Ek Tha Tiger (English: There was a Tiger) is an upcoming 2012 Bollywood romantic action thriller film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Kabir Khan, the film marks the third collaboration of Kabir Khan with Yash Raj Filmsafter Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 15 August 2012.

The Expendables 2 is an upcoming 2012 American ensemble action film directed by Simon West and written by Richard Wenk and Sylvester Stallone, based on a story by Ken Kaufman, David Agosto and Wenk. It is a sequel to the 2010 action film The Expendables, and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is due to be released on August 17, 2012, by Lions Gate Entertainment.

On a $100M budget, principal photography began on September 29, 2011, focusing on stunts with the central stars beginning filming on October 3. Filming was scheduled to take place over 14 weeks, with early filming taking place in Bulgaria at the Nu Boyana Film studios in Sofia, with additional filming occurring in the city of Plovdiv and the town of Bansko. Other filming locations included Russia, France and Hong Kong. A small portion of filming was done in New Orleans near the downtown area and the Crescent City Bridge.^{[citation needed]} On October 9, Chuck Norris, Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger flew to Bulgaria to film their scenes.^{[citation needed]} Filming was expected to conclude in January 2012, and by February 9, 2012, it was reported that The Expendables 2 had moved into post-production.

On October 27, 2011, while the 2nd Unit Stunt Team were filming on reservoir Ognyanovo, 15 miles outside of Sofia, stuntman Kun Lieu was killed and another, Nuo Sun, was left in critical condition during a staged explosion on a rubber boat. Sun underwent a five hour operation which left him in stable condition. Other Bulgarian filming locations included Devetashka Cave inLovech Province. As part of filming at the cave, BGN600,000 (approximately $408,762) being spent to rebuild a 114 meter bridge crossing from the cave over the river Osam – only the concrete bridge columns remained of the original structure. Nu Boyana Film Studios announced that the bridge would remain after the completion of filming as a gift to Bulgaria

The main antagonist of the film and the leader of an opposing team of mercenaries. Van Damme had previously been offered a role in The Expendables but failed to come to an agreement with Stallone and ultimately never took part. Commenting on the role, Stallone said "We’ll have a big showdown between me and Van Damme, which has been anticipated for a long time, so it should be a good one."

In late August 2011, Stallone stated his interest in having Willis return for a role in the sequel – expanding upon his brief cameo in the original – potentially as a "super villain".Willis was confirmed to be involved in a "substantial" role on September 6, 2011.Commenting on the film, Willis said "Hopefully, they'll start shooting it while we're young enough to survive."

Stallone noted his intention to have Schwarzenegger return for a sequel before the release of The Expendables, stating "If this works, I would love to get him in the next one". Schwarzenegger's involvement was confirmed on September 6, 2011, his "substantial" role expanding on his cameo in the original film.Schwarzenegger filmed his scenes in 4 days.

Total Recall is an upcoming 2012 American science fiction action film, based on the 1966 short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" byPhilip K. Dick. Unlike the original 1990 film, the plot of this new version lacks a trip to Mars and contains strong political overtones. In addition, the film also blends Western and Eastern influences together, due to the fact that the two nation states, New Shanghai and Euroamerica, are battling for political power.

It is directed by Len Wiseman, written by Mark Bomback, James Vanderbilt, and Kurt Wimmer, starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, John Cho, and Bill Nighy. It was first announced in 2009. It is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2012 and in Australia on the 6th of September, 2012

In a futuristic political setting of 2084, after being devastated by war, Earth is divided into two superpowers, Euroamerica/Western Hemisphere and New Shanghai/Eastern Hemisphere, who are locked in a battle for supremacy. In this world lives Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell), a factory worker suffering from violent nightmares. Dissatisfied with lowly existence, Quaid visits Rekall, a corporation that provides its clients with implanted artificial memories of the lives they would like to have. McClane (John Cho), a Rekall representative, finds that Quaid has already had his memory erased and demands to know why Quaid has come to Rekall. Armed men shoot and kill McClane and other Rekall employees before Quaid kills them. He returns home to his wife Lori (Kate Beckinsale) who, after trying to kill him, reveals that he really is a secret agent and she is not really his wife. Now he is on the run and he joins forces with a rebel agent named Melina (Jessica Biel) while he tries to unravel the secrets of his own mind while fighting the Euroamerican military led by Vilos Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston).

Behind the Movie Tuneega Tuneega: Producer MS Raju’s son Sumanth Ashwin is debuting with this film. MS Raju himself handling the direction department with new comer Riya as heroine. Let us see, whether ‘Tuneega’ is worth a watch or not?

In the Movie Tuneega Tuneega: Story begins with Dr. James (Sayaji Shinde) praying the gods for marriage of Karthik (Sumanth Ashwin) and Nidhi (Riya). Time for the big flashback and here it goes. Karthik is the only son of chef Rama Swamy (Prabhu) while Nidhi is the only daughter of businessman Ravindra Babu (Naga Babu). Both Rama Swamy and Ravindra Babu are childhood friends but it is not the same with their kids Karthik and Nidhi. They always involve in silly and funny fights playiing pranks developing hatred towards each other. Nidhi is parceled to America for future studies. Fast forward by 12 years, these kids grow up as Karthik (Sumanth Ashwin), a good dancer aspiring to shine at National level while Nidhi (Riya), an animal lover is back in India to attend a business party arranged by her dad. Unknowingly Karthik present in the same party falls in love with Riya at very first sight. Hiding his original identity as Karthik, he impresses Riya and both get attracted towards each other. In the mean time, Ravindra Babu’s father (Vijay Chander), sister (Geetha) along with her husband (Vinod Kumar) and their children Nita, Rahul sketch a conspiracy to eliminate Karthik from the life of Nidhi. As per the plan, Karthik and Rama Swamy leave the house in an insulting incident. Next is how Karthik won his love? How and when did Ravindra Babu realize his mistake? What kind of mediation James did in this?

Values of the Movie Tuneega Tuneega: In simple, story and scripting of this film are completely outdated. MS Raju relied on old style of treatment which made the major part of show unimpressive. With shades of 'Nuvvostaanante Nenoddantaana' remained in tact, 'Tuneega' failed to fly. Same applies for dialogues of Paruchu Brothers which of course clicked in some occasions. Savior is S. Gopal Reddy's photography catching the beauty of hill stations used in the film. Krishna Reddy's Editing could have been still better in second half. Music by Karthik Raja was decent for a copuple of songs and background was innovative in few sequences. Production values of Maganti Ramji and Padmini Arts are appreciable.

Coming to performance, Sumanth Ashwin never looked like a new comer. He has no camera fear and drizzled with confidence thorugh out. Impressive face features, energetic body language, ease in acting, athletic body of Ashwin will definitely take him to the top, if proper scripts are selected. Rhea has neither a stunning beauty nor possessed a oomph filled body. Yet did her part well. She resembles Nikitha and Swetha Agarwal ('Allari' heroine). Of the remainigng, Naga Babu did a purposeful role, Sayaji was at his routine while Seetha, Vinod Kumar, Geetha, Paruchuri Venkateshwar Rao, AVS, Kasi Vishwanath etc did their part.

Out of the Movie Tuneega Tuneega: As said above, this project will serve at best only as an opportunity for Sumanth Aswin to prove his caliber as an artist. Neither the story nor the script and direction came to his help. MS Raju instead of braving with a new story for his son has just followed the old fashioned love story with no excitement. At least, he should have adopted a new style in treatment. Unluckily the same mistakes found in 'Vaana' are repeated here in 'Tuneega.' As a father MS Raju might be happy with Sumanth Ashwin's active energy. Nevertheless as a director he failed to get relief from the neverending flop stream.

First half of 'Tuneega' is majorly concentrated on reaping the entertainment with decent introductions of new and young lead pair. Later on the graph falls up and down until an expected intrerval bang comes raising anxiety on second half. Without changing the pitch and pace, MS Raju struck to his 1980 nand 90 formula treatment. The weak second half is further extended scene by scene to end with a touching climax. A common opinion by many woudl be, other than MS Raju any other senior director could have cooked a better show. Overall, 'Tuneega' is a below average farer with nothing extra ordinary to talk about. The only good point is Sumanth Ashwin who will surely have bright future. Commercially, this might not pose a threat to biggies arriving from next week.

'Dark Knight Rises' Earns Massive $25 Mil in Advance Sales

Pre-release tracking for The Dark Knight Rises is so big that the movie should have no trouble besting the $158.4 million opening of The Dark Knight to score the best domestic debut of all time for a 2D pic. The next big question: Just how high will the number end up?

From Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, Dark Knight Rises has already racked up $25 million in advance ticket sales, one of the best numbers of all time and underscoring the keen interest in the film, which returns Christian Bale in the title role. Newcomers to Nolan's blockbuster franchise include villain Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cottilard. Returning alongside Bale are Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. Liam Neeson, who starred in Batman Begins, also is featured.
One veteran box office observer believes Dark Knight Rises could debut in the $185 million to $195 million range; Warners insiders say $170 million is a good starting point. "Anything above that is going into unknown territory," one insider said.
Earlier this summer, Disney and Marvel's The Avengers posted the biggest three-day opening of all time at the domestic box office when grossing $207.4 million. The No. 2 opening of all time belongs to Warners' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which grossed $169.2 million.
Both those films had the advantage of being released in 3D; roughly $35 million of the opening weekend gross for Avengers came from the 3D upcharge.

There are several factors that could prevent Dark Knight Rises from reaching the level of Avengers, even though some think it could. One is the fact that Dark Knight Rises isn't being released in 3D. Another is the film's lengthy running time of two hours, 43 minutes.
On the flip side, Dark Knight Rises is getting the widest Imax release of all time, or 330 theaters. Nolan is a big fan of Imax, and shot more than an hour of the film with Imax cameras. Insiders expect Imax grosses for Dark Knight Rises to eclipse the record-breaking $15.3 million earned by Avengers.
Dark Knight Rises will have a massive footprint overall. By Friday morning, the pic will be playing in roughly 4,400 locations nationwide, virtually on par with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which enjoyed the widest release of all time with a theater count of 4,468.
Dark Knight earned $18.4 million in midnight grosses, while Avengers grossed $18.7 million.
Overseas, Dark Knight Rises opens day and date in a number of territories, including the UK.

Please do not interpret anything on your own, reading the above headline. We too know that ‘Magadheera’ from Ramcharan and Rajamouli was a stupendous hit and rewrote industry records in commercial terms. Although ‘Magadheera’ won many Awards, Mega Fans had an inner feeling that film was eligible to keep up a still better show if Allu Aravind lobbied more efficiently.

For Rajamouli, there is every chance of ‘eega’ to fill the Awards deficit of ‘Magadheera.’ We are also aware of producer Daggubati Suresh Babu as an influential person who can manage and tilt the committees in our favor. Not to mention about Regional Categories, admirers of Rajamouli are asking to nominate ‘eega’ in National Categories to show the strength and advanced technology used in making of Telugu Cinema. Let us see, how far Suresh Babu takes this burden?

'Game Of Thrones': George R. R. Martin Dishes On Season Three Writer talks casting Mance Rayder, Theon's return and season three's expectedly epic finale.

Despite the fact that Comic-Con wrapped several days ago, we're still getting over the "Game of Thrones" excitement generated during this year's pop-culture compendium.
There were a slew of new characters announced, lively banter and on-set stories shared by the cast and creator George R. R. Martin during the show's panel, and some season-three teasery from Richard Madden

"I've not met [the new castmembers], but I've seen many of them audition on videotape through the wonders of the Internet, and I think they're amazing," Martin said. "I'm especially excited about Diana Rigg, who I fell in love with when she was Emma Peel [in 'The Avengers'], so it's pretty amazing that she's in my show, and she'll be wonderful as the Queen of Thorns."
And what news is there of the casting of that feared leader of the Free Folk, Mance Rayder?
"Well, we're still looking for Mance Rayder," Martin revealed. "They're still holding auditions, so if there are any British actors out there who want a terrific part, Mance Rayder! Contact our casting director — we need one. As of a couple days ago, they hadn't cast that part yet. We're still auditioning and talking to people," he said, adding that we'll probably meet Rayder early on in the season, in one of the first few episodes.
Martin also offered some happy news for the Theon Greyjoy/ Alfie Allen fans out there who were left wondering about the fate of the Ironborn wannabe conqueror.
"I think Alfie will be back, I think so," Martin said. "But only [executive producers] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] know for sure."
Other topics covered during our brief chat was the scene from his third book Martin is most looking forward to seeing in the show, as well as how much of the book will be adapted for season three and how much will be saved for season four.
"I don't know that the word 'looking forward to' is the word I want, but I'm anticipating but also dreading a certain event with the initials R.W., and that's all I can say about it," Martin said. "What we're going to see in season three is the first half of the third book 'A Storm of Swords,' not precisely [the first half], they've already used a few things from the third book in the second season, so they're moving a few story lines around and changing a few things, but more or less [it will be the first half of the book].
What about the likelihood we'll meet Strong Belwas this season?
"No comment on that one," Martin said with a smile.

Vindu reveals family secrets, plans to make documentary on dad

Dara Singh’s son Vindu candidly admits he has a half-brother and that he plans to carry forward his father’s legacy. He also plans to make a documentary on the legend whom he describes as a metaphor for strength and power.
“We are five siblings, actually six. My father has a son from another marriage. His first marriage happened when he was barely 14. My half-brother has always been a part of the family. In fact, he was there for all the rituals after my father’s death,” said Vindu.
Wrestler-actor Dara Singh died July 12 after brief illness. He was 84.
“In deference to my father’s wish, my half-brother has always been a part of the family. He will remain so. In fact, more so now with my father gone… in this family, we are very high on responsibilities. To this day I look after my ex-wife Farha Naaz and son Fateh although we separated long back,” he added.
Dara Singh’s family is a symbol of secularism.
“In our family, we respect and acknowledge all religion and my father encouraged every kind of culture and lifestyle in our family. My brother is married to a Gujarati. My sister is married to an American. I married a Muslim and now I’m married to a Christian.”

Vindu says his father was a genuinely good human being and “that’s why we aren’t mourning his going away”.
“My father went after living a full life. For the last four days, when he hovered between this world and that, the kind of response I got just blew my mind. In the last four days, there have been 2,00,000 tweets and after his death I have to respond to over a 1,000 SMSes as soon as I get breathing space.”
Vindoo says there is absolutely no hang-ups about being a giant’s son.
“Not at all. I am proud to be Dara Singh’s son. He was very proud of me, specially after I won on ‘Bigg Boss’ and started getting good work and making good money. He always encouraged his children to do what we wanted, never stopped us from doing anything. We were all allowed to fail once in our class exams. Because we had the freedom to fail, we never did….
“My dad wasn’t scared of dying. He was scared my mother (Surjeet Kaur) would go before him. ‘Mujhe chhod ke mat jaana,’ he told her some months ago. Now he’s gone leaving her behind. We need to look after her even more now.”
Vindoo reveals he never moved out of the Dara Singh residence because all his siblings did.
“How could I leave my parents alone? If in their autumnal years they had to live alone what was the point of having so many children? I made a pledge to myself I’d stay with my parents, and I did.”
Now there’s a yearning to carry the father’s legacy forward.
Vindu is planning to put together his father’s amazing story in a documentary film and added: “It’s important to let future generations know what my father was all about. He always said, ‘I’ve made enough money for all you children to live comfortably forever. If you can’t build on my legacy don’t diminish it either.’ I’d like to carry his name forward. Dara Singh is a metaphor for strength and power. I’d like to think I can shoulder that legacy

Better Prabhas Kick them Out

Many could have never expected that a fun loving and simple living prabhas would bury neck deep in problems accepting projects with director Lawrence and debutant Koratala Siva. Yes, nothing seems to be going positive for ‘Rebel’ and ‘Varadhi’ (tentative tile) as latest updates coming about these flicks are pathetic enough and prabhas Fans would definitely need some one to console.

Due to several reasons from replacement of heroine to cinematographer, Lawrence has shown enough of ‘Paithyam’ in killing the patience of prabhas. On the other side debutant Koratala Siva’s emotional storyline with no big hype is also traveling at snail pace. Fresh rumors in market are disappointing because till next two to three months, there is no way we can have a show from prabhas. His Fans are suggesting a better option of kicking both these ventures out without wasting any more time because rarely in history we have seen such long pending projects come out as winners at BO.

Ever since 'eega' hit the screens and received super hit talk, Rajamouli is doing his best to promote the movie. The movie's latest TV ads show his creative genius. In the last scene of the movie, 'eega' dances like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu and Jr.NTR. 'eega's latest trailers are shown with those dance clippings along with the star heroes Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu and Jr.NTR. Chiranjeevi appreciated Rajamouli through the statement, 'eega is a pride of TFI' and the same statement was shown in the trailers.

'eega' collected a share of Rs. 18.26 crores at the end of its first week run of A.P. Kannada Star Sudeep's performance was one of the highlights of this movie. Rajya Sabha MP chiranjeevi has at the least in his mind to achieve the landmark of crossing 150th film. He shared the same on big stage of World Telugu Conference currently being held at London. ‘I do have it in my mind to start the 150th project but what I need is a good script and story. I wish this film should be enjoyed by one and all and also secure a special position in all your hearts,’ chiranjeevi hoped.

However, on the other side we have heard from Rajamouli that he is least bothered on directing Mega Star and at the best he can offer a story or script, only if chiranjeevi asks for. So, this keeps Rajamouli out of our option list. The next capable man to deal Chiru’s stardom can be Tamil director Shankar. Knowing his severe dislike for Telugu heroes, we can’t keep too many hopes on him. Given a miss of these two unbeaten directors, who can be the talented and best possible man for Chiru’s 150?

It's a cocktail alright, but one which lacks punch. A flat drink with no fizz and lots of salt at the rim of the glass which knocks you back with its sting.

Illuminati films churns out its third release in as many years and director Homi Adajania puts in far too many ingredients without first taking care of the base liquid that will make for a potent COCKTAIL.

The base liquid in this case is the story which is very weak. Saif Ali Khan's character is well defined, explaining him to be a flirt of the first order, chasing anything in a skirt. No issues with that. He plays that character of Gautam with aplomb.

Deepika Padukone is this fiery character (Veronica) that downs lots of tequilas, Vodkas and anything that gives her a high. She's pub-hopping every night and one does not know why she is given special privilege at a particular pub. The DJ even goes on to say, "Veronica is in the house." Excuse me, WHO IS VERONICA? Is she a rockstar, author, actor??? Nothing. She happens to be this kid who has been dumped by her rich parents and is drowning her sorrows in alcohol and men.

But the weakest link in the whole plot is the friendship between Diana Penty and Deepika. Making her debut, Diana playing Meera, an Indian girl, comes to meet her husband in the United Kingdom. Deepika and Diana meeting in the loo of a store and their being best friends in a minute is something hard to digest. Adajania was in a hurry to cement their friendship to quickly throw in the love angle with Saif Ali Khan swinging like a pendulum between the two. You then know where the film is headed, where each scene thereafter is something you know even before it unfolds.

The other actors (read ingredients) that go into making this COCKTAIL are Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, Randeep Hooda and Manoj Pahwa. Pahwa is annoyingly loud, Boman tries to do his best while Dimple, I guess, is still trying to make sense of the situation she is in. As for Hooda, his last line, "Mujhe bhi kuch bolne deenga," spells out his frustration.

What's novel about the film is the scope Saif and Deepika (to an extent) get to showcase their talent. Saif is top notch as the Casanova, while Deepika shows glimpses of brilliance. This is by far her best performance. The scene where she goes out to party with Saif and Diana and then looks on with loathing at them dancing, and the camera talking (showing her in a crowd, yet all alone) takes the film to another level. Even through a scene earlier, she says, "Someone has to lose," her portrayal shows how extremely fragile she is from within despite putting on a tough exterior.

'Spider-Man' on Track for $800 Million Worldwide

Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man has every chance of swinging its way to a worldwide gross in the $800 million range, more than ensuring a second life for the marquee superhero franchise, according to Sony insiders.

Through Wednesday, the 3D tentpole starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone has grossed roughly $408 million worldwide. That includes a nine-day domestic gross of $159.7 million.
A global gross nearing $800 million would put Amazing Spider-Man in the same range of the first two films; Spider-Man grossed $821.7 million in 2002, and Spider-Man 2 earned $783.8 million in 2004. Spider-Man 3 took in $890.9 million in 2007.
One Sony insider says Amazing Spider-Man has relaunched the franchise in "spectacular" fashion, pointing out that it's pacing ahead of other reboots, including Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.
Globally, Amazing Spider-Man and Men in Black 3 -- Sony's other summer tentpole -- now account for north of $1 billion in ticket sales. MIB3 has grossed $603.9 million worldwide.
Sony has a strong shot at enjoying its biggest year ever globally.
