AADHAR PRATISHTHAN TRUST, PUNE requests a token of help from all of you in a humble cause of supporting some children of underprivileged families of our society for taking proper education. These children, despite having excellent academic record are facing difficulties in pursuing further education due to economic backwardness. Being a part of the same society, it is a moral responsibility of all of us to extend a helping hand to such people by donating a minor part of our earnings for this noble cause. “NAVDISHA”
New Path of Life...To Construct the Future..!!

This project is mainly to spread the literacy in people who are working on construction sites. We have a brief idea about their lives like how they are living in this modern world of new technologies. This 21st century is known as the world of computers as well as it has a potential to equally alter the world by a field of robotics. Hence, people who are away from education are dealing with many things such that how to step forward along with the society, by being a part of it. They should be aware of what is going on in the world. How the world is dealing with the different things along with modern technologies. This awareness of literacy can be able to make difference in that people who are really lag behind the society is.

We know that the people who are working on construction sites depend upon daily wages. They don’t even think about their probable future. During their working hours their children are wandering here and there which may increase the chances of addiction towards bad habits. Their parents don’t feel to send them in schools due to financial problems, uncertainty about living at the same location etc. as an effect of which they are lacking in literacy. By considering all aspects of their lives ‘Navdisha” is going to raise them up to step ahead along with the society.

Since from childhood when we enter into the school our journey starts towards developing ourselves, our future. We learn different things in the curriculum to shape up the career so that in future we can live a life powerfully and live a life we love. We take the stand for ourselves, our family and friends. But has anybody of us even think about the fact that who will take a stand for rest of the society? Well, the thing will first come in mind that yes we will do it but after quiet settling in our lives. Life goes on like a roller coaster i.e. sometimes breakdowns will come, sometimes we get the breakthroughs. But all this process is iterative. It will stop when it stops our last breathe. Finally result is that life will end like an ordinary person. There is a need to take a stand for the society to make difference in the people that will alter your life as well. It’s the time to be a part of it.

‘Navdisha” is giving you such an opportunity to contribute yourself for the society. In this project we have planned to teach around 1000 children of construction site labors in coming 4-6 months. We are designing the syllabus for them in such a way that they will feel happy to learn what we teach. Currently we are ten people all are of age group 21-27. Most of us are the part of some IT companies. We are going to contribute minimum 6 hours in a week for this campaign from our busy schedules.

• Work Plan:

Create the leaders for teaching at different sites.
Look for experienced teachers which will train us as well as help us in our project
Promote the project to builders, IT Company to get support from them.
Being in conversation with the labors so that they will be touched, moved and inspired by our job. And as a result of which they will send their children to develop their future.

As the name of project suggests, for constructing the future we need a huge support from the society. Every work can be effective only when that is done in group. And whole society is a group. We should come together by contributing ourselves by some way or the other to bring distinction in their lives. To successfully achieve our goal, we need funding to make available food for children, computers to play games and study kits which may include some books, pencils etc.

• Barriers which may come in between ‘NAVDISHA:

Funding is the main issue which should be solved so that we can successfully walk on our path to achieve
Taking such an activities for kids so that they will be attracted and inspired to learn more and more with us.
Teaching in an effective manner after getting trained by experts
Time period is too short to teach

• Intensions and outcomes of the project:

We took a stand for the people to make difference in their lives. At the end of the project 100 students involved can read, write in Hindi, Marathi and have basic knowledge about calculations up to 4 digits in English and Marathi. That will make difference in their community amazingly. Those kids will love to learn something new exist in this world, they will have an access to different fields rather than just a construction work. Kids can innovate their future depending upon their interest. Their parents will really get impact towards education.

People who will participate to get it done will get a satisfaction to contribute themselves for the society. They will get a chance to express which will empower them in their all aspects of life.

“Navdisha” Project helps young people engage with social issues and realize they can make real contributions in their society through their participation.

“Aadhar Pratishthan Trust” functions with the help of young members and volunteers who participate in the activities. If you are interested Aadhar Pratishthan will be highly obliged to make you a part of the organization.

"Aadhar Pratishthan Trust” is a dignified NGO based in the city of Pune (State of Maharashtra, India) with over 4,000 active members all over the State of Maharashtra.
At Aadhar, we strive to spread social awareness among rural as well as urban communities for the welfare of human society and bring about constructive socio-cultural change. Our social service programmes focus on today’s rampant yet vastly neglected issues. In this light, we conduct Educational Projects, Health Awareness Programs, Self Employment Programs, Women Empowerment Programs, Medical Camps, Rehabilitation Projects (for the Disabled), Child Labour Projects, and Environmental Awareness Programs for slums and rural as well urban areas.

Since Aadhar, at its very root, was an initiative by the Indian youth from all sections of the society, so does it chiefly aim to create a wide platform for all youth to come together, join hands and actively participate in reforming and rebuilding the society according to everyone’s rightful needs. Also, the core aim for such a mobilization of youth is to garner among them the spirit to take up social work and be the inspiring activities.

In order to understand our work, it is also important to note that Aadhar, unlike numerous organizations in the field today, stands out in two respects where its administrative as well as functional policies are concerned:

• We do not take measures to secure government-sponsorship. It has never been a part of our agenda. All our funds are generated from individual contributions by Aadhar’s volunteers, workers and willing contributors.

• We do not support the idea of having an administrative hierarchy. The concept of a squat (or even lavish) concrete structure with cabins, air-conditioners and boardrooms does not exist. The organization, of course, has a board of directors – founding members of the organization – but the name is only ceremonial. There are no officers as such, no payrolls, no offices; only willing volunteers.

At present, the organization has over 4,000 active members all over Maharashtra. We coordinate the work between the different cities of Maharashtra (chief being Thane and Pune) where several members of Aadhar are actively working to bring about social welfare for the needy: work in each city/town being headed by the respective director of that area. In this manner, we work for the development of underprivileged communities, tribal communities, slum dwelling populations, people with incurable diseases (AIDS, Cancer) or physical disabilities, street children (in conflict with law, or those in need of care and protection); and, at the same time, we organize programs to spread awareness about such issues. However, environmental awareness, child education, women empowerment and supporting underprivileged communities are our major concerns because of the magnitude of these problems. We also manage and uphold “Income Generation Projects” to support needy and poor people. Educational and health camps are organized for tribal communities, slum dwellers and poor (as well needy) people: all of which aims to bring about social, economical and financial stability (and sustainability) to our society.

We also conduct CSR (Corporate social responsibility) activities for corporate sector industries looking to do social service.

An Appeal for Help! - SWANAND MAKASHIR

Dear Friends,

Time has come to show the entire world and set an example for others and let them know what a handful of people can do and bring the change as being the change.A genuine help is required for someone who is in dire straits.

Here's an opportunity for AADHAR TEAM and their fellow friends,relatives,family members,neighbours to help the person who's been bed ridden from last 2 years & has already paid out approx. 4 Lakhs on his medical expenses and now his family doesn't have a penny to pay when it is required most. This guy had met with fatal accident 2 years back & now fighting against everything with a hope that he will again stand on his feet & fulfill his dreams.With this hope one fine day this guy has approached us to seek the help for his Ortho surgery which would possible if he has atleast Rs.35,000-40,000.

I ,being a member of "Aadhar Pratisthan Trust" humbly and with all conviction appeal to all of you to help us as much as you can to bring back life for one of our friends.I don't know how to convince you guys and presumably unsure "Will I", but one thing is sure If you go with your gut feeling, I am confident that every one of us can contribute a decent amount of money to bring smile back on SWANAND's face and “win this battle for him.Doctor has already confirmed that after this final opearation,he would be able stand on his own feet and again everything will come back on track as it was before.
