicy beef slices pot: $24.

Drunken chicken (Top of the menu): $12

We order a tofu with crab meat as well (Top left hand side). Due to the size factor, it's hard to see what's written on the menu and I purposely underline it in red. It's written tofu with crab meat. And look at the next photo... Can't even find a slice of crab meat. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!

This is it. They should change it to vegetarian tofu or tofu with mix vegetables instead of tofu with crab meat. Ish... LIAR!!! And it cost us $18 for this crap.

Melbourne (Part 2)

After Kun met us at the Domain tram station, we walked back home to meet another friend's of them (Jin) which is also Kun's housemate while Kun can get changed as well. We waited nearly an hour for Jin to get home and get ready. Then, we all headed to Lygon Street (some sort like little Italian) to meet my cousin, Boon Hong and her gf, Emily for dinner.

What else do you expect to eat at Lygon Streeet other than Italian food? Italian food would usually means either pasta or pizza. Haha....

This is my cousin's pasta (Ravioli in tomato sauce).

After dinner, Boon Hong and Emily went back home. While the night still young; me, Simone, Jin, and Kun walked around Lygon Street to find the famous ice cream shop that mentioned by Simone's friend about the delicious durian ice cream. It didn't took us long to find it. However, there were a long 'Q' (believe it or not... )

Oh no!!! Nearly sold out. Quick, quick grab one before it runs out.

Pheww... Got it! We all had the 3 flavours in a cup. It cost about $5 each. I picked durian, coconut and grean tea flavours.

Kun is too shy for the camera. So, he offered to be the cameraman. Here we posed with our delicious ice creams. L-R: Jin, Simone, and me.

On the way home, we went to buy some wine. I taught Kun how to select the good wine and suggested one. He just said, "Ok." and grab it. Then, I saw another one and think it not bad either. He just nodded and grab it. I then asked if he tried the berry taste sparkling wine before or not. And he just grab one of that as well. Gosh... I had to stop suggesting or even asking. Or else we are going to end up buying the whole liquor shop home. Hahaha....

Therefore, we ended up with 3 bottles of wine: 2 bottles of red wine and 1 bottle of sparkling wine.

Melbourne Trip (Part 1)

After work around 4am, I went to take my luggage from Regan's car before head to Grenfell Street to wait for Simone. Waited for nearly an hour and then we head straight to the airport.

After check-in, we went to Hungry Jack for breakfast as there's still another half an hour before boarding time.

Arrived at Melbourne (Tullmarine) airport.

We were told just before arrival that the weather would be 15'C and that's why we were wearing our jackets. Lol... =D

This is where the luggage claim area. How unbelievable!!! Perhaps you can see this kind of airport in a third world country... @.@

"Way Out" from the airport? Feels like way out from the jail or something... #.@

We then took SKYBUS from airport to Southern Cross (One way:$16, Return:$26) and from Southern Cross we had to take a cab to South Melbourne to meet up with Simone's friend - Kun. (Cab fare: ~$12).

Wah... Look how big is the apartment!!! This is the dining room + lounge.

Wao... Sooo comfy. Maybe because I only had one hour sleep only while in the flight for the whole day after work. ^.^

I reckon Simone feel the same as well. Look at her!!!

Since Kun was coming back for lunch later on which was about 2 hours later, we might as well stay at the apartment for a rest and had lunch together before starting to explore the nearby shops or attractions.

We walked for nearly 30 min. and arrived at City of Stonnington. We then saw a 7-11 and went in to buy a bus ticket each.

This is funny: Total Clearance - $150 per pair, NO EXCEPTION.

We arrived at Chapel Street at last... @.@ So hot and so tired.

It was somewhere at South Yarra.

Went into a shop to try on some cloth. Found 2 that I like. Can't made up my mind which one is better. So, just took some photos. Hehe... =P

This is another cloth that I tried on. However, ended up didn't get both of it. Got another 1 instead just after trying these two. ^.^

Since we bought the ticket already, instead of walking back we took a tram. Gosh... Look at my panda eyes. So exhausted...

Arrived at "Domain tram station". We suppose to head back to the apartment to meet up with Kun but body running out of battery. Can't even move a bit anymore. As Kun's office was around there, we just call him and asked him to meet us at the tram station and walked back together after.

Today I bought my 2 sisters to have dinner at another Vietnamese Chinese Restaurant at Woodville. It really was a satisfying meal especially for people that like spicy food like me.

This is their set menu board. $32 for 3 dishes. What a bargain!!!

We’ve made our parties on the same day at the same time all across Australia so we can all hook up via Twitter! Yes, there may be time differences across this huge country, but by the magic of technology it brings us all together. So feel free to bring along your notebooks, blackberries, iPhones or your gadget of choice to the party to Twitter along with the rest of Australia’s Nuffnagers!

To help us with RSVP’s we’ve set up some Facebook events for each city.

Just add yourself to the event list and while your at it, make sure to friend Nuffnang Australia too so we can all add photo’s to the pages after the event. That way we can see what blue mischief we all got up to! Dear readers,

For the next few days, there might be few changes going around on my blog. For example; the change of the URL, the title and bit and pieces of the design perhaps to suit/match the title.

At the moment, I'm trying to get the vote for my blog's new URL's name at my facebook. For those of you who have any brilliant ideas, you are more than welcome to leave me a note/comment here. The 2 URL name that I had come up with are "pingkigal" and "pinkfairy". So, either vote or new ideas/suggestions needed.

Dinner at Restaurant Tan Nyu Y.

Brought my sisters out for dinner tonight. Had no idea which restaurant to go. Simone went to one of a restaurant in Hanson Road with her friends few weeks ago. She said the food taste alright and the price was quite economical as well. But she didn't remember the address. Therefore, we had to search the address from 'google'.

As soon as we arrived, I was suprised! This was one of my favourite restaurant which had closed down about a year ago. We went in the restaurant. The restaurant looked totally different. The renovation, decoration, and the settings of the restaurant. However, the name of the restaurant is still the same. Hence, I asked one of the waiter if the restaurant is still under the same management/owner and he said yes.

Later, the owner came and have a chat with me and said she still recognized me. Eventhough, I used to went there quite often but I never thought the the owner of the restaurant will remember me (Frankly, I can't even re-call a tiny bit of her face).

We order a set dinner which include; soup of the day, and 3 dishes of your choice from the set dinner menu. Steam rice: $1.50/person.

Today was tight-ass Tuesday. Everything is cheaper on Tuesday. Regan rang me up and tell me that Nicole had inform him about having a movie night tonight. "2012"... A movie we had waited since we first saw it's trailer. Yahoooo!!!

Was my day off from work again. Was a bit bored. Nothing much to do. So, I decided to just ramble around some nearby shops. And I don't know since when had I develop this "Shopaholic" syndrome.

I used to go out for shopping the whole day without even to buy a single thing. But now? Can't even get out from the house and come back empty handed, eventhough I just plan for a window shopping. HHeellpppp!!!

Below are the stuff that I bought from just 2-3 hours rambling at ONLY 2 shops. Hahaha...

6 cook books for mom and a puzzle book for myself.

This is a whole box full of the stuff I bought from e-bay (not including some already given out as presents and a few that had been open).

3 boxes of colors napkins (Bought it because of the fancy and attractive colors, I suppose).

Today had a day off from work and thought I might just go to the city and have my PR's (permenant-resident) visa labeled in my passport. By the way, for those of you who missed the good news: my PR just got approved couple of months ago.

I had been working only on night shift for nearly a year now. So, having to wake up in the morning really kills me. What's worst? A really hot and sunny day.

Okie, okie. Back to the point. I woke up about 11am and get ready to head down to the city by train. Having to walk about 15 min. from my house to the train station start burning my skin. >.<>

Felt heaps better when I got in the immigration department as there were air-con. However, the 'Q' was quite long. There were about 15 people in front of me. Gosh!!! It tooks FOREVER!!! At last, it was my turn after nearly an hour wait. By the time I walked in front of the reception and told the receptionist what I'm after. She gave me a ticket with number and asked me to wait on the other side for my number to be called. "NOT AGAIN?" - I mumbled to myself.

Luckily, it only took about 5 min. wait before my number was displayed on the screen. After I had my passport labeled, I was so happy and excited. This feeling was exactly the same when I first got the news regarding my PR approval. How strange!!!

Soon after that, I went to find a place to have my brunch. I had nothing in my stomach since this morning. *GGrrruuu, ggrrruuu..." - Stomach was calling. Didn't want to go far. Therefore, just searching somewhere nearby. Found a korean restaurant... "CLOSED" was displayed at the entrance. I looked at the opening hours. 5 min. passed the closing time. How unfortunate that was? *DISAPPOINTED*. Looked left, looked right... Just a bakery. Nah... Bread would be the last in my list. Well, probably McDonald is the last choice before the bread. Better than starved to death. Below are what I got for $4. Not bad, huh? ^.*

This is our first gathering since Nicole had her annual leave for a month from 3rd October. That's one of the reason why there's not much update on my blog after since. Within that month, me and Regan didn't had much activities on. We just went out for shopping once at BIG W and had bought Nicole her pressies. I bought a dress as well which was on special for $20. ^.^

Nicole just got back to work last week and Regan started his one month annual leave this week. Hhhrrmmm...... WHEN'S MY TURN??? T.T Anyway, Regan picked me up around 9:15pm. Then, went straight to Nicole's before heading to Ying Chow for dinner.

Starving, tired, cripple Reggie? Lol... Why? From his morning walk plus some "GARDENING" at his backyard. That's why he can't even smile. >.<

After dinner, we went back to Nicole's house to play the "Harry Porter Cluedo" that Regan bought for Nicole's birthday pressie. Then, we were talking about the cartoons we all used to watch back in the oldies compare to most of the sh*tty one that they have now.

Among those that we found were: Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragonball Z, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, The Simpons, Darkwing Duck, Ghostbusters, etc.

It was fun. Having recall most of the old times favourites cartoon and singing those theme songs.

Instant Porridge?!?!

The other day, me and Wyn went to shop at the nearby Asian Groccery. While browsing at the instant noodle's aisle, we saw there were instant porridge as well. Therefore, we bought some to try. Tonight, me and Wyn cooked one of the instant porridge (combination flavour) for supper.

This is the combination flavour instant porridge.

And this is what's inside: The porridge oat, sesame oil, dried spring onion, flavouring, and a spoon. Lol... ^.^

The taste of the instant porridge was alright. For those of you who like porridge but lazy to cook, you can try one of these instant porridge. There are 6 flavours which include: combination, chicken, beef, shrimp, fish, and vegetarian.
