            <title>Saturday 24th May, 2008: Alexander Technique Introductory Short Course</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Come and test the ground and find out how the Alexander Technique can offer you a tool with which to help yourself get a back for life and gain a tool you can use in all your activities. Discover how you can help yourself reduce and manage conditions such as back pain, stress and RSI, so that you can get your life back. Importantly, you can also use the Technique to help prevent such problems from developing. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With the Alexander Technique you learn to let your body move more freely and easily, improve your performance and increase your sense of well being.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There will be gentle experiential exercises, demonstrations, multi-media presentations and ample time for discussion. As the group is small, you will be able to have some individual hands-on work with Hilary King, an experienced teacher. Refreshments will be provided for the first, longer, Workshop.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;Hilary will be assisted by Eric Bell. a graduate teacher from LCATT, allowing the group to experience even more individual hands-on work.&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#3366ff"&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1:1 Follow-up Lesson&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/font&gt;- this is included as part of the course, in order to give you a real sense of the depth of work that is possible during Alexander Lessons. Individual lessons are the only real way to learn the Alexander Technique and by experiencing one yourself, you will be able to discover how you can learn to bring about changes in the way you use yourself during your daily life. In order to gain the most from the follow-up lesson, it needs to be taken within 2 weeks of the final Workshop.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Small Group, with limited places, so please book in advance. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ask for an Application Form below.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Save £5 if you book a place before 17th May.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;&lt;em&gt;'Thank you so much for introducing me to the wonderful world of A/T, it has been a true highlight of 2007... and I am excited about my future with it.
