UPDATED Information on the CSN Fan Heater

UPDATED Information on the CSN Fan Heater from my previous post. This heater like I said in the review is a great little heater, but as I came across the other day, It dose get dust and hair in the heating element which is a fire issue if not cleaned. Well it can be cleaned if unplugged, but as I found out it is very difficult to do. I myself if I made this heater would have made where there would be a filter area in the back with easy access to cleaning it.

Skin MD Review

I received this Skin MD shielding lotion product from Skin MD. I have tried other hydrating lotions for my dry skin, that I mainly have in the winter months of the year and none of them worked as great as this skin MD product does for me. This product is mostly all natural and non-greasy and dries into the skin quickly and works for a few days before needing another dose to be applied. This lotion also has a very light scent to it which makes it more bearable to have on then those lotions that to me stink and are very unbearable to have on and have to smell all day long. Also with it being used on your face makes this product more bearable to use being that it don't stink like menthol or whatever the other smell of the other lotion have to them. Skin MD also has a sunscreen lotion that is of the same comfortable use. This product is not real thick, but not to watery which is one reason why it dries into your skin faster. This product is a shielding lotion which shields the skin so it locks in your own moister in which is very new and different then other lotion product that are out there also. It's great for women and men because of the low scent, so now men can enjoy soft skin without all the feminine smell lotions that are out there. Skin MD shielding lotion leaves my skin soft all over for as dry as and scaly as my skin gets in the cold months. I would recommend to anyone that uses lotions to try this from Skin MD.

I received this awesome fan heater from CSN Stores, It's the World Marketing Pelonis Fan Forced Heater. Well now you may be thinking what dose a fan heater have to do with a medical blog? Well I'm here to tell you. We got this mainly to try out in our bathroom that in this old small house doesn't have its own heating source, so now this little, but awesome fan heater heats just right. My Mother In-Law being that she has diabetes needs to be warm so she don't get sick with a cold as people with this medical condition can easily get if caught up in cold conditions to long. Also for me and my Wife it makes for better conditions for the use of the bathroom on those really cold nights. I would recommend those people not only with Diabetes, but with any of those cases where a cold is easily gotten and for those that just may want to have those same comfortable conditions as I now have in a bathroom like mine that gets cold and don't have its own heat source. Poor circulation is another problem found in many homes weather old or young they have a hard time keeping warm. There are many products that they can buy to help with their conditions, but in my opinion this is one of the best sources. Clinere Ear Cleaners Review & Giveaway--Closed

I received the ear cleaners from Clinere to review. These are unlike anything I have ever seen before my whole household has been using q-tips for years. The best thing I like about these is the fact that unlike q-tips they get any itching in your ear and seem to clean better in your ears entrance than q-tips without pushing more wax deeper into your ear. They have two sides to them one to help with the itching and cleaning of the ear canal entrance and the other to clean and exfoliate outside of the ear where q-tips do not get. My mother in law and me both have dried skin and wax in our ears so this helped a lot with the process of cleaning and exfoliating our ears to make them clean. As for my wife she liked them but just like if anyone uses q-tips for the reason my wife does then these probably won't work for you. My wife uses q-tips due to she gets real bad swimmers ear even from just taking a shower so the doctors told her to use q-tips to dry out her ears. Q-tips work better for that cause the cotton soaks up the water where these ear cleaners have no cotton base or anything to absorb with. Now that being said again there not for everyone but for a lot of us older people and people who have dry skin and wax in our ears or just people who have a lot of itching these are for you. I recommend these ear cleaners from Clinere.

Lotus Review

I received this great acupressure lotus healing mat from Lotus Healing. I've tried it myself for my aching back and shoulder muscles and it works great for me. The mat works on the back muscles as the pillow works on your shoulder muscles. With 6000 points of acupressure it to me feels like a heating pad sensation. With this I can feel my muscles and body relaxing. I have a lower lumbar slipped disc and bursitis in my right shoulder and these points of acupressure really help a lot for my pains. I also get along with the pain relief the stress relief and able to sleep better and along with having better sleep I feel like I have more energy though out the day. You may ask well don't all those points hurt? Well I myself have had acupuncture on my muscles before so to me NO it don't, but to a new comer it may at first with tingling, but after a few minutes it should feel like a heating sensation something like a heating pad but better because it gets to many more points of your body than a heating pad would and much safer with out the actual heat that in time can burn you badly if left on to long. It's better to be bare skinned as you lay on this mat, but if the sensation of the acupressure is to strong you can use a thin materiel to lay on top of the mat. I would recommend to anyone with back/neck and shoulder pains to try this lotus healing mat by lotus healing. I wanted to try this for me and my mother - In Law, she was chicken to even try it. I told her it may feel a bit awkward for her at first, but it would help her in a long run, but she never tried it. Don't be a chicken like her and loose out on a great relief the safe way. Skoy Cloth Review & Giveaway -- Closed

I received a pack of skoy cloths from Skoy to review. I used to use all sorts of things to clean around the house from sponges in the sinks, rags in the bathroom, to even Brillo pads and such just to clean with. Until we tried the skoy cloths I really doubted these things could clean as well as other things we have used. Also who would think it could even take the place of paper towels in cleaning as well. I am now a true believer because we use these from cleaning around the house, washing dishes, cleaning windows with glass cleaner, bathrooms, and even my truck. Wow that's a lot of jobs for these small little cloths to do and you will be amazed too. They handle big and small messes and you can throw them in the microwave to kill the germs how cool is that. This is the main reason for me deciding to review a cloth like these on a medical blog. Even though it looks thin it actually can soak up a lot of liquid in it and not leave streaks and such behind. I was astonished when my wife said she could clean the windows with window cleaner and it do a better job than paper towels and didn't streak. So now we use these all around the house and plan on buying more as well. They are the most sanitary cleaning cloths you will ever use. We have told all our friends and family about the skoy cloths and now we can all save the landfills as well from all those thrown away paper towels we will no longer be using. Tom's Of Maine Review

I received Wicked Fresh! Toothpaste and Mouthwash from Tom’s of Maine to review. I had never heard of this company before. But loved how they made their stuff with natural resources and not all the chemicals and stuff that a lot of the other companies use. I firmly believe that cleaners whether toothpaste or mouthwash doesn't have to burn or hurt just to keep a healthy mouth. What I received was, two spear mint ice toothpastes, one peppermint wave mouthwash and one mountain mint mouthwash. So I tried this, I took my old mouthwash and toothpaste and sat it aside and started using these as the replacement. After about a week I noticed my teeth to be just as clean as before, with natural ingredients which is a lot more safe on my mouth and my family. My wife tried this and said that the toothpaste didn't burn it just cleaned her teeth nicely, no film left at all. Plus she said the mouthwash left her mouth feeling fresh and no burning in her mouth like from other mouthwashes with a ton of alcohol in them. The freshness lasts all day so no need to rinse several times of day like before. My mother in law even used the toothpaste and mouthwash also being that it's all natural and safe for diabetics. We all seem to agree on some of the great factors of these products. The top thing has always been needing to take better oral care, but so many products on the market hurt, burn and don't last a long time or leave films and plaque behind, but not with these products from Tom's of Maine they do it all and then some and still leave you feeling better about your oral care.

SmartMouth Review

I received this SmartMouth mouth wash and this product really works great. It comes as two different bottles of fluids and two different pumps one for each bottle and a small cup. Each of the two bottles of fluids to be mixed. It is easy, but a bit time consuming if you might be in a hurry. One of the bottle is white this has the solution of purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium chlorite and benzoic acid. The second bottle contains the solution of purified water, glycerin, poloxamer 407, propylene glycol, poloxamer 124, zinc chloride, flavor, sodium benzoate, benzoic acid, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, benzyl alcohol, D&C yellow No. 10, FD&C blue No.1. for your fresh mint taste. now you take both bottles and alternate with four full pumps of each to make up you mouth washing solution. Then swish it around and gargle for about thirty seconds like any other mouth washes you would use. I use it everyday and love it. It taste really good and last for the 12 hours like it says, but if you eat any thing like onions or garlic it is advisable to re rinse with this Smartmouth mouth wash again to keep you mouth staying fresh all day. Normal usage is twice a day once in the morning and once at night, as any others are used. This product is safe for Diabetics and dose not stain teeth, fillings or dentures. the one thing I see wrong about this is that they put in big letters on the back Alcohol free, but yet in solution two the green bottle it includes the benzyl alcohol that I mention earlier. don't seem alcohol free to me. If you need to take true alcohol free products, I Would ask your Doctor first before using this SmartMouth mouth wash. Just to be on the safe side.

I received this real nice Solo 915 Any Touch Calorie Heart Rate Watch from Sportline. This watch is awesome it is very light, but at the same time very durable. The wrist band is made of a heavy plastic so it will last a long time with normal care and use. This watch has several different timers, such as; A stop watch, A count down timer, A calorie monitor and a Great ECG accurate Pulse check built in, all you need to do is make the profile setting in the watch to your info for sample 44 m for my profile for the watch. After that it is very easy to retrieve your pulse rate. You make sure it's turned on ready to use if there is a little heart in the upper right hand corner, then all you have to do is touch the metal frame and hold there until your reading is done. The count down timer is a great feature for those who workout the the repetition type exercises like weight lifting and others that have repetitions to them. Just set your desired time and let it beep when your done no more guessing when you start and need to finish. The stopwatch is great for the runners quarter mile and mile runners that want to know the time it takes to do their run. I myself do not use them that often, I use the pulse check regularly tho. This watch of course has the time of the day, month and day on it also. You have a choice of standard time reading or Military/Medical,Fire and Police style of time reading, I use the Military/Medical,Fire and Police style it easier then saying or thinking if it is AM or PM. It's 24hour time. Like say you ask for a time to be at work and your place of work is open 24hrs and your boss says be in at 3 and not thinking you say ok and hang up and then later you think hum, does he mean 3 AM or PM. If he would have just said 1500 or 0300 and you knew 24hr time you wouldn't have had to second guess, This is why I like this type of time telling method.

Buster Brands Review

I received several different product types from Buster brands to review. The products that I received were as follows; Spray Awake energy spray, Headache Buster, Allergy Buster, Sinus Buster, Sinus Buster(mild formula), Cold Buster, Sinus Genie and the Sinus Genie Nasal rinse salts to go along with the sinus genie. Well my Wife was the first to try the headache buster because she is always getting migraine headaches. Her experience was horrible. Her nose started bleeding, she got sick and vomited and the product didn't help her it made things worst. I tried the Spray awake energy spray and it taste nasty and didn't work for me. Well after that a friend had told me that he had been suffering from sinus allergies for about a week. I mentioned to him that I had some sinus and allergy sprays that I was reviewing and he could try them and let me know how they worked out for him. He agreed and took some of the Allergy Buster and Sinus Buster home along with him and said he'd let me know how it worked out. I saw him about a week later and he said that it worked out good for him his sinuses were cleared in a few days of using the Buster Brand products. He was very pleased that I had let him try them. So these Buster Brands products may not be good for everyone, But work great for those who can use them. Ask a Doctor before use of these Buster Brands products if you have: Asthma or allergies to any of the ingredients or if you ever had any medical procedures relating to your nose or sinuses or if you are susceptible to nose bleeds.

Wonda Wedge Review

I received a Wonda Wedge for review. I tried it out for awhile on my back and it works great. It gave great back support, so I gave it to my Mother In Law for her Birthday. She suffers from lower back pain in her lumbar area. Well soon after tring it she loved it. She uses it mainly in the lumbar position but it has three positions. The positions it has are straight up rite, recline and of course the lumbar. My Mother In Law has tried them all and says they all are great but of course she likes the lumber the best because it helps her back tremendously. The Wonda Wedge was designed by a Physiotherapist for back support. It has many uses and comes in six different colors, see the colors below. The uses are Indoor, Medical and Outdoors. Indoor uses include; reading, College dorm rooms, gaming and TV.
Outdoor uses include; the beach, camping, RV's, poolside, fishing, picnics, comfort at the fireworks displays, comfort at the sporting events, comfort at those music festival and out door movies( if you have any in your area still) & Theatre. Medical uses are; recuperation, meditation, breast feeding, pregnancy, and last as a good sleeping aid.It like all things has it's advantages and dis advantages. Some of the advantages that I see are; The multi support angles it has, great comfortable support it gives anywhere, lightweight, easy to care for, and being inflatable you can set your own level of comfort. The dis advantages that i see are that they say you can inflate it by mouth, Well Wrong not unless you have great lungs I couldn't do it. I needed to use my car air pump with a mattress inflation adapter, Does not come with a inflater or mattress inflation adapter, Must purchase or have a bicycle pump hand or foot type to inflate this product if you can not by mouth as they say you can and most of all it might be difficult for the elderly to inflate. In all I think that it's a great product and you should get yours today from Wonda Wedge.
