Meditation - reaction

2025-06-28T10:21:00.000-07:00

camera - eyes | speaker - mouth | microphone - ears | mouse - skin | content - taste

As such a computer even after having limbs comparable to human doesn't react without proper input.

"I feel it is in meditative state"

how to prove above statement ?

The simplest answer to why meditation is needed, is to understand who I am really.

The lessons taught by great teachers who understood essence of Vedas come to our aid.

we are not limbs, we are not even intellect we are not thoughts.

we are just Chaitanya within!!

we are not mouse, camera, mic, speaker, etc. we are not processor, we are not command.

But we are current / power.

Now what should we as Chaitanya do is to put best use of the given accessories that action?
Solution is given by Sadguru with whose grace we get to read scriptures like Gita.

What Gita tells us is, till your goal is known one should be occupied with Yagna, Tapam, Daana

Yagna is also described in good length and in one statement, Bhagavan says Yagnanam japa yagnosmi [Chanting is my form among all Yagnas]

Tapas is described with help of ahimsa satyam akrodham [non-violence, truth, calmness]

Charity - Daana is not something new to be explained everyone finds peace by doing that.

But at end of day why are we drawing these parallels between human and computer and linking it to meditation!!

Peace of a human becomes piece as he tend to react

So he has to be like a computer, which, with all limbs doesn't react, for everything and anything, but for perfect programmed command.

Bhagavan mentioned this in gita Shabdadeen vishayananye indriaagnishu juhwati
Burn the input at the place of tapping. if you hear leave it, if you see leave it, if you talk restrict it.

But look at the training given to the human right from day one, one or other sound is made to attract attention and such is training to a kid to respond to small and big things. After growing up with this training it gets even more difficult to unlearn.

Humans have to program themselves by knowing the priority through meditation and till then do activities that help them safe guard that practice.

What is wrong in reacting to everything, nothing as long as you or those around you are not disturbed, but 99% of time doing so means brain is filled with garbage that is never going to help and there is no auto garbage collector that can help brain be sharp.

This is what Gurus gave us meditation and this is how we need to disconnect.

Finally if we are not able to meditate we need to look at the computer that we always hang on with may it be in form of mobile, laptop, desktop it call it anything, tab, tv, washing machine, dishwasher everything has a processor, in a way are we not living among examples on how to restrict reaction AGAIN if we don't have time for meditation we just need to look at these try to map them to ourselves and keep learning - maybe this comparison would help increase time of meditation or decrease garbage process.

Finally focus on Krishna.

Jaya Guru Datta.

Aspiration Vs Eligibility

2025-01-01T01:36:00.000-08:00

What we aspire at end is peace.

Whole of eastern philosophy would drive you inside to find it. Yes there is a wrapper around this philosophy that might seem like an fancy cover due to which we might find it weird or difficult to get into core of it. This fancy cover is the whole environment that encompass things called, Pooja, Vrata, Homa, Yagna etc.

But the core of this topic is to look at Eligibility vs Aspiration so let's not go inside now itself.

The complexity of this philosophy is the reason outsiders convinced a great section of Indian population to adapt certain method of education.

Again discussing the education system is also a de-tour to central topic.

But everyone aspire peace and most of them find peace in capability to be able to have enough resources to meet any needs planned unplanned. Major part of that resource is Money.

As this piece is being written in 2025 let's consider 25 it is product of two 5s, so could be case with the resource if we are really taught to multiply it, and it is evident most of us can't multiply the resource as easily as we do it with the number.

We cannot do means we are not eligible to do so.

When one who is not eligible starts to handle money one will impact self, if its head of family the family is impacted, if its the head of a team set out to achieve task the task itself is under threat.

Who will tell if one is eligible no one would be able to judge.

One with aspiration without eligibility dives into any task is bound to do two things.
Sink to bottom or to strive and swim across. This might sound obvious but unless one always keeps this in mind and keep reviewing it for oneself that person is bound to create a bit of unrest.

Now comes the biggest challenge where one who is not eligible is out on a mission and is also aspiring and worst part is a partial flow of resource opened up which one doesn't want to give up.

We find a lot of people on the face of earth in this category they don't free up the space of course they too have an ego which is schooled by the non-eastern philosophical method. And more than these kind of people we find those who suffer due to these ineligible lot.

Now can we wipe off those ? In case of a job that one can be fired, yes there is a family behind such person dependent of the flow of resources brought in but for a minute if we forget that family and want to free a team of people being effected as they are high in number, will this solve.

What if it is in case of a family member, the far we can go is not to talk to them for years together.

What route will the aspirations of these people take.
Will we get replacement to them, will that replacement be better than this one.
The probability is always 50-50.

The wonder that human has with age is to focus all the reasoning in proving their point to be correct. If they consider investing 10% of that effort in analysis toward what if there is another perspective world would be .0001% better

After this lengthy war on these ineligible aspirants should we conclude that there is no other way except they getting better on their own. Is there no solution for the so called huge population that is effected.

Well the solution that I would want to propose if from the unplanned 1st paragraph of this post going inside following eastern philosophy, can everyone reach depth of solution, we instead of saying Yes/No I would say irrespective of result one has to start off in this journey.

This is a kind of mandatory journey because everyone could be possibly that ineligible one in story of someone else.

Now you might ask, in beginning you classified the one giving me trouble into a group and me into victim lot and now you are merging all. I second you, but if you consider the following point you may say yes I agree the merger.

The whole aspect of someone else causing us trouble is created by our brain. The main reasons for this are the conditioning from past, framework with which that relation is acting now.

Both are concrete and you allowing them to cause pain is main issue that is not allowing you to focus on main topic of find a solution to issue if one is there.

So dear victim you too have a flow of resource which you want to continue
There will always be someone who is clearly ineligible of his current position and is not open to learn the art of adjusting in that role

But the clear solution is to clear your mind and proceed in the main path you always want to be on the path of peace.

May that peace lead you to true eternal bliss.

Habit of listening to NO

2024-03-02T06:20:00.000-08:00

We have many books that talk about how to say No.

Shouldn't we also write few on how to listen to a No ?

My daughter [4] has an issue with word "No", yes you read it correctly she cannot listen to someone saying "No" to her, the reaction and the sound associated with the reaction varies from person to person and I get the highest and best volume somehow she knows I like good music in high volumes, and its even bigger Yes to say that our own kids crying is also music, and what coming from window of next house is [You are good reader and I know you already filled blank so I will not add]

If you want to ask

"Why do you want to write a blog to tell that your girl cries each time you say "No"", my focus is on grownups who cannot take No. We find them all around, but let's talk about those in office.

Again why about only people in office, as of today they are the ones who are eating biggest chunk of my time's pizza, I will write about other walks when they start to bite my time pizze more.

After a point of time in career when one goes into position of taking decisions people don't like to listen to No, this is true, people want to get things done one or other way.

If things keep rolling in this model the person who is getting them done will have stronger conviction on his style.

Again I am talking with experience in India and about Indian IT environment, I am sure others would also have mapping of this traits here and there.

What is wrong in getting things done.

How are you getting them done is more important. Like I mentioned above if a person is getting things done by always pushing it, on long run the quality of product is going to be not so good. This is known even to a kid I need not write a blog for this. But I am here to write about some trends that happen due to such style of working.

1. Those with less experience
These are people on whom we put more load thinking they will learn and we get to push a major chunk to deliver, but in background these people are only learning to find better places outside and market always has people who hire this single digit experienced people. [1st Frustrated class]

2. Those in middle of the ladder

These are in the middle path only to get stamped on their face by everyone trying to go up or those who think they need to go up, these are bigger frustrated Chunk.

So to have a pit stop and see what is being written again quickly
1. Too much push always becoming way to work

2. Frustrated Chunk is raising in the really working class.

There are people who make noise as 1st circle around this frustrated chunk and say we are guiding these folks to goal, but since those shouting folks circle the frustrated folks, the English goal becomes Hindi gole [round], you know these people and probably you are scolding them every now and then in mind, so I acknowledge them and don't write more about them and waste your time here too.

Our goal is to see how the frustrated folks who are surrounded by circles and circles of shouters be saved.
HaHa saved its very big word, maybe we can give them some hint on what is being lost in that circle and if they understand and fix it, those circling around them might back off a feet distance giving them time to breath, let this be critical point of this post and then let's conclude post that.

Time is being wasted

You have all the rights to say "Yes we already know if what you are doing here nothing less."
since you read till here I just wanted to share a new perspective on how it is getting wasted.

1. people don't share correct procedure / content of certain work to be done and create first string on our path strucking to which we fall on our face and break our nose.
2. While are sneezing due to step 1 we have a deadline imposed by many people we spoke about because they are bent on deciding to deliver on any cost
3. We thus end up sitting on same topic for longer than needed

In rush of delivering not just what is in hand but all that we promised without creating a strong base 1-2-3 keeps going in loop.

This is last point I don't want to waste more time..............

Hence 1st and foremost things a good leader has to do is to find and stop the time waste and to do this he/she needs to develop habit of listening to No, then they will know.

Thanks for reading.

PS:

want to add one more point

I want MSteams to charge call feature and group call feature separately on hourly and minutes basis imagine what Microsoft can earn

At least someone should benefit from the use of resources

Corruption

2024-01-18T21:46:00.000-08:00

India loves to debate about corruption even after knowing that there is no single solution that works effectively to wipe it off.

THE MAJOR EFFECT OF CORRUPTION IS DELAY IN WORK.

Everyone thinks others have to change for the corruption to end.

Moreover they think its only restricted to government establishments and those who have loads of money are the main reason for corruption.

And the biggest misnomer is that the private sector is free from it.

I have discovered one thing, corruption is everywhere and is the way of living in this world, except that levels of its presence is high in some places and very low in others.

Why am I writing this here?

Because I felt I discovered one of its form which is dangerous not just to one person but to many generations to come.

I just pray that there is a new kind of industry to work that would take over the current trend of working in IT.

I would now connect 3 points I have mentioned above.

1. Corruption

2. Its presence in IT

3. My prayer for a new industry for next generation to work.

IT/Software whatever we want to call it, is a very peculiar industry where people have to depend on other person for certain aspects of work.

IT/Software is also place where there is no restriction in timing of person starts and ends work.

IT/Software is one that can be sold/bought/services are offered round the clock.

Considering the nature of this round the clock business and person's own clock of starting and ending work day is one aspect where delay can be introduced in work, another aspect is people with-holding the knowledge, these two points make IT more prone to corruption than any other sector.
only positive side is the real customer is not effected by this kind of corruption moreover he gets quicker solutions.

Randomness of work day is coloured as flexibility but its real shade is indiscipline.

With-holding of knowledge is termed as Subject-Matter-Expertise real term is insecurity.

Why should we be worried about such a format of corruption, and want to pray that next generation should get another stream to work in?
Because may be 2 or 3 out of 100 people working in this IT field would be able to put their own priorities on top of work and live the way they want majority would be followers and at least 40 of 97 would be corrupt and rest are just the effected chunk, while in the 57 there might be 7 who can swim across in any condition but 50 are just pulling days and if we have categories and sub categories where in people eat off time from each other
This time that has to be spent with family or for self improvement is being eaten away, and our next generation is learning this randomness of life as a way to live.

Our parents have lived a disciplined life due to limited work hours yes they had financial stress but they had time to spend with us.

We saw teachers, bankers, farmers, Govt-Employees as the professions our parents took up, even those in private sector who did long hours were not bothered about work once they came home, but this IT/Software never vacate your mind space, leaving not time to sharpen your brain and get an idea to invest time wisely.

Even I saw parents who insist on discipline in the kids working on IT but the pull of indiscipline in this sector is so strong and stronger is the financial mismanagement by kids like taking bigger loans and entangling themselves to endless work-hours telling they need more to re-pay and maintain life-style.

Just because we don't have that much financial issues the real time of life is being eaten away.

before calling others I agree I am corrupt, I am writing this a note for myself, maybe I would try to climb into a stage where I can use my time better and be better example for my kids.

Am I asking to stop working hard, not take the extra mile that is needed to excel in career?
No that's not my message, I am only worried about the time that is getting wasted.

It is getting wasted and people think its getting utilized.
They are convinced it is correct,
That's my only worry.

Thanks for giving your time to this topic.

Jeeneki chahat to....

What if Rama said No to Sita

2023-05-14T02:53:00.012-07:00

Simplification has been the motto behind any scripture written in India!

Veda Vyasa Maharshi classified Vedas and said these are complex so I have to simplify

Veda -- Vedanga -- Sootras -- Upanishad -- Purana -- > This is where he left simplification probably he would have covered last mile human of population then available and would have felt his simplification succeeded.

But then the more days passed people might not have gone to the top most knowledge and simplified what is in hand as a result we have concept of Eka-Shloki

The Eka Sholki for Ramayana starts as

aadau Rama tapovanadi gamanam drushtwa mrigam kaanchanam

This is my attempt to apply a learning from this shloka to day-to-day life so I felt like not writing full Shloka initially but its a job of merit to think of Ramayana so let me copy-paste full shloka so that you -- my reader also get the benefit

ādau rāma tapovanādi gamanaṃ hatvā mṛgaṃ kāṃcanaṃ
vaidehī haraṇaṃ jaṭāyu maraṇaṃ sugrīva saṃbhāṣaṇam .
vālī nigrahaṇaṃ samudra taraṇaṃ laṃkāpurī dāhanaṃ
paścāt rāvaṇa kuṃbhakarṇa hananaṃ etadhdi rāmāyaṇam..

https://shlokam.org/adaurama/

And now we will continue what if Rama said No to Sita-mata's request to get golden deer

She would have got upset with him, she would have been upset for few hours and yes that would impact Rama for some hours and also LakshmaNa, but Rama felt this is a small task and took it up which changed the course of their life forever, they were upset for a longer duration in the life but the story remained in lives of humanity and would remain forever.
Now we also quite often get into situations where we take a step and it opens up box of pandora and roller coaster drive triggers on its own.

Was it in Rama's thought process to say yes / no based on a lengthy discussion or just he thought let me do it.

Do we get time to think this much before we take any next step or do we just take it to get out of current situation.

This makes me think that even if we are not aligned, there is a power that is running business logic in cloud container called brain, so let's go with flow.

Now you might ask will my story be same as Rama's if I go with all Chaos, Yes of course, because Rama's story is not written to tell us how Rama lived but it is telling us how to live, we have to live Rama's way -- that is being tranquile in any condition.

Hope I have kept it simple enough, a famous Telugu vaggeyakara [composer-lyricist] said - "Takkuvemi manaku Ramundu okkadu undu varaku" meaning "what do we lack in life as long as Rama is in it?"
We lack nothing, have a great life.

Jai Shri Rama
Jaya Guru Datta.

We stopped living step by step

2023-05-11T05:29:00.001-07:00

When we don't know how to use a thing, we end up misusing it.

It used to take days to deliver a handwritten letter, but if we open some boxes on the attic having letters may they be 10 years old or 100 years old when we read them we feel good.

But now it doesn't even take any time to send a message, while we see other person is typing we prepare to answer.

I always liked the way R K Murthy sir started his day, he used to bow in front of his desktop at office with folded hands and start the CPU, I know people who don't shut down the GenX laptops for months or sometimes unless an upgraded forces them with a timer starting 8 hours before it can say "I will reboot now"

2 examples are enough now imagine your own story about

1. Camera

2. walkman, disk man, mp3payer

3. dvd player VCP, VCR

4. TV

All being mercilessly murdered by your favorite object in life "mobile phone"

Heights of misuse is with internet and when it gets along with laptop you are done.

while some people are now talking about ChatGPT which would take over lives of humans by taking over jobs.

are we really living now I think we are just feeling we are better with these but someone else is making use of these for their best interest and we really don't know who it is.

I pray that everyone including me one day get out of this misuse.!

Engineering

2023-05-09T20:43:00.005-07:00

Try to google engineering and probably 1st result you would see is something like

Engineering is the designing, testing and building of machines, structures and processes using maths and science. Studying it can lead to a rewarding career.

Is this rewarding career able to build a rewarding life ? sometimes yes sometimes no manyatimes not known.

From past 17 years I have been an engineer and have been living among great group of engineers.

Like everyone breath they have issues too.

I wonder how come Engineers have issues by definition they have to design, test, build using math science.

By definition their job is to create solutions to issues using all knowledge acquired, not just in matter of months or years but it is more than a decade of learning that goes into getting an engineer out.

How come still they are frustrated?

How come they are still miserable?

Ask me why I feel they are frustrated and miserable, just look at amount of memes that come of office, work-life-balance and look at the kind of sad managers who spent years rotting in same place to get to top and got to top only to understand they problems have tripled.

Now if I ask people to think about their life and use logic they might get into loop of overthinking, because they don't know what to think about.

So to conclude my expectation is....

Apply your education in your own life first

Build tools and process that keep you happy, it is never too late to apply what you have studied.

your engineering skill is not finite and the employer who has enslaved you will not fire you just if you attempt to apply any skill to your own life to make it better

if you are engineer it is not that you only need to use that knowledge at a job, your life is more important than just a job

Please be a happy human by being Engineer of your own life.

యదలో దత్తుని నింపుకుని, అధిగమించు ప్రతి అవరోధాన్ని.

I have heard a lot of music,
felt that it can turn back tragic,
But, Guruji have shown, the real Magic,
healing the people, beyond the logic.
