You are the house that needs fixing

2022-05-16T08:05:00.000-07:00

The most important work you and I ever do will be within the walls of our own homes. ~Harold B. Lee I find this to be true in many ways. When we are not secure in ourselves, gentle with ourselves then we live in a broken home. Proper home maintenance is in order. We must repair that which society has broken down, only then can we be strong, and well.

EVEN FARMERS NEED GOOD FOOD FROM OTHER PLACES...IF YOUR'E TIRED OF LIVING IN A FOOD DESERT THAN FIND YOUR OASIES IN MISFITS FOOD BOX SERVICE

2022-04-30T13:49:00.002-07:00

If you’re tired of the struggle of trying to find fresh affordable produce and organic food then Misfits is the place for you. After purchasing from them, not only did I get a great value for my money but we received fresh lovely food with no problems. If there is a problem, a quick note to them is all you need to do and they will take care of you. Let me tell you about some of our favorite things from Misfits. First and foremost the golden beets, super sweet, and no stains, we were well pleased. We tried watermelon radishes for the first time, they were huge and juicy, even my teenage boys loved them. Did I tell you about the purple sweet potatoes, what a treat! The citrus was equally lovey, sweet and juicy and half the price of the regular grocery store. My other new favorites are from their huge selection of fresh made wholesome bread that makes meal time a delight. It’s plentiful, delicious and made from natural organic ingredients. If you want to order from them, use my link and code and save $15 on your first order, I will save $15 on my next order, so we both win amazing savings and fresh food. Tons of new lambs and rising feed costs

2022-03-17T15:53:00.004-07:00

Who does not like baby animals, I mean comon, they are super cute, but this year we are stuggling to keep up with the rising costs of grain. Its crazy as it has gone up more than 30% in just a few weeks. That means that I have to work harder to keep all the animals fed, it's sad but true. I have reduced our flock but if I continue to do that I will not have babys in August and we will go into winter with out funds to feed them. So if you would liek to symbolic buy a lamb, I would like to send you photos, stories and daily reports about their health and progress. All the money will go t their care so that we can continue farming and help others to start farming. We never charge for teaching others, we feel it is important work and appreciate any help offerd.

Tip Jar If you want to symbolicly adopt a lamb, I can send you photos and videos. Then you can pick one to love, you will be offered live video feed, photos, stories and more. Your kindness in welcomed. In this time of warm small farms everywhere like mine are stuggling to make ends meet, so please help if you can, no amount will go unoticed. As of 12-17-2021 we are once again opening the farm for business. We have developed a relatively good-sized herd of Katahdin Sheep. We still have chickens, guineas, ducks, and the recent gifting of replacement geese. This places us in a position to not only feed ourselves and neighbors but also to create a business that could fund other farm and home projects.

Our winter gardens seem to be doing well with the warmer temperatures that have blessed us so far with a mild winter. We will have beets, turnips, and kale in abundance and it is our hope to be able to sell the extra at the town square market.

We wish you all Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas, Joyous Noel, a Merry Solstice, and a Happy Kwanza, as well as an amazing new year!
