FWIW, "FB" is how I write FaceBook, mostly because I'm lazy, but also because most people know that's what FB is. I have a weird relationship with social media. A part of me loves it, but also because I have chosen to keep my kink compartmentalized away from my vanilla life. As a result, I am careful about being too open.

With that in mind, I do enjoy how playful kink can cross over into the mainstream and I figured since I don't have time for a long update, I'd share a couple little things about FB.

First, you never know what you'll find when you go through someone's pictures. And though I am not out and about on the prowl, it's fun to see what those who are out and about are up to - because not all FB friends are created equal ;)

Now for me, since I'm so private with my kink, there are VERY few crossover friends. Nothing personal, but I really don't want these two worlds to mix. With that in mind, I do sometimes adventure out with a sassy remark here or there - mostly to try and get a funny. Occasionally someone will post something that really piques my interest, like in this instance when my friends' wife got a hold of his account and posted something totally F/D on his profile...Though he never gave me a hint that he might be kinky, I actually wouldn't be at all surprised if that particular guy was a bedroom sub. He's just got that vibe. Either way, his wife clearly knows how to update a status!

It sure is interesting to wonder sometimes, and there's one woman (this is a shot of her with her sister, and I'm not sure which is her...) who I think is a kinkster. She has made just too many updates with a total FemDom tone; from talking about how her boyfriend is doing the dishes, to talking in a sexy way about hurting a boy she's hot for... it all makes me think that she's for real. One of the blogs that I've always kept an eye out there is Ms. Marie, a lifestyle dominant female. She's been blogging for about 18 months now, and at the start she was VERY prolific - averaging over 20 posts a month. But that's slowed over the last year. Greatly. With only 2 total posts from July to September. I had feared that this lovely Mistress was burned out (which happens, all too often to bloggers.)

Its been very interesting over the last year and change to see how the style and tone of it all has evolved. And when I logged in there today and saw the picture she posted from last Thursday, wow. I like their blog for a slew of reasons, and I find their relationship to be one that I'm very happy to see and read out there on the web. They're a wonderful example of an FLR. It's not just that we're like minded that brings me to her blog. There are some definite differences in interests too. Ms.Marie has talked about seeking a FemSub to join them, and perhaps cuckolding. The former is something I'd probably enjoy, the latter is a total buzz kill for me. Sometimes I wish her hubby would post his thoughts, or maybe have his own blog, where we could get his insights - though its likely I just want to be able to vicariously imagine I'm him. And other times I'm very glad it's solely the female dominant voice.

And really, what's not to like about all that? I am very happy that they've found their dynamic, and I'm grateful that Ms. Marie shares their lifestyle with us. I wish them both the best on their journey.

BTW, a little side rant... What's up with so many people who seem not interested in taking care of our physical health? If you are like me, and want mainstream society respect us, perhaps we could be a good example by ourselves more than the average. We don't all have to look like super athletes, but if we want people to see us as mentally healthy, isn't trying to be physically healthy a good reference point?

Ok, this is the way my fetish mind works (and how some things get on this blog.)

Yesterday I read an article about upcoming funny movies. One film mentions actress Judy Greer playing a shrewish wife (which can be kinda hot.) As I can't recall who she is, I find her on IMDB.

She's got one of those lovely tight dancer bods (actually was a ballerina first btw) - and has the kind of sharp features that can really work for me. A little bookish, but bright eyes and well... so far so good.

FYI - the super long 120mm cigarettes are very rare in mainstream films. So I get a copy of 13/30, and scan through it fast. FYI - it happens around the 45 min mark in my copy of the film. The denial of denial

I'm in a strange place emotionally. Yesterday I realized that this blog had crossed the 4 year milestone on 12/3/11; and that started me on a little trip down memory lane. It also took me to a few blog entries which had bad links, and the one that was very much a part of what inspired this blog, Ms. Arachnoidea's super elaborate corset.

As I mentioned previously, things are in transition in Casa D'Aarkey. I don't know where it will all go, but everything has been put on hold - for several reasons, most of which I don't want to mull over.

And it's been interesting. One of the weirdest things for me, and which has been really pushing it's way into my psyche again, is chastity. This is the longest I've gone without putting on a chastity belt... probably since I first got one back in 2003. And the fact is, I miss being kept in chastity.

I don't think I miss it enough to put it on myself yet. The control aspect of the denial was always a big part of the appeal (and grew to be much bigger as I played with it more.) So doing that to myself - with the keys in the mail kind of thing, I don't know that it would work.

I'm quite sure I could get the keys held, but do I really want that even is something I wonder. The idea of asking to be locked up for X period of time is so completely different from being told I'm being locked up. I just don't think I could get my head into the right mindset where I would enjoy it, ya know?

I still get regular inquiries from people about chastity. After starting the Chastity FAQ a few years ago, I became a bit of an expert on it in a few circles, and as such, people still point people my way with questions. And I really am happy to help. The gushing notes I get from a sub or a keyholder about how chastity has impacted their relationships is always awesome.

But I actually get a bit jealous now.

Delicious Deborah Ann Woll

While Deborah isn't a household name yet, I suspect most folks will recognize her from her role as Jessica Chamby from HBO's uber campy True Blood. TB is one of those shows that I've learned to love to hate. Season 2 was the only 'good' season IMO, and without Jessica in TB, I'm sure I'd have quit watching by now.

Her character is *THAT* hot. The usually reluctant "Ooops, did I ravage and kill you?" young vampiress pushes my buttons, big time. The only way I'd want her off the show is if she was going to do a spin-off series *hint hint*

I'm not alone either. Jessica spends most of her time either in her waitress outfit, or floral dresses - while feigning this delicious innocence and beauty, while still oozing sexuality. She has most guys (and many women) completely enthralled. She's pretty much the only reason I watch at this point.

The only other woman on that show who holds any of my attention is Kristin Bauer, who has some great fetish style - but seems to be too minor a role in the show to really flourish.Even Evan Rachel Wood was actually a bit disappointing in her brief role in the series. Evan can be sooo hot too, but her character was more vapid than vampire. And the female lead of True Blood, Sookie, has a body that's out this world, and yet is able to annoy me to no when where I keep hoping that a meteor will fall out of the sky and crush her and her saccharine love interest, Bill.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, when word of Deborah smoking in a couple of movies, Little Murder & Catch .44 hit my ears, I was hopeful. After watching them both, I think Murder is the better of the two. Although she has a 5 or 6 smoking scenes in Catch, the one scene in Murder tops the quantity IMO.

In Catch, Deborah looks disheveled, panicked and sweaty. Plus, she often holds the cigarette awkwardly. Sometimes between her thumb and pointer finger (trucker macho style), and on one occasion between her ring & middle fingers - and while I find the former truly unattractive, the latter is simply distracting.

In the one scene in Murder, while she still appears a bit awkward smoking, she also looks much prettier, and holds it in a more attractive manner. There are a couple of genuine inhales and exhales. Yesterday's responses by my good friends Advochasty & HMP reminded me of just how some little subtle things can make, or break, a persons fetish zone. I'm sure anyone who's played in real life, has learned that those "perfect scripted moments" in our pervy minds are very rare gems in the real world.

I love this ad campaign and their slogan: "Just the Right Amount of Wrong" reminds me a bit of one of my expressions: "A good and proper mistreatment." ;)

They had another ad with a song that I had to find, "Booty Swing" by Parov Stelar. After seeing these two ads, if I ever go back to Vegas, I'm definitely putting the cosmopolitan casino at the top of the list.

DD #44 - Ballet Heels & Corsets

Someone sent along a few photo sets to me from ballet-heels.com to cheer me up, and cheer me up they did. Normally I'm not a big fan of extreme heels - though I'm sure some would say 5" or 6" can be pretty extreme too. Either way, ballet shoes is one of the few fetishes out there that I don't actually have.However, pretty women in latex, and corsets, and ballet heels, well that works for me! OT : Aussie Floyd

I went and saw this group last night in Miami Beach and it was just what the doctor ordered. I'm a huge Floyd fan, and have seen Gilmour's Floyd 4 times, and Roger Waters solo twice, as well as his new Wall Tour. So, I know my Floyd ;)The Australian Pink Floyd Show, aka. "TAPFS" was right up there, with a big stage show, props and excellent musicians. The girls who did Great Gig were better than the ones that Gilmour had with him on the Pulse tour (YT link.)

They tour all over the world, and are heading off to Europe again, I highly recommend it to any Floyd fans. Great music, good fun... and I didn't expect to ever hear "Careful with that Axe played live! But for those of you who aren't as well versed in your Floyd, I present a more well known clip too, that not only got a standing O, but choked me up.

American Horror Story

Time for a brief review of the new F/X show: American Horror Story

1) This show is awesome, if you take it with a grain of salt and accept that it's got plenty of silliness going on.

2) I highly recommend that you watch it from the start if you can. Not that it's full of twists, but if you jump in now I think that it would not be nearly as fun w/o the build up. Plus you'll ruin some of the twists for yourself. It's on F/X - I'm sure they'll re-air it if you can't find it on demand or dare to torrent download it. And if you don't know what torrents are, I'm not going to explain it, you can take your own risks and learn to be a haxxor on your own ;)

3) Though the young girl smokes on the show, I don't suggest it from a fetish stand point. She's very much doing the awkward high school girl learning to smoke thing, which makes sense since she is a young girl IRL, and so is her character. Jessica Lange still looks awesome for her years and has a real style to her, but her smoking appearances are not super frequent. I submitted a full review to the smokingsides.com site, if you want more info on that.

4) I'm a jumper and not a screamer.

5) I think the maid is my all time favorite horror character twist. I love love love the whole approach to her character, and if you can't figure out it out from the little animated gif here, well you'll just have to watch the show.

6) I know my wife finds latex guy a bit more creepy than hot "at this point." However Dylan McDermott's 50 year old uber buffness will make you feel flabby no matter how old you are. I have to keep reminding myself that all he has to do for a living is work out and pretend to feel feelings, while I'm here slaving over a hot monitor ;)
