"Get Me!" is a book written in simple phrases for Stage 2. This book combines the word "get" with many other kinds of words. It's an easy reading book with icon sequences at the end for all sequenced versions of Unity.

Pronouns on the Playground

At stage four people begin to say pronoun plus verb phrases. They are learning to add “s” to verbs to make the third person present tense. The important words to emphasize are the subject pronouns plus the verb. For people who can learn and access all the words in the story, model and encourage fluency. Read the extra practice sentences. For people who are less able, model and encourage just the pronoun plus verb phrases, for example “he plays, they play.” You can use the same story to teach subject-verb agreement.

Teach phrases beginning with "i" and "you." In this PowerPoint slide show you can customize the pages by inserting digital photos of the student and you. The phrases are simple, most are two words. This material is good for stage 2 language development. Icon sequenced are included for Unity 60 and 84 with embellished icons off.
