Hiding in a fish bowl to catch a fish is a near-flawless method. Looking around babies for milk is another pearl of knowledge. These twin cats were clearly the best part of the movie, as the rest of the film is nothing but smelly dogs. It's not my fault that my first natural instinct is to scratch on those trees. Well, that's what happened. Humans think it some sick joke to trick us cats with their fake trees, and then punish us for serving our natural cat-ly urges. So now I am in the basement for a while. I shouldn't complain, my catbox, scratchpost, food, water, favorite basket, carpet and comfy couch are all down here for my enjoyment. Though it just doesn't seem fair somehow. Trees are trees, I tell you!

Well, I heard them talk about getting me a second scratchpost for the upstairs, so maybe it will all work out after all. Those scratchposts are soooo satisfying to scratch!

Advice to ManCats: The Importance of the Close Up

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mhuNGR9aroo/SjqOZHKx9ZI/AAAAAAAAAOM/DLq4rLvxvVY/s400/sweets_closeup.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5348744069528024466" />

Fellow mancats, let me stress the importance of a good close-up. Not only will the ladycats come running when they take a look at your deep, dreamy eyes, but also the humans will fawn over your masculinity and general fantastic cat-ness which will result in treats. Yes, you heard me, treats. I received several Temptations for this shot. But note that you should not give away the close up shot too often. No one wants to buy the cow if you can get the milk for free.

An Uninvited Guest

I Can See Up Your Nose

<img style="display:block; Talk about fishies. Lots and lots, and lots of fishies. Must EAT fishies. Ehem, anyway, Servant One dragged me back to PA into the woods. I guess its alright. Squirrels need eating too. I already caught a mouse. He was delicious! I like to wash to help with the stress of moving. Then I like to wash some more. I guess the woods ain't so bad. We'll see.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mhuNGR9aroo/SdN-l0UoEkI/AAAAAAAAANc/2dYbNhzGqzU/s400/wash1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319734773020103234" />

New City, New Friends, Old Habits

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mhuNGR9aroo/SQZIQvar1HI/AAAAAAAAAJE/vg8z6hW4_Po/s400/IMG_1621.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261972667072500850" />

Greetings again friends, from a new city. As many of you recall I was last seen in Middle-of-nowhere, Pennsylvania, dealing with those ever eviiil rabbits. Well, I have since decided to move across country. Servant One and I loaded up her car and drove the 40-some hours to Seattle, Washington. I was generous and decided to be calm in the car for my owners benefit. She was quite impressed by my good behavior! I found the whole en devour quite boring and slept most of the way.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mhuNGR9aroo/SQZF4hGq3_I/AAAAAAAAAI0/HnSLxVbblOE/s400/IMG_1490.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261970051890339826" />

I suppose Seattle is a pretty place. The seafood is fantastic, though my servant is picky about what she lets me eat, the nerve! But the city itself was okay. I even accepted the moving in of Servant Two. The more people to wait on me, the better, I say. I was surprised by the presence of some other ... thing.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mhuNGR9aroo/SQZH2bgN6ZI/AAAAAAAAAI8/1ntO6RQ9sBU/s400/IMG_1620.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261972215050398098" />

...The thing's name is Nemo. I have been very busy running around, playing with my beloved mouse toy, and talking to the birds from my new perch. Birds are tasty. There was a family of birds near one of the windows and I would sit there for hours and talk to the mom. I don't think she was pleased with me, though I can't imagine why. Maybe she doesn't know how tasty she is? I just don't understand it. Silly birds.

Reunited, and Congrats Human Servant!

Yay! Today my human servant returned from away and we have officially moved out. Just don't ask my human where we are going. I'm pretty sure that she has no idea. See, my human is a recent college graduate. Actually, she just graduated last Sunday! I would have been there but no kitties were allowed in the stadium (horrible rule, it will change when I become supreme kitty ruler of the universe). Anyway, congrats to my human servant who can now add 'college graduate' on her resume, under 'litter box cleaner' and 'catnip dispenser.' The doc said it was just a cold and its all cleared up now. But my horrible human servant made them stick me with needles while we were there! Oh, the trauma of it all! 2 shots, one in each hip! I tried to get away, but there was no escape. It was awful. Though I got a treat afterwards, so I allowed the humans to pet me.

I am still very distressed, and not talking to my human for her insolence. Hah! You shall have the cold shoulder. So there!

Apologies and Worries

Apologies to all my kitty furrends as things have been a little crazy and I have not been able to visit as much as I would like! I've been very busy supervising my human's packing. In a couple weeks here we are moving to Pennsylvania for a few months. I am very excited because that means I get extra love and attention and outside time. Though honestly I feel a little under the weather. I haven't been using the litter box or holding down food as well as I should. My human servant made me some type of appointment for this week to find out whats going on. She hopes its just stress and will wear off with the move. My servant is worried that it is something more malicious as she has been having issues with our current neighbors. Yesterday, she found a cat treat shoved under the front door, though it was not a treat that we keep in the apartment so she knows I didn't do it.

All I can say is that the sooner we move, the better.

Moving is Hard Work

My human servant is very lucky to have me supervise. Its easy enough to do, and will establish you as an angst-ridden, sensitive yet rugged, handsome mancat. Heres the how to: Turn your head slightly to the left, and look off into the distance. Squint just a little. And think about a giant mound of catnip being just out of reach. Sad, isn't it? And there you go! Please use my "angsty cat look" as an example!

There you have it, mancats.
