dollar account

Chief Justice Corona claimed that he has at least $2.4 million in his four dollar accounts and claimed that he earned his deposits since his family invested in foreign exchange.

We may have our own opinion but the decision is in the hands of the senators, a judgment which may be political or probably so. I can only hope the senate will judge in favor of the Republic of the Philippines. Us Filipino people who have entrusted the country and our future to these elected officials. I hope their judgment will turn this country around and uphold the common good of the Filipino people through moral descendancy and push our nation forward.

We have to change the system of our country. Our problem is not Corona, almost entirely of them are guilty of this crime, from barangay to national level, almost everybody wants to cut their taxes and all that, and if we are going to impeach each and everyone, and get rid of the garbages, it will take 1,000 years before the country will be free from this dirt.

I truly believe these politicians are keeping a great deal of skeletons in their closets. They are, in the strongest term, leech! I'm a private individual living modestly to what my honest earning is. Consequently, I detest corruption!

If the CJ had done these accusations, he should be persecuted!

3,852 cases were filed against Mayors in 2011.

1,128 complaints for Members of the Philippine National Police.

562 cases for members of the Department of Education.

490 cases for The Philippine Information Agency.

416 cases for Bureau of Internal Revenue.

304 cases for the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

177 cases for Bureau of Customs.

155 cases for Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

148 cases for Department of Social Welfare and Development.

98 cases for Department of Justice.

92 cases were filed against personnel of the Department of Finance.

87 cases for Department of Health.

86 cases for Department of Public Works and Highways.

81 cases for Department of Agrarian Reform.

57 cases for Commission on Higher Education.

54 cases for Commission on Elections.

48 cases for National Labor Relations Commission.

47 cases for Bureau of Fire Protection.

45 cases for both National Bureau of Investigation and National Economic Development Authority.

So many filed cases... but "The Office of the Ombudsman did not provide information on the status of the complaints."

Now that the ombudsman has this list of corrupt people and agencies, the better question is: what are they going to do about it, or is there something they can do about it? If not, its useless knowing about it. And this government is as useless as the past ones.

How very interesting! DEPED has the third highest incidence of graft cases filed against its employees and to think that DEPED has the biggest annual budget and has lots of grants and joint ventures with big firms supporting it with donations, scholarship grants, teacher-training sponsorship programs, etc. A veritable milking cow.

LGU's are no. 1? No surprise is there.

All the names of corrupt officials should be listed and posted online publicly, starting from the Sangguniang kabataan (yes they start this early), Barangay officials, etc. up to the top most positions in the Government. This kind of information will make the corruption err, i mean government more transparent.

So many are so insecure about their phone that they even post what their vehicles are...

Anyway, this is a great innovation. Might be useless to some, but hey we are one step closer to interactive holograms.

Everytime they make something a new, it's always an exceptional and brings a new Innovation. and what more can you ask for? It's an Android PHONE :D

Bye the way, Iphone is for the people who doesn't know anything with a phone except to call, text, play a game, and play a music.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ING Direct for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Been reviewed my financial status today using ING Direct which offer a great widget that gives me the ability to find out, on average, and how much households are saving in selected areas.

The widget is free to use if you want to know how much your saving accounts are growing and make the best of it. Will help you choose to see what savings account could be right for you as well.

Try out in yourself the "My Comparison Table" and you'll see how much you could be saving. I've done it and now I know how my saving accounts going to be, it's only ING Direct offer this free widget for the people wants to plan a good savings for their future.

ING Direct offers a decent way to do banking like Savings Accounts, the easy access account with no penalties. Also offer Loyalty Saver, a rewarding rate for not making withdrawals. And the best one is the Growth Saver, a higher rate for higher balances.

Isn't it nice to know how much our savings is? The best way is to try the widget and become self-conscious on your savings today and be happy for achieving it.

This guide will help you to buy with confidence.

The iPod touch is the cheapest full-iOS device and boasts many iPhone 4 features at a fraction of the price. It's got the sharp Retina display, fast A4 processor, FaceTime video calling, can record HD video, and connects to Wi-Fi networks. For web browsing, listening to music and shooting video, it's on a par with the iPhone 4.

However, the iPod touch won't connect you direct to a mobile network. This means you can't make a regular calls and can only access the web over Wi-Fi. But once you've bought an iPod touch, there's no contract or regular top-ups to pay for at all. And by using apps such as Skype, you can still make calls over Wifi.

The iPhone 4 is arguably the ultimate mobile. It does everything the iPod touch does, but it has a better rear-facing camera and the Retina display features in-Plane Switching (for improved viewing angles). Yes, there's the antenna issue, but a case solves this. You will be shelling out on a contract or PAYG top-ups for as long as you want to use the phone, though.

Remember that the 8GB iPhone 3GS is still available, and it's a very able performer. It tuns iOS 4 well (and will run iOS 5), but lacks the Retina display and FaceTime calling (since there's no front-camera). The battery life and the rear-facing camera are inferior, too. However, it remains an impressive product.

Then there's the iPad 2. You have the choice of Wi-Fi only or you can pay more for a model including 3G mobile connectivity. Both have a dual-core A5 processor, a 9.7-inch screen, front-and-rear-facing FaceTime cameras and phenomenal battery life.
This is my very first time I am updating on the air using iOS 5.0.

Yes, I didn't use iTunes to connect my iPhone just to update the system. Simply, just go to Settings => General => Software Update, and tap Download and Install (see illustration below).

It says will fix the bugs affecting battery life but there are comments posted on the report about users who are still experiencing inexplicable battery drainage problems.

I haven't seen any problem at all though I've noticed that my battery usage was still the same before my update.

I still want to update my iPhone to keep up to date of the latest iOS for a better experience. Do you have other problems? Tell us in the comments.

Kate is remarkable, I think she is good for William and like Diana in some ways but also stronger and more mature than Diana was when she became such an Icon. I love to see them, wish them well but am glad they have some space between us and their REAL LIVES as I think the media had too much of Diana, she deserved better. Charles and the entire family failed Diana, in neutering her to her maturity, I think that is the difference between Diana and Kate as William having seen this will be more supportive and aware of the dangers.

She looks beautiful - reminds me of Diana sometimes with her tall and slender figure.

What do you think of the Lady In Red?
A month to go once again before Christmas for Christians and sooner or later people are going to face the fact and accept that they are going to have to face the inevitable and that is Christmas shopping.

One of the famous things that I can find on every house during Christmas eve is Stocking Fillers. These are empty sock that children hang on Christmas trees and sometimes outside the door so that Santa Claus (or Father Christmas) can fill it with small toys, coins, fruit, candy or other small gifts when he arrives.

These kids will definitely look for their stockings in the morning to find exciting presents for them. And these will make them so much fun and making the occasion more merrier.

Have you try one of those for you kids?

The £5m device is being promoted by British luxury goods specialist Stuart Hughes. The iPad 2 is encrusted with 12.5-carat diamonds and has 53 separate gems forming the iconic Apple logo. The back section has been formed in 24-carat gold and weighs two kilogrammes. But the most expensive part is actually the main front frame which is made from the oldest rock the world has to offer - Ammolite.

I spent a weekend with an ipad and my honest opinion, overrated and very overpriced! It's a pricey gadget and makes me laugh, is that an iMac costs about the same and can do so much more in all areas apart from being something you can slip in a small case?

Mmm, shiny thing! I can't believe I've been living without one of these. I've seen one of these diamond encusted iPods in Harrods going for £50K. However buys this overrated junk may have the money but, they have no taste. Once the iPad 3 is out, it'll only be worth scrap value which even though it's a huge loss, will still be a tidy sum.

Maybe Stuart Hughes should just grow up and take off his rose coloured glasses and see the poverty around in this country, he would be appreciated and loved if he gave £5m to the poor, homeless, child poverty, elderly, animals, poppy or help for heroes charities that are around.

Its just an iPad why would you want a 5 million Pound one it has the same features as the £399 one why do you need a GOLD IPAD? YOUD HAVE TO HAVE A GOLDEN HEAD TO BUY THAT.

For the second time tomorrow.

That’s because, across Europe, we put our clocks back by one hour ‘tonight’ to welcome back Greenwich Mean Time.

Why do the clocks change?

The website of Woodlands Junior School in Kent explains:

They've been changing the clocks forwards and backwards in the UK since 1916. It’s all to do with saving the hours of daylight, and was started by a man called William Willett, a London builder, who lived in Petts Wood in Kent (near our school).

William Willett first proposed the idea of British Summer Time in 1907 in a pamphlet entitled ‘The Waste of Daylight’. Willett had noticed that the summer mornings’ light was wasted while people slept, and that the time would be better utilised in the afternoon by putting the clocks forward. After campaigning for years the British Government finally adopted the system a year after Willett’s death.
You may have read reports of a possible change to this tradition in the news recently, and Conservative MP Rebecca Harris appeared on The Daily Politics yesterday to discuss why she is hoping to move the UK to European time. But for now, at least, it seems that our watches will be ticking back an hour for another year.

Even though there are travel advisories such like this of UK then I ask how come that there are many foreigners aside from having a vacation here, they prefer to have their retirements here. violence is everywhere, it's a normal world we have.

Many foreigners living in our country can attest that they enjoy the protection and assistance of no less than their neighbors. Our crime rate is not even a tenth of that of New York, USA. It is just a matter of coordinating with the proper authorities to live safely and securely.

I feel insulted on behalf of the Philippine population. Yes there are places in Southern Mindanao that are not as safe as other places but I didn't see any Philippine travel warnings about going to the UK and being caught up is street violence and riots nor any warnings about UK, Australia where there are street roberies and murders daily which is no different to any major city in the world. There are pick pockets, thiefs and everywhere someone looking to exploit others.

I have lived here in UK and like any city there are places best avoided paticularly at night but for a country to issue travel warnings is an insult and only looks at a very very small percentage of what is a beautiful and friendly nation.

Wake up UK and I hope the Philippine government also issues warnings about travel to the UK and what to avoid.

Antonio Trillanes IV said there may be plans to overthrow the Aquino administration due to alleged restlessness in the military.

For once, I would very much appreciate it if the likes of Sen. Trillanes would keep their mouth shut and avoid conveying irresponsible statements to the public.

Obviously, he is inciting a military destabilization, and in this dire situation of our country, a coup is the least that we need, much less people like him. It does not help in any way or form to try taking advantage of our demoralized forces due to the loss they suffered recently to overthrow yet another president while the insurgents are spreading havoc in Mindanao.

The least he can do is to motivate the AFP further and not the other way around, or he should just shut up (as I mentioned before). Besides, coup, revolts would only drag this country back to square one - replacing bad leaders with an even worst and then the cycle will start all over again. Why can we just move forward?

It's only a cruel reminder to people that Philippines is not only the impeachment capital on planet earth, but also the reigning coup d'etat country of the world. While some actors of the previous military uprising are now senators, and others have been given juicy positions in the government, it is common knowledge there are tens of thousands of wannabes out there who're just waiting for their own opportunity too.

Ask the old, accomplished coupe players like Honasan, Lim, Trillianes, etc., and they'd tell you the rewards are so high, while the risks are too minimal. In fact, if you keep fighting for it, you might even get elected to Congress, or in a worst-case scenario you get appointed for a weighty position at customs. So there, that doesn't sound too bad, does it?

All of them deserved to be the winner but lets just accept the fact that the Maasinhon Trio got the highest text votes in the competition. I hope you vote your bet, right? Don't be bitter. We must be proud instead of the versatile talents of our Kababayang Pinoy.

But I want to suggest if there's next PGT Season 4 the percentage of the text votes should not be the basis of determining the Grand Winner, it must be a part of criteria only or if they want Add a Special award to the finalist who got the highest vote for the texters choice.

It wasn't the judges who chose them as winners! Look guys, I myself was shocked about the results though MAASINHON TRIO was one of my bets. BUT RULES ARE RULES! Don't put all the blame on the PGT management they just follow the rules! Whatever the result was, we can't do anything about it. Anyway, it's the people who voted for who the winners would be, not the Judges nor the management.

Again, the show is an international franchise. The rules and mechanics of determining the winner was set by the creators of the show which are from U.K.

Though the winner in PGT is good in their field, I'm not expecting them to win. Don't be disappointed, it must have been the unity of their province who supported them for gathering the highest vote. I haven't viewed them all, but I've seen an outstanding performance from Synerygy. Though if Khalil is the one declared to be the winner, I will understand due to his teenage fans which is supposedly more active in voting.

The only reason these two men were hunted down and arrested is probably due to the fact that China is on the world stage, under the spotlights, and everyone is aware of what happened to this child and watching to see the actions taken by the Chinese Government. If this horrible event was not broadcast I expect it would have been swept under the rug as this was only a female and not a male child.
We also should condemn mother for her gross negligence for not watching her closely. Crass materialism makes people in China by and large uncared and unfeeling toward fellow countryman in distress.
My heart is broken for you Yue Yue... May you rest in peace with the Lord. I hope this would serve as an eye opener to the Chinese government. Chinese are human not monsters so please act according to what you are. I hope that driver will feel the guilt that he could not sleep his whole life. He destroyed Yue yue's precious future and that's very heart breaking to the parents heart.

This poor little girl is not my child but the moment I heard such bad news and seen the video, I couldn't get over of the pain until now. I feel so really bad! My heart just can't stand the pain.

Now, you'll feel no more pain but the pain stays in my heart as I remember you and the people who did this to you. I will pray for your soul and your family, and for the shameful people who let this thing happened.

Well I am very happy and very proud being Filipino. No Filipino ever leave and ignore the child dying in the street . Those passerby who walk and never extend help and ignore the dying child I hope it happened to you the way the child suffered how cruel people are in these days. No heart and no God at all in their hearts.

May this incident serves as a learning experience not only in China but to everyone. Always exercise kindness and humanity to everyone you see...
Warning: Graphic video

The muslim celebration celebrated worldwide is a "festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" in commemoration of the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God.

"Eid'l Adha" is like a feast celebration for our Muslim brethren, rich families slaughtered cow or goat and half of it they give to their poor brethren.

Sometimes they have different way to do this in different countries but the meaning is the same share your blessings to the poor.

We should not generalize the Muslim that they are always the villain, their are no different as Christian we are also capable of horrible things. We should accept that in this world there's always good and bad be it Christian or Muslim.

Let's look into perspective when it comes to economy, poverty, social degradation, education, OFW, crises in Mindanao etc... Erap could be the guy in terms of military action against the rebels BUT consider taking a look on the other side. I'm not against Erap, let's not just decide so abruptly because of a single issue.

I think most of the pinoys did not really know the real score on what really happens in Mindanao.

I came from Mindanao and I have few friends coming from Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-tawi. They're Muslims, to name as Tausug's. Most of us did not know that soldiers and Abu Sayaff's were acting just normal when in public places, like in poblacion o centro ng lungsud. They even played basketball together according to my friends. To think that they really act that way, you can't say that there's really a conflict between the government and the rebels.

My thought is that maybe this was just a game played by the higher officials of the AFP to caught the attentions of the public. Like US, for them, war is money because in war, weapons are sold. Come to think of it, some of the weapons of the rebels dicovered to be from AFP.

What if this was just a game for them. And only the higher officials are behind on this. So many things to say about this issue but only the people in Mindanao, some, knows the real story of this.

If you want to know more, ask them...

Peace!

I couldn't be able to use my phone in some Apps because it was too expensive every time I download especially on games. Recently, I found Straight Talk which you can have your downloads as many as you can all the apps and games you need. A smart phone with a smart plan, and as always, no contract. The power of Android phones, at only $45/month for unlimited use. Feel Richer with Android.

I love the idea that I feel richer with Straight Talk because I cut my cell phone bill in half. You have to be crazy to be on a contract these days when you can get everything you need without one. I can now be able to call a friend to keep them in touch what's my life abroad is.

Imagine the amount of money you could save switching to Straight Talk. As what my mom said, save money for my future ... now seems I had a happy life saving to buy some stuff, mom knows best.

What would you buy with the extra money you save? With your extra money, you had a chance to buy what you've always wanted, and now you can simply have it...

There are no contracts, no surprise bills and no credit checks. Great nationwide coverage and excellent reception/connectivity. Finally, Straight Talk only uses trusted phone manufacturers like LG, Motorola, Kyocera, Nokia and Samsung.

Aesthetically, not good. Somethings will just be more beautiful when left as is. And knowing Filipinos' kind of thinking, other provinces will copy it and do the same thing with their tourist spots and eventually, before we know it, the Philippines will be like "signage capital of the world" or "the texted capital of the world.." Our ancestors had valued volcanoes as sacred, for Laon's sake. I believe the Batangas officials can think of better things to promote tourism rather than that.

Quite an insult to the Filipinos and to Taal Volcano. You're putting a sign just to justify and to prove to us that Taal is part of Batangas? I hope you can start brainstorming about other things to do to enhance tourism in Batangas, and leave Taal volcano alone! It's already perfect on its own. Please stop ruining our environment!

Gov. Santos if you are talking about enhancement then you should do it like in postcards were Taal Volcano is the superstar, road maps to Taal must be visible in our airports, hotels and travel agencies and i am talking free maps here, advertisements in the Internet by having websites and other media instruments. In addition, clean toilets in the area. These are the enhancement that are needed for Taal and not putting a gigantic name withing the area because you are desecrating the place. If this was patterned like in Hollywood then you got it all wrong. Introducing the Taal Volcano could be done through advertisements and tour guides. Simple as that.

The UN are still in it for the long run now... the transitional government are put in place by capitalists, they step out of line same again.

Gaddafi although evil had good ideas mainly the gold standard for Africa as an African Union and global economic powerhouse, gold for oil instead of the US dollar which needs to be replaced as the global reserve currency by a basket of currencies to reduce volatility and global domination by the bakers of only a few countries.

Ok, so everyone is entitled to their opinion and it would seem that most of the comments on Gaddafi are pleased. It's a pity they don't know a little more about what the man did for the country. The FACTS are that he did a great deal for his people in the way of education, jobs, housing, industry etc. And for that most Libyans liked him.

Only the West didn't like him because they couldn't get the oil. So they have murdered him. Libya wont be the same again. It has now been ruined. And most of the reports of the fighting were rubbish. The Western press 'talking it up' I wonder who was paying them.

It is not funny. Saddam in a rat hole, Gaddafi shouting "dont shoot, dont shoot" in bid to save his life. To think that these are the tough people who sent out others to die for a CAUSE they so believed in but do not want to die for the same cause themselves!

Any lesson here?

The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is studying the phaseout and sale of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in order to pay for the cost of the proposed Clark International Airport in Pampanga to meet the country's airport needs and boost the country’s tourism industry.

If you were living from the south of Manila (Batangas-Cavite-Laguna), what would you think of it, I bet you will cringe. Before they go head on, they should properly lay-out the supporting infrastructure for it. Like, superhiways or MRT/Rail system that will connect directly to the airport without going through much hassle.... Uh does this also means that the crocs and voltures from NAIA 1 will also transfer?

Let's say that Diosdado Macapagal Airport in Clark is way better than NAIA terminal I but if I were you Mr. Secretary I will just improve the system inside the Terminal-1 than selling it.

Clark is too far especially for the people that is living in Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna provinces even though there is SCTEX or the Northrail project it will just cost much to those people.

Fire those people in the Terminal-I that is not doing good, improve the system inside. You can also direct some flights in terminal 3. That terminal is way too big and only few flights are going in and out there.

But well, I think expanding the Clark Airport is not actually a bad idea afterall specially if they`re gonna put up a new railway station which will make transportation easier and accessible. Location is good as well, it`s inside the Air Base and sure tourist will be more satisfied and feel safe.

There`s still NAIA 3 so other international flight in Manila won`t be affected, they should focus on how to make NAIA 3 look better and meet the standard of international airport!

Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 has just been voted, again, as among the world's worst airport in a reader poll.

I don't know in what category this survey was made. A lot of lousy and disorganized airports exist in the world. Let them look at the third world countries airports so that they may know how this airports operate. If Philippine terminal is compared with the terminals of airports in first world countries, then it would be reasonable since Philippines could not match the budget of rich countries.

But well, in this poll, I think the government officials and the officials of NAIA are to be congratulated for their no sweat achievement.

This is the result of their productive corruptions. Pardon me for those who knew they serve the country and NAIA religiously.

Again, I congratulate the Philippines along with its airport officials, the aviation security and the immigaration officers for continuing their work to make our airport the worst in the world. Keep it up! You deserve all applause!

This is the result of graft and corruption done by government officials and also lack of discipline of the people.

I know we still can't afford major renovations but I think the government should find ways to improve our airport facilities and appearances. I feel sorry for NAIA for having such facilities and people.

After all, we should live within our means, let's not pretend if we don't have it. Projecting a good image of our country helps in getting more tourists than creating more insults. With more of them coming, money generated could be used to uplift the facility. Instead of helping the government by giving suggestions, thoughtless people added more insults to the injury.

I know you too have your experience in NAIA, will you consider it as the world's worst airport?

I am not a pro MARCOS nor a pro AQUINO... but I only have this one question...

Should the late President Marcos will be buried in Libingan ng mga Bayani?

I've made a research on the said Libingan ng mga Bayani and how was this created and its purpose. Here's I've found out:

The Republic Memorial Cemetery at Fort McKinley was

established in May 1947 as a fitting tribute to the gallant

Filipino men and women who brought honor to the country and

fought for the sake of freedom and democracy.

On October 27, 1954, the Memorial Cemetery was renamed Libingan Ng Mga

Bayani (LNMB) by the late President Ramon Magsaysay.

Presidential Proclamation No. 208 was then issued by

PRESIDENT FERDINAND E. MARCOS on May 28, 1967, to reserve

an area of 142 hectares from the Fort Bonifacio Military

Reservation.

This was intended for National Shrine purposes

and placed under the administration of the Military Shrines

Services, Philippine Veterans Affairs, Department of

National Defense.

The Libingan Ng Mga Bayani is under the administration and

maintenance of the Grave Service Unit (GSU), a unit of the

Philippine Army Support, Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The mission of the GSU is to provide grave services to

deceased military personnel who died in line of duty or

were honorably discharged, FILIPINO VETERANS, FORMER

PRESIDENTS, GOVERNMENT DIGNITARIES, STATESMAN AND NATIONAL

ARTISTS.

Aside from maintaining the LNMB and the military

grave site at Manila North Cemetery, the unit is also

capable of providing mortuarial and memorial services to

authorized personnel.

My final message:
Aquino and Marcos should reconcile for the country... move on Philippines!

I was just watching a report of the release of the Apple iPhone 4S in London and if you check the video its practically all students, some even walking away with more than one.

When they were asked how much they had paid one guy said the price didn't make any sense and he considered it obscene to even mention it.

Unfortunately most of these students will be the same ones marching on the streets protesting tuition hikes which is for their future and their own good.

When it comes to spending money on such gadgets as phones or other similar products, money never seems to be a question, seems to me if you have to pick between less fancier phone or your education, I would choose the latter.

Almost every student you see has the most recent electronic gadgets as soon as they are available, and for the better part, these are the same ones who complain about everyday things that are for their own good. This whole thing is more of a fad than anything else, its who will be seen with the latest gadget first.

Last night we had a gathering of Filipino friends. I had a good time over all and I'm happy to celebrate the occasion because I have met many new Filipino friends.

In this gathering, there are something that I have noticed while having fun with them. I remember my friends in Philippines when things like this; one of it is I couldn't have make confortable myself the best I can. Usually I do have a long night chatting with friends outside the house and extend more hours of having fun.

Here England, it's because of the cold weather nowadays I couldn't do it outside the house anymore. I really wanted to go out and have a fresh air while enjoying myself with friends like in the Philippines but I'm really freezing whenever I tried to go out and sat along with them.

That's make me feel unhappy sometimes remembering my life way back home. Honestly, I'm not really enjoying myself during my stay in abroad, most of the time I am at work and goes straight to where I live.

This is what life is, we have to work in order to live. We need to sacrifice in order to be able to really focus and achieve what you want and need to achieve.

We can do this, and we can be successful, but it is time consuming and takes a lot of work and sacrifice and sometimes more work and more sacrifice than we would have imagined.
