<p>Speaker: Hillary Brown is a Social Media Strategist at Lava Row. She returned<br />to Iowa in July 2008 after spending six years in Los Angeles, where she<br />worked for Passenger, a provider of branded online communities for Fortune 500 companies. Her experience includes online communities, social networks, and non-traditional and viral marketing.</p>

<p align="left"> <strong>PROGRAM:</strong> The title &quot;Deeper, Richer, Fuller, Better: Lessons Learned About Life, Work, and Public Service&quot; comes from advice Mary received from an interview she did with<br />actress Tyne Daley and the challenges of retirement after a 30-year career<br />in television. <br /><br /> Mary Brubaker's 30-year career on KCCI-TV&nbsp; began as an &quot;exercise girl&quot; on<br />the Mary Chinn Show. In 1967, She became the host of her own talk show and<br />shortly after also was the first female reporter in the newsroom doing<br />feature stories.&nbsp; She produced and hosted the public affairs program<br />Straight Talk; contributed to Time Capsule, a magazine show; and hosted<br />State Fair programs and many charity events, including Operation Santa<br />Claus and 25 Muscular Dystrophy Telethons.<br /><br />Active in community, political and education projects throughout the<br />years, she is a frequent speaker, emcee and volunteer for non-profits. Her honors include the YWCA's Woman of Achievement, the Business Record's<br />Woman of Influence, and the Roosevelt High School Hall of Fame.&nbsp; &nbsp; </p>
