Halloween Coord

Hi lovelies!

Today, as you all know, was Halloween! Fortunately we were allowed to wear costumes at work so I was able to wear lolita all day! I must admit I wouldn't wear that wig for 9 hours straight again, but it was fun just for this once.

Here is the very simple coord I wore to work today for Halloween!
The quality isn't great, I took the picture when I came back tonight so it was dark outside. I didn,t get the time to take a picture this morning ;^^

Here a rundown of the coord:

Lolita Meeting St-Dolores 2013 and Update

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the long time without any posts! I was very busy this summer. I moved in a new appartment, then had to finish my cosplays for Otakuthon and for Comic Con. Eveything was 1 month apart so I didn't get time to sit down and write new posts. I did get some ideas though and I attended a meeting this summer too. It's the big meeting we have once a year with every lolitas from the Quebec Province. It,s been maybe 2-3 months since the meeting but I'd still like to share it with you.

So as usual we had a big meeting near St-Dolores day. We were a bit less than last year I think but it was a rainy day so I guess it explains why a bit. I planned to wear my Cherry berry bunny and tried to loose weight to fit in it... but after a while I understood that I would never be able to fit in that particular version of the dress. The place where the waist is supposed to be sits on my rib cage... I cannot loose weight from there XD So I ended up wearing my Polka dot milky-chan applique jsk. It wasn't what I wanted, but I still liked to wear that particular dress again, it brought back memories of my first meeting.

This is the picture I took before heading out for the meeting. I don't usually wear wigs, but this time I really wanted to try it out with a lolita outfit.
I didn't manage to take a fullbody picture since all my stuff was already packed for my move the next day... so no big mirror XD I can still do an outfit rundown since it'll be visible on other pictures:

Unfortunately, like I said before it was a rainy day. Of course it will never stop us to have a meeting!
The subway ride was a bit tiring and I was really happy when I arrived at the meeting station. Everyone was so beautiful again this year!

After everyone was there we went to a museum, the Musée du Château Dufresne.We took a big picture before going in though!

Everything was so beautiful inside! We visited the various rooms with a guide who explained the history of the castle. Explaining how gorgeous everything looked wouldn't be as effective as showing some pictures... so here we go!

Ok this one is kinda creepy...

After the museum visit, we went to Birks to drink tea again this year. It was as good as I remembered it from last time. While I must admit that it is expensive for an afternoon tea, I do think it is worth it!

After the tea the group split up and we went to the old port in Montreal to take a few pictures (I don't have most of them yet) and enjoy the free time we had.

With little time left, we finished the day at a bubble tea lounge in Chinatown.

It was a great meet and I look forward to the next one! I cannot attend every meet because of my job schedule, but when I can I'm very happy to go there!

Another thing I did this summer related to lolita is participating in a lolita calendar project! The teaser for my month (March) just came out today and I'm quite happy with the picture. The theme for that month was Easter/Rabbit. You can't see on the teaser picture but I'm wearing the BTSSB bunny earmuffs together with the fancy box jsk. Credit goes to sandra sunshine photographer.

Big Lolita HAUL!!!

Hi lovelies!

I'm finally ready to show you what I got on Taobao, Angelic Pretty international and Yahoo Auction!

I received my items last week but I had to take proper pictures before posting an article.

I'll start with what I got off Yahoo Auction JAPAN.
As promised I'll explain how the website works too. It's very user friendly in fact. All you need to do is create and account on buyee if you want to bid on an article. The little sign appears automatically when you look at an item. They basically ask for your info and credit card if I remember right. You need to click on the buyee option of an item to go to their version of the page and them you decide on the amount you want to bid. Once the auction is finished and you won the item (surprisingly no one bid on either of the items and I won each time) they just charge you the basic shipping inside Japan and the price of the item on your card. After a day or 2 they will have in hand your item(s) and charge you shipping to your location. Most of the time it is almost the price of the item, meaning about 1,500 - 1,700 yen in my case. I guess if you order for more the price will still stay in that range depending on the weight of the item.

The packages arrived very fast. One of my item was a ring and the funny thing is that the ring was in 3 different enveloppes... it was very awkward to open. I felt like if I was opening a matryoshka.

So here are the items I got.
Memorial cake headbow in black and Lyrical bunny ring, both from AP.
I had been searching for the full headbow for more than a year now. I have the side bow one and I really wanted to have the full one in black or blue... and I finally found it! I wore it last Sunday and it felt awesome.

Anyways, they were both in 'like new' condition, like the text stated.

Next up is the pair of socks I ordered from AP's international website. I rarely order there since it comes up quite expensive when you add up the costs, but I really wanted those socks... so yeah I ended up ordering them when they got a restock in the color I wanted. I don't really know the name of the socks, but I would guess it is something like Shy Bear OTK.

As always, the items came in a very cute pink envelope made of an AP bag. They were well packed and I had to cut the bag once again. There was a new model of sticker inside though, this is my first time coming accross this design. I did get a small AP bag inside the enveloppe though.

The socks are very pretty and I love the pompom on the back. My boyfriend told me they looked like what the animals have at the back of their feet... but hey I still find them cute and comfortable.

The next place I bought from is Taobao.
Again I'll explain how I proceeded since it was my first time trying it out.
I used a Taobao agent (shopping service in other words) called Taobaospree. I had already asked them about other items in the past but each time I had to cancel because it was more expensive then what I had planned. And again it ended up that way, but this time I wanted to go through with my order.

I ordered 2 boleros and a pair of shoes from An-Tai-Na.
The whole lot must've cost something like 120$, which was more than what I expected, again. The shipping cost from them to me was horrible. It ended up costing 60$, which I find too much for a pair of shoes and 2 light weight boleros... anyway, it was still less expensive than buying those on EGL comm I guess.

They used a fair sized box and all my items were inside the shoebox.

I ordered the shoes in size 23,5 or 24, I'm not sure. It fits tightly, but it is not uncomfortable like my boots.
Sorry for the weird socks, I forgot to change them before trying on the shoes.

The 2 boleros/cardigans came in weird sizes. I remember that the dirty pink one was a one size that could go to more than my measurements and the light pink one was in 3L, because that was my size according to their chart (it came from a gyaru store).

In the end, the dirty pink one is too small on my shoulders and the light pink one is way too large but the sleeves are too short... that's always the same story with the sleeves, even in the local sotres here. Despite that, I still find them cute. I may end up selling the long-sleeved one since it looks a bit silly on me, being too large and too short at the same time. I'm not too fond of the front and back lace either.

The last item I purchased is a Loris replica of the lyrical bunny bag from AP. I bought the replica because I didn't have time to wait for the real one to pop up on EGL or elsewhere. I need it for a meeting at the beginning of June. I will probably end up buying the real one in the future, but for now the replica is fine. I like how the quality is way better than what I expected. Having an AP vinyl bag already, I see very minor difference in quality with this one, the difference is mostly in the details. I bought it on Ebay from Girlsdorock I believe.

Little Update

Hi everyone!

It's been a long time since the last time I wrote something, I'm very sorry.
I was busy with all sort of things and kinda got away from lolita but now I'm back! I bought a lot of stuff on Taobao and yahoo auction so I'll be able to review and talk about both sites very soon. In fact, as soon as I get my items I'll write both reviews :)

I'm also working on my coord for our big annual lolita meeting and I can't wait to be there! I'll be moving in a new appartment right the next day too so it'll be a really nice and important weekend on the 8-9th of June. I need to begin to pack my stuff soon!

The only downside is that I need to lose 15 lbs (minimum) to fit in my dress and I don't seem to make big progress at the moment... if you have any advices, please feel free to tell me. Eating healthy would be fine, but money is a big obstacle towards that so I need to find a way to lose weight without spending too much on food. I wish healthy food was cheaper than bad food really... Anyways I may make some kind of journal about my progress if you are interested? It may help me get motivated too!

Secret Shop Ankle Boots review

Yes, I'm doing another review! 2 in 2 days is quite a lot for me but I did receive 2 packages almost at the same time so this is the second one.

Those boots kinda have a big story behind them. It was quite an adventure to get them.
Let me explain...

I pre-ordered these boots a year ago on http://www.clobbaonline.com/.
I chose the pink and white ones at that time. I do wish I had chosen the black ones, my taste and needs kinda changed in a whole year.

Everything that happenned wasn't the sellers fault. It was the manufacturer first. They took a whole year before beginning to produce the boots. So they were only shipped to me a month and a half ago. And as you can guess, the shipping was REALLY slow because there was some problem with Canada post at the time. So it basically took a bit more than a year to receive them.
But that isn't the shop's fault of course. They did their job and were very nice with me, answering my questions every time I had one within 24 hours.

On with the actual product now!

They look really cute. But I had forgotten that lolita boots quality is usually pretty bad compared to regular boots that you buy in stores. They're not meant to wear for a long time or in the snow. They aren't really comfortable but at least they are my size and fit me. I don,t feel really stable on these heels, I'm afraid they will break, but that might just be because I'm not used to them. I'll give them a try soon to see if they can support me correctly.

I have nothing bad to say about the bow and heart jewel, it's really cute and it's one of the reasons why I wanted those boots.

The fur is removable. But that is kind of a problem in my opinion. There isn't any zipper on the fur. You have to slide it past your foot and put the boot on, then slide it on the top of the boot. It's quite laborious and complicated. You cannot be in a hurry if you want to put them on with the fur. The fur isn,t large enough for my feet, even though the boots are the right size so I have some difficulties sliding on the fur. I don't have problems to take the fur off though.

As you can see they are from secret shop. I'm guessing the quality is very close to the original AP ones. I wouldn't pay more than what I paid for them since they aren't that good quality so I'm good with the replicas.

That,s what they look on me. I don't have the right socks on so it's a bit awkward. They are a bit big all around, but I have very narrow so it's the case with almost every shoe there is.

I do have a little complain about the fur though. I bought faux fur at the fabric shop where I work for a few bucks and wanted to compare it with the boots' fur. I'm disapointed in the fur they used for the boots It looks cheaper than what it looked like on the official picture. I really wanted a fluffy type of fur. I might remake the fur toppers and glue the bows to them. I might also add a zipper or velcro so they can be removed more easilly.

I give them a 3.5/5

I'm not including the shipping and factory delays because it wasn't the seller's fault at all.

Cnsfashion.com review - Positive

Hi lovelies!

It's been quite a long time since the last time I posted a review on here. Well today I received my jewelry order from http://www.cnsfashion.com/. I was pretty excited since today is my birthday and it was a nice gift to receive it that exact date (12/12/12 is an awesome date number don't you think?).

So on with the review!

The package arrived around a week and a half after it was posted to me. It came with a tracking, which is quite handy!

Everything arrived in a tiny tiny box. I didn't know it could fit all in there, but it did! Everything was very well packaged in journal sheets and plastic bags. A necklace even had 2 plastic bags, one for the chain and one for the pendant. Needless to say that everything made it here in one piece and in perfect shape.

I ordered 5 things from Cnsfashion. I'll review each piece separately with pictures of both the website and of my own to compare.

1. Dreamy Solomon Moon Pendant Necklace (blue)

I'm really surprised by the quality of this necklace, it is definitly good quality. The sparkle of the stones is simply beautiful. I'm happy I took the blue one, it has a bit more difference between the colors than the pink one. It's well worth its price and it even looks better than the website's picture in real because of the sparkles! The chain seems study and has some nice detailing.

2. Cute Enamel Kitten Cat Earring Necklace Set

This one is really cute and simple. I love how it came as a set with the earrings for this cheap price. After inspection, I don't see any default whatsoever. The quality is a bit lower than the Solomon necklace, but that's understandable since the price is also lower and you get earrings with the necklace. So, more for less!

3. Sweet Pave Red Crystal Heart Bow Drop Dangle Earrings

Again they are exactly like the ones on the website's picture: tiny, cute and sparkly! They are sweet and elegant at the same time, which works both for lolita or at my job. There's no stone missing and they are great quality. But I'll need to be careful with the delicate stone chain because it can tangle easily when you try to put them on. Once worn though it's not a problem.

4. Cute Critter Alligator Earring Ring Set

After earrings and necklace set, why not a ring and necklace set? I really love this one! I'm in love with those little lolita-esque alligators. The ring is big and has an elastic band as you can see on the last picture. It's really handy since it can fit a variety of sizes and it's quite comfortable for the ring's size; I could see myself wearing it at work. I usually have problems finding rings that suits my finger size, but this one is a perfect fit! Again I'm glad that this comes as a set. If there was a necklace available, I would definitely want it to complete the collection.

5. Loverly Color Rhinestone Octopus Stud Earrings

Last but not least, those pink little octopus earrings (and yes they are holding a red gun ahah). I've been eyeing those for a long time now on ebay I'm glad I finally got a pair. I do want the necklace and ring that exist too, but that'll be for another time. I know that they were originally produced by Betsey Jonhson, but I don't know if these are a replica or the real ones because the quality seems to be the same and the design is too. They are very small, cute and sparkly. This picture is taken from VERY close because they are so tiny; I'm surprised that the details are so well executed since it's hard to work with a surface that small. They're perfect if you just want a little sweetness on your ears and can't wear heavy or long earrings, which can become quite a burden in some situations.

Overall verdict

It was pleasure to deal with http://www.cnsfashion.com/. I received my items quickly and all in one piece because of the tight and individual packaging. Navigating on the website was easy and the pictures were more than accurate.

The staff was nice to me and I was quickly updated on the tracking as soon as they got it.

The prices are definitely fair, I could even say that the items are underpriced in some cases. Shipping also becomes free when you order over 15$, what more could be asked?

Overall, my experience was very pleasant and I will definitely order from them again!

Lolita Styles: Punk Lolita

Hi guys!

Today I'm finally continuing my Lolita Styles series with the Punk Lolita Style!

While I'm not really used to that style, I do know the basics of it and have friends who do dress in that style sometimes. I find it really cute and a bit rebel, I wouldn't mind trying it.
Let's take a look at the basics of this style.

The Punk style isn't that defined, it is a more creative style. You can explore and try unusual things. That's a very fun aspect of this style.

There aren't exactly rules for Punk lolita, but there still are things that come back often in coords. Usually, the dresses/skirts are shorter than usual. It is not a requirement, but it is acceptable to wear shorter skirts when dressed in Punk lolita. I've rarely seen people wear JSK or OP in punk lolita, it's often just a top and a skirt. The color combinations are usually black/red, black/purple, there can be white, yellow, green... basically you can mix black and any color. Black and pink too is a good looking combination, though a bit more on the cute side than the punk side.

Here are some color combinations examples:

As you can see, you imagination may well be the only limit to this lolita style! There are no particular prints, but some patterna that comes back often are plaid and pinstripe. There can be skull prints, cats, crosses, etc. There's absolutely no rules about it. Just put on what you think would make a great combination! As long as the different aspects of your coord fit together, your outfit will be great.

As for the top part of a Punk lolita coord, well most people wear a blouse or a cutsew/shirt. But there is always space for more creativity. It could be a tank top with a blouse or cutsew underneath... or anything else. Here are some exemples I found of tops that can be worn in Punk lolita:

A few accessories come back often. The neck ties and ties are very popular. Chains, studs, skulls, spiders, cats and crosses are seen fairly often too. I won't show spider examples though since I suffer from arachnophobia ;^^ But you can still imagine the looks of it right?

The final part of this style would be the shoes! There you can go totally crazy. High heels, platforms, creepers... anything goes.

The hairstyles usually are pretty simple for Punk lolita. Most people seem to be keeping their real hair, but that's up to you... again there's no rule about it. Just do your hairstyle like you think it wuld look good with your coord.

As for the poof of the skirts/dresses, it is preferred to keep it between small and medium. Punk lolita still keeps the bell shape, but it is a bit toned down since the skirts usually are a bit shorter and the outfit is less 'strict'.

I think that covers mostly anything about this style. The best brand for Punk lolita would be Putumayo. Most of the coords I showed in example were from their blog.

I hope this was a pretty complete view on this style.

Little life update

Hi lovelies!

I just wanted to make a quick update about my life/work. It kinda have something to do with lolita so I thought it would be good to mention the changes that happened recently in my life.

So I was working in a fast food restaurant not so long ago, but the conditions were pretty poor and I really wanted to quit. I worked there for about 2 months. I was really sad and didn't feel comfortable. I hated the fact that I couldn't take care of myself... I couldn't do my hair, couldn't put any make up on and couldn't put other clothes than the ugly uniforms (they weren't even comfortable). My legs were getting very ugly from all the time I stayed on my feet for too long and I really wanted to quit before it could get worse. In my family, every woman has problems with the veins in their legs and I know I am getting those really soon so I wanted to, at least, slow the process a bit and take care of my legs.

For all those reasons, I really had to quit. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to find a job I really wanted to get. So I am now working in a fabric store! I saw a lot of great fabrics that could make dozen of beautiful lolita dresses. I can't wait to learn more about sewing and begin to make a few pieces by myself.

So this is what I am doing at the moment. I hope I'll be able to stay in that position for a long time and get the chance to finally work more on my personal projects.

I don't know yet which style I'll talk about next, but it should be soon.

Lolita Styles: Kuro and Shiro lolita

Hi guys! Long time no see!

I was pretty busy with my job and caught a cold so I stayed a bit away from my blog. Now I'm back with my lolita styles posts. There's quite a few that I didn't talk about yet.

So the ones I want to talk about today are Shiro and Kuro lolita. Shiro might be associated with Guro, but I will put this one in a different post later on since I think there is enough to say about it to dedicate an entire page to it.

So what does Kuro and Shiro mean? It.s quite simple. Kuro is black in Japanese and Shiro means white. Let's take a look at both styles separately.

KURO LOLITA

So let's start with Kuro lolita. What is it exactly? The Kuro style simply means that a lolita who wears that style should dress only in black. Dresses can have white lace, but the rest must be black. I do think that black lace looks even better for Kuro since it really makes a completely black coord. Kuro is not the same thing as gothic. You don't include gothic accessories with Kuro. This style is mainly sweet or classic and the dresses shouldn't have any prints.

Here's a few dresses and skirts that could be good for Kuro coords:

Blouses, accessories, socks and shoes should also be black to achieve the Kuro look. It's not a very complicated style, but it looks very nice when it's done correctly. Here are some pictures I found as exemples:

I don't think there's anything more to say about the Kuro style since the concept is pretty simple. So let's move on to the Shiro style.

SHIRO LOLITA

Shiro lolita basically has the same concept as Kuro lolita, but in a white version. There shouldn't be another color in the coord to achieve the Shiro look.

Again, here are some dresses and skirts that could be used for a Shiro lolita coord:

As in the Kuro style, the same rules apply. Accessories, blouses, socks and shoes must all be white. Here are some pictures of the style:

This style is also quite simple so I don,t really have anything more to say about it. It is always nice when you dress into Shiro or Kuro to have a friend dress in the opposite style. There,s a lot of good pictures of both style together that I found when browsing around for this post. I will share some here for you.

That's mostly it for the Kuro and Shiro styles. There are versions for the other colors too, but they don't really have a name yet since the aren't as popular as Kuro and Shiro.

Tips for lolitas on a budget #1

Hi lovelies!

I wanted to write a little something before going to bed tonight and this subject came to my mind.
I myself am a lolita on a budget as I live alone and pay for everything. I figured I could be able to give some useful tips to those of you who suffer the same.

How to resist buying

The hardest about being on a budget in my opinion is to resist to the temptation of buying when you know you shouldn't. Countless times I've seen my dream dresses on EGL while I had no money at all. I've also made a lot of mistakes and bought things when I really couldn't do it. After making a few mistakes, I finally found some ways to resist the temptation.

Tip #1 - When I know I can't buy anything, I simply avoid EGL comm sales and lolita shops at all costs! If I can't see that my dream dress is there, I won't be tempted to buy it and I certainly won't regret not buying it if I don't know it was for sale in the first place.

Tips #2 - I found that taking the time to review all dresses from every brand/websites and making a new wishlist is quite fun and I can plan ahead what I'll be wanting to buy next. Planning your 'to buy' list in a down time is fun and it keeps you in touch with lolita even though you can't buy anything. The next time you'll have enough money to buy something you want, you'll know what you are searching for and also it will prevent you from buying things that aren't on your list.

Tip #3 - I do am a compulsive buyer. I feel happy whenever I buy something, even if it's just food or everyday stuff like tooth paste or soap. So using the fact that I simply like buying things, I try to counter my need to buy lolita by going to dollar stores, thrift stores or cheap clothing stores and try to find some loliable items for great bargains. This satisfies my need to buy cute and fluffy things while not spending much at all. Sometimes I can just go out and buy Hello Kitty band aids or cute hairbows. I try to find things that I actually need, but in a cute version. I've come to buy less things than before over the months and am pretty satisfied about it.

That's mostly everything I can think about for now. It's pretty late now considering the hour I have to get up at tomorrow. I'll try to think about other tips I learned over the months about being on a budget and will probably write another part when I remember or learn new ones.

I will be honest here. My face didn't want to get taken in picture in the last days so I will take a picture we took at Otakuthon last weekend if it doesn't bother you too much.

As you can tell I was pretty happy. It's not everyday that it is the convention you were waiting for a whole year. I was cosplaying the character Neku Sakuraba from the game The World Ends With You if you are curious.

As for 3 good things that happened in the past 30 days... well again I'll say the truth. It's not the best of times for me right now. I'm in a situation where I don't know if I'll be able to continue living here or if I'll be taken back to my 'home', which doesn't really even exist anymore. I'll be forced to live with my father and mother-in-law, both of whom I don't know that much and which live far away from my boyfriend and dear friends. I'm still searching for a job but my searches haven't been going well for the past 3 months. With the building of my cosplay I was fairly happy and was able to forget about the loss of my previous job (I quit in fact but that's a long story). But now that Otakuthon has ended I realise I only have 3 weeks left to find a job before the countdown is over. But I did get a good dose of happyness in the past 30 days. I'm a cheerful person so I am able to have fun despite the situation I am in. So what good did happen in the last 30 days?

1. I learned how to sew all by myself and even made a cosplay that looked kinda good.

2. I went to Otakuthon with my friends and had a lot of fun taking lots of great pictures.

3. I had the chance to draw a storyboard cleaning test for a good animation series. I have no news yet though so I don't know if I have been chosen of not for the job.

I think that summaries what I had to say about the last days. I hope things will settle soon. I miss buying lolita and being more relaxed. I don,t quite like not knowing where I'll be in the next weeks. Hopefully I'll be here in this not so beautiful city, but with my marvelous friends and love. I also hope I'll get to make my comic for real this year. I've been preparing for so long, I think it is time I decide on an ending and begin to draw it!

I'll stop here for today before telling about all my life. I tend to write a bit too much when I follow the flow.

While I perfectly know that this picture is not following the rules, it is the one that I find the best so far of what I've seen on deviantart. The characters are well constructed and I like their poses and the colors. I juge as an artist and not as a lolita.

There is a place in Québec city called Old Québec which is really perfect for the classic style especially. It looks old fashioned and has a beautiful scenery. Thre are horses and the sea is nearby too.

Day 22 - A picture of your room

My room is a real mess. It is Otakuthon in a day or so, so everything in my apartment is messy. There is paint and brushes everywhere along with cosplay props. I tried to make my room look a bit more clean, but only you can tell me if I succeeded or not.

So here are a few views of my room, it is pretty big since I only have a 3 pieces apartment (2 of them are one big room in fact...).

I will redecorate my room very soon with wall scrolls instead of posters so what you see now will be gone in a few days. My small tables that are supposed to go on the sides of my bed are too big so I put them somewhere else... it's not really practical though.

You can see it is night outside so the light in my room is very yellow because of the artificial lights. I didn't get to modify the lighthing in photoshop, sorry. You can see my many Pokemon and regular plushies along with my styled wigs on top of my drawer. And let's not forget my cute chinchilla who is trying to sleep with all the lights on.

This is obviously where I do my hair when I use the iron and where I keep all my hair accessories.

I'm sad this meme part was before I change my room, but oh well it wouldn't change that much in the end.

I may not get the time to do all the days for the next 3-4 days since it is my long awaited convention, Otakuthon! If I miss some days I'll do them all together in my next post.

I don't usually carry a make-up bag around, but here is what I put in my luggage when I go somewhere else.

As I've mentioned before a few times, I really like sweet lolita and it is my favorite style. This is a picture that I think represents very well my idea of this particular genre.

For me this is really a good exemple of the sweet lolita style. The coord is very creative and simply adorable.

So here's my outfit for today. It.s nothing really special or lolita. I wore this to go to the mall and be with my boyfriend today. I still haven't finished to unpack some of my boxes so my room is again kinda messy.

That one's kinda easy. Right now all I want is to be able to get the job I'm currently doing a test for. I'm cleaning a storyboard at home for a cartoon series. It's the second season of the Dalton. It's a French series so I don't know if some of you know about it. Anyways, getting this job would be a huge step forward in my life since I haven't been able to take my first steps in the animation world since I graduated a bit more than a year ago.

I'm really tired so I'm just going to play Pokemon a bit with my bf and go to bed.

Day 13 - A picture of your favorite sweets

Well this question is quite misleading. Do I need to show only one or as many as I wish? Since I like way more than one, let's put a couple sweets down there.

Cheesecake in every flavor except moka/coffee

Cupcakes with lots of icing.

Banana milkshake (if it counts as a sweet).

Sugar cream pie

Almond paste... I know it's always part of something and not really a sweet. I basically like everything that has this in it.

Mousse... especially vanilla, strawberry or white chocolate. I tend to dislike the dark/brown chocolate flavored ones.

Cookies of almost all sorts

I honestly like a lot more sweets than that, but those are the ones I like the most.

Well this one is kinda short and easy don't you think?

Here's a picture of me at my first year of college. I discovered lolita around a year or 2 after that. So this picture was taken about 4 years ago. I didn't change that much though... only my haircut and my face a bit.

Tomorrow I have my storyboard clean-up test for a studio and I'm kinda nervous. Wish me good luck! I practiced yesterday and today, I hope I have some chances to get the job :)

Day 11 - One day in your lolita life in pictures

Well that wasn't easy. Today wasn,t really exciting but at least I managed to dress in lolita. Since it's Sartuday my boyfriend was here with me all day (all weekend in fact).

So I began the day by waking up before my bf. I decided to go on the computer to take a look at a storyboard program for my test of next Monday. I still don't know exactly what the test will look like. But I'll study hard tomorrow.

Then we watched a bit of tv while eating breakfast/dinner. It was obviously Bugs Bunny as you can see.

Then I dressed up in lolita. I wore my bodyline dress because it was too hot outside and I didn,t want to wear brand clothes.

I did a very simple make up for today again because of the heat. We were about to take a very long walk in the sun so I didn't want my make up to run.

This is the long street we had to walk on. It kinda misses some trees to make a bit more shadow. I managed to take a picture of my bf but since he dislikes being taken in picture I can only show his back ahah...

We changed side at one point to go near the park since the trees were projecting some refreshing shadows.

I wanted to show the park a bit.

So first we went to the market since I wanted to see if there was anything good I could get us for supper. But I ended up only buying some kitchen essentials and something to drink for us.

Then we continued our route on another big street. The bank is very far from my apartment so it took around 40 minutes to get there.

I couldn't take any more pictures since we are not allowed to take pictures inside stores. We basically went to the mall on our way home because I needed to get something at the drug store. This is a little park we stopped in because my boyfriend thought it would be nicer to have a picture of me in the sunlight instead of the one in my room.

I'm not really satisfied with the picture since we had walked in the sun for basically 1 hour and a half and I'm not really at my best here because of that. But since my bf took it I still want to use it here.

Afterwards there wasn't anything special about my day so I didn't take any more pictures. I made supper and then we looked at some things on tv and the computer. Now my bf is playing No more heroes on my Wii while I'm writing this :)

You can see that my everyday life isn't particularly lolita. Today was a good day to dress lolita at least so I'm happy about it.

I've been carrying a purse since high school and I always need it when I go out. It.s something really important to me. I often have too many things in my poor bag though and they keep on breaking from the weight. Here is a picture of my current bag, hopefully it will last a few months.

Overall verdict
