Today, I have a fun, FREE Printable to share with you!

I created this Subway Art when I was making the decorations for my Son's Birthday Party

a while back.

I printed mine out in an 8x10

And slid it into a cute frame.

It was a fun addition to his little party.

But since then I keep printing them out in smaller sizes and have been using them as

Monogrammed Striped Plaque

Happy Monday Everyone!

This is, Kristy {DavesWife} and today I am here to share 

with you the tutorial for a cute sign I made!

Again this is another Simple project that I made with items I had laying around my house.

I started with an unfinished 12x12 Plaque that I spray painted Black

&

And unfinished particle board "c"  that I spray painted my favorite shade of blue.

{you can find these at most craft stores for around $1}

Next up I added the stripes.

Side Note: My original plan was to use some white vinyl but I quickly realized I was all out.

So I resorted to Plan B: Mod Podge.

I simply took a piece of white cardstock and cut {5} strips that measured 1 1/4" thick

And Mod Podged them right on to my board.

Once the strips were in place I added 2 more coats of Mod Podge to the top

{letting it dry in between coats}

Next to attach the "C", 

I used {2} Command Strips

And applied them to the back of my "C"

peeled off the backing, and pressed it onto the center of my board.

This way if I get tired of the "C" I can peel it off

without damaging it and put something else on it.

Like a Heart for Valentine's Day

Or anything else I want depending on the Holiday!

There is nothing I love more, than decorating my home

for EVERY holiday, and this makes it SUPER easy to 

change out as often as I want to with out spending a lot of Money!

Born to Shop Baby Shower

No truthful Thursday this week, but I guess I do share a little truth about my first pregnancy on this post....read it to find out :):)

I am excited to share these baby shower ideas featured in the Bird's Party magazine! I try to do things with a small budget, but still get a "wow" look.

About the theme:

My first pregnancy was a dream come true after struggling with infertility for almost 5 years. I was ecstatic when we found out we were having a girl!

My friends planned a beautiful baby shower for me, but my baby girl decided to come into the world at 32 weeks! She spent 2 weeks in the NICU. It was another dream come true bringing her home! The baby shower happened after my girl was born!

“Born to shop” baby shower idea sparked in my head with lots of bling bling, glitter and girly things! This wasn’t the theme my friends planned for me, but I have been wanting to bring my inspiration and ideas to life! I hope you love it!

Posh Pixels Design Studio created the perfect designs for this event.

Desserts:

I am a big fan of sweets! However, I didn’t want to display the same traditional cupcakes, cakes, cake pops, cookies, etc. I also don’t have the money to buy professional desserts. I suggest to pick sweets that match your color scheme. I chose strawberry yogurt, pink sixlets in a jar, and a yummy bundt cake from the grocery store! I added the pink frosting, flowers in the middle and some sparkles.

I made a simple baby carriage garland that hung above desserts table with gorgeous flowers from Postscripts etsy shop!

“Let’s go shopping Boutique!” station:

I set up a table with lots of baby clothes, shoes, jewelry, tutus, onesies, etc... I wanted to pretend the mommies coming to the baby shower were going to be shopping to welcome baby girl! She made her appearance early, but she is ready to shop! :)

I added pink nail polish inside some cute paper purses from PaperCandee Shoppe to give as thank you favors to everyone who attended.

“Amore de Bebe” Gifts Armoire

I used a black armoire in the nursery to display all the gifts brought for the baby.

This pretty banner from Icing Designs hang beautifully. The moms came in to check out the nursery and left the gift on her armoire. There were so many fun things like the decorative boxes, “Blingalicious”, onesies, tutus, bows, etc.... This baby girls was set!

I included some pretty paper chandeliers hanging off the armoire. These are adorable and you can find them from Cottage Bliss etsy shop.

A big THANK YOU to Ivanhoe Couture who owns a cute boutique and was a wonderful contributor for this event!

I have had a super insane week!!

I am actually flying to Utah this morning for the SNAP conference! Have you heard about it?

How to Make a Pinwheel

Good Morning Everyone

Happy Monday!

I am so Glad to be back to today to share with you another

Crafty Project.

Are you looking for a way to add a little Spring into your Home?

Well these little cuties are Perfect!

They are SO Easy to Make.

And I bet you just might already have all the supplies too!

For this particular pinwheel I chose to do an 8"x8" square,

but you can make them ANY size big or small.

Starting at each of your corners cut a diagonal line into the center of the square about

3/4's of the way in.

Just put a little dollop of hot glue right in the center.

Be careful not to burn your fingers!

Attach your button with another little bit of hot glue!

See?

I told you this was going to be Easy!

Now that you have a few of these little cuties made up

What do you do with them you ask?

Well here are just a few ideas...

Make a Cute door hanging by attaching them to a painted frame!

1. A Darling Mobile like this one I found on ETSY

2. Use them to decorate a gift box like Style Me Pretty

3. Use them as cupcake toppers like the Crafting Chicks

4. Another fun wreath found at Tip Junkie

The honest truth about me right now......

I just got back a few hours ago from being on vacation for 6 days. We went to California and spent 3 days in Disneyland. My feet are so sore from walking....lol

We had a great time, the weather was gorgeous and we can't wait to go back!!!

I do feel like a horrible mom because my girls went on the Space Mountain ride with us.

I wasn't sure if they would let them on but they were tall enough and they said it was fine. Hmmmm..... they were not happy with me. My little one didn't freak out as much as my oldest one :(:( I hope they forgive me some day...ha!

Happy Thursday!!!

I am thankful for all going on in my life, the good, the bad, the challenging, the happy days, and all the people in my life. This includes the phenomenal women who are behind my team.

I'd like to introduce you to Christine if you don't know who she is. She was the giveaways Coordinator, but we are making some changes. She is the new Website/Blog Manager for A to Zebra Celebrations.

Christine is the owner of Desserts & Designs, an event styling and graphic design business started in early 2011. With a background in graphic design and a degree in interior design, she loved how event styling allowed her to combine all of these passions. She lives in West Des Moines, Iowa with her husband and their two children. Follow her amazing work on Facebook. She rocks!

I am thankful for Brittany who helped with my business since last summer. She is smart, talented and kind hearted. She currently has a lot on her plate and needs to focus on other things.
