David Brazil was born in New York and lives in California. In 2005, he started writing every day in a little orange Rhodia notebook, and he hasn't stopped yet. This audio piece was composed and recorded on January 18, 2009, and installed at the TAXT Press "Kissing Booth" fundraiser held at 21 Grand in Oakland on the same evening. Another selection from a day of notebook writing, "Spy Wednesday," is forthcoming from TAXT Press.

Frank Sherlock is the author of Over Here (Factory School 2009) and the co-author of Ready-To-Eat Individual (Lavender Ink 2008) with Brett Evans. A collaboration with CAConrad entitled The City Real & Imagined: Philadelphia Poems is forthcoming from Factory School later in January 2010. He's currently working with the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program on Journeys South, a public art project that documents immigrant/migrant experiences in South Philly.

CAConrad is the recipient of The Gil Ott Book Award for The Book of Frank (Chax Press, 2009). He is also the author of Advanced Elvis Course (Soft Skull Press, 2009), (Soma)tic Midge (Faux Press, 2008), Deviant Propulsion (Soft Skull Press, 2006), and a forthcoming collaboration with poet Frank Sherlock titled The City Real & Imagined: Philadelphia Poems (Factory School Books, 2010). Rob Halpern is the author of Disaster Suites (Palm Press 2009), Rumored Place (Krupskaya 2004) and Disaster Suite (Vigilance Society 2006). Alli Warren was born before the turn of the century and remains extant.  She is the author of the chapbooks Schema, Yoke, Hounds, Cousins, No Can Do [PDF], and with Michael Nicoloff, Bruised Dick. Mitzvah Chaps will soon publish a work variously known as That's What She Said, To From Where, What Kinds of Flutes We Should Use, Alienated Beaver, and Well-Meaning White Girl. She works in Berkeley, lives in Oakland, and co-curates The New Reading Series at 21 Grand.

K. Silem Mohammad is the author of the poetry collections Deer Head Nation (Tougher Disguises, 2003); A Thousand Devils (Combo Books, 2004); and Breathalyzer (Edge Books, 2008); as well as the chapbooks Hovercraft (Kenning, 2000) and Monsters (Abraham Lincoln, 2006). Mohammad is an associate professor in the Department of Language, Literature, and Philosophy at Southern Oregon University.

Clark Coolidge (February 26, 1939 – ) is an American poet born in Providence, Rhode Island.

Often associated with the Language School, his experience as a Jazz drummer and interest in a wide array of subjects - including caves, geology, bebop, weather, Salvador Dalí, Jack Kerouac, and movies - often finds correspondence in his work. Coolidge grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and has lived, among other places, in Manhattan, Cambridge (MA), San Francisco, Rome (Italy), and the Berkshire Hills . He currently lives in Petaluma, California.
