Media Streaming is delivering audio / video content continuously over the web. With broadband spreading in every corner of the world and latest compression / delivery techniques, Media Streaming is becoming more popular. Dedicated High End / High Bandwidth servers that enable constant delivery of such content are called as Media Streaming Servers. Media Streaming Servers are used in two ways 1. On demand audio / video streaming 2. Live Streaming ( or ) Web Casting On Demand Audio / Video Streaming: This type of streaming is used to deliver pre-loaded media files. For example, play list of selected songs, pre-recorded events, pre-recorded training sessions, video tutorials, how to do video manuals, movies, trailers, prayers, masses etc. You can start and run your own FM and TV channel over the web and reach millions of audience at the lowest possible cost. Live Streaming ( or ) Web Casting This type of streaming is used to deliver live media contents over the web. This includes, live events, marriages, press releases, CEO meets, reality shows, sales events, symposiums, online lectures etc. Technology Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) is a protocol used for streaming audio, video and data over the Internet, between a Flash player and a server. The RTMP protocol has three variations: The "plain" protocol which works on top of TCP RTMPT which is encapsulated within HTTP requests to traverse firewalls RTMPS which works just like RTMPT, but over a secure HTTPS connection. The raw TCP-based RTMP protocol maintains a single persistent connection and allows real-time communication. To guarantee smooth delivery of video and audio streams, while still maintaining the ability to transmit bigger chunks of information, the protocol splits video and data into 128-byte fragments (except for audio which uses 64-byte fragments). Fragments from different streams are then interleaved and multiplexed over a single connection. With longer data chunks, the protocol only carries a one-byte header per fragment, thus incurring very little overhead. Schematic view of how Media Streaming Works ADALMA uses YBox Streaming Server environment which is built on a high end, high bandwidth platform. YBox Servers are pre-hardened and fine tuned for peak load performances. YBox Streaming Servers allow streaming in multiple mounts simultaneously without any data congestion. What is Web Hosting?

Web hosting is the act of renting space and bandwidth through a company so that you may publish your web site online.

You can either opt for free hosting that is usually supported with banners and pop ups, or may opt to get paid web hosting, which gives you complete control over your site contents.

What is virtual hosting?

Also known as shared hosting, this form of web hosting should suffice for most everyone.

Virtual hosting simple refers to the fact that your site is on one server, and that this server hosts mulitple sites. You are virtually shared - your site will not be the only one on this specific server.

Very few sites would actually need the power of a dedicated server, so this option provides to be a reliable and cheap solution.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a word along with a TLD that uniquely identifies your website.

How do I register a domain name?
Registering a domain name is very easy.

First you will have to make sure that the domain you want is available - using something called a WHOIS lookup at sites like ws.adalma.in or Whois Source you can make sure the domain you want is available for registration.

Afterwards, you simply need to visit a registration site such as ws.adalma.in to purchase your domain name.

My host offers unlimited bandwidth/space/transfer

As we explained on our scams page, it is not possible for a web host to offer 'unlimited' bandwidth or diskspace. Such hosting plans always come with clauses that restrict how much bandwidth you can transfer at a given moment, how much CPU usage you can use (which is arbitrarily decided), and so forth.

What exactly is space and bandwidth/data transfer?

Diskspace is the size your website can be. Every single letter on your website has to be stored somewhere on your web host's server. Each letter is one byte, and a megabyte is roughly one million bytes. HTML pages are usually very small, but it is the extra images, scripts, and even databases that can take up large amounts of disk space.

Bandwidth/Transfer is the amount of data the server will allow your site to send in a month. Transfer is usually measured in gigabytes - billions of bytes. Once you go over your monthly limit, a host may either shut your site down for the remainder of the month or it can charge you 'overage.' This overcharge is usually about $2.00-$5.00 per extra gigabyte of transfer.

What do I need to do to put Flash on my website?

Flash is a client side feature - it runs on the user's computer, not on your web host. As long as the user's browser has the correct plugin installed, it will run on their computer.

How do I track how many hits my website gets?

There are a few things that need to be cleared in terms of terminology:

* Hits - this simply refers to the number of 'elements' loaded on your site. If one page has five images in it, viewing that

page once adds 6 hits (one page + five images).

* Impressions - the number of times all the pages on your site are seen (also simply called pageviews). Impressions are

sometimes referred to as 'hits' which can cause confusion

* Uniques - the number of people that visited your site

So to clarify, if I visit your website, look at two pages, and each page has 5 images on it, then your stats increase by one unique, two page views, and 12 hits.

Tracking on your site can be either done server-side or remotely. With server-side statistics, log files are used to generate visitor information. This is usually much more accurate than remotely hosted solutions. In such cases, you usually have to add some javascript to your site. This javascript is then used to track visitor data.

If your host provides it (and many do), server-side statistics are a good solution.

What are PHP, ASP, perl, etc?

These are all programming languages which are referred to by their acronyms.

PHP - PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor
ASP - Active Server Pages
Perl - not an acronym

Each programming language has its own benefits and uses. It is best that you research on your own to find one that best fits your needs.

What is MySQL, MS SQL, etc?

MySQL and MS SQL are database systems. Depending on what your host provides, you can use a database to organize your data.

Do I have to change my domain if I get a new host?

No. Provided that the domain is registered in your name (as it should be), you can simply update your namservers (from where you manage your domain names) to that of your new host.

Will there be forced advertising on my site - things like banner ads or popup ads?
Not at all. You are paying for web space that is only yours - no one may put ads on your site except you.

What is Domain Parking?

Domain parking lets you buy a domain and then have a 'coming soon' page on it. This is not needed - if a domain is not parked it will simply be iinaccessible to anyone.

Most domain registrars provide this by default.

How can I pay for web hosting?

This depends on which host you decide to go with. Most web hosts will accept DD / Check. in favour of "AADALMAA Consultancy Service" Payable at Trichy.

What are subdomains?

Consider subdomains as an extension of your domain. For example, your site is www.example.com. A subdomain would be test.example.com, and another would be webhosting.example.com.

Subdomains are usually treated as separate sites from the main domain site.

What is a domain?

Strictly speaking, it is a name (See domain name below). But in common usage we are often referring to the most basic part of a group of domain names (e.g. Your-company name.com being the domain behind the names www.Your-Company-name.com and ftp.Your-Company-name.com and http://Your-company-name.com / ). In this sense it is more like an address (123 some street) for an infinitely expandable house (so you can just keep adding suite numbers :-).

What is a domain name or a fully qualified domain name?

It is a convenient name (or label) for some information that would be awkward to refer to directly. Usually that information is an IP address (which is 4 numbers between 0 and 255, e.g. 192.168.10.250).

What is a domain registrar?

A registRAR is an organization that sells domain registrations. Usually registrars have a contract with a registry, and often are certified by an organization. Some Registrars use resellers (like OpenSRS), so it may be hard to know who the registrar is. Some registrys sell direct, so the registrar and the registry may be the same organization.

What is a domain registry?

A registRY is the single organization that co-ordinates the domain registrations for a given top level domain (e.g. .com, .ca, or .info).

How is a domain registered?

Generally, the organization that wants to register a domain ( which might be an individual), contacts a registrar or visits a registrar's website, requests a particular domain name, provides some contact information, provides some other information (which may include a chosen password, and/or DNS servers, and usually payment information like a credit card number).

The Registrar then sends the appropriate information/request to the registry to complete the registration.

What is a WHOIS record?

For most domains, much of the contact information provided during the registration process is put into a public whois record.

(The .com domains are one extreme, with full info for the registrant, plus admin, technical, and billing contacts. At the other extreme is .co.uk which provides registrant name, the name of the registrar and the DNS servers.)

What are the domain contacts?

They are the people you contact if you have questions about the domain or trouble accessing it.

Just as importantly, the admin contact is the authority allowed to make changes to the domain, and the billing contact (if there is one) is where the domain expiration messages go to.

What are DNS servers?

DNS servers are what actually makes a domain name work. By work I mean that they convert a text label to the information like IP addresses that the Internet is based on. (See 'What is a domain name'.)

This is not to say that they handle e-mail, or serve web pages. Instead they direct web surfers and e-mail messages to the correct computers.

What is involved in making a domain "work"?

By "work" I am assuming that you mean setup a web page at your domain name, or enable e-mail addresses at your domain name.

The short answer is that most people simply hire a hosting service to look after their needs, which means you simply need to get the DNS servers for the domain set to the DNS servers that the hosting service operates, and they do everything else.

The long answer is that you need to get a computer (#1) configured to handle your e-mail and/or serve your web pages. You also need to get a computer (#2, a DNS server) configured to answer DNS lookups and refer requests to the first computer.

Can I make my domains work myself without hiring a hosting service?

If you are comfortable adding and configuring new software, and you have a computer connected full time to the internet, then the answer is probably "yes!" Of course, there are many good reasons to use a competent professional hosting service, but for casual or experimental use, a home computer can do fine. (Also, there are various free services on the net. You may be able to combine free dns with free webspace.)

DNS servers generally require static IP addresses, so they are not usually run from ADSL and cable modem connections... but there are a number of free and non-free DNS services (see the Google Directory or our domain-dns.com service).

There are many solutions for web server software, so I'll just provide a link to the Google directory. (Note that there are subdirectories for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix software.)

How to delete Khatra.exe ,gHost.exe, Xplorer.exe Virus

Procedure to remove Khatra.exe virus manually
1) Go to task manager and select regsvr.exe(if found), gHost.exe , khatra.exe , Xplorer.exe rt click and select end process tree.
press WIN+r or start>RUN
2) Type cmd and hit enter
3) GO to the the drive where your OS is installed
4) In the command prompt make sure you get the command line as c:\ or d:\ (this can be achieved by the command "cd .." without quotes)
5) Type attrib -s -h -r khatra.exe
Repeat the same process for the location c:\windows\system32
6) Type del khatra.exe
7) Follow the same process for gHost.exe & Xplorer.exe as they are also part of the virus.
To make sure that the virus is out of you pc , check your registry
1) win+R type regedit
2) ctrl+F type in search one by 1 the names of the 3 processes i.e khatra,gHost,Xplorer
3) search the entire registry n go-on deleting the values you find.
Is your registry blocked by viruses?
Do you get the message "registry editing has been disabled by your admin"? then follow the instructions below
Enable Registry Editor
1:Extract the file
2:Right click on the file unhook.inf and select install
Download Registry Editor below

Afterward download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware install then update then run program. You may need to reinstall your Anti-Virus program and do a update the run and remove any found virus.
