[Recipe] Japanese Cheese Cake

Hello everyone,

I posted a picture on instagram (@asianbeautysecretsuk) few days ago about my japanese cheese cake.

Since I got a lot request about how to make it and the recipe so I would like to share with you all here.

I am not professional, I just love cooking and baking also it is my first time doing recipe so hopefully it does make sense to you all. Feel free to comment if you have any questions I will do my best to answer.

Japanese Cheese Cake as known as cotton cheese cake or souffle cheese cake. It is very fluffy and creamy. I tried a few recipes on the internet, and the one I am going to show is combined a few recipes and change the portion of the ingredients. Since I don't like it too sweet and I like the cheese tastes very strong.

Therefore it is going to be a LOW in SUGAR , LOW in BUTTER version of Japanese Cheese Cake. It sounds a bit heavier and not as guilty when I am eating it.

It is very very easy all you need it is time and heart :)

What you would need? (for sure)

Oven
Electric mixer
Cake pan
Baking tray
Kitchen Foil

Ingredients
Cream Cheese 280g
Butter 30g
Egg 4 (separated) Milk 200ml
Sugar 70g
Cream of Tartar 2g
Plain Flour (aka all purpose flour) 35g
Corn flour 10g

Preparation

Oven Pre-heated at 160'C
Cream cheese, butter must be on room temp

1)Prepare the Cake pan, coat the side of the cake pan with butter and place a baking sheet in the cake pan.

2)wrap 2 layers kitchen foil on the cake pan

Remember to wash the eggs before use !!

Let's begin!

1) Mix the butter and Cream cheese together

2) add the egg yolk in to the butter and cheese mixture then mix well.
One yolk at each time.

3) add the flour in it and mix well then Pour the milk into the (2) and mix well. Then we can leave this bowl aside

4) prepare the meringue. Beat the egg white with the electric hand mixer for about 35 seconds then add the cream of tartar in it and mix it for about 30 seconds.

5) we can add 1/3 of the sugar into the egg white , beat it for about 1 min

6) add the next 1/3 sugar in it then beat for another 1 min

7) add the rest of the sugar into the mixture and beat for another 2 mins. until it becomes meringue. it would look very glossy and beautiful.

8) we can put 1/3 of the meringue into the cheese mixture and mix it completely. in this stage , don't worry breaking the foam as we need to combine the meringue and cheese mixture completely.

9) add another 1/3 meringue into the cheese mixture. This time be careful not too break the foam as much as we did in the last step.

10) pour all the cheese mixture into the meringue bowl and mix it.

11)this stage just need to combine them together and without breaking the meringue foam.

12) pour the mixture into the cake pan. Place the cake pan in the baking tray with hot water in.

13) put it in the oven for 10 mins in 160'C

14) then turn the temp to 150'C and bake for 55 mins

15) It is done! if the cake doesn't look brown enough then we can turn the temp to 180'C and bake for 2 mins. and keep repeating this step until the cake looks brown enough. Just to be careful not to burn the cake and keep your eyes on it all the time in this step!!!

16) Let it cool ,then put in the fridge for about 4 hours then serve. I think it tastes better if you put it in the fridge overnight.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and success on baking this cake. Just so you know, the cake made of full fat cheese , sugar and butter. so dont eat too much!! even though it tastes amazing !!!

[Swatch] YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil in Stick #41

I posted a picture on my instagram @asianbeautysecretsuk

last week about my new YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil in Stick #41 . It hasn't came to the UK yet. It will be available on 24th Feb in store, Actually this new formula lipsticks have already been sold in Asia.

The colour I got is #41 Corail a Porter. I was thinking to get #49 or #46 at first but then I feel like the #49 is very similar to my Dior addict lipstick so I didn't get #49. I am still tempting to get the #46 when they are available in store by the end of the month.

Anyways, the new ysl formula claimed that they have added 6 more oils and hydrating ingrd in it. I think it is very creamy and hydrating, even though it says it has added 6 more exacts oil in it to make it even smoother and creamy. Yes it is very creamy and hydrating. However, if you have chipped lips it does make your chipped skin look appear and doesn't look very even.

Back to the colour, tbh the new 12 shades are amazing.they all look just like my cup of tea !!

I chose #41 is a pinky coral shade, it has some shimmer in it when you look at it. This type of colour is always my favourite , to go lip colour. It goes well to pretty much all the make up look. no matter a daily school look or an evening night out.

It looks very coral and orange on the picture, but if you apply it on the lip. It is actually very pinky (not like a barbie pink). I would describe it as a natural pinky lipstick with orange undertone. It looks very similar to the Laneige serum intense LR08. I think it is also a very 'Korean' colour like you know those colour being used in the Korean Drama.

You can use it lipstick on it own or create the Korean ombre lips. I like both way.

the finish of this lipstick is very glossy without making your lips feel sticky. I think the pigmentation is quite good, it lasts about 3-4 hours. It is quite long lasting to me. I was talking for about 4 hours with my friends and it still looks fine.

Their packaging as usual , very luxury and classic !

I will get few more shades when they come to the UK official for sure!

[Review] ARK Skinperfector Hydration Injection Masque

Hi!

This is going to be a review post about the ARK Skinperfector Hydration Injection Masque.

It is basically a mask that claims for anti-aging and hydration. I have been using this products for about 2 months, I took it with me to Canada last month, its very impressive.

This product is 75ml £35,

This masque contains hyaluronic acid, tons of vitamins such as A, B5 , C and E. It claims to give your skin an instant hydration, regulate collagen synthesis also smoothness your skin as well as face pigmentation like acne scars and prevent UV damage. It sounds amazing and contains tons of the good ingredients to your skin!

Texture: It is a thick milky consistence kind of like condensed milk.

Smell: It doesn't have a very strong smell to be honest. It smells of abyssinian oil which I think is very nice and I love this smell.

Packaging: It is in a tube. When I first opened it, I thought I had to twist the lid. but then I realised I had to push the end of the lid (give some force to it) and the product. It is hard to explain it but yea you can see that on the picture. I don't like the way to open and get the product out to be honest. Because when I squeeze and trying to the product out. The product always stuck in the gap between the lid and around it. It can be very messy if you squeeze the tube too hard. Also the product would stay around the tip and hard if you don't clean it each time you finish. Which I think that can be improved.

who is this for: This product is formulated for everybody , all ages. The instruction says

Teens and Twenties :Leave on for approx. 5 mins

Thirties and Forties : Leave on for approx. 10 mins

Fifties and onwards: Leave on for approx. 20 mins

You can also use it as an overnight intensive treatment.

Then remove it with a hot cloth and pat dry then follow up with your skincare.

I am 21 so I supposed to leave on for approx. 5 mins. But I am writing a review so I left on for 5 mins, 10 mins , 15 mins, 20 mins and overnight so that I could do a comprehensive review for you all.

Result:

Leave on for 5 mins: It gave me an instant hydration face and very soft feeling after 5 mins. I think 5 mins is good if you have an oily skin and at your early 20s.

Leave on for 10 mins: I think that way works better if you've a combination skin. It feels like you've injected some water into your face which is great!

Leave on for 15 mins: I think it is a prefect time for me now. As I recently have a quite dry skin and feel like the skin is about to peel off and very rough. I have been using it every 2 days for 15 mins. I found that way could give me 100% hydration and the hydration on my face is long lasting! means that it is not just for now, and I can still see the result the next day.

Leave on for 20 mins: I think it is very similar to leave on for 15 mins.

Overnight: I don't recommend to leave on overnight. I think it is bit sticky even though I put a very thin layer on and wait till it sets. But still my hair stick on my face and it's over my pillow. And I think the result is pretty much the same as you leave on for 15 - 20 mins. If I could get the same result on leaving on my face for 15- 20 mins then I wouldn't want to have it on overnight.

you can see that it gives a glowy finish also feel like my skin has drank enough water !

Overall : I think this masque have done what it claims. My face feel very soft and brighten up a lot. It helps me to deal with the changing weather and my skin was fine even when my skin was very sensitive. It doesn't burn or make me feel uncomfortable. I feel very clam to have this masque on. I love the smell and the texture.

I do see a result on fading pigmentation for example to fade my acne scars. I tend to put a very thick layer on my scars and I am happy with the fact that it does deal with the redness. I would recommend it as a hydration that to be used after you deep cleaning your face. That way the masque can inject even more hydration into the button of my face and effective.

For the anti-aging, since I am on my very early 20s (i am 21) so I dont have any wrinkles problems at the moment. Therefore , I can't really say about that anti-aging side. But I think it is beneficial me to add some anti-aging products into my skincare routine so that I can prevent any aging problems. I believed that prevent is very important so I don't have to worry about any aging problems when I get older.

[Review] BEVY C Lumiwhite

Hello beauties, today's post is going to be a brand focus on BEVY C Lumiwhite collection.

It is a very popular and well known brand in Asia, all of their products are made in Taiwan. BEVY C. is the campaigner of Pre-make up skin care. All products don't contain alcohol, pigment, MI and MCI. They have passed four relative SGS tests and skin allergy test.
It is my first time trying on the Taiwanese skincare apart from the sheet masks.

The Lumiwhite collection is decided to use before putting any makeup on, as a makeup base or you may call it 'skincare before makeup'. There are total 4 items in this collection which is Lumiwhite Moist up lotion, Lumiwhite Moist up Elixir for eyes and lips, Lumiwhite Moist up Elixir and Lumiwhite Moist up Emulsion.

I have been using them for about 2 months now I think it would be a great time to share my view to you all.

I would like to point out that I liked their packaging design before talking about the result. I loved the white, simple bottle designed, also unless the other skincare out in the market ,BEVY C's Lumiwhite is about 100ml per bottle which seems to be smaller, but you know it is FRESH and hygienic so I can finish a bottle about 2-3 months and open a new bottle to keep it fresh and avoid the gems.

Current Skin Type for your reference: Combination + Acne Prone skin

You need to turn the tip to the other side to open the product which is good to prevent any liquids excess.

#Lumiwhite Moist up lotion (HKD180 /100ml) (aka toner)

It is a gel texture at first interestingly it turns to watery feel once you apply it on your face. It ca be absorbed easily.

How I used it ? 1 pump for each use ( 2 pumps when my skin needs an extra hydration) I take 1 pump to my hand , slightly spread it on my hand then apply on my face. Repeat the same process if I feel like I need more hydration. I think that way works better than taking 2 pumps at once!!

It absorbs really quick about 1-2 second and it has injected the water into the bottom of your skin. After my skin feels very soft and instant hydrated. Then I will follow up with the rest of the Lumiwhites.

Hydration: 5/5
Repurchase : yes

#Lumiwhite Moist up Elixir for eyes and lips (HKD180 /15ml)

It is watery texture quite liquidly. You dont really need a whole pump for both eyes and lips. I use about half pump for my eyes and lips. It smooth out the lines near the eyes and hide some lip lines. You could also take half pump to massage it on your lips if you are feeling a bit dry. After you apply it on your eyelids and you could feel that you can blend the eyeshadow easily. It doesn't have any taste or reduce my dark circles.

I love using it on my eyes areas as an eyeshadow base .However I personally prefer a cream or gel cream texture as my eye cream and lip balm. I mean it is not bad as a makeup base, it is just my personal preference and have a thing with eye cream and lip balm. If you are looking for a lightweight and hydrating eye and lip product as a makeup base then it is totally for you.

Hydration: 4/5 smooth out the lines on the eye and lips areas

Highly recommended to people who is looking for an eye and lip makeup base, then you could try this product.

#Lumiwhite Moist up Elixir(HKD320 /35ml)

It is kind of a gel texture, I really loved this product. I think it is the best in this collection. It does a really great job to make your face makeup last longer matching with the Moist up Lotion and Emulsion. It makes your foundation stay on so long and a glow finish. One of the functions of this product is to balance water and oil to your face which is a great product to deal with the base and the front.

When I first came across with it , I think it looks like the Indeed Labs Hydraluron and made a comparison but the Indeed Labs one doesn't get along well with my foundation, it has some erasers stuffs come out. Therefore I prefer using BEVY C as a makeup base.

It absorbs to my skin really quick. 1 pump is very enough for me. It doesn't feel sticky at all but it could work as a glue to your foundation. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs to inject some hydration to your skin before putting makeup. You could also take a pump to mix with your foundation, that way could apply the foundation much easier.

Hydration :5/5 Amazing !

Repurchase : 5/5 Definitely!!!

#Lumiwhite Moist Up Emulsion (HKD180/ 100ml)

It is a gel cream texture, just like the Laneige Gel cream. But this BEVY C one is more convenience as it is in a bottle so I just need to pump it. 1 pump is really enough for the entire face if you use the Moist up lotion and Elixir. It feels like a layer to keep the water in your skin and to prevent the makeup goes into your skin. you get me?

It is like a protection layer to keep all the water bubble inside the layer so the moist up lotion and Elixir can work even better. It doesn't feel greasy at all, just like a base cream making the skin feels super soft and give an hydrated finish.

Repurchase : YES!!

It is how my skin looks after applying them, (a close up, it gives a natural glow to the skin, no make up and filters applied!)

Overall, I loved every single product in this Lumiwhite collection apart from the Elixir for eyes and lips due to my personal preference. I think it can give my skin an instant hydration and make my foundation stay longer. However, the oil would stay come out in about 4 hours. you can feel the oil on the face but it doesn't smudge your make up at all. So i just use a blotting paper to get rid of the excess oil and it is all good.My skin still feeling soft and smooth after I remove my makeup , i guess it does give me moisture even though I have my make up on. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a pre-make up skincare. I think it is just perfect to use before makeup. The price is very affordable and give an outstanding result. However, dry skin lovelies may might an extra pump of the Moist up lotion and Elixir or you can use it with the Super Hydro collection. Apart from it, I think it is fine. Oh the only thing is, it doesn't contain any SPF in it, so you might need to follow up with an SPF cream or a foundation that contain SPF in it. It is not always bad for skincare to not having SPF in it, as you know skincare contain SPF would make your face looks flash when you are taking photos! Therefore, it might be a good side so that you can still use this collection when you need to night out or anytime you want to get some good photos done!

My favourite:

Moist up Lotion -> Moist up Elixir -> Moist up Emulsion -> Moist up Elixir for eyes and lips.

John Frieda Hair Products

Hi beautiful, its been so long since my last post as i was so busy with my university work !

Right, this post is going to talk about one of my favourite hair products brand JOHN FRIEDA.

If you have followed me on Instagram @asianbeautysecretsuk then you probably know that im a huge fan of John Frieda. I have been using their hair products for more than 3 years now and I have tried at least half of their products. From shampoo to conditioner , hair serum to hair mask also their hair dye !!They all are my favourite . They are affordable with a good quality !

Today, I will focus on their new Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner.

I have an oily scalp and dry end. I wash my hair every day.

The first comment I have to say it, these are the best shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda collection !

Highly highly recommend to anyone who has an oily scalp and dry end.

I have tried the Dream Curls Shampoo (the original one) and the full repair (the red tube one). I think the Dream Curls Shampoo is more for people who have natural curly hair , then it gives a very nice and soft curly finish, of course not a crazy curly hair. Its like a very natural big waves hair. However, I think the Dream Curls conditioner works better than the shampoo!

Back to it, I think the Miraculous Recovery Shampoo can clean my hair very well and it brighten up my hair. It is not too heavy for my hair .

Because I have been using the Full Repair one (the red one) that I found it is bit heavy for my hair sometimes especially during summer. maybe it is because I have an oily scalp so the full repair shampoo is bit too much for me. However, the full repair shampoo works amazingly on my sister's hair (she has a dry scalp and dry end. She doesn't have to wash her hair everyday!) Therefore, I think I can only use the Full repair one during winter time. But for the miraculous recovery shampoo, it doesnt have that problem. I used it in Feb for the whole month. It works really good. It does leave my hair very silky and soft. that I have been being asked by mu mum and friends that which shampoo and conditioner I am using as they think my hair is very shiny and health !!

Miraculous Recovery Conditioner is the best Conditioner I have ever had !( its better than my holy grail Essential the japanese brand!) This conditioner can moisturise my hair intensively like I can feel the softness after one use! It is very thick texture but it doesn't make my hair flat or anything. I mainly focus on my ends and a bit up to my scalp and yea it works, it is not too much for my hair. I think I found my Mr Shampoo and Conditioner.

You can see that I have finished them completely.

I have a little tip when I am using the John Frieda Tube shampoo and conditioner. It is not easy to take the lid off from the tube shampoo and conditioner. So what I do is chop the middle bit off like what I did in the picture. so that you can finish every single bit of the product and do not waste it.

There are some pictures of my hair that I took 4 weeks after using that Shampoo and Conditioner. I recommend to you all because I have finished them completely and think that they are really amazing and worth a try. That's why my review do not come out very often as I want to try them completely and give the most updated and honest review.

Regarding to some of your question, my hair colour is John Frieda foam colour 5A. I dyed it in Aug and it is still there , havent faded and I did an ombre hair after so my end would look a bit lighter.

By the way, this Miraculous recovery shampoo and conditioner claim that they are safe for coloured hair so my sister tested with using this shampoo and conditioner for 1 week after dying her hair.

This is the colour she dyed. It is a very nice red brown colour, I will update some pictures of her hair when she's free. But yea, the colour didnt fade at all with these shampoo and conditioner !

I would highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner to anyone. And you might want to go for the full repair collection if you have a dry hair!

2) Apply some hair oil (the one I really recommend is Marc Anthony argan oil)

I think its only available in the US, if not I think the OGX argan oil is also a good alternative.

3) spray Frizz Daily Treatment

4) spray Volume blow dry spray

5) wait about 10 mins let the products go in the hair

6) blow dry my hair

[Review] Sulwhasoo Eyecreams

as some of you who followed me on Instagram would know that I went to New York and Hong Kong for the past 4 weeks. It's why I didn't do much posts.

This post I'm going to review one of my favourite brand Sulwhasoo 's eyecreams. It is a Korean high end Brand, belonging to Amore Pacific Company. My mum is a super fan of Sulwhasoo and influenced me!!

If you read my Beauty Trip - Asia last summer, would know that I went to Seoul again. And shopped a lot in Sulwhasoo. Because it is much cheaper to shop Sulwhasoo in Seoul airports with lots Freebies.

The eye creams I'm going to talk about are travel size that came with my shopping above. I tried to look for the price online and the price below is full size.

Sulwhasoo Essential Rejuvenating Eye Cream

I like using it during summer time or day time if I'm staying at home. It is moisturising and suitable for girls who started using skincare like 18 above.
It absorbs really quick and smells of ginseng which is my favourite.

Sulwhasoo Snowise UV Protection Cream
£130 - 50ml SPF46, PA++

Moisturising 3/5 stars
Reduce Dark Circle 1/5 stars
Reduce puffiness 1/5 stars

This one is more like a UV protection cream but the lady said it can be used as eyecream with SPF in.
What i do is, I either put this one during summer or apply a little bit top of the essential rejuvenating eye cream for an extra protection. The texture of this cream is likely a sunscreen texture and slightly thicker than the essential rejuvenating eye cream. For me it is not essential.

This is the most expensive eye cream I have used ever and the thickest out of the 3 eyecreams. It is as thick as a balm texture. It is from the time treasure collection, anti-ageing line. But I use it during winter at night as I need something really moisturising and might be I need to have some anti-ageing products into my every day skincare routine just to prevent ageing problems even though I'm only 20 but its best to prevent then to solve the problem right.

Overall ,

I really love them 3 especially using essential rejuvenating eye cream at the day and time treasure at night. For me Snownise is more like an extra and day cream for me. All of them do smell of Ginseng which have a little bit relaxing effect to me as I really love the smells of Ginseng. However, they are super pricey. If you could afford it then it is a really good skincare product.

[Review] The Body Shop Honey Bronzer

I have been so busy with my uni work and placement so did not really have chance to write any posts.

However, I have been trying on different skincare and makeup products during this period.

This post is about The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Power.

It is the first make up product I have ever tried from the body shop like most people, Im only into their shower gel and body butter. But I have been hearing people waving about this bronzer. and I literally got it 2 months ago when it was 40%off.

It is £13 originally and it does have a lot of promotions, so keep your eyes on their promotion code which could save you seriously a lot money!

I got it with £7.8

My shade was 02 Fair Matte, the packaging is a plastic brown case with a huge mirror.

To be honest, the packaging is so pretty, I didn't really want to put my contour brush to ruin this beautiful pattern!

It is a matte bronzer. this shade is perfect for fair skin people. It is also a matte bronzer which means it doesn't contain any shimmers and glitters in.

The power is so smooth, it feels like you are touching a compact icing sugar. When you apply on the face, it is super natural and give a very soft and natural finish. It doesn't make your face looks orange or a very hash bronze look. Also it is buildable so you can wear it everyday or night out.

Since I work in the Fair trade office so I am particularly into Fairtrade and organic beauty product. and this bronzer contains Fairtrade honey!! Extra credits.

I only need a tiny bit on every day use. It actually beat my NYC sunny bronzer!!

I love it way way more than the NYC sunny Bronzer and Benefit Hoola.

It is quite similar to the Benefit Hoole however, the price is more friendly and you have a few shades to choose from.

It works really nice with the Real Technique Contour brush from the core collection.

It is my top bronzer so far!

BB Cushion : Laneige vs IOPE

BB Cushions are extremely popular in Asia.

It is a sponge which soaks the bb cream and some essences in and apply it with a cushion sponge.

A lot of Korean cosmetic brands have been selling it since last year.

I bought 2 different brands bb cushion in Seoul.

Laneige and IOPE . They both are made in Korea.

They are actually developed from the same company amore pacific.

It is probably why they look very alike. even the design and the sponge texture. (sorry, i didn't wash the laneige sponge just yet!)

Laneige BB Cushion

Price: around £30

1 BB Cushion with case and 1 refill (15g x 2)

SPF : 50+ PA+++

Shade: N21

Coverage: Medium to high
Moisturising: ♥♥♥ 3/5
I really liked it, I have been using it every day since end of June. It lasts me for 3- 4 months till it finishes. It is very convenience like pat it on the face only 1 min then you can finish off your base make up. Also it has SPF and a medium to high coverage. I dont have much to concealer, so I only pat it on my face and use concealer to the acne marks and some scars. However, if you pat it a couple more time then you probably dont need a concealer. It is really good to even your skin tone and hide the pores on the cheek and nose area. It smells so nice like the unique Laneige scent just like their skincare which I really love as well. The Laneige BB Cushion I have almost finished so it does look bit dry on the picture. And I forgot to take pictures on it when I started using it but I still have a refill so I could add more pictures of it later.

I opened it 2 weeks ago so I do have slightly more pictures to show for this one. It is same as the laneige one, use the bb cushion then gently pat it to your face. Actually for IOPE they do N for natural which means slightly less coverage. C for cover with a better cover and S for shimmer to give your skin some glow.
Mine is N23 which i bought on the plane duty free. so i didn't have much choices. However, I found this shade is actually look like my skin. And I think the coverage is enough for me, i might only need a little more concealer for the acne however it does blur my pores and even my skin tone.

For me, they both are very similar and work so good on me. It is very hard to say which is best and a very tough choice when I finish them both with refill. I love them both and want to repurchase both.
They both do even my skin tone , hide my pores and give my face a very nice natural finish. However, I found IOPE is a slightly moisturising than Laneige BB Cushion. For the fall and winter time, I am likely to use IOPE than Laneige. But there's another I use them, I use IOPE to my entire face and pat the Laneige on the area that i need to cover a bit.
But yea, I REALLY REALLY IN LOVE with them both! I'm sorry I really can't say which one i love most. They both are amazing.

Tips:
I think Bare Minerals Ready touch up Vile SPF 15 works really well with the bb Cushions like it sets the face.
BB Cushion + Bare Minerals = a prefect flawless face
and it actually lasts for 9 hours with no touch up!
Try this combination. you will see the miracle.

Dont throw your bb Cushion or put a refill when you feel it dries up and seems like its done. You can use a needle or tooth stick to flip the sponge over then you can still use your bb cushion for another week or 2. You might be able to flip it a couple time before throw it away!!

Current Skincare Routine + a peek of Seoul

I have been suffering break outs,acnes and skin allergy since April to late Aug. There are many causes like uni pressures, travelled around by plane and used something not suitable for my skin.

I bought a new set of skincare in Seoul and Hong Kong. I started using the new skincare since August. It's much better now. I dont have any break outs and acnes so I think it would be great to share it with you all.

My skin type : used to be oily, since I went to Asia my skin is turned in to combination with slightly oily on the nose and chin area. Also quite dry on the forehead and cheeks. (it sounds very unusual !!)

When I was in Seoul, I found that my skincare routine is so different in comparing to Korean girls. So I gave it a try and use everything from Korea and follow their steps.

What I used to do (before I changed my skincare routine):

1) Toner

2)Serums

3)Eye cream

4) Moisturiser

5) Sunblock (for the morning routine)

6) Sleeping pack (for the evening routine twice a week)

I got told that its WRONG by a Korean consultant in Seoul. So I trusted her and followed the Skincare routine she told me (Korean style lol)

This is the New line of Skincare I currently using.

1) Toner (with lower pH value around 4.5-5 with cotton pad)

2) Moisturising Toner

3) Emulsion

4)Eye cream

5)Essence

6)Moisturiser

7) Sunblock (morning)

8) Sleeping pack (twice a week)

To be honest, this 8 steps saved my skin! and it works!! you can use any of your favourite products and follow the steps.

Here are the products I use which I'm very happy with. All of them were purchased by me in Seoul and Hong Kong.

Step 1- Toner with lower pH value.

Etude House Pore Refresher 10 in 1

it was (15000won around £10). I use it with a cotton pad. I really liked this product. It makes me feel like it cleans the existed dusts. and it doesn't make my skin feel tight or any. I don't really know what is the different between 7 in 1 and 10 in 1. Because it was same price in Seoul and the sale lady tried to explain to me but I don't speak Korean so I dont really get what she said -,- but I guess 10 in 1 probably better than 7 in 1 as it has more functions I guess. There are 2 cottons pads i used with. I like using this toner with Leed Cotton pads rather than the pack it comes with.

Step 2- Moisturising Toner-

Laneige Skin Refresher Light

It was about £18, I got so obsessed with Laneige ! I was recommended by a friend( She got the whole collection!) I really want to have a own collection so I bought the whole skincare line from Laneige in Seoul. Tbh, it is not much cheaper than Hong Kong. but they give out lots freebies which are amazing ! At the end of the Asia trip, I bought 21 Laneige products in total!! This toner smells so nice and like a top cost for my face. I really liked it

Step 3- Emulsion

Laneige Emulsion Light

It was about £18. I like it's texture. It is very light so it doesn't feel greasy and heavy after. I tried the face shop Rice Emulsion which is too thick for me even in the dry UK. I loved this emulsion, not too much. Standard!!

Step 4- Eye Cream

Laneige Water Bank Eye gel

It was about £20, i think the formula and texture are very similar to their gel cream. I dont think it helps to reduce dark circles but it does help to hydrate my under eyes areas. Not the best one I ever had, but I bought the whole skincare set from Laneige so I'll just use it till it finishes.

Step 5- Essence (I would only use it at night, unless my face is super dry during the day)

there are 2 I highly recommended. first one is Laneige Water Bank Essence which gives the face extra moisture. I use it on the dry areas only cuz it would be too much if I put it all over my face. It makes the face really soft and 'bling bling' Loved it.

the second one is Nuex Tree Snail cream. OMG! it is a must in my skin care collection. I bought 8 tubs in total in Oliver Young in Seoul!! It was normally £30 and it was sale £8 when I was in Seoul. It is so good. It helps to reduce scars and marks also it helps to prevent break outs and acnes. It makes your face look flawless. Trust me if you want to try on snail products. This is your choice! Best Snail product I ever had. Even better than Tony Moly !!

Step 6- Moisturiser

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream (days) It is perfectly for the days. It feels like putting a top cost on the face to keep all the water inside the water and dont let them steam out. I used to use it day and night when I was in Asia. However, England is getting colder and dryer so I need something thicker and intense.

Innisfree Green Tea seed Cream (night) this cream is perfectly at night. It is thicker and heavier than the Laneige Gel Cream. I love using it at night to give my face an extra hydrating. I also love the way it smells GREEN TEA which is my favourite. It makes your face so smooth and soft the next day. It was very cheap too I dont remember how much it was exactly but less than £10 I think.

Step 7- Sunblock

Benefit Emulsion

I have used 2 bottles already. So far my favourite sunblock. I dont usually like sunblock as they make my skin looks so palm and sticky. For this one, it melts into your skin very quick like within a minute so i really liked it. However it would be better if it has a bigger SPF and PA .

Step 8- Sleeping Pack

Doctorcos first generation. It is amazing! I dont know how to explain it but it just makes your face super super soft and it can be used to mix with your foundation. It is multi tasking and very cheap. The only thing is you need to wait about 5 minutes before go to bed. it takes awhile to absorb however, there are nothing bad !!

Another one would be Laneige Sleeping Pack,

I loved it too it is like an intensive sleeping mask. It feels like giving your skin 8 glasses water during the night. And smells so nice!! Same as Doctorcos, it takes a while to absorb. It makes your skin looks like a coconut jelly the next day which is very impressive.

There is new item I bought a week ago which i'm still trying but so far it is not bad. Quiet Impressive. I will talk about it more on my next post.

I hope you like this sharing. They are absolutely my current favourite and use it everyday basis. See, thats why I kept saying I'm bloke after my Asia trip. I bought tons and tons!! 5 x 23 kg suitcases back to the UK!!

It was my second visiting Seoul, I flighted from Hong Kong international Airport. The flight was about 4 hours and £500 return per person.

It was in a market called KwongJong. My friend said its raw meats but im not too sure what it was.

I found its interesting, there are some masks in each metro station

That was in WonDae. It was a pop up sprite event there. Some Korean singers were performing but im really bad with kpop so I wasnt sure who she was lol

It is where my hotel at near ChengTaeGung which is a very traditional palace. And I found that all of the characters in the palace were written in Chinese!

It is a must try 15cm ice cream. The first time I went to Korea was only 2 favours Chocolate and Vanilla but This time they do green tea as well!! It was in Myeong Dong (girls heaven!!)

It is very popular in Myeong dong called Mandu. Like dumpling and its the best Kimchi I had ever and most spicy ><

Korean BBQ so yummy a must in Korea. I had it almost every night. Never too much! and was very cheap too about £10 per person and you get so FULL!

I really loved the little dishes it comes with every meal, They all are colourful and taste so nice!!

It is one of the favourite korean food Fried Chickens with Beer. Tbh, it tastes so good! much much much better than KFC and Macdonald like the best fried Chicken I ever had. Highly recommended!

Metro in Seoul much moderner than the one in London and Paris!!

Free Starbuck Iced coffee everywhere in Seoul

There was a family business place near my hotel. I went there midnight and got the kimchi pancakes and some vegetables. Very tasty and the rice wine tastes amazing ! better than soju haha

Food again , it was in Dotta DongtaeMun

[Review] ePure Jelly Masks

Hello beauties,

this post is a review post of a jelly mask called ePure which is very popular in Asia lately. I've tried a box (6 packs) already. So here you go for the full review :)

Jelly masks are very popular in Asia, it is actually a wash off mask with a jelly texture (sounds yummy!)

It is made in Taiwan and developed by an American Professor of Cosmetic Aesthetics.

There are 6 packs in a box with 30ml each. Unlike those tubs of jelly masks. It is more hygienic and continence.

This Membranous Jelly Masque is the first ever facial mask with ACF which is formulated for intense hydration. This jelly mask retains 70% more moisture than other sheet mask. It gets your face hydrated after 30 minutes (which sounds amazing and it works on me!!)

I checked the ingredients carefully before I put it on as I've a super sensitive skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Seaweed Extract, Alpha Arbutin and Jojoba Leaf Extract. They sound fine for me apart from the seaweed extract, because I get a little bit sensitive with the Body Shop Seaweed collections so I was worried about the seaweed extract. However, it works well on me and I didn't get any sensitive reactions after using a box of it. Here, I would recommend to sensitive.

The ingredients itself are full of vitamins A,D,E ,B1,B2,B3,B6 and B12. Also I looked up on the internet and found that Alpha Arbutin has the whitening effect and Jojoba Leaf Extract does have the power on protection and softness your skin.

It smells of vanilla so relaxing and make me want to have a taste!

How I use it,

*I love putting it in my fridge and it feels so nice especially during the summer time!!*

1) I deep cleanse my face with clay mask.

2) Apply your favourite toner (I used Laneige Light Skin Refiner)

3) Apply Serum for better result. (I used V10 Hyaluronic Acid serum and i think they work well together!!)

4)Apply the Jelly Mask with the facial mask spoon it comes with, generously apply to my entire face and neck with a thickness of about 0.5cm. I apply a thicker layer on my nose area and my acne scars & marks. A pack is enough for one use.

5)Scrape the jelly mask off after 30 mins and rinse it with warm water then cold water, of course pat it dry then carry on my skincare routine.

I use it twice a week for 3 weeks.

About this thick for my face area!

And about this thick on my nose and problem areas

For the result, (After Once use)

It got rid of about 80% of my blackheads and white heads. And I could see them on the Jelly ( I know it sounds bit disgusting, but actually it is fun to look at them especially those stubborn hard one!!)

I can feel my skin is so soft and hydrated, it feels like its been drinking tons water when I touch it. It is very impressive. It reduced some of the redness However, the whitening effect wasn't that obvious.

After fourth use,

It has visually minimized my pores especially the nose area and keeps my face hydrated. My face is so soft in the past 2 weeks. Some of the acne marks have gone disappeared.

Let's make a conclusion after sixth use, It does give my face an intense hydration and softness on the entire face also minimize the pores. For the whitening it is not as obvious as the hydration. It takes time to see the whitening effect (after 4th use). This mask makes me feel like having a facial at home.

I'm highly recommend to all skin type people.

For oily skin type, it does help on oil control. About 3 times a week.

For combination skin type, it does help on minimise your pores and keep your face hydrated. About twice a week.

For dry skin and sensitive type, you found your friend here. A mask that keep your face hydrated and it works on sensitive skin!

Seoul Shopping Haul - Lipsticks

I am being very control when i was in Seoul. i bought 3 lipsticks only!!

I bought the banila co and etude house one in Seoul and i've thrown the etude house box away when i was in Seoul as i dont have much spaces left in my luggages ><

And bought the Laneige one in HongKong.

How gorgeous is this lipstick! I've always wanted to try this out for long. As I've read lots and lots positive comments and reviews on this formula. and i have been using their skincare for month now..pretty satisfied with it. I have bought 23 Laneige products in this summer. I can claimed myself as a Laneige-holic.. Well..Im very happy to say that this formula is super moisturising and creamy just like its name serum intense. I could feel the serums in it also it is as good as the YSL (golden) one. and slightly cheaper than the YSL.

ACtually i was not planning on getting lipsticks from banila co. I was planning on getting their clean it zero cleansing balm and primer. But their lipsticks were doing 50% off and I can claim for a tax refund(5%off) in Seoul also the amount i spent in shop can sign up as a member which i get another 10% off so this lipstick was only 5000won around £3-4 very bargain. It is surprising good which is out of my expectation. However, it is bit dry comparing to the Laneige one and a little bit of lip lines show up. So it is better to have a thin layer of lip balm before apply it. However, it is outstanding with this price.

I got it in Seoul but i've thrown the box away as i poured some Soju on the box accidentally in Seoul :( Its packaging is super adorable and there's a heart on the lipstick itself. I really loved this colour and the packaging. However, the formula of this lipstick is bit dry for me even i have put lip balm on before i apply it. It makes my lips look dry and i dont really like the dryness. Im planning on using it to do an Ombre lips with other lipsticks because i really dont like this lipstick itself on my lip.

This post is about my shopping haul in Seoul.

I shopped loads actually 2 full suitcases (23 kg each) !!

Everything in Seoul is cute and lovely and it is hard to find and get them in the UK.

Etude House 10 in one pore solution . I am sooo happy to get this in Seoul which one the most happiest. Because I saw the same product in Singapore and Hong Kong. They are 7 in 1 and mine is 10 in 1. Well it might be very smiliar but im just feeling great with it haha

I bought 5 tubs masks in Skinfood. It was buy 4 get 1 free, best offer ive seen in Seoul. Around £3 per tub in seoul however, i saw this for £13 per tub in Hong Kong. I am completely shocked!

Banila co is another shop i loved most in Seoul. The sales are so nice and gave me loads samples of their cleaning balms and remover sheets.

This is the limited edition cleansing balm. I cant wait to use it when i back to the uk

Innisfree's green tea seed cream and juje volcanic pore clay mask are both popular items. I did a review on the clay mask with glamglow so please take a look. And the green tea seed cream seems very nurturing so im planning to use it in winter.

This snail cream is the best out of the rest. I literally bought 6 tubs and loved it much. I gave a few to my friends. and it was sale so i got 6 haha

Innisfree sheet masks are the best one i'd say. I bought 30 sheets haha 10 munka honey , 10 royal jelly and 10 green tea. Masks review will be posted in the next post.

Glamglow Supermud VS Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

This post is going to talk about 2 of the well known deep cleanse masks.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is a very popular clay mask in Asia.

Glamglow Supermud mask is a very popular and have loads good feedbacks in the west.

Battle Time!!

What they do?

Glamglow supermud is a clearing treatment to target , prevent and heal problem areas. It can deal with breakouts, discoloration as well as both black and white heads. Also supermud do not have any parabens , sulfates and phthalates.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask is a natual volcanic clay from Jeju , Korea. It is a treatment to target and heal with both black and white heads and minimise the pores.

They both seem to have the similar functions and a very HIT items in the West and East.

How much are they?

Glamglow Supermud is around £45 (HKD 585)/ 34g

Innisfree is around £10 (HKD 130) / 100ml

How effective ?

Glamglow Supermud can clear up to 90% of my black and white heads and can minimise my pores very well however, it can be bit dry if it leaves on more than 12 mins on the face. I think 7-9 mins is the best and most effective in term of using it. It reduces some marks on my face and it can heal some active acnes. Sometimes, i would put a little bit on my acnes and spots wait for around 8 mins, rinse it then the bad acnes cells have dead!! it is very surprising and impressive.

Innisfree can clear up to 60% of my black and white heads. It can also minimise my pores. however, some big blackheads can't be removed properly. but it doesn't feel as dry as the supermud if you leave it for too long. It doesn't really reduces the appear marks and scars. I think it is more suitable for people who is looking for a weekly clean up and people who are not wearing make up very often.

How often do you use them?

I'm a makeup junkie, I put on make up 6 days a week.

Glamglow Supermud, i use it once a week as it can deep cleanse my face very well so i likely to use it weekly however, i would use it twice a week during the summer time.

Innisfree Jeju Pore Clay mask, i use it at least 2 and up to 3 times a week. As it is more mild so I would need to use it more often to keep my face clear.

Conclusion,

In terms of the price, Innisfree is much nicer than the Supermud and work quiet well. But if you are looking for an effective and a better result (of cuz if you have a budget) then supermud might be more suitable for you.

[Review] John Frieda Full Repair and Volumous

I've been using John Frieda's hair products for a very long time. Especially their serums and deep conditioner (I've thrown the tube away so I just went online and get the picture out there.)

It is my first time trying out the Shampoo and Conditioner.

For myself, i like using the Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Mask and serums from the same brand so the scents wont mix up.

The repair collection smells absolutely amazing which is the best scent I would say even better than the Essential Damage Care one. I have finished a tube of each Shampoo and Conditioner by the time Superdrug was doing 1/2 on John Frieda's products so I got another tube of Shampoo and Conditioner ^^ I looked at the back of it says the full repair line has got the inca inchi oil and rich in omege 3 which are the natural oils and i believed this formula does give a very soft finish and it is not too much for oily hair as you know sometimes, the shampoo and conditioner are rich in oils would make the hair look very flat. However, this shampoo and conditioner are very fresh.

For the result, it keeps my hair very hydrating and smooth every after one use. My hair is coloured and sort of oily scalp and dry end. Surprisingly, I get let split ended and the shampoo is very clean. My hair is over my breasts. The potion I use is like a 2pounds coin size which is already enough for my entire hair. After I use the Conditioner and leave it for 5 mins which is already give my hair an enough moisture.

For the deep conditioner I use it once in 10 days. Again, it smells awesome and it does really leave my hair a very smooth and soft finish as it says on the tube.

Under the light and after 3 weeks use

Under the sun light and after 7 weeks

It worths the hype and very good value for a drugstore price with the high ended finish. I have stocked up one each and bringing them with me to Hong Kong this summer ~~

For the Volumous roots spray, it gives the hair a very volume and rich finish without giving any sticky and greasy feeling. Also it does give a very fresh finish after blow drying my hair.
*a little tip! Use the blow dryer to dry the hair when it is 50-60% wet, which is much faster to dry up the hair and it doesnt damage your hair that much in comparing to blow dry it when it is soaking wet *

The All day hold hairspray is actually really good. I dont normally like using hairspray to style my hair as i have a thought that it is very sticky and damage my hair a lot. For this one it does hold me around 14 hours. I spray it in the morning at around 10am and when i got home around 1am the curl still there of cuz it isnt as curly as it was but still did a really great job. And i found that Full repair collection and the volumous collection both are smell awesome.

[Review] V10 Plus Serums

Hello everyone!!

It's been 2 months since my last post because i have been trying on the new products and doing my work.
But yea, here you go!!

This post im going to review a very famous Asian brand called 'V10 Plus'
These products below were sent by V10plus. And i didnt receive any money to do an advertisement, these are my own opinions.

All of their serums are packed into different colors bottles just like the those chemical bottles which you see in the lab.(I feel very professional everytime when im using them like a chemist :P)

Firstly, there is a consultation sheet that i need to fill in first. then it shows which serums that you needed.
There are 10 different serums from this collection and 2 sizes 30ml and 10ml

According to my consultation test, I need

-Licorice Serum 30ml (Navy bottle)

-Vitamin C Serum 30ml (Yellow bottle)

-Amino Serum 15ml (Orange bottle)

-Pycnogenol Serum 15ml (Red bottle)

it comes with an adorable pink and white bag, this makeup bag is very suitable to take it with me on travel.

The serums are water based which do not clog and block our pores also they are no paraben,mineral oil , chemical fragrance. I have a quiet sensitive skin and it still works and keep my skin hydrated. They are all made in Japan which has given a confident to me as im super in love with Japanese and Korean products.

Licorice Serum is good for irritation and inflammation, it also helps to calm down the roughness and redness. This serum contains licorice which is a natural herb from the root and stalk of a pea family plant which can smooth the skin irritation.

Vitamin C serum is good for pimples and pores, it contains something called oubaku ekisu which is an anti acne ingredient that can minimize the pores and kill the pimples. Also vitamin c is like a collagen in the skin so it helps to minimise the pores right after killing the pimples.

Amino serum is good for dry skin it can moisturise the skin with marine collagen and brighten up the skin, it also enchants metabolism. This serum contain 8 types of amino acids which are glycine, alanine , prolien , serene, threonine , arginine, lycine and glutamic acid

Pycnogenol serum is good to deal with the rust and it contains the natural ingredient from Bordeaux. It has a great anti-oxidantion effect.

The dropper design is very handy and hygienic.

The texture of the serum is very watery and not greasy which is perfect for dry to oily skin and do not clog any pores at all.

It is a drop size and I put roughly 3-4 drops on my face.

I normally mix one drop of this 4 bottles serums, mix well and apply it on my entire face. I like massaging my face to get my face absorb quickly.

The Pycnogenol serum is bit thicker than the rest 3. I like to use it as the intensive hydrating and it works so well on me.

I've been using them for 2 months now. First impression was very interesting as i have to mix 4 different bottles serums every time when i use it. And it doesnt have any allergy effect on me.
After 2 months, I think this serums are very good for dry skin to oily skin even sensitive. Because i messed up my sleeping pattern in this 2 months so my skin can be really really dry this week and very greasy the next week. But well, i kept using it every morning and evening surprisingly, it helps to reduces the redness of my skin as well as minimize my pores and I didnt have any acnes in the last 6 weeks that is very impressive.

*Compare*

I compared V10 Plus serums with another serum i have been using for a while the body shop drops of youth.

1) The formula of the V10 Plus serums are much lighter whereas the body shop serums are slightly thicker like those aloe vera gel. In that case, i prefer the V10 plus serums cuz it absorbs within 5 seconds which is very convenience to lazy people like me !! And the body shop serum is bit sticky comparing to V10 plus.

2) Another important thing is i cant apply the body shop serum before putting make up on. Because the seems like there is a chemical reaction which have loads pieces rubber things come out from the face. It is super annoying in the rush morning, therefore, Im only using this serum at night . Whereas this problem does not happen with the V10 Plus serums so i can use it before makeup. especially when i am going to do those flawless face make up, then the V10 plus serums are prefect to keep my face hydrated. The doze in the morning and evening are slightly different.

Morning : 1 drop of Licorice serum, 1 drop of amino serum, 2 drops of pycnogenol serums and 1 drop of the vitamin c.

Evening: 2 drops of Licorice Serum, 1 drop of amino serum, 1 drop of pycnogenol and 2 drops of the vitamin c

4 Days till Valentine's Day♥♥

Whether you have a valentine or not, you could still dress yourself pretty and have a lovely day with the

family and friends or even by yourself right :D

This post I'm going to talk about the 4 days SOS skincare tips so you can get a flawless and silky skin.

You don't have to use exactly the same as I used, it's all about the METHODS and SKILLS.

So you are more welcome to you use something works well on you or take the products I use as a reference,

suggestion or recommendation.

♥♥DAY 1♥♥

It's a deep cleanse day, your skin wouldn't be treated if your pores are clogged and on an unclean face.
Therefore, Deep cleanse day is aiming to cleanse your skin and open up your pores then allow all of your skincare

goes into the deep on the cells.

I tend to use mud masks to deep cleanse my face once a week or twice if I have been wearing make up everyday.

I love using the GlamGlow Supermud as my weekly deep cleanse mask. This mask does get rid of the blackheads gently also de-clog the pores as well as minimise the pores. I put a thin layer on the entire face and slightly thicker on my nose and chin areas for around 10 minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water and after cold water.

It doesn't feel dry after using this. My face feels very soft and smooth after it also the breakouts disappeared. I checked the ingredients and it contains glycolic acid which allow the skin absorb the skincare quickly and effectively. Also it works well on healing acnes, I was having 2 pimples on my face and it reduced the redness and smaller after using it. Therefore I highly recommend to this to you for a weekly deep cleanse. Especially for combination and oily skin, it can work as your weekly acne treatment.

I love spraying my face after cleansing my face. Avene Thermal Spring water and La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water are my holy favourite. I spray either one of them on my face actually i have one in large size and a small size one. So I can spray with the large one at home which is cheaper than the travel size one. And I will take the travel size with me as a touch up spray.

Lately my skin is very dry and get a lot of breakouts so I would spray some of the acne spray. 100% Pure Purity hydrating tonique is the one i use at night after spraying the spring water and before the toner. This tonique is hydrating. It helps to reduce redness and breakout as well as hydrating my face. However, the smell of it is bit funny so I only use it at night. Based on the 'double tones'. This will be my first toner I use and after I would put some other moisturising toner such as the hyaluronic acid toner.

After double toners, will be putting on serum. I love the body shop Nutriganics drops of young serum. I bought it with the £10 off voucher which seriously made my day!!! I use 3 drops for my entire face. My face absorb it very quick in like 3 seconds actually and it gives a very smooth look after, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy which is great for dry skin as well as oily skin like me.

Eyecream you can use whichever works well on you. I use the benefit one here. It's very hydrating but it doesnt help on reducing dark circles. So if you are looking for something hydrating and reduce the line then this one if good for you.

It's almost there, you can put any sheet masks on you!!! Any! as long as it is not a wash off one. I found it gives the face much much much hydrated if you have done the steps before putting a sheet mask on. That can get the sheet mask work better and feels like it's injecting the water into your face.

After the sheet mask, you can put a thin layer of the nightcream.

And yea that's enough for day 1.

♥♥DAY 2 ♥♥

It is focusing on moisturising! Firstly cleanse the face with your favourite cleanser.

I used my Shea Terra Rose Hips Black soap. It cleanses my face perfectly and very hydrated so I love using it at night so i can make sure my face doesnt have any make up or things left after using the makeup remover and cleanser. So now my face is completely cleaned.

On day 2, I will scrub my lips with my favourite

Lush bubblegum lip scrub. It's just amazing and taste so yummy. I have finished it already and will talk about it detailed on my 'Products I've used up' post whichs coming soon. Actually you can use any lip scrub or sugar to do the lip scrub. I personally just in love with the bubblegum one haha

I will carry on with my spray,double toners,serum and sheet mask as I mentioned on DAY 1.

♥♥DAY 3♥♥

I will the do same thing as day 1 and day 2. The different is Im not using any sheet mask today. I will use a sleeping mask instead.

Valentine's DAY! I actually not gona do much today. I will sit back and have a mini mask before putting make up on.

I like using the Egg mousse pack from too cool for school before putting make up on. Its quick for around 5-10 minutes. And my minimise my pores after also my face feels very smooth right after using it.

Radiance is very summery , clean and fresh scent, its more like a modern and sophisticated floral fragrance with a scent of champaka flower,mandarin and ivy scent similar to the Dior's J'Adore perfume ;)

Balance is a fruity, floral scent which is bright and flirtatious. It's very romantic and lady smell. I think that scent is perfect for Valentine's DAY!!!!!!!!!

[Review] Aurelia Probiotic Skincare

Hello Beauties! I have been very busy last month, but wrote a lot of reviews on my note book, just haven't got time to type them in and do the photo shoots. Cuz you know it could take up a day or so!! I had time last week and typed 3 of my reviews which i wanted to post in Jan haha hopefully it doesnt confused you and those products i have been using since December so I am not just make them up :)

Aurelia is a very popular probiotic skincare brand in the UK. They are free from parabens , mineral oil, silicones , synthetic fragrances and colours and some more which do not hurt and harm our skin at all. A very famous skincare blogger Caroline has talked about it as well.

Ive their 3 best seller and awarded products in this lovely packaging. They are Miracle Cleanser,Cell Repair Night oil and Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser.

This is a very rich cleanser, I have been using it in whole January. Because my face is bit dry lately. It contains baobab which is an omega rich super fruit ,hibiscus which is an antioxidant also is a nature botox also mongongo oil which is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids so it does keep my face hydrated and didnt feel tight and dry after. I have a sensitive and combination to oily skin and it is prefect for me. I didn't break out or anything like that. I use it every evening and sometimes in the morning if im feeling i need some thing hydrating. It's like cleansing my face without drying it too much.

I pat it dry after as you can see my hand looks glowly and hydrated. It is one of my favourite cleansers i think it would be perfect to use in Winter if you are living in Asia, And any sessions in the UK.

I use this oil 3 times a week or any day that i feel like my face need an extra need. Im not a big fan of oils especially put on my face. As i have a combination and oily skin, i think and feel that oils will make me break out a lot and make my face look super greasy. However, this facial oil is very light but it does give an extra need top on my toner. Also it contains kigelia africana which is firming purpose. So i use it to massage my face 3 to 4 times a week with 2-3 drops is already enough for my whole face. I mainly massaging it on my scars and double chins, I feel that my scars have lighten a little bit also the double chins have firmed! I'm sure if i keep using it with my Mask House diamond V masks, i will have a pointy lovely face very soon!!!

This is very rich moisturiser, only need a very little amount like half of the pea size is already enough for the entire face especially oily skin people, dont take too much!! Because it's very rich, if you have put too much on you face, it would make your face sticky and your hair will be on its way when you're sleeping. My face feels very soft when i wake up. I dont need much sleeping packs or sleeping masks if im putting it on at night. Otherwise,it would be too much and waste the product. it smells of lavender and rose which is perfect and help me to relax and getting the mood to bed.

Overall, I really liked Aurelia's products. From the quality of packagings to the products itself's quality are worth the price and do their job. They have avoided some ingredients which may bring a negative effect to our skin therefore, it is very gentle and safe to use even you have a sensitive skin. If I have to choose 1 out of them. I will choose the Cleanser. I loved the way it brings to my face and I'm sure you will love it after trying them on. You only need very tiny amount everytime therefore those little sample sizes can last me more than a month. It worth a try if you havent found your Mr.right yet, you might love it after trying them out.

As i said, you dont have to buy what i recommended to you. You are always welcome to go to their counter have a smell and try before actually purchasing them.

[Review] Leorex Products

I received a bag of samples of Leorex up-lifting series

Theres a full and clear instruction at the booster packaging.

I deep cleansed my face before using it.I squeezed the sachet repeatedly for like a minute to make sure i have activated the booster completely. ITS compulsory otherwise, it wont be working completely and effectively.

One sachet can only be used once!! So i applied it generously on my face mainly on my problem area. Because i have not got much winkles so i mainly focus on the area i highlighted below

I left it on around 7 minutes, or when you feel the face has became tight and the mask looks dry then you can rinse it off with warm water then cold water.

Pat your face dry then look at the mirror. It's very observe. My pores on my nose has minimised and smaller which is great! also the lines has been removed and lightened. I felt very fresh and lighten up my whole face. I think it is perfect for dull skin as well.

It's how my skin looks after 3 uses, and my mum who is 43years old. She used up 2 sachets. And her winkles have removed a lot after 2 sachets and it gives her face brightened up also very hydrated. She looks much younger after. She is too shy to post her pictures up here><

This eye gel is very smoothing. It reduced those little lines under the eyes immediately. Also it firmed my eyes, I'm having a puffing eyes so I need to massage my eyes for 5 minutes everyday when i wake up. And i found my eyes especially the double eye-lids area are much firmer if i apply before bed. Also it can be a very good primer before putting make up on to smooth the eyes area.

Very hydrating and easy to absorb ! I rub it for like 3 seconds and it absorbed already!

I loved that serum, it's a gel texture. It's very hydrating and easy to absorb like the eye gel. It minimised my pores and doesnt feel greasy at all It feels like putting those pore primer on !!

This is a very light moisturizer. I only put a little bit and its enough for my whole face. It doesnt feel sticky or greasy and it balanced radiance and elasticity after putting it on which it awesome especially for combination to oily skin. The texture is very soft:)

you can see my hand on the left looks so much softer and the dry lines arent that observe as my right hand. Also it brightened up my hand as well.

Overall, i will purchase them in the future. I will use the booster like a weekly or monthly treatment and keep using the moisturiser as i really in love with this texture<3 <3 <3

Besides, Leorex's PR is very sweet. They know i have been breaking out a lot because of lack of sleep and tiredness. So they sent me a Purity Pure.

It is basically same use as the booster above. I squeezed sachet then put it on my face. I left it for 10 minutes. It feels bit stingy when it's on the face, its probably it's killing the germs !!! I rinsed off with warm water then cold water as usual. My face feels so refreshing. It killed all of my pimples and break outs which are start coming out and those little white heads also cleansed my blackheads. My face has brightened up after it. I would say it's an SOS break out treatment. For lighting the scars and marks are not that obvious.Also the face feels bit dry after so its more likely for combination to oily and acne skin But it definitely helps with break outs and pimples. So i will have to carry on using it for the further lighting scars and marks bit.

Overall, Leorex products are very impressive and worked very well on me. I would highly recommend the purity pure for oily and acne pone skins. Remember to put toner and moisturiser on immediately to keep the result.

For ladies over 24 years old, i would highly recommend you to use the boost once a month and start using up-lifting products to prevent winkles and fine lines. It is always good to prevent then it actually comes at you!! That's the secrets for asian women. They tend to start using up-lifting and anti-ageing problems when they are around 24 years to prevent the problem skins. It's one of the reason why they look like 30 even they are 50!!!

Collagen is very important for ladies. Therefore, using collagen products and eating collagen food do also help with anti-ageing!!

I have been preparing this post almost a year.

I have been using paper masks, gel masks, wash off masks and sleeping masks for a very long time.

They were purchased in Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul,Tokyo and Taipei.

Spent loads and loads money on masks !!

I'm going to write a short paragraph of each of the masks I have tried,

then rating them by stars (5 is the highest)

I think this masks are on average, not super impressed. It does make my face feel hydrated after but not as the packaging said for 3 days. It proba a day i would say.

This is super amazing!! it was about £4-5 per box and you get 5 sheets in a box. The red one us super hydrating and got loads serums inside. I normally keep the serums and put those new mask sheet inside overnight for another use!!! Bargain and it does the job! A must when you go to Tokyo

However, my skin goes sensitive to the blue one. I used about 3 sheets of the blue one and my face are still not suitable with it and i get acne after so i dont really recommend this to sensitive skin sisters. also i dont see that my face has brightened up or whitened after using it.

That's very good for sensitive skin. I used it to save my face when i was sensitive with the Kracle whitening mask. It really does the job and the cutting is fitting my face very well.

It was on sale so i bought 20 of these and almost finish my stocking >< i need to go to seoul this summer!!!! It is cheap and does what it says on the packaging. I loved the aloe vera, rice and the beans one. I think the seaweed and the lemons are only hydrating rather than brighten or clean the face.

Pearl Extract from Etude House (bought it in Seoul)

This is very moisturing and very soft finish. Im so regret !!i have only bought 2 pieces !! i will defo stock it up when i go to Asia. However this mask cant leave longer than 30 mins otherwises, your face will getting dry so just tear it off after 20 mins then massage the sheet and the leftover serums to rub all over the body (dont waste it:P)

Moisture Ringer from Tony Moly (bought it in Singapore)

That one is actually similar as the one above it just got one little pack you need to use before putting the mask on. The fitting is better comparing to the one above. According to my memory that one is slightly expensive than the one above and working very similar so i proba would repurchase the one above instead of that one as that not very impressed me. But it defo give my skin a very good hydration.

I cant remember how much was it as i bought it 2 years ago. That helps to clean and purity the pores so can be used once a week and perfect for dry to combination skin. Because if you are oily to combination then i would recommend you to use the clay mask instead of the paper deep clean mask.

However, when you are choosing a clay mask, you need to be careful cuz i get very sensitive with the body shop's seaweed one :)

I have been talking about this gel mask for a couple times before because that is just amazing!!! It doesnt clog my pores at all and clean my blackhead very well. I think it is more gentle than those clay masks as im super sensitive to clay masks, therefore i think it's way better than those. However, i dont really see the hydrating bit. so i will put some hydrating masks or sleeping mask after using it.

It is a perfect with the black gel mask above. It contains almond therefore, it helps to reduces the acnes and blemishes! I have been using it for a month now. twice a week. it comes with the band and a measure rulers. It gets very warm and hot when im putting it on. During that month, my double chins are much firmer and smaller about 2 cm. However,that one need to be carried on. Otherwise, the double chins will be back !!! But in general its a very good SOS kit! if you are having photo shoots or anything that need to get rid of your double chins then you could use it in advanced. But as i said, if you dont keep it up....double chins will be appeared again.

I use it top of my night cream every night, loved the scent of honey. It is like locking my night cream. it doesnt make your skin feel sticky and greasy at al. There are blueberry, Canola and acerola but i personally dont think they are much differences apart from the scents. It really does make your skin feel fresh and hydrated on the next day.

[DIY] Honey and Almonds Mask

I love DIY facial masks ~~
Here's one of my favourite which I have been using daily since Christmas. DIY Masks are more nature and cheap (Awesome! after Boxing day Sale. I have an empty pocket :(

DIY Mask Kit (£1 from Ebay)

Ground Almonds (£1.99 from the co-op)- 1 Teaspoon

Clear Honey (£1.99 from the co-op) - 1 Teaspoon

Lemon juice (35p from tesco) - 3-4 drops

you can add a little bit more the ground almonds if you wish to have a little scrub.

mix them well

For the first timer, you might try to apply them on your hand first. Because you might be allergy to honey or almonds.

if it's ok then apply on your face evenly for around 10-15 mins.

what i normally do, i leave it on my face for 10 minutes then i will massage them for another 5 mins.

Then rinse it with warm water and a facial sponge. after rinse it with cold water. then pat your face.

put your favourite toner , cream on.

it can be used as lip scrub and body scrub.

It's a very bargain and easy way to get a clean and soft face.Also it helps to reduce acnes in a nature way. Of cuz you need to have a balance diet at least 8 glasses of water!!!!It's the key.
