03.18.2012 - St. Patrick's Day Aftermath

2012-03-18T21:56:00.000-04:00

Well.

Last night, I went to my friends place for a party.
They're the gang from the local Starbucks here in Belleville.

Needless to say, I don't really remember much of the night, other than that it was a fantastic time!

I'm posting these pictures here as well, because FaceBook likes to dumb down the quality of my photos by more than I'm comfortable with, despite clicking the "high quality" button.

I only have GIMP as of right now for editing photos, the laptop I'm running on right now is using LinuxMint12.

So, enjoy!

That's about it!

Take care,
-ShaneZed

02.21.2012 - Special Edition

2012-02-21T18:55:00.000-05:00

Well.

Here's a post just for my mom, since she's my biggest fan.
I had called her yesterday, and she complained to me that I haven't posted any work in a while.

So, here you go mom!
Some are old, but most are from my date with Melody in Port. Dalhousie Pier.

Enjoy folks.

That's it for now, thanks for looking.

Much love,
-ShaneZed

02.09.2012 - Mega Update Edition

2012-02-09T19:07:00.000-05:00

Hello all,

It's been a long time since I've posted.
Life has been pretty crazy and hectic lately.

Firstly, I moved to St. Catharines. I live with my girlfriend Melody.
Secondly, I'm a winged monkey at her friend Jason Lupish's film company, OCF (Open Concept Films).
Thirdly, I added an OCF fan page like box on my blog, if you didn't notice it.

Any how. I'm doing graphic design work, directing, videography, and the like with Jason and his partner in crime, Adam.

Check out the fan page to keep up to date with what we're doing.
His company Captivate Bridal teamed up with Weddinggirl.ca, and Rick Denham Photography to create a contest worth $10,000 for bridal planning, all day photography, and all day videography with same-day editing to one lucky bride.

Check out the contest here.
From there, you can see the videos we've been making to promote the contest.
Who knows, you just might win!

But yeah.
For those of you who follow, keep an eye on those websites for hilariousness and fun, and stuff.

That's about it for now!

Much Love,
-ShaneZed

01.08.12 - I guess I'm an Artist

2012-01-08T01:23:00.000-05:00

Well.

I just remembered I'm an artist.
Take a look at this little number I whipped up today!

What do you think?
I'm quite impressed. Thinking of another to follow suit.

That's it for now! Stay posted.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

11.30.2011 - Lightroom

2011-11-30T20:47:00.001-05:00

Just testing out my Lightroom skills.
I'm just getting into it, and I'm loving it so far.

That's all I've got for now.

I'll have to post more when I get some solid work done. Need to go for more photos first though!

Much love,

-ShaneZed

11.11.11 - Remember, Lest We Forget

2011-11-11T12:07:00.001-05:00

Today is November the 11th.
That means it's Remembrance Day.

A day for us to remember our family and loved ones who are fighting for our lives, safety, and freedom, or have died doing so.

So please, take a moment today and remember the fallen, and the ones still fighting.

Lest We Forget.

Thank you.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

10.07.2011 - Photo Walk

2011-10-07T22:10:00.000-04:00

It was gorgeous out today, so my lovely Sam Dean and I went on our own little photo walk/date in this cute little park near my mom's condo.

Surprisingly, it's a clean park, without benches and garbage cans everywhere.
In the middle, there was a little archway and copper sun dial, that's been thoroughly oxidized.

Feel free to click to make them larger, but I do apologize for the lack of the Lightbox I used to have on the blog.
That'll be updated as soon as Google brings it back!

Here's the photo evidence.
Enjoy!

That's everything!

Take care.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

09.23.2011 - Updates

2011-09-23T00:26:00.000-04:00

Welp.

It seems that the lightbox setting has been disabled on my blog for whatever reason, until further notice.
Quite upset about that, as it makes life so much easier.
Don't worry, I'm still trying to figure out how to get it back!

Although, it seems I found out how to disable the need for captchas to post comments on my blog.
Feel free to post anonymously, or using your Google, LiveJournal, WordPress, TypePad, AIM, OpenID, or posting your name/url!

If that's the reason why you refused to comment, fear not. I appreciate the feedback. (:

That's all for now.
Take care.

Much love,
-ShaneZed

09.15.2011 - Good Morning

2011-09-15T08:30:00.000-04:00

So, I was woken up this morning by some annoying buzzing sound coming from somewhere outside.
Was driving me insane, so Sam and I went out for a smoke. We noticed dew on the shrubs in my back yard.

Not usually awake this early on my day off, so I snapped a couple shots.

That's it!

Enjoy.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

The Finer Details.

2011-09-14T20:41:00.001-04:00

No, this isn't a picture update.

~~I just want to let you know that my blog now has a light box, similar to Flickr.~~

~~So now, when you click my photos, it doesn't load the picture all big and stuff.~~

~~To exit out of the light box, there's a big [X] in the top right. You can't miss it.~~

~~Definitely makes my blog easier to navigate!~~

Don't ask me when it happened, because I just realized it myself!
[update 09.23.2011]
Google seems to have disabled my lightbox, even thought it was ever so useful.
I'll get it back eventually, I hope.

Anyways, that's about it for an update.

Enjoy you guys.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

09.14.2011 - 1:30am Fog

2011-09-14T20:30:00.001-04:00

Took this on, I'd say, this past Sunday or Monday.
Had an insomniac moment, and it was really foggy in the field behind my house.

I'm loving the different coloured lights.
Enjoy.

That's it, thanks

Much love,

-ShaneZed

08.11.2011 - Beauty

2011-08-11T22:26:00.000-04:00

As much as I'm really sick of living in Belleville, it still has it's moments of beauty.

At least, that's what I think.

As grimy and awful as this city can be. It's still my home, and it's still decent enough to call it as such.

That's all.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

08.02.2011 - 50mm Bokeh

2011-08-02T20:32:00.002-04:00

I haven't used my 50mm f/1.8 in a while, not to mention I haven't updated in a while.
So, here you go.

Some mad bokeh.

Welp, that's it for now.

Hope you enjoy.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

07.19.2011 - Vintage

2011-07-19T21:56:00.000-04:00

Walking home from Starbucks, there was a vintage car gathering in the Zellers parking lot.
I was so excited walking through it, that I hurried home, grabbed my camera and hurried back.

Needless to say, there were a lot of gorgeous vintage cars.
They sure don't make them like they used to. You'll never see cars with curves as sexy as these.

And not to mention all the gorgeous engine blocks that they have.

That's all or now.

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them!

Classic cars never die, that's for damn sure.

Take care.

Much love,

-ShaneZed

Just a few of her! Enjoy.
