Self portrait time again! Got these nice suspenders from my girlfriend and wanted to see how they look. the cap is from Fjällräven and suspenders from Ben Sherman. All my tripods were still in the car so I had to stripe up an improvised monopod to the bed. For post I used Lightroom and Alien skin's Exposure 4.

Ink Fest CPH 2012

Another visit to the Copenhagen Ink Fest. This year I was there for two days and could also go to the after party on Sunday evening. All in all a great weekend.

Cadillac

My buddy at Planet Motherfuckers is selling his old car he had for the past ten years and he needed some shots not only to sell it, but remember it from. We were hoping to go down to the bridge, Älvsborgsbron, but the evening fog made us look for a different spot. after some cruising we ended up in front of the church Masthuggskyrkan. I used a Canon 5D with a 28-70 2.8 and a speedlite 550EX together with my Apollo Orb. With some cheap Chinese transmitters/receivers I could control both flash and camera from my hand while walking around the car holding the Orb. I've never tried this type of technique before but I'm very pleased with the result. Good fun I'll try it again some day.

Airsoft CQB

Last Sunday I attended an airsoft game together with my team. We were practicing CQB at this old abandoned chemistry factory outside Borås. I realized quite soon that my airsoft gun didn't have any reach due to a faulty hop up. So I decided to pick up my camera instead. I did some filming on my 7D and some with a weapon mounted gopro camera. A friend of mine will do the editing and the film will end up at our airsoft blog Stridsverket. I also ran around with my 5D in my right hand with a 17-35 lens, and a big apollo orb in my left hand. It became quite heavy after a while but the results were good.

Three images also ended up in Photoshop for some extra post work.

Bouldering outside Gothenburg

Yesterday I went out bouldering with some friends on this newly found place outside Gothenburg. Johan and Pontus had done a great job brushing the boulder clean revealing a nice textured rock underneath.

Bouldering @ Tjörn

Today I went out with some friends to boulder at Tjörn. Great weather for being mid January. In a few days Pontus will probably put up some more pictures at Happyboulder and West coast bouldering, and you might get a glimpse of me climbing.

Equipment used was Canon 7D with my new 50mm 1.4. For the night shots a 17-35 2.8 L was used. I also got a chance to try out my new Westcott Apollo Orb that I won on a self portrait competition at fstoppers.

Battle of Hisingen

This last weekend there were a viking battle not far from where I live. Some friends of mine organized this great event, Battle of Hisingen.

While I was not fighting I ran around with my 7D and a 70-200 2.8l IS. In the afternoon I also put up my newly bought octabox from kaffebrus. Newer used these things before and didn't even have the right equipment for it. I hanged it on a tripod and laid my speedlite inside it, balancing on the umbrella mechanic.

Hornbore ting

I was invited to Hornbore ting, a viking market outside Hamburgssund here in Sweden. The surrounding nature is beautiful here and a very nice place for a market like this. It was a commissioned work for Hornbore.

Malta full moon party

While in Malta we went to a Full moon party down the beach with some Maltese friends and One Fire. Nice people that entertained us with a magical fire show and great music.

Swim Through Malta

In my vacation I went free diving in Malta with some friends. Me and Daniel brought our Gopro Hero HD cameras and I had my Canon 7D on land. This was my first time with my new glide track. Wasn't easy getting it down to Malta with ryan air regulations but well worth those six seconds off film I could use in this video :)

Night in the forest

Yesterday I drove out of town for the night just to get some peace. I knew about a shelter about 45min drive from here and arrived at about midnight.

Foteviken 2011

This year at Foteviken was just as great as previous years. I hardly took any pictures though. During Saturday evening a great storm came by and left us with some great colors and light :)

Airsoft with Leica M6

I was at an airsoft game a few weeks ago. As usual I had my 7D with me but also a Leica M6 with a 24mm lens. It seemed really suiting bringing a camera like this to an airsoft game.

Got an email from Michael at Customized Magazin. He's doing a really cool magazine in Germany with lots of customized tramp bikes as well as motor bikes, hot rods, pin ups and tattoos. He had seen my pictures from Copenhagen Ink fest and wanted to include some of them.

When I came home from work today I was not only hungry, I had an urge to film. Five egg sandwiches later and just as many hours I had this.

Here's the music video I've been working on for Marulk. Filmed during their concert in Åland at Pub Bastun.
I used a Canon 5D mkII with a Canon 16-35 f/2.8l on a tripod for the wide shots. And then I had my Canon 7D with a Canon 85mm f/1.2l on my shoulder rig for additional shots. I also used my Canon 28-70 f/2.8l a bit.

Film was edited in Premiere and After effects.

Marulk @ Åland

Back home from Åland with Marulk where they played at Pub Bastun in Mariehamn. I was there to film a music video for their song Devils on a stroll. The video is being edited right now and should be ready next week or so. Here's a few photos from the trip.

Bullitt Hay Day

Last weekend my friend at Bullitt Leather had what he called "Bullitt Hay Day". Extra opening hours with cake and refreshments! A truly great evening with awesome people. I snapped a few pictures between the beers.

Marulk - Devils on a stroll

Just agreed to make Marulks next music video, Devils on a stroll. I've been working with them earlier doing their cover, cutting their video for Potemkin and taking some concert photos. Great guys and great music so I'm really looking forward to the upcoming weekend. We'll head to Åland and Pub Bastun where they will perform and I'll film both the trip and the performance.
