BUT an issue that needs attention are family dynamics.
I have experienced some cutthroat shit from own family, and they have put me through hell.
I had to move 3000 miles away to get away from the shit my family dishes out.

I have a son, and have paid over 23,000 in child support, BUT I have never seen him.
I've seen pictures, but haven't seen him.

So the bottom line is that families in America are crap.
Fatherless children are everywhere...
Kids that do have fathers are being turned into murderers, or they become cut-throat and hurt everyone in the process.

On Wednesday November 7th 2007 the US House of Representatives passed landmark civil rights bill that will give people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual federal protection in the workplace.

However, most people still believe the House vote was largely symbolic because it will undergo severe scrutiny in the Senate and once again President Bush has vowed to veto the legislation.

Politicians have cited many reasons why transgender people were dropped from that bill, and one of those is religion.

Although the US Constitution strictly forbids the church from interfering in State or government affairs they still determine which laws get passed and which laws do not get passed. Dina Boyer a transgender activist says enough is enough. She says we need politicians that know the Constitution and will stand up to the religious right. She also says that it is also un-American or not patriotic to take taxes from people without Representation from the government.

However, Boyer also believes that TG activist need to rethink their strategies and create propaganda that shows the real life day-to-day struggles of the TG community.

"One of those includes the ideas that if you are TG then don't sleep with someone who does not know your true gender."

She says we need activist' that can show the struggles thru video, films, books etc. It is time America takes a look inside our lives. Boyer says America needs to see how we can and will be productive members of society.

Cecilia Chung Deputy Director of the Transgender Law Center, http://www.transgenderlawcenter.org says we need to focus on the people who are not perceived as the Jerry Springer types, and focus on how we can be included in legislation that will protect our civil rights. She also believes that Politicians are always pushing us under the rug, and are neither sympathetic nor empathetic when thinking about the TG community.

I live in East Palo Alto, and I felt it. There was a noise associated with the quake, but at this time there is no apparent damage in my neighborhood. It lasted at least 15 seconds and felt like it was more than 5.6 mag.
My home shook, and stuff on shelves rattled.
My cats and dogs are still staring at the walls.

Jury in Florida aquits all guards of the brutal murder of a young African American kid in a boot camp.

Dear African American community:
As a white person raised by southerners I want to say that their not guilty verdicts is a huge travesty of justice.
Those guards beat that poor kid up and allowed him to die. Teardrops.....
At this point in time I would like see some riots over that verdict.

Fuck the Justice system...

Lets take back our country and make it a liveable place, but it will take a riot. Maybe many riots.
I would like to join in on it.....

Bush vetoes children. Pelosi drops transgender people from important legislation.
Congress and the President have become inept.
When will we stand up and fight this doom and gloom federal government and create a country we want to live in...
Because right now the UNited States is something I don't recognize, and I was born here.
It's the governments, both local and federal who are making this country a fucked up place to live.
We the people can take back this country, but we need to use techniques used in other countries during government related turmoil.

Sometimes I go on what I call photoventures. Yes I have coined a new word. It means to pick up your camera and go on a drive, or hike, or bike ride, or even kayak trip and take pictures of everything and anything that could make a great photo.
My last photoventure included a drive down a road called Del Puerto Canyon into an area that was experiencing a large forest fire. The raod was 80 miles of hairpins into areas that felt hotter than the natural environment, and was very smoky and reddish in color. Although forest fires can be deadly I find them quite exhillarating to look at, and they almost always make good pictures. I often get teary eyed when I find out they are caused by humans, but a fact of the matter, is that they are sometimes caused by lightning. Venturing near them is dangerous, but if you plan well it can be safe.
Never disobey the orders from fireman or other officials, and always stay off closed roads. Always maintain an escape route, and never get in the way of an evacuated resident.

California summers include fog, smog, smoke and sunshine. And yes it does rain, BUT some the Bay area does not get any till the Winter.
This is the one of the most adventurous States in the Union.

Adversity
In the workplace. I'm experiecing it. Its everywhere and there is never an end in sight.
It seems to be mostly dished out by men. Uneducated men to boot.

Trans March 2007 in San Francisco

So it is official I do not belong to the Trans community even though I am a MTF transsexual. I went to the Trans March and I did not feel comfortable. It consisted of mostly straight people and lesbians. The only individuals I felt comfortable with were the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Even my only Trans friend didn't want to March in it because it was quite intimidating to be overwhelmed by straight people and frickin Dykes.
Dykes or Lesbians aren't much. There a bunch of aimless nasty fucks, who commit Domestic Violecne against each other daily. I saw so many Lesbians fighting with each other it was almost circus like.
I think it is downright wierd and pathetic that I cannot identify with my own community.

Guess I'll have to find another community to hang out with....

I cannot find acceptance within my own community.

For the last ten years I have been struggling to find acceptance within my own community, but to no avail.
It's a long story, but as a white MTF transsexual living in the Bay area I do not feel like I am apart of the Transgender community. Anyone can Google my name and see the work I have done, but not once does anyone from that community ever ask me to directly participate in any public events.

After researching and reading the horror stories about the public' experience with the police I decided to write this story.

Who do we call...

...when some sexual predator is stalking, or some gang banger is crazy mad and wants to take it out on some innocent, or some person afflicted with road rage wants to attack, or our neighbor wants to vent their hate, or the car has broken down on the highway and we need help, or some crack addict is in need of his money for his fix?

According to the Office of Citizen Complaints, http://www.sfgov.org/site/occ_index.asp, 1st quarter Statistical report for 2007 83 people filed complaints against the SFPD, and the OCC dismissed 57 of those cases.

The Tenderloin Task force, the Taraval Station, the Mission, the Northern station, the Southern Station, the Bayview and finally the Central Station are the top contributors.

I wonder how many LGBT individuals filed complaints against them?

On any given day one can see the stories mounting by the public against the police.

So once again I ask you WHO DO WE CALL?

Although locally, Theresa Sparks has become the first transgender president of the police commission, I still have one burning question WHO DO WE CALL in case of emergency?

Is it better to deal with crime in our own way, by running from the police when they pull us over, by running from the criminal until they shoot or stab us, or by not calling the police when a crime occurs?

Our leaders are inept because they have had plenty of time to figure this out, and now we have no one to call in case of emergency!

The Ellis Act is being abused by Real-estate speculators, and the victims are the disabled, the terminally ill, pregnant women, and senior citizens.
A few of the Real-Estate speculators included West Coast properties, and Zachs Law firm.
Legislation is needed to stop this abuse, BUT some politicians like State Senator Leland Yee
do not take positions, so the abuse continues....

Avoiding 2-6 unit buildings, and not renting from buildings that are up for sale, are some of the precautions that renters can take to avoid becoming victims of the Ellis Act.

I never watch the Kentucky Derby, but I did on Saturday and I am impressed.
Street Sense came from second to last and won the race, and the jockey was wonderful.

You know there is alot of hoopla created over peoples looks and shape of their bodies, but for some reason or another this Imus dude seems to have made it on the air.
Women are constantly scrutinized about their looks, and bodies, BUT men can be as ugly as they can be and NOT get scrutinized or made fun of....
Thats wrong, because Don Imus is one ugly MF.
His looks should have prevented him from getting a career on the air, and now his comments support his looks.

My lover/partner is killed by a reckless driver in the lowely state of Indiana, and two weeks later the transmission goes out on my car, and I live 30 miles from my job, and it is my only form of transportation, and I live at least ten miles from the nearest form of public transportation, and I live in California.

San Francisco police are seeking to determine whether the slaying of a transgender victim found naked near the Interstate 280 freeway is somehow linked to reports of a nude woman seen walking naked on the same freeway two hours later, authorities said Monday.

Inspector Karen Lynch of the homicide detail said investigators were summoned at 5:40 a.m. Friday to Indiana and Cesar Chavez streets and found the unidentified victim of a homicide on the sidewalk.

Lynch said it appeared the victim had been in the process of becoming a woman.

"We don't have the identity on the person yet, except the medical examiner has determined that this is a homicide,'' she said Monday. "The victim was completely nude, and we are asking for the public's help in finding anyone who has seen anything suspicious or could help us.''

The victim was Latina, about 30 years old, with black, shoulder length curly hair, Lynch said. She had healed cuts that left scars on her arms.

Shortly after 8 a.m., authorities began to hear reports of a woman walking nude on the side of Interstate 280, near Highway 101. "It could have been somebody related to this person, but this person was seen walking on the freeway. It's suspicious because the woman was seen getting into a blue metallic car.''

The second woman is described as a light-skinned white woman, slender, about 5 foot 5, 25 to 30 years old, with long, reddish-blond hair. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the homicide unit at (415) 553-1145.

Tina D'Elia, hate violence survivor program director for Community United Against Violence, said she learned about the events from the police.

She said transgender victims of hate crimes and extremely violent killings, so-called overkill slayings, are frequently left partially clothed or completely nude.

"It's making a statement and humiliating a victim,'' she said. "I want to know if anyone in the community knows who she is, or had seen or spoken to her that day. It's very devastating to hear this.''
