Damn son, where has the time gone? With almost five years(!) passing since our last episode you may have thought ASOT was dead but not yet! We was just hibernatin’ in the trap, waiting for the right time to come back. And given the strange and tough times we’ve all been going through, the time finally felt right. So we figured we would do whatever we could to help and bring back some light, fun, uplifting and turnt trap and bass to your in home, in car, and backyard dance floors. So we back (for now) with 100+ minutes of trap related tunes from recent times. The trap well has dried up a bit over the years making material harder to come by, but the trap never dies. Best believe we’ll do our best to keep bringing it back from the dead, one episode at a time.

Trap has come a long way since it’s recent rebirth and this week’s variety pack mix is a prime example of that featuring 32 fresh (but varied) tracks in just over 90 minutes. This is the inaugural episode of A State Of Trap, set forward with the mission to outdo every repetitious trap, trapstyle, and future trill mixtape being released. After going to a Flosstradamus show and hearing two of the same remixes at the same damn time, Spacecamp and Flashflooder decided that what the world needed was a show that highlights the latest in these evolving genres, as opposed to being constrained to the same top 20 trap anthems that every fan already knows.
