Santamedical Tens Electronic Pulse Massager product review

2015-11-25T20:16:00.001-05:00

My review of the Santamedical PM-120 Tens Unit Electronic Pulse Massager

I got this Santamedical PM-120 Tens Unit Electronic Pulse Massager to use on my hubby. When he was younger he was hit by a car and his back has never been the same since. He did go to the chiropractor for many years and they used to do manual massages and electrotherapy massages, but once the insurance stopped covering the visits it was too much for us to afford. I knew as soon as I saw this device we had to give it a try. I myself have never had a massage never mind an electronic one. This unit has 6 massage settings pre-programmed into a rechargeable handheld device. It comes with 4 reusable electrodes, 2 sets electrode wires, a charging cord, and a manual. The directions are very easy to follow. I hooked everything up sat on the couch next to hubby and put 2 of the electrodes on his arm and 2 of them on mine and turned the device on. At first I felt nothing at all until we turned the sensitivity up. Oh boy it felt like nothing I had every experienced before. I went through all six settings trying different sensitivities. I amazed at how my muscles reacted and how it felt. Shortly after I had my hubby lay down on his tummy and I placed the electrodes on his back and we did some more testing. This device is awesome. He said it works exactly the same as the one they have at the chiropractor. The only difference is they had more electrodes. Which is not a big deal. I am very happy with this massager and I would certainly purchase from this seller again.

Product review of 200 Dog Waste Bags and Dispenser

2015-11-18T20:14:00.001-05:00

This is my review of 200 Dog Waste Bags and Dispenser

This Dog Waste Bag Dispenser with 200 paw print bags/10 rolls are going to be great for when I take my dog for walks outside of the neighborhood. I did splurge and get a pooper scooper, however it looks kind of silly when I take my dog for longer walks outside of the neighborhood to be walking around with big pooper scooper. This waste bag dispenser is nice and compact I can just stick it in my pocket and we are good to go. I could also just clip it to my dogs leash as it does have a clip on it. Either way this is a great idea to keep our pets waste off of others property. I know I cant stand going for walks and being careful not to step in another animals mess. I mean what is worse then getting poop all in your shoe. Then you look like a fool scrapping your shoe every which way trying to get it all off. Each baggie is about 2 inches x 8.5 inches which is usually a perfect size to scoop up any waste. All I do is tie the top and throw it in the nearest trash. I wish every pet owner had these. The world would be filled with much less poop.

Product review of Got Me Tipsy Glassware & Gifts Mug

2015-10-31T11:23:00.001-04:00

My product review of Got Me Tipsy Glassware & Gifts of I'm Your Favorite Child Mug

This cup is going to be a gift for my mother in law. My hubby is the only boy out of his 2 sisters and there has always been a long standing joke that he is the favorite, so of course when I saw the opportunity to get this I'm your favorite child Funny glass mug from Got Me Tipsy I was all over it. It is 13 oz and is totally clear except for the white letters. So you can see right through the cup and the lettering sticks out and you can read the cup perfectly. The glass is thick and heavy duty, you can feel that it is a quality cup and will last for awhile. I cant wait till Christmas so we can give it to her. Their reaction is going to be priceless.

Review of Deluxe Cook V-Blade Mandoline slicer

2015-10-29T01:31:00.001-04:00

This is my review on Deluxe Cook V-Blade Mandoline Slicer

I am very excited about this mandoline slicer from LiBa. I saw a presentation using a slicer like this one time when I was at my local Walmart. I was so tempted to buy it but I got cheap and didn't. I had regretted that decision up until now. You can cut anything in just a few seconds. There are 2 size julienne and 2 sized slices

- Slices: 1.5mm & 3.5mm
- Julienne: 3 x 3mm & 6 x 6mm

I love that you hold it by a handle, it is very light weight and fits my hand perfectly. It also comes with a hand guard that has a bunch of spikes in it so that was it can hold the vegetable you are slicing nice and secure. I love that I now have a way to quickly and easily cut up potatoes for home made fresh French fries. I can never reset home made fries.

ImiKas Portable Electronic Pencil Sharpener review

2015-10-27T07:58:00.001-04:00

Hello! This is my review for ImiKas portable electronic pencil sharpener..

I got this electronic pencil sharpener from ImiKas for my daughter. She needs to use #2 pencils for school so we always get tons of pencils in the beginning of the year and as the year goes on I found all the broken pencils all over her room. She uses a small handheld manual sharpener and well we all know how well those work. They never sharpen evenly and most of the time as soon as you get a semi sharp pencil the lead breaks. Well that has been my experience anyway. I am really happy with how well this electric sharpener works. I love the fact that it is portable and very easy to use. It can charge with 4x AA batteries or you can plug the usb into a pc/laptop or the wall adapter. Its pretty compact so even a college student who doesn't have much space could use this. It sharpens my pencil with ease and give me a nice smooth solid tip.

My review of no touch thermometer

2015-10-24T23:23:00.000-04:00

In every household there are a few item that are pretty much a staple. What ever those items are they will certainly be needed at 1 time or another. A thermometer is certainly one of those 'staples'. You want to make sure that you have it ready when a fever strikes. I am so happy with my new no-contact thermometer I just got! It is so cool that you can now read the temperature of something without even touching it! I'm impressed actually. I wish I could have had this 12 years ago when my daughter was just a tiny baby. You can get your reading in F° or C°. It also stores the last 32 temperature reading. Which I assume would be a great feature for someone who was tracking there temperature. Another great feature is you can use this on other things besides people, such as to see how hot your cup of tea/coffee is or to see what the temperature is in the room. Im pretty sure I have throughly checked the temp of everything in my home. Lol

This is my review of Bamboo cutting and chopping board from Bright Star Bamboo

2015-10-21T13:09:00.001-04:00

I absolutely love the look of this bamboo cutting and chopping board made by Bright Star Unlimited. I love how on the edges it goes from a dark grain to a light grain. It appears to look like stripes. It is a larger size board measuring at 15" x 10" x 3/4". So there is plenty of room to cut or chop a lot of food. There is a deep grove that goes around the whole board to hold any water or juices. Bamboo boards naturally resist water therefore you wont have to worry about any bacteria lingering like you would with a traditional porous wooden board. It has a 100% anti microbial surface so it is super easy to clean, just use some warm water and a mild soap. I also used a little bit of mineral oil I had just to condition it. I am also happy as bamboo is harder than wood or plastic so it wont dull my nice sharp knives. I am very happy with this cutting board. From the looks to the quality I am very happy I purchased this item.

Review of Silicone Pet Food Mat by Tip-Top PetWare

2015-10-14T20:50:00.001-04:00

Here is my review of Silicone Pet Food Mat by Tip-Top PetWare.

I am so happy with this silicone pet food mat by Tip-Top Petware. I was using a old place mat that was my daughters when she was little, then when we first got Bellah, as a puppy, she chewed the corner of it. It was definitely time to toss it. This mat fits perfectly where her food and water bowl are. It is 18.5 inches by 11.5 inches and made from 100% FDA grade non slip silicone. It has a small lip all around the edges so that way if your fur baby makes a mess it can sort of hold it back from flowing over. I love how they added a small paw print in the corner. It is the perfect touch. It is super flexible and very easy to clean, its also dishwasher safe! I love this mat and so does my fur baby Bellah!

Botella Essential oil diffuser

2015-09-27T22:51:00.001-04:00

I absolutely in love with this essential oil diffuser. This is my product review..

I am in love with this Botella Essential oil diffuser. When I ordered I had my expectations pretty high, however I am beyond pleased with this purchase. I didn't realize the frosted top part was made of glass. It is heavier which is good I don't feel nervous that it will fall over or fall apart. It seems to be made of very good quality materials. I love how it flows through a prism of colors. It can be used for a calming night light with no mist or with mist. There are 2 mist settings 1 will come on every 30 seconds and the other will just continuously run. A full tank of about 100ml will last about 6 hours on eco mode and 3 hours on continuous mode. I used about 5 drops of oil and was very content with the results. I would definitely recommend this diffuser as one of the better units I have tried. Iphone 5 pink armband review

2015-09-27T01:51:00.000-04:00

My product review of this iPhone 5 pink armband

I purchased this i2 Gear running armband for my daughter to use with her iPhone 5. She has been wanting to go for jogs in the neighborhood but I would never let her since she had no where to hold her cell phone. This is the perfect solution. She can hold her phone and she can play music. It's a win/win. There are holes pre cut into the band, to fit any cords, such as headphones. It fit her arm nicely and she is able to still control her phone through the holder. I would recommend this armband. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest unbiased review. My product review of Easy Home areta oximeter

2015-09-24T13:37:00.001-04:00

This is my review for Easy Home areta pulse oximeter.

Both of my parents are older and have health problems. My dad is a diabetic and my mom has had issues with blood clots on more than 1 occasion and has sleep apnea. I thought having this Easy Home oximeter would be a very good idea. It came in a really nice traveling case that can attach to your belt loop or hung from a lanyard. That's a nice feature, it can be close by if you need it. It is really easy to use. You just squeeze the 2 ends, slide your finger in, and let the machine take its reading. I am going to make sure they consult with there doctor so they can properly use the device, as self diagnosis is not a good route to take. Sir Stitch emergency sewing kit

2015-09-15T09:23:00.001-04:00

Here is another really cool thing I got from reviewing. It an emergency sewing kit. Here is my review...

This is the cutest, most convenient idea ever. I received this item in the mail today and I can't get over how much is in this compact case. There are several different color options of thread. There is a seam ripper, 2 needle threaders, a bunch of pins, a marking pen, scissors, and probably more. This will be a definite item I take on our next trip. I am currently keeping it at work. I have actually had to use it a couple times and it makes me smile every time I do. I am very happy to have it. I would absolutely recommend this item to anyone. I did receive it for a discounted in exchange for my honest unbiased review. Everything expressed here is solely my opinion.

Amazon reviews

2015-09-07T16:40:00.002-04:00

So about a month ago a girl I follow on Instagram started posting about how she was a "Amazon reviewer" and that she was getting lots of cool stuff for a deep discount and sometime free! After a couple of her posts I got so nosy I contacted her. She told me to google 'Amazon reviewer' and run with what I find. So I did, I found a bunch of different sites that will give people like me quality products, in return I have to try the products out and report back to them with my honest unbiased opinion. Hmmm well I can definitely do that! So I signed up for every site I found. So far I have received over 100 items and wrote over 100 reviews. I love it! Currently my amazon ranking is
141,572. I am so proud of that number. Every time I get a new item and leave a review my ranking gets better. There is a brand new site called Reviewsio starting on Oct 1st. The link is reviewsio to join. I can't tell you many details about the site as it isn't fully operable yet but will be very soon. Right now you are able to go on the site to earn points. I am not sure if you are going to have to use points to buy items. I will have more info in the weeks to come. I will include the link 1 more time along the bottom and if you have any questions please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

Check it out!! Look at all the cool stuff I got! This was just a couple of days of packages. I am ADDICTED!!!

See yall next time,

Review of ISA flatiron I received for a honest review!!

2015-08-19T14:14:00.001-04:00

I honestly can't say enough good things about this flat iron. I have been stoked to receive it since I agreed to review it in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. I did not have a 1" straighter so this was perfect. I love how they made it a user friendly. The cord is on a swivel so that it won't get tangled up, it makes it so much easier to maneuver. It has a velcro strip attached to it for easily keeping it neat when not in use. The plates them self are ceramic. The on/off switch is located on the inside so there seems to be no way you can accidentally hit it while in use. You can also use this flat iron to make beautiful curls. I can't seem to get it together yet but with practice I'll be a master in no time. It heats up quick so you don't have to wait around all day. I am impressed with this item and would recommend it to anyone. It left my hair nice and shiny and it didn't look dry or damaged at all. I hope this iron lasts me a very long time. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity.

Many changes

2015-07-31T00:14:00.001-04:00

So it has been quite some time since I have checked in. Sorry btw. I now weight approximately 128 pds. U have actually gained like 10 pds from my lowest weight. I am okay with it though. I feel ok. I miss how my hip bones stuck out but whatevs. I am now into couponing and saving more money. I am recently researching amazon review sites. I haven't received anything yet. I ordered some eyelash serum to boost my eyelash growth. I pray to the Lord above the lashes I do have don't fall out. I will cry. Alot! I have requested to review alot but I haven't been approved yet. I will hopefully be using this alot more in the near future. I will be writing reviews for the products I receive.

Bad choices.. =(

2011-04-11T11:32:00.000-04:00

So I made it to my 3 week stall.. Yippeee. Lol But today I finally lost a pound so I am at 213.6 I believe. I was stuck at 214 for a few days. But I expected it. Plus I will admit I have not been a very good girl. I so far have found nothing really makes me sick. I know I know not a smart door to open but what can I say. I know I have put myself through so much to just fall back But I won't or I hope I won't. I guess I am just that type of thick headed person that when you tell me not to touch the stove it is HOT.. I still have to see for myself. I guess I like the hard way through life. I dunno. I had been craving pizza since the day I woke up in the hospital. Well I had a slice of thin cheese pizza the other day and I had no problems with it other than the fact that I felt guilty. I know I should be taking full advantage of this "honeymoon" period. But Its hard. A lot harder than I ever imagined. I am still not able to get in all my requirements. It is a working progress. I am sorry this is a boring post but I am not up to to much lately. I am hoping to find a job soon. My clothes aren't really falling off yet but I do notice a little difference. I guess I expected to be a size 3 in a month (well not really but sorta lol) I have not tried on smaller clothes yet becasue I don not wanna get discouraged. Sometimes I feel like maybe I will be the only person this surgery won't work for. Or it will but my foolishness will just gain it back. I am trying to instill the good habits but Uggh its not easy... =)

I GAINED WEIGHT....

2011-03-30T18:50:00.000-04:00

Ok so every morning I am in pretty much the same routine. I wake up, go potty, and the step on the scale. Everyday so far has been a good day. TILL today I gained 0.4 pds. OMG I was 218.4 yesterday and now I am 218.8. How is this even possible. I can see staying the same but NOOOO I gained. I am assuming it is because I got my lady friend here to visit me this week. I was losing at a rate of like 2.5lbs a day then it went to 1 lb. and now I gain. Sorry I am a bit upset. Who gains weight almost 2 weeks after they have gastric bypass. ME I guess. Well on another note I am supposed to start my "soft foods" diet tomorrow but once again I have pushed the limits and had a little shepards pie yesterday. I skipped the corn though. I am not sure If I mentioned that in my last blog post if I did I am sorry. Today I tried tuna fish. It was ok but I tried to eat quick so I could get my daughter from school and I dont think that was a good idea. I started to get really hot???? A little strange but I layed down and took at nap. I feel better now.I am making a Willows chicken pot pie for dinner. Ohh I hope its good...

I had a Nutrition appt today..

2011-03-29T21:07:00.001-04:00

Today I had my first post op nutrition appt.Well surprise surprise I am not getting in enough protein.. Well DUHH.. I havent been having my shakes. The first time I tried I got so gassy I could only get in a few sips. But she told me I could add strawberries today. So the second I got home I had me a protein shake. So today I got in about 30g I am still 30g short but I am working at it.. She also told me on Thursday I can start my soft food diet. YiPpEe.. Although I am a jerk and decided to move myself up today. I had Shepard's Pie for dinner. I only ate the potatoes and ground beef. No corn. Oh I also added beef gravy. it was pretty good. So far so good. But usually it takes a little while before it hurts. Ill be able to tell if I am in pain tonight. So far I have only dry heaved once and it was over quick. Thank god because it was the day after I got home from surgery and it hurt like a mother trucker.

I also had my first post op surgeon appt yesterday. Everything went ok. He gave me a little more pain med to help me get comfy to be able to sleep and also for these back pains I keep getting. I think it might be gas but I'm not to sure. Everyday seems to be a better day but then I have a bad day and I cry and wish I would have never done this. I have felt that way a couple times since surgery. When I sit and think I never even really truly thought this whole thing through. But I wont get into that now. Thats a whole other blog entry. I'll get into that one of these days..

I am so excited I have 1 FOLLOWER.. YiPpPee. Thank you .. I will try to keep my boring life fun and entertaining for you.. lol

First Post Op Surgeon Appt. TODAY!!!

2011-03-28T10:16:00.001-04:00

I have my first postop. appt today at 2:30. I am really hoping he will advance me to the next stage of my diet. I am on "soft liquids" and I am pretty tired of it.. Lol. I am struggling with GAS. It hurts really bad and it is a daily thing. I am gonna try to get some Gas-X and see if that will give me some relief. I am really looking forward to having tuna fish, and chicken salad, and egg salad. I have my good days and then I have really bad days. I guess it will be like that for awhile. I have lost 22 pounds so far. So that is really cool. I am kinda noticing it but my clothes are not fitting any looser ok maybe just a little. Lol

Had my Surgery

2011-03-25T21:41:00.001-04:00

Hey, even though I don't seem to have any followers yet. I am going to try to keep updating this for something to reflect on. Ok well on March 17 @ 7:00 am I arrived at Tobey Hospital to under go my Gastric Bypass Surgery. I had been completely calm for the entire process and just wanted it DONE. Until the night before surgery. I laid in bed with my daughter and fiance and for some reason I started to tear up. I was afraid for my little girl. What if something had happened to me? I mean I was fat but I wasn't willing to risk my life to be thin. I finally was able to fall asleep. The next morning the alarm went off and I got right up. Checked my bag, made sure my daughter had everything she needed for school and off we went. On the ride I started to cry. I got so nervous but I knew I was doing the best thing. See, I am the type of person who believes everything happens for a reason. So I kept reminding myself that and I calmed down and made it through.

When I arrived I waited for like 10 min and then a nurse came and got me and off I went. She had me take a urine test to check for pregnancy. Then I put on my neat little dress that I was gonna be stuck in for the next few days. They ran my IV and off we went into the OR. I don't remember that much but being rolled into the room it was smaller than I imagined. They had me scooch over onto this little tiny OR table/bed. I remember them restraining my arms to the side and then I got the mask and that was about it. I woke up and I was immediately in discomfort. I felt like I got hit and dragged by 10 Mack trucks. Lol. It was bad. I remember a male nurse telling me he was hooking up my PCA pump and swabbing my lips. I pressed that button the second I could. I kept trying to wake up but it was hard. About a few hours later I was being brought to my room. Were I immediately wanted to walk. I knew that the only way I was gonna get that gas out was by walking so the nurses were a bit surprised but up I got and made my rounds. The first night I didnt sleep well at all my stupid machines kept beeping. If it wasnt the IV machine it was the heart monitor. I felt so bad for my poor roommate. Ofcourse every time it beeped she woke up to. But we made it through.

Thats I all I have to talk about for now but i'll be back to write more later.. Xoxo

I got my APPROVAL!!

2011-03-03T11:22:00.001-05:00

Hey I know it has been a few months. I have had a bumpy road but not too bad. I hunted down my gastric bypass approval today. Yippee.. Now the last thing I need is my DATE.. Hopefully Michelle will call me today and give me a date this month but that is wishful thinking.. Lol

My first Appointment =)

2010-11-10T22:55:00.000-05:00

Hey!! Ok today I went to the seminar for the WLS and I am still ready to go ahead. The whole vitamins everyday for ever kinda freak me out but hey the weight loss will be worth it. I talked to one of my friends today and she is scheduled for her surgery on DEC 8 so I am gonna follow her closely and see how it goes I made a new friend on thinnertimes.com YIPPEE =) I cant wait for the time to pass. I hate waiting. : )

Hey its been a little while...

2010-11-10T09:41:00.001-05:00

Hello I havent been here in a while and i guess thats ok cause I have no followers so I basically do this for myself I guess. Nobody wants to follow me :( lol Well I have some exciting news I went to the doctor yesterday and I am FAT enough to get weight loss surgery. I knew I had gained weight when I busted 2 zippers on my favorite jeans and NOTHING fit but it somehow didnt fully register until I saw the # on the scale I weigh 232 pds. which is the heaviest I have ever been when I was 9 months preggers I weighed 222 pds. So I'm feeling pretty upset and happy at the same time. I had considered surgery but thought I would never be able to afford it. But apparently my insurance covers all but $500.00. But now I wonder once I lose the weight will they cover plastic surgery for all my saggy skin. But that is all little things. I have so many questions to ask. I am attending a weight loss surgery seminar tonight. But I wonder will I have to be put on a list and will this be a long drawn out process. I wonder what will I be able to make for dinner and is it all yucky foods that I can eat.

I guess we will just have to wait and find out. I cant wait to fit into my old clothes and look at my self in the mirror and except myself again it will be awesome. I will blog my journey and it happens. I also found a cool site called thinnertimes.com yesterday and it is a bunch of ppl who have already been through surgery or are starting like me. So I am gonna drive them crazy with questions...
