As the Abbott character has evolved over time, Gooseberry has remained the same. He is still a black cat who sits, shyly, in a box. This is coming up on 12 years old or so; Abbott has evolved a bit, mostly in the haticological area. The hat is really the only thing that can throw him off. All of the other elements are fluid enough to survive my crappy drawing skills.
