            <description>&lt;p&gt;Come and find out about the Alexander Technique in a friendly small group setting.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This Introductory Workshop plus the 1:1 follow-up lesson included in the fee, will give you an understanding as to what Alexander Technique Lessons are really like. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Discover how the Technique can help you with problems such as&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Aches, Pains and Chronic Back Pain&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Tension, Headaches and RSI &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Stress-related Disorders&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;By learning the Technique you can also&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Move more freely and easily&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Improve your poise and performance&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Have a better quality of life&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Workshop will include demonstrations, discussion and experiential games. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Small Group&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font color="#008080"&gt;~ maximum of 6 participants&lt;/font&gt;, so you need to pay in advance to reserve a place.             <description>&lt;p&gt;Test the ground in this small and friendly group and find out how the Alexander Technique can offer you a chance to end aches and pains and gain a tool you can use to help yourself throughout your life. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Come and have an enjoyable time and discover how you can learn to manage conditions such as low back pain, stress and RSI, plus use the Technique to help prevent them from developing or recurring, so that you can get your life back. With the Alexander Technique you learn to let your body move more freely and easily, improve your poise and performance, plus increase your sense of wellbeing&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There will be gentle experiential games and demonstrations, with ample time for discussion. As the group is small, you will be able to have some individual hands-on work with Hilary King an experienced teacher. Hilary was one of the teachers selected to take part in the ATEAM Research Trial into treatments for chronic and recurrent back pain and she is a professional affiliate member of BackCare and BAPAM.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Special IAAW Offer &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;1:1 Follow-up Lesson &lt;/font&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;for just &amp;pound;20&lt;/font&gt; - Although this lesson is optional, it is linked to the course and is highly recommended, as it gives you the best chance to find out what Alexander Lessons are really like. In the lesson you will have Hilary's undivided attention with plenty of hands-on work, so you will begin to discover more about your personal body use and how you can make changes that will let you move more freely and easily in your daily activities. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to get the best from this private Alexander lesson, it needs to be taken either during the time of the course, or within 2 weeks of the final session.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;IAAW Discount Vouchers&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;I&lt;/strong&gt;f you cannot join the course but have one of the IAAW Discount Vouchers, you will be entitled to a reduced rate introductory lesson with Hilary. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; 		 	&lt;div class="comment-content"&gt;&lt;div class="comment-inner"&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;I started Alexander Technique lessons with Hilary during a very stressful period at work when I was experiencing low back pain and sore shoulders. More importantly, I feel I have learnt to use my body in a different way and one in which I have greatly decreased my chances of developing immobilizing disability as I get older.
