A few photos from our vegetable garden this morning (and a bonus picture of Max)…

If you follow my blog you can probably tell that I don’t over process images. I like to leave people looking natural, I don’t like messing up skin tones by running a bunch of different editing process over my images. I want people to see on the blog, what they can expect to find in their proofing gallery. However, this session with Zoe was so fun and quirky that I just had to use a few funky edits… and I just love the results! So for a break my usual, here is Zoe’s kickin’ senior session!

If you know me at all you know that my favorite sessions to take are Senior sessions. This session with Gillian was a perfect example of why I love working with soon-to-be grads. I get to make a new friend, we talk, laugh, and just hang out for an hour or two. In the end she loves her beautiful pictures and I had a great time working with her. Win win!

These photos are a few from my maternity session with Britni and Chris. I love outdoor maternity sessions. Taking maternity photos outdoors gives them such a fresh twist. If you call me wanting to have pics taken of your gorgeous baby belly, you better believe that I’m going to try to take them outside.

I worked with the Pitts family over the holiday weekend. They are a very fun group to work with. All their children were in town for the holiday and Mom and Dad wanted to have new family photos taken. I took individual portraits of all their children as well as a big family photo. You may recognize Tanner from his senior portrait session earlier this year.

I love the foliage in this session with the Perkins Family! I have worked with this family several other times and it’s so fun seeing their kids grow. This time when we met up for our session it wasone of those perfect autumn evenings where the leaves are practically glowing from yellow to red and the temperature outside is perfect. We took a couple pictures with the whole family, then with their three children, and at the end I shot a few of little Gisela (see the cutie-pie in bright pink!).

I met the January Girls and their mother for this session. I just loved loved loved their cute outfits which were absolutely perfect for our fall afternoon when I took these pictures! Enjoy!

I took Katie’s senior photos recently. She is just such a beauty it was so hard to pick my favorite images for this post. Here are the few that I posted but I really think I could post a Katie “part 2″.

Here are a few photos from Joe’s senior session down in Bricktown. We walked up and down the alleys and streets taking pictures and talking. Joe and his mother were wonderful to work with. Hope you love your pictures Joe!

My favorite days are rainy ones… like today. Conveniently, there was too much lightning for me to feel comfortable having my computer on, so I unplugged it and spent a cozy morning baking Ginger Snaps and hanging out with Max.

Jennifer Bellah, a photographer from Huntsville Texas contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I could assist her as a second shooter on an upcoming wedding here in Oklahoma City. I was happy to help! I love seeing how other photographers work and second shooting is a great way to do that! Jennifer was wonderful to work with too!!

The bride and groom were also great to work with; such sweet people! Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It was my first time to shoot a wedding at Rose Briar Place. It is such an nice venue. The chapel, reception hall, and bridal suite are all located in close proximity to each other (makes everything easier) and the beautifully renovated facility provided a great setting for the photographs.

This post is not as extensive as a regular wedding post because I did not photograph every aspect of the wedding, but I have selected a few of my favorites to share.

I loved working with Amanda!  I actually met her at Bridgette’s photo shoot (see previous post) and she booked me to shoot her senior photos while we were there.  She wanted to take her pictures out on location at at her grandfather’s house as well as with her first car, her vw beetle… so cute!  Way to go on thinking outside the box and picking a place that will always be meaningful and important!

I love the earthy, laid-back feel of this session with Bridgette! She’s totally got that Oklahoma girl-next-door look down!

We met out by the round barn, in Arcadia… which seems to be a favorite this year. So, in an effort to keep it fresh, I shot in new and different spots so her photos would be one of a kind, and just love how they turned out!

(It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve posted a family session!)

During this session with the Halls we did a lot of swinging, telling stories, and playing games. Somewhere between Simon Says and Ring Around the Rosy we got some great family pictures! It helps that these kids are so adorable.

I really enjoyed meeting Amanda and her mother. They were both such great people to work with. We had a good time traipsing down dirt roads and into fields to get these pictures. I think the locations we went to were a perfect fit for her.

Just look at her eyes… you can totally see what a sweetie she is!
