Makeup artist Jennie Delica patiently works on a tigress backstage. Each look takes five hours to complete.

What’s so special about the outfit, you ask? Well, only that the floral get-up was painstakingly painted on by hand by a team of makeup and graphic artists and took an astounding five hours to complete.

This look – called the Red Hot Hibiscus – was the first of many equally stunning works of art to appear on human canvases at the Breathing Palette body art presentation by  cosmetic brand, Stage Cosmetics, which comes under the Alliance Cosmetic group.

Brazilian model, Bruna, wears a mask of almonds and yoghurt to portray the tree bark look in Raging Rainforest

The show was inspired by the natural beauty of Lake Gardens and the theme was meant to be a tribute to the diverse flora and fauna of Malaysia’s rainforest.

On keeping with the theme, six visual concepts were created – Red Hot Hibiscus, Raging Rainforest, Orchid Odyssey, Call of the Jungle, Sensual Serpent and Moth Mythology.

One of the more stunning works was the Raging Rainforest, painted on 24-year-old Brazilian model, Bruna. Up close Bruna’s body had pieces of bark-like material in various shades of earthy brown and moss green protruding from her skin and if she kept really still, it wasn’t hard to imagine her as a tree in the rainforest!

Still, all that creativity is a sight to behold.

This season was in top the mixture of colours and textures.The color-blocked dress consists of two or three bold colors that make a statement. At the end of the day we learned a new lesson about fashion! Enjoy …..

1. Women enjoy playing hard to get for two reasons. The first reason is because women are insecure and don’t want to risk rejection. By playing hard to get the woman can test out the waters with a man, and not really show too much interest. She can find out where he stands without getting too close herself. The second reason is because it drives men wild, and women know this. Women realize that desperation is completely unattractive and so by leaving men wanting more, a woman can keep control of the relationship and ensure that the man still desires her.

2. Women are fairly insecure about their appearances. This is the reason a women will ask her man, ad nauseam, if her butt looks big.Women want men to fall all over them, and they need to be told over and over again how attractive they are. Women spend hours of time, and tons of money trying to put every hair in place and cover all the blemishes on their face, so because of all this effort women need to hear that the fuss was worth it.

3. Women will take every mistake you ever make and will file it away inside. You may not have any idea that she is upset or that you did anything wrong, or maybe you think that she didn’t notice you stare at the waitresses large rack as she took your order, but believe me she did, and now that has been filed away to be pulled out at a later date. Women internalize things and hold on to things, then when it becomes too much, this is when they explode and bring up instances that happened months to years ago. When you can tell that your woman is upset about something, do not let her get away with the “I’m Okay” routine, as she is not really ok and she is just putting one more bullet in her tirade gun. Encourage her to talk and be open to hear what she has to say.

4. “Hell hath no fury…” Believe this little phrase. If you piss off a woman to the point in which she blows up, you had better believe that she is going to go off like a bomb, and that she will be vindictive. She will drag out her anger for days or weeks, and if you do something incredibly dumb like break off a serious relationship with her over a voice message, expect your vehicle or something else near and dear to you to be damaged.

5. Finally, and here is the biggest secret of them all, women have the keys to sex and will use them to exact control over men. Men have pretty much known this key secret forever; they just may not have really believed it. If you upset a woman she can and will take away sex. Something men really need to understand about women is this: Women are turned on and off in a way similar to a light bulb. When they get going, they can burn white hot, but screw up and they can be turned off and cold instantly. Men get turned on really quickly and stay burning for quite a while after an encounter has gone sour. Because being able to decide not to have sex even right up to the moment of intercourse doesn’t usually hurt or cause too much sexual frustration, women have the upper hand in most cases. Women know this and they will use sex to get what they want. If you ever doubt this, go to a bar and just people watch, you will see how sex and sex appeal have men falling over themselves for certain women and you will see how women really do have the control over the situation.
