As housing, healthcare, rent, energy, and basic living costs spiral upward, millions of ordinary Americans are squeezed dry so a tiny circle of financiers, corporate landlords, contractors, lobbyists, and political insiders can accumulate ever larger fortunes. For many Americans, Washington increasingly resembles a feeding trough for connected elites, where public office is transformed into a profit machine and taxpayer money flows upward into private hands while the US debt crisis has begun. ________

The Black Hole Devouring Western Economies

By Islander Reports | May 17, 2026

There’s a massive black hole devouring the Western economies, and it’s been expanding for decades. Year after year, it pulls in huge amounts of money that could have gone toward building real infrastructure, new factories, better technology, and actual productive growth, only to pump it straight into ever higher home prices.

This might be one of the biggest overlooked explanations for why so many Western economies feel stuck despite the official numbers. The same destructive pattern is playing out in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

In a healthy economy, when prices for something rise, the market responds by increasing supply. Capital flows in, production ramps up, and things balance out. Simple self-correction that keeps everything stable.

But picture an asset class where supply is basically fixed no matter how much money chases it. Think prime urban land or housing stock in big cities. Flood it with investment, and the only result is higher prices. No new quantity appears to meet the demand.

Let's call it the rentier asset black hole.

It works in clear stages:

1. It keeps growing through accumulation. Rising prices make it look like a better bet, so more capital rushes in, driving prices even higher in a self-reinforcing loop.

2. It distorts all surrounding decisions. Capital that ought to fund productive businesses or infrastructure gets diverted because the risk adjusted returns on housing crush everything else, especially with leverage and tax breaks thrown in.

3. It reaches a point of no return — an event horizon where the usual economic rules stop working the way they should. What used to be diminishing returns to capital flips completely, and the unproductive asset starts offering stronger pull than real growth opportunities.

4. The headline GDP figures and bank balance sheets look decent because they capture the asset inflation and imputed rents, but the missed factories, stalled innovation, and hollowed out real economy stay invisible.

Looking at Canada, in places like the Greater Toronto Area, we've seen housing prices detach completely from wages. Working families struggle while GTA detached homes trade well above the $1 million mark and require 63% of a typical household's income just to service ownership costs. High immigration boosts demand, strict zoning blocks supply, easy mortgage credit treats homes as the ultimate safe asset, and governments celebrate the "wealth effect." Meanwhile, the money that could revive manufacturing, mining, or critical projects sits parked in real estate.

The bill lands squarely on young Canadians choosing between rent and groceries.

The UK has been dealing with this for even longer. London and the South East became the prime example decades ago. As industry declined and capital shifted, housing became the dominant attractor, with London homes selling for over 10.5 times average earnings. The financial sector ballooned by lending against it, while the productive base shrank. Same pattern: strong numbers on paper, but a weakened real economy underneath.

Australia and New Zealand mirror the pattern exactly. Sydney homes command 13.8 times median income, with Melbourne and Auckland locked in the same cycle — exploding prices, a generation largely priced out of ownership, and capital flowing away from businesses that actually create things.

These countries share similar property laws, cultural attitudes toward real estate, and policy incentives that supercharge the cycle.

Leaders across the spectrum have allowed it because rising asset values feel like success, banks get safe collateral, and the benefiting class has influence. But basic economics, geography, and math don’t bend to wishful thinking. You can't build a strong, innovative nation when the best capital is endlessly chasing fixed location property instead of creating value.

Time to name this beast and get capital building the future again, before the next generation inherits nothing but rent receipts.

________

Editor's note: In Japan, it's basically the same story as western countries. Japan, with decades of ultra-loose monetary policy, financial engineering (quantitative easing), and state-backed market intervention have also quietly entrenched a powerful rentier order built around asset preservation rather than broad national renewal. While ordinary workers endured stagnant wages and economic insecurity for years, massive liquidity from the central banking system flowed into financial markets, government debt support, corporate balance sheets, and real-estate assets, disproportionately benefiting those who already owned wealth. An aging political and corporate establishment (deeply entrenched self-serving bureaucracy), protected by bureaucracy, banking networks, and institutional inertia, has often appeared more committed to sustaining asset prices and shielding entrenched interests than rebuilding a vibrant middle class. The result is a society where younger generations increasingly feel locked out of ownership, burdened by rising costs and diminishing opportunity, while an insulated financial and political elite continue to manage decline in ways that preserve their own position.

Earnings, income, and wealth inequality in Japan: a long-term perspective, 1984–2019

Japanese Are Feeling the Economy Collapse in Real-Time

Even to the extent now America is being referred to as a "banana republic":

US Officially a Banana Republic

More on the rentier class:

Rentier Capitalism and the Illusion of Growth

California no longer governs like a state attempting...

Editor's note: ...to control spending. It governs like a harvesting machine that consumes revenue faster than society can produce it. Every economic innovation eventually becomes another target for extraction. Homes are taxed. Fuel is taxed. Income is taxed. Property is taxed. Energy is taxed. Automobiles are taxed. Utilities are taxed. Food is taxed. Now even the digital tools required to work, create, communicate, and survive in the modern economy are being pulled into Sacramento's revenue net. The message is unmistakable: nothing productive will remain untaxed once government dependency on endless spending reaches critical mass. What makes the proposal especially revealing is the timing. Californians already face crushing living costs, out of control rent, failing infrastructure in major cities, visible urban decay, mass retail theft, corporate flight, and one of the largest population outflows in modern American history (see Here's Where Wealth Is Moving In America). Yet instead of confronting the structural failures driving people away, the political class behaves like an empire in decline, squeezing harder as the tax base weakens. The software tax is not merely about revenue. To critics, it symbolizes a government so financially unbalanced it can no longer distinguish between economic vitality and a resource to be harvested until exhaustion.

The driving force behind California's proposed software tax is Governor White Teeth and the Democratic power structure surrounding Sacramento's budget apparatus. Newsom personally unveiled the measure as part of his revised $350 billion state budget, backed by Democratic legislative leadership, state finance officials, and progressive fiscal groups demanding new revenue streams to sustain California's expanding government machinery. This is not tax reform. It is the latest example of a political class that has normalized permanent revenue extraction to feed a system addicted to growth, spending, and bureaucratic expansion while ordinary residents absorb the economic pressure.

California's political leadership in Sacramento increasingly embraces a quasi-statist model in which government expansion, redistribution, regulation, and centralized economic management steadily override market flexibility and individual financial autonomy. To opponents, the proposed software tax reflects an ideology that treats private-sector productivity less as something to protect and more as a permanent revenue reservoir for an ever-growing administrative state.

The book presents the decline of national identity, sovereignty, and historical memory as one of the defining crises of the modern age, claiming that globalization, financial power, and cultural fragmentation have weakened the foundations of the English-speaking world. This not only goes for England but America as well.

The Unite the Kingdom rally is taking place today.

Despite Keir Starmer’s best efforts to discourage and ban people from attending, under the banner "Four Nations. One Kingdom. Under God," a huge crowd from across the United Kingdom and further afield is gathering in London to highlight the destruction Starmer and his cronies are causing, and to stand up for their rights, freedoms and their culture.

The rally is not only for the United Kingdom, but for the West. So, Starmer has taken it upon himself to stop representatives from Western nations from attending the rally. He has been busy cancelling their visas so that they are unable to enter the UK.

On Monday, during a press conference, Keir Starmer again showed his left-wing autocratic tendencies. He announced that he will stop "far right agitators" entering the UK to attend the rally.

Wow … Starmer has now admitted he will stop ‘Right wing’ agitators coming to the UK to attend the Unite the Kingdom March on Saturday. pic.twitter.com/XmtDmn4p9l
— Bernie (@Artemisfornow) May 11, 2026

On hearing about Starmer’s plans, Robinson said, "We [ ] have members of Congress coming over to speak – will Starmer have the guts to ban Congressmen?"

In an email to supporters on Wednesday, Robinson said:

It has come to light today that a notorious Muslim extremist organisation is the driving force behind Keir Starmer banning our overseas guests from the 'Unite The Kingdom' event on Saturday.

'5 Pillars' is an infamous organisation of extremist Muslims, and it is '5 Pillars' that has revealed that they were behind the wave of bans that has prohibited our overseas guest speakers from attending.

Keir Starmer is literally in league with Islamists who hate Britain.

You couldn’t make it up, but what else do we expect from treacherous communists like Starmer.

This is one of the tweets confirming the involvement of '5 Pillars' that has come to light today:

Tommy, we have absolutely decimated your speakers list for your march on Saturday.

Please be aware that Muslims got this done, especially @5Pillarsuk which got the bandwagon rolling.

It was my pleasure.
— Roshan M Salih (@RmSalih) May 12, 2026

This goes equally well for all state employees in all fifty states. Nebraska in case anyone needs a reminder, is a red state. Now, about those roughly 2.4 million civilian federal employees...imagine the fraud, waste and abuse at that level? The people claiming to own everything need to be put in their place and contracted to manage systems for the public good, with standard job oversight, and they need to be fired when they abuse their job description. Corporate and intergenerational wealth has taken on obscene proportions.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley released a report Friday that details the misuse of a government vehicle by the program manager of the state’s Commercial Dog and Cat Inspection Program.

The program is administered by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture. The program manager’s responsibilities include inspection of animal control facilities, pet shops, boarding kennels, commercial dog and cat breeders and other related animal facilities.

The manager is also responsible for border checks, which involve patrolling roads and highways near bordering states. According to Foley, the manager was assigned a state-owned 2017 Ford F-150 truck for the purposes of conducting his responsibilities.

Using data from a GPS system inside the truck, Foley’s audit report shows that of the 101 workdays when the state vehicle was used over a 13-month period — July 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025 — 47 road trips were made while improperly using the vehicle.

Total mileage, both legitimate and improper, were 15,552 over the 13 months reviewed.

For reasons not known to the audit team, another 39 days were identified when the vehicle was simply turned on and off but did not change location.

Of the 47 road trips with some alleged improper usage, timesheets completed by the program manager noted the vehicle in use for approximately 150 hours. However, the GPS data shows the vehicle in use for 100 additional hours, Foley’s office said.

Reported instances of misuse include using it to travel to restaurants, stores, hotels and a liquor store, the report shows.

Because the program manager did not have a state procurement card, the auditors obtained his personal bank records and correlated debit card purchases to GPS-confirmed locations of the vehicle.

The United States of Lockheed Martin

Editor's note: How much more of this obscenity are the American people are going to tolerate? ________

Lockheed's new Pentagon deal makes a bad bargain worse

A new contracting arrangement shifts even more risk from the weapons manufacturer to the American taxpayer

By Joseph Solis-Mullen | May 12, 2026

In a recent earnings call Lockheed Martin described what may prove to be a highly consequential shift in Pentagon contracting.

CEO Jim Taiclet outlined a new "commercial-like" arrangement with the Department of Defense under which Lockheed would receive compensation even if the government altered procurement plans or reduced anticipated production quantities. Presented as a mechanism for stabilizing supply chains and accelerating weapons production, the arrangement effectively transfers additional market risk from the weapons maker to the taxpayer.

In practice, the new model appears to guarantee that Lockheed can expand production capacity with reduced exposure to the kinds of commercial uncertainties that normally discipline private firms. At a moment when Washington is once again invoking great-power competition to justify extraordinary military expenditures, the arrangement deserves scrutiny.

Far from a simple contracting innovation, the new approach represents another step in the long evolution of America’s military-industrial system towards an ever more corporatist order in which profits remain private while risks fall on the public.

Since World War II, Pentagon procurement has operated through a variety of contract structures designed to balance speed, innovation, and cost control. During wartime mobilization, "cost-plus" contracts became commonplace because they allowed rapid industrial expansion without requiring firms to shoulder uncertain financial risks. Under a cost-plus arrangement, contractors are reimbursed for expenses and then paid an additional fee or profit margin. The logic was straightforward: if the government needed ships, aircraft, or missiles quickly, firms had to be assured they would not be ruined by unforeseen production costs.

In practice, however, the model institutionalizes perverse incentives by allowing firms to profit from rising costs rather than containing them. Cost overruns, schedule delays, and expanding program scope become part of the business model itself. Indeed, a 2005 Government Accountability Office report found that the Pentagon had paid contractors an estimated $8 billion in award and incentive fees "regardless of acquisition outcomes," despite chronic performance failures across major acquisition programs. (A limited audit conducted in 2024-25 suggests the problem very much persists.)

In the decades after 1945, procurement reforms periodically attempted to reintroduce market discipline through fixed-price contracts, competitive bidding, and tighter oversight. Even so, the defense sector remained structurally insulated from many normal commercial pressures because its primary customer was, and remains, the federal government itself.

The arrangement now described by Lockheed appears to move a step further. Rather than merely reimbursing firms for production costs, the Pentagon is effectively offering guarantees against changes in future procurement decisions. In other words, if Lockheed expands manufacturing capacity or restructures supply chains in anticipation of large orders, the government may compensate the company if those plans later change.

As Taiclet put it in the earnings call: "If, for whatever reason, the government decides the production rate won't be as high in year five, six, or whatever, or there is a change in Congress that changes how this agreement can be appropriated, then there are reach-back or clawback mechanisms to make the company whole."

A dome should be constructed over Washington DC and the Pentagon then seal the place off from the rest of the world:

May 14, 2026 | AD News Network

"If you think this world is bad, you should see some of the others." - Philip K. Dick

Long before terms like artificial intelligence, Internet of Bodies, neural networks, transhumanism, and bio digital convergence entered mainstream discussion, science fiction writer Philip K. Dick was already exploring worlds where human beings struggled to distinguish authentic reality from technologically engineered systems designed to monitor, shape, and redefine human existence itself. His novels envisioned societies dominated by invisible architectures of surveillance, synthetic identities, corporate power, artificial consciousness, and manipulated perception long before modern digital infrastructure made such concepts feel technologically plausible. Today, as AI systems, biometric networks, wearable computation, cloud based infrastructure, and bioelectronic technologies increasingly merge with everyday life, many of Dick's once speculative themes no longer read like distant fiction, but like an unsettling philosophical framework for understanding the direction of emerging technological civilization.

The growing discussion surrounding MAC (Media Access Control) addresses, the Internet of Bodies (IoB), artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and the technological singularity reflects a larger shift that is quietly reshaping the relationship between human beings and digital systems. Much of the public discourse remains fragmented and little understood because these technologies are often discussed separately, even though many of them are advancing along parallel tracks. What is emerging is not a single invention or isolated breakthrough, but an interconnected technological ecosystem that increasingly links biology, computation, networking, and machine intelligence.

At the center of this discussion is the concept of the MAC address. In conventional networking, a MAC address is a hardware identifier assigned to a communication interface such as a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth chip. Its purpose is simple. A MAC address is typically written as a series of hexadecimal characters, such as: 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E. It allows devices inside a network to identify and communicate with one another. The broader significance of the concept appears when researchers and futurists (the techno elite) begin discussing the possibility of biological systems themselves becoming integrated into digital networks. In that context, the MAC address becomes less important as a literal networking label and more important as a symbol of node identification within an increasingly connected technological environment.

This is where the IoB enters the picture. Unlike many speculative online narratives, IoB is a legitimate and expanding technological field involving wearable sensors, implantable medical devices, biometric monitoring systems, neural interfaces, smart prosthetics, and physiological data collection tied into cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence systems. Human biological activity is increasingly converted into measurable digital information that can be analyzed in real time. In practical terms, the body itself is gradually becoming part of the network.

Most people already participate in early forms of IoB without necessarily recognizing it. Smart watches monitor heart rhythms, sleep cycles, oxygen levels, and movement patterns. Medical implants can transmit health data remotely. Smartphones continuously collect biometric and behavioral information through cameras, accelerometers, microphones, and location systems. Newer research pushes even further into bioelectronic integration through injectable biosensors, nanoscale telemetry systems, graphene interfaces, neural implants, and ultrasound responsive particles designed to interact with tissue at microscopic levels.

This technological trajectory overlaps directly with the philosophy of transhumanism. Transhumanism is built around the idea that science and technology can be used not only to treat disease (the soft sell) or improve convenience, but eventually to enhance or redesign human biological capabilities themselves. In transhumanist theory (see Geoengineered Transhumanism: How the Environment Has Been Weaponized By Chemicals, Electromagnetics, and Nanotechnology For Synthetic Biology), the boundary between biology and machine systems becomes increasingly blurred. Human cognition, physiology, and identity gradually integrate with computational infrastructure, artificial intelligence systems, and networked digital environments.

The relationship between IoB and transhumanism is therefore not abstract. IoB provides the infrastructure layer that makes deeper biological integration with machines possible. Continuous biometric monitoring, machine readable physiological data, neural interfaces, wearable computation, and AI assisted biological analysis all move society toward forms of human machine convergence that earlier generations would have considered science fiction. What was once external technology increasingly moves inward toward the body, nervous system, and eventually cognition itself.

This convergence also intersects with the broader idea of the technological singularity. Singularity theory proposes that computational systems and artificial intelligence may eventually advance beyond ordinary human scale comprehension and begin reshaping civilization at accelerating speed. While the popular imagination often associates singularity with autonomous robots or runaway AI systems, many futurists argue that the process will involve human integration into intelligent digital infrastructure as much as machine independence from humanity.

Under this framework, biological systems become increasingly interoperable with computational systems. Human beings are not simply users of technology anymore. They become active participants inside continuously networked environments where data flows between bodies, sensors, algorithms, cloud systems, and artificial intelligence models in real time. The importance of concepts like identification protocols, telemetry, behavioral prediction, biometric authentication, and biological monitoring grows significantly in such systems because every network requires ways to identify, monitor, and manage connected nodes.

This is one reason discussions involving MAC addresses, IoB, and singularity often overlap online even when the technical language becomes confused or exaggerated. Researchers studying nanoparticles, biosensors, or bioelectronic signaling may use communication metaphors borrowed from computing and networking. Terms like signaling, addressing, interfacing, and communication are increasingly applied both to machines and biological systems. In some cases, this has led to interpretations that biological activity itself may eventually resemble digital networking architectures.

Current scientific research does show rapid advancement in fields involving programmable nanoparticles, externally activated biological systems, neural engineering, and machine mediated biological interaction. Some experimental technologies can respond to ultrasound, magnetic fields, heat, or light. Others are designed to interact directly with nerves, organs, or cellular environments. Military research agencies, biotechnology firms, AI companies, and major universities are investing heavily in these areas because of their medical, industrial, and strategic potential.

The acceleration of these technologies around and after 2020 intensified public attention because several large scale systems advanced simultaneously. Artificial intelligence systems expanded rapidly. Cloud based infrastructure became central to daily life. Biometric tracking increased globally. mRNA injection platforms entered public consciousness at unprecedented scale during the COVID assault on civilization. Digital identity systems, predictive analytics, and real time health monitoring became normalized much faster than many people expected. For some observers, these developments appeared less like isolated innovations and more like components of a larger technological transformation already underway. This perception was reinforced by the reality that major technology firms, defense contractors, data analytics companies, and influential futurist institutions often operate on strategic timelines measured in decades rather than election cycles, investing enormous resources into long term AI development, human machine integration, predictive behavioral systems, and planetary scale data infrastructure long before the public fully recognizes the direction these systems are moving.

What remains striking is how little public understanding exists regarding the long term implications of this convergence. Most people encounter these technologies through convenience products, medical tools, wearable devices, or isolated scientific headlines without recognizing how interconnected the underlying systems have become. The deeper transformation is not merely technological. It involves the gradual merging of biological life, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and continuous data systems into a unified environment where the human body itself increasingly functions as part of the network. Much of this evolution is driven by the reality that data has become one of the most valuable commodities in modern civilization. Biological information, behavioral patterns, biometric signatures, movement data, health metrics, and cognitive profiling now carry enormous economic, political, military, and strategic value for governments, corporations, and AI driven systems seeking ever larger streams of real time human data.

Whether this evolution ultimately becomes liberating, commercialized, medically transformative, socially destabilizing, or deeply integrated into future models of governance remains uncertain. What is increasingly visible, however, is the growing fusion between state institutions, private technology corporations, artificial intelligence infrastructure, biometric systems, and large scale data analysis platforms. Companies such as Palantir Technologies illustrate how deeply private technological systems are becoming embedded within government operations, intelligence analysis, defense infrastructure, predictive modeling, and population scale data management. In that environment, the convergence of IoB, AI, bioelectronics, transhumanism, and singularity related thinking is no longer confined to speculative fiction, but is steadily emerging as one of the defining technological and philosophical developments of the twenty first century.

The convergence of artificial intelligence, bioelectronics, networked systems, and human integrated technology has advanced to a stage where its trajectory is increasingly embedded within global infrastructure, making meaningful public understanding and oversight more realistic goals than the expectation that development itself can simply be halted.

________

And then there is the Genesis Mission:

Genesis Mission: The Manhattan Project for AI. Tensions between internationalist institutions, traditional Catholic influence, and a rising movement of militant evangelical nationalism that views the Pentagon, government, and American identity through a more openly civilizational and religious lens are growing. This tension reflects a deeper battle over ideology, loyalty, and the future direction of American power. When political leaders or military figures use language suggesting opponents "deserve no mercy" under divine authority, it can resemble the irrationality seen in many forms of religious extremism throughout history, including radicalized interpretations of Christianity and Islam: the belief that violence is morally purified or justified because it serves a sacred cause. Right, after 2,000 years you would think the Abrahamic religions would upgrade their eschatology.

Drawing from themes connected to the simulation theory, Jorjani speculates that the relentless accumulation of data and machine processing power could eventually create a kind of "informational singularity, metaphorically comparable to a black hole, where meaning, autonomy, and even human perception are absorbed into an opaque computational system beyond democratic control or human comprehension." While the concept remains philosophical rather than scientific, the warning reflects growing real world concerns surrounding the enormous energy demands of hyperscale data centers, the centralization of information within governments and corporations, the militarization of AI, and the increasingly irreversible global race to dominate artificial intelligence development despite mounting fears over surveillance, loss of human agency, systemic instability, and the inability of political institutions to slow technological escalation once massive economic and geopolitical incentives are in motion. Critics of artificial intelligence with good reason warn that despite acknowledged risks, the geopolitical and economic race for technological dominance has created a system of technological inevitability in which governments and corporations who are philosophically bankrupt continue escalating AI development regardless of long term consequences.

________

Why does America need so many AI data centers? U.S. building more than 5,200 data centers compared to only 1,818 in China

The answer is hiding in plain sight but nobody is looking or asking the right questions.

By Leo Hohmann | May 8, 2026

The cost of gasoline just jumped overnight from $3.89 a gallon to $4.28 a gallon in my state of residence (Georgia) and everyone among the ignorant masses is wondering why. Gas prices in Georgia were sitting at around $2.25 a gallon before the Iran war started on Feb. 28, so that's a near doubling of the cost of travel in just a six-week timeframe.

When you tell them that it's Trump's war against Iran driving gas prices up, people look shocked. I thought that war was over and Trump said we won, some will say.

No, I explain, we still have dueling blockades of the Strait of Hormuz by both Trump and the Iranians, preventing critical petroleum products from getting to market.

And by the way, if you think gas approaching $4.50 and $5 a gallon is painful, wait till farmers are forced to massively scale back the amount of crops they can grow because a significant amount of the world's fertilizer is also being prevented from passing through the war-related blockades.

If you ask the typical Georgian why this extremely costly war was launched in the first place, many will parrot Trumpian talking points about having to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Some might also repeat the dubious claim that we had to get revenge on a regime that's been "killing Americans for 47 years."

I have discussed the real reasons this war was launched in multiple articles, and tops among them is an effort, a very risky effort, to cut China off from the vital oil and gas resources it relies on from the Middle East. Roughly 54 percent of China’s energy resources come from the Middle East.

And with President Trump's big summit with Chinese leader Xi Xinping approaching on May 14, I felt it was timely to remind my readers of one of my most important articles, first published on Feb. 9, three weeks before the war started on Feb. 28. To understand this war, you must understand that it has every bit as much to do with China as it does Iran. Washington's neocon globalist elites knew very well that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz the minute the U.S. and Israel launched their unprovoked attack on the Islamic Republic. But that was part of the plan. They wanted to choke off oil supplies and create a global energy crisis that they believe will hurt China more than America. So every time you feel the pain of filling up your vehicle's gas tank, just remember that your elected leaders in Washington care more about punishing a foreign adversary than they do about Americans' ability to afford to drive and move about freely in their own country.

So please read the Feb. 9 article here and reread it if you don't remember the details.

Because this war really is all about locking up as much of the world's energy resources as possible. The only piece of the puzzle missing from my earlier article is the AI component and how the data-center building boom ties in with Trump's wars. People wonder why the U.S. is building so many data centers, way more than even China has built and China is widely recognized as the leader in the application of AI technology.

The U.S. clearly has something very big planned that would require so many data centers, more than 5,200 across the 50 states if you include all those that are up and running, plus those under construction. Even more are in the planning stages but not yet approved.

China, the country with the second-most data centers in the world, only has 1,818. Russia has only 181 data centers. The U.K. and Germany each have about 500 data centers. France has 321 and Japan has 222. These numbers are current as of late 2025/early 2026.

Why does the U.S. need 5,200 data centers when China, the acknowledged global master of AI, only needs 1,818 and other industrialized nations have only a small fraction of that?

Even AI experts have voiced their bewilderment as to what could possibly require so much data-gathering and data-processing in the U.S.

I believe I have the answer.

Please go to substack to continue reading.

________

More on this subject:

Are we moving towards entropy?

Tens of thousands of employees, private subcontractors (many who are former IRS employees), compliance firms, consultants, and technology vendors all draw salaries and long term benefits from a system financed by taxpayers, creating powerful incentives to preserve bureaucratic complexity rather than reforming the IRS or demolishing it all together and replacing it with a more equitable and alternative tax system. Every layer of bureaucratic administration generates its own economic and financial constituency (the IRS's discretionary operating budget of about $12.3 billion for fiscal year 2024), making large scale reform almost impossible because entire careers, pension systems, benefits and government aligned industries are financially dependent on the IRS's bureaucratic structure. Then there is also the issue of the IRS employees (90,516 full-time employees) coming under the National Treasury Employees Union and the broader network of federal employees tied to the agency who have a direct institutional interest in protecting jobs, benefits, perks, insurance, staffing levels, and the long term expansion of the existing tax bureaucracy.

(The Epoch Times)—Tax noncompliance among federal employees and retirees has increased over recent years, partly due to the suspension of certain collection programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a May 6 report from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

Data from the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) federal delinquency initiative (known as FERDI) shows that "the overall delinquent balance owed by federal employees and retirees increased by more than $1.5 billion (32 percent) between FY 2021 and FY 2024," TIGTA said.

"The federal and retiree workforce decreased by less than one percent from FY 2021 through FY 2024. However, there was a significant increase of 43 percent in the number of delinquent federal employees and retirees during the same period."

As of 2024, "there were more than 571,000 current federal and retired employees with an outstanding tax obligation owing approximately $6.3 billion."

According to the IRS Collection management, the annual increase in taxes owed by current federal employees and retirees was due to temporary pauses in three initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery years—collection notice issuance, levy programs, and the Automated Substitute for Return program, which is an enforcement tool to deal with nonfilers.

In August 2024, the IRS started a phased resumption of levy programs, with the agency anticipating that delinquency rates will decline over the upcoming years, the report said.

To address noncompliance among current federal employees and retirees, IRS Collection created Notice LT36 in May 2025. The letter encourages such people to voluntarily pay off their tax dues. By July 14, 2025, around 427,000 of these letters were sent by the IRS.

As of August 2025, around 59,000 LT36 recipients had made a payment, with 4,700 taxpayers paying off their outstanding balances in full. In total, the IRS collected $58 million following the issuance of these notices.

In the report, TIGTA cited a letter sent by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to the Acting IRS Commissioner last year, which expressed concerns about high delinquency rates among current federal employees and retirees.

"All federal employees have a heightened responsibility to follow the laws and rules and pay their taxes," Grassley said in the April 2, 2025.

"Taxpayers deserve to be assured that federal employees, whose salaries and benefits are funded through taxpayer dollars, are held to account by the IRS for failing to pay their tax obligations, just like the rest of Americans are held to account."

Grassley cited the 2023 FERDI report and highlighted that, as of May 2023, 4 percent of IRS employees had not fully paid their tax balances.

IRS Employee Non-Compliance

In 2024, TIGTA published a report detailing its auditors' assessment of IRS employees. According to the report, out of the 85,359 employees at the IRS, 3,414 had unpaid taxes of around $21 million.

In addition, among IRS contractors, many of whom are former agency employees, 10 percent had outstanding taxes of roughly $25 million.

The problem there is no leadership. Polls and online reactions following last week's debate showed strong support for Pratt. Democrats and fellow Marxist travelers are "nervous" as incumbent Mayor Karen Bass faces growing pressure in an increasingly unpredictable race.

The Pacific Palisades fire ignited on January 7, 2025, in the very last days of the "Joe Biden" fake presidency. 6,837 total buildings destroyed plus about 1,000 damaged. The Altadena fire across town in Eaton Canyon was arguably worse: 9,418 buildings destroyed. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was in Ghana at the time to attend the inauguration of president John Dramani Mahama, part of a small U.S. presidential delegation sent by the "Biden" administration.

Deputy Mayor for Public Safety, Brian Williams, overseer of the Police and Fire Departments, was on administrative leave at the time due to an alleged bomb threat against City Hall that he reportedly made in September / October 2024. The FBI raided his house that December, and in 2025 he copped a plea deal (guilty) to making threats involving fire and explosives. So, he was out of action during the fires.

There you have the rectified essence of how the Democratic Party operates in America's biggest state. Is it not astonishing that Karen Bass is running for reelection? How could she possibly be forgiven? A large number of people employed in the movie business got burned out of their homes in the fires, and then city and state regulatory nonsense prevented them from rebuilding — on top of insurance company hocus-pocus that left families financially wrecked. Is it a surprise that the city’s flagship industry is dying now (film production down 32-percent on a five-year average)? What is LA without Hollywood?

And yet the show-biz celebs are still coming out to pimp for Democratic Party politicians. This is the kind of thing that forces you to conclude that an epic madness burns as hotly through the minds of Californians as the fires that ripped through the canyons in 2025. I know from personal experience as a college theater major that actors can be exceptionally stupid, but that can’t wholly account for what we’re seeing.

Wednesday’s primary debates had these villains on florid display. Because LA's ranked-choice mayoral primary race styles itself "non-partisan," candidate Spencer Pratt (a registered Republican) was on-hand for the debate. When the subject of LA's cataclysmic homelessness came up, drug addicts living (if you can call it that) in wretched, filthy encampments all over the public space of the city, Mayor Bass bragged that she'd significantly reduced the problem, which is obviously and mendaciously untrue. LA City Council member Nithya Raman, who labels herself "progressive," bragged on putting the homeless into shelters (i.e., motel rooms at $100-K per person per year.)

Spencer Pratt attempted to inject a little reality into the discussion about putting the homeless into homes:

"No matter how many beds you give these people, they are on super meth, they are on fentanyl. The DEA [Drug Enforcement Agency] statistic says 93-percent of this is a drug addiction problem. These people do not want a bed — they want fentanyl or super meth.”

Pratt is currently running third in the polls. In ranked-choice voting, the top two winners in the primary will face off in the November election. Currently Bass is polling in the lead and Nithya Raman is running second. If the numbers stay that way, the winner in November could finish Los Angeles off. Blade Runner, here we come.

But there’s still a chance that Spencer Pratt might place well in the June 2 primary just as Golden Tempo shot from dead last to win the Kentucky Derby last week. The seductions of the Marxist race hustle have worn a little thin, even for Angelenos. Karen Bass looks increasingly ridiculous grinning about her abject failures, which Mr. Pratt lays out relentlessly in plain talk. His reality-testing seems to be getting some minds right, gaining real traction. Nithya Raman has the charisma of a mung bean.

Critics argue the initiative is another costly government giveaway at a time when California is struggling with budget deficits, homelessness, and rising living costs. Opponents have also questioned the program's reported multimillion-dollar price tag and accused the administration of prioritizing political optics over more urgent statewide issues:

Korea University's Vaccine Innovation Center (VIC-K) and US biotech firm Moderna (formerly ModeRNA Therapeutics), made world-famous by its multibillion-dollar Covid-19 vaccine profits, have been jointly developing an mRNA-based hantavirus vaccine since signing a research and development agreement in September 2023, with the candidate now awaiting funding to begin human clinical trials.

The deal was struck under Moderna's mRNA Access initiative, a programme that supplies preclinical mRNA vaccine candidates to academic teams working on emerging or neglected infectious diseases. The two sides had begun exploring possible collaboration as early as 2021.

A research team led by Professor Park Man-sung of Korea University College of Medicine's microbiology department confirmed in February 2025 that experimental doses prevented hantavirus infection in mice, according to Seoul Economic Daily.

Under the agreement, VIC-K provided Moderna with hantavirus antigen sequence information and Moderna in turn supplied the corresponding mRNA material, which the centre then used in antigen expression studies. The Korean partner had hosted an mRNA Access Partnership Seminar with Moderna on July 4, 2024 to set out the joint roadmap.

Hantavirus causes Haemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome, marked by high fever, bleeding and kidney damage. Korea records 300 to 400 cases a year, mostly among young men in their twenties and thirties on military service, and the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency has placed the pathogen on its list of nine priority threats for future pandemic preparedness.

The World Health Organization has classified hantavirus as a possible "Disease X" pathogen. An older Korean inactivated vaccine, Hantavax, has been available since 1990 but offers limited long-term protection and does not cover hantavirus pulmonary syndrome strains found in the West.

The document mixes blunt geopolitical claims with abstract, evasive language in a way that allows multiple audiences, governments, engineers, and critics, to interpret it differently. This intentional vagueness helps Palantir build broad coalitions, avoid accountability, and shield its real-world influence over defense and intelligence systems from precise scrutiny. Karp's philosophical background, appearing as intellectual abstraction is actually a strategic communication method suited to a "defense" (offense) contractor whose software is used in military and surveillance contexts. This "fog" enables Palantir to shape political and security debates while remaining difficult to pin down on specific commitments or consequences.
________

The Fog Machine at Palantir

By Christopher Hell | April 29, 2026

US defence contractor Palantir recently published a 22-point list which was drawn from a book co-authored by CEO Alex Karp and Head of Corporate Affairs Nicholas Zamiska. Reactions have ranged from "technofascism, pure" (Cas Mudde, one of the world's leading scholars of the European far right) to "if evil could tweet, this is what it would tweet" (Yanis Varoufakis, the former Greek finance minister). A columnist on RT, the Russian state broadcaster, simply labelled the points "Mein AI".

The reactions are loud, but the document itself is curiously quiet. These 22 numbered items, each orbiting a sentiment without quite committing to a position, are written in a voice that aspires to gravitas and arrives at grievance. They share a mood, not policy.

What was Alex Karp really hoping to convey? Point 10, for example, reads, "The psychologization of modern politics is leading us astray".

The numbered list of theses is normally the form that forces intellectuals into clarity. Luther nailed 95 of them to a church door. The US Declaration of Independence is a four-minute read. Marx and Engels wrote a pamphlet you could finish on a tram ride. Each item in such a list is meant to be acceptable or rejectable on its own terms.

Karp is writing in the lineage of The HP Way and Google's past motto 'Don't Be Evil' rather than in Luther's style, and corporate manifestos rarely manage that kind of clarity. But even by the forgiving standards of the form, his 22 points are unusually evasive. They function more like a sermon than a list. And once that is noticed, the question changes.

It is no longer: "What is Karp saying?"

It is: "Why is he saying it this way?"

The Philosopher in the Valley

The formative intellectual experience of Alex Karp was neither technical nor American. His undergraduate degree, from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, was in philosophy. His law degree is from Stanford University, where he met Peter Thiel, the contrarian billionaire investor, with whom Karp and others would later co-found Palantir. After that, Karp spent roughly a decade in Frankfurt, earning a doctorate in what he calls neoclassical social theory.

As Moira Weigel showed in her 2020 essay on Karp's intellectual formation, his 2002 dissertation, 'Aggression in der Lebenswelt', written in German, extends the Frankfurt School's critique of 'jargon' — a particular kind of public speech that formally affirms a society's official norms while smuggling through the forbidden wishes those norms exist to suppress, serving as a coded beacon for like-minded persons searching for a community.

Karp wrote his doctorate on the very rhetorical device he now deploys as CEO of a defence contractor worth over $330 billion.

Point 4 says, "Hard power in this century will be built on software".

Karp is the philosopher at Palantir, not the technologist. From the very founding, his role has been to function as the company's cultural and commercial face, winning over governments, recruiting engineers who might otherwise choose not to build machines of destruction, and articulating how all of this is morally grounded work. The 22 points are not the bullet points of an American chief executive. They read as the prose of a German social theorist who has read Adorno's The Jargon of Authenticity and decided to use the technique rather than expose it.

Karp is not failing to be clear. He is succeeding at something else. The reader is not supposed to parse the argument, but to feel its mood.

What the Fog Accomplishes

Not every point is evasive. Point 21's claim that "some cultures have produced vital advances; others remain dysfunctional and regressive" leaves little room for misreading, and the call to rearm Germany and Japan is unambiguous. The strategy works through the combination: blunt provocations draw the eye, while operationally consequential claims hide in the fog. Here is what that fog accomplishes.

Plausible Deniability. Point 5 says, "The question is not whether A.I. weapons will be built; it is who will build them and for what purpose." A clear version of this point would have to say that Palantir believes the US and Israel are justified in striking Iran's nuclear programme, in targeting Iran's political and military leadership, and in striking civilian infrastructure. It would also have to say that Palantir's software is widely reported to have contributed materially to those operations. But stating this plainly would expose Palantir to legal, diplomatic, and reputational consequences in jurisdictions where wars of aggression are considered illegal. [Editor's note: Nuclear weapons were the biggest financial fraud of the 20th century.]

Karp and Palantir can nod at the position without owning it. If asked later, he can say he was just speaking abstractly. The same mechanism operates at Point 7, on better software for soldiers; at Point 17, on Silicon Valley addressing violent crime; and at Point 15, on rearming Germany and Japan. Each is adjacent to a specific operational commitment that the document never openly embraces.

Operational Plan for Germany

May 8, 2026 | Bundeswehr

A core military element of overall defence

The security situation in Europe has changed fundamentally. Russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine in violation of international law on 24 February 2022 has brought war to Europe once again. Today's Russia is considered the greatest threat to peace and security in Europe. In response to this profound change in the security environment, the German government's 2023 National Security Strategy defined the objective of a policy of Integrated Security as a whole-of-society task: "the collaborative interaction of all relevant actors, resources and instruments that, in combination, can comprehensively guarantee the security of our country and strengthen it against external threats".

The Operational Plan for Germany is an essential military component of Germany's overall defence. It combines key military elements of national and collective defence with the necessary civilian support services. Lead responsibility for the Operational Plan for Germany lies with the Bundeswehr Joint Force Command.

Bundeswehr/Carolin Sauder

The document comprises over 1,000 pages, and the details are classified. Multiple ministries were involved in preparing it, and it is updated regularly. The first version was issued in early 2024, and the second is expected to be ready by mid-2026. Lead responsibility in the Bundeswehr lies with the Bundeswehr Joint Force Command in Berlin and Schwielowsee, in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the federal states.

Key element: civil-military cooperation

A core element of the Operational Plan for Germany is bringing together the key military elements of national and collective defence with the necessary civilian support services for mutual whole-of-government support at various levels of escalation – in peacetime, hybrid threat situations, crisis and war. This involves military support for civilian preparedness for war on the one hand and, on the other hand, civilian contributions to military defence planning. The plan includes processes and responsibilities, e.g. for the Bundeswehr's cooperation with civilian or government entities in an emergency. The Operational Plan for Germany does not cover other aspects of civilian preparedness that are outside the Bundeswehr's area of responsibility, such as providing basic services to the population.

Germany's commitment to the Alliance, arising from its geostrategic location as a hub for NATO in the middle of Europe, plays a key role in the OPLAN DEU. In an emergency, up to 800,000 allied troops and 200,000 vehicles must be able to pass through Germany within six months and receive host nation support. This support ranges from protection and security, traffic management, transport and transloading by road, rail, seaport and airport, accommodation and messing, refuelling and maintenance, to medical care and legal advice. This support can only be ensured – at short notice and for a long period of time – using services from civilian commercial partners.

Working together to ensure credible deterrence

Germany's role as a hub is therefore a whole-of-society task that will also entail inconveniences for the population but is essential to the security of Germany and its partners. After all, RSOI and supply of allied and German forces lay the foundation for having the right forces in the right place at the right time with full operational capability – for credible deterrence and effective defence within the Alliance.

European (western) civilization came out of ancient Greece whereas we see Jewish scribes heisting ancient Greek (and Persian scriptures) and fraudulently translating biblical stories into Hebrew. It is a travesty that many Americans think their civilization, what's left of it, came out of Israel and this is made worse by these radical Christians who are enslaving Americans to the curse of the Levant. Are we honestly supposed to believe America is the by-product of a semitic people? Apparently, the Israelis think it is requiring a $730 million advertising budget to convince you.
Trump Accounts is actually a government-backed child investment savings program, that has drawn political criticism from the likes of people like Gözükara because of its association with Donald Trump and the scale of Michael Dell's $6.25 billion donation. There is currently no verified evidence that the donation was illegal, corrupt, or part of any formal scandal or corruption involved. The contribution has been presented publicly as a "philanthropic effort to expand long-term savings opportunities for children through federally authorized investment accounts." Under the Trump Accounts program, eligible children receive a federally funded $1,000 investment account at birth, intended to grow over time through stock-market index fund investments for future education, housing, or other long-term needs.

In a 2024 interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Fine said he affiliates with a local Chabad center and that a Chabad rabbi officiated his mother's funeral, indicating an ongoing religious and communal relationship. While no credible evidence shows that Randy Fine holds any official role within Chabad Lubavitch or its leadership structure, regular affiliation with a religious community can reasonably be viewed as influence on a politician's personal worldview (Abrahamic eschatology) and perspectives. Maybe the following will help alleviate a lot of the confusion and understanding of Chabad Lubavitch and how they forged their history, or grafted it onto their own:

"Western tradition holds Abraham as the origin and Jews as stewards of the Old Testament Scriptures, but this is the opposite: Jewish scribes stole the history and scriptures from the Persians. Zoroaster, from Arran (linked to biblical Harran), was a contemporary of Abraham around 1900 BC according to Ganga Prasad and ancient Mohammedan scholars, with Persian sources identifying Zardushta as the scriptural Abraham. Xanthos of Lydia dated Zoroaster's ministry 600 years before the Trojan War, aligning with Abraham's era. The Persian Gathas, the oldest and holiest untouched scriptures in the Zend Avesta, predate the Old Testament; Abraham lived among Philistine cities including Gath, possibly preserving a memory of the Gathas. Avestan is linguistically closest to Vedic Sanskrit, and in India, Abraham's name becomes Brahma while his wife Sarah corresponds to Saraswati."
________

The Elephant in the Room is Chabad [Lubavitch]

In late January 2020, we were told by the media-driven scamdemic, a passenger from Hong Kong who had visited Wuhan boarded the ship in Japan (see The Wrong Virus). The vessel was quarantined off Yokohama starting February 3–5, 2020, after the passenger "tested positive." Over the following weeks, more than 700 of the 3,700 passengers and crew "tested positive", providing early "real-world data on SARS-CoV-2 transmission", if you believe the standard virus theory, including high rates of asymptomatic infections. The incident highlighted the risks of confined environments and influenced global quarantine policies. And now we have the the Dutch-flagged MV Hondius cruise ship with a "cluster of hantavirus cases emerging" sparking "international attention." As of early May 2026, we are being told by the media again, "at least eight passengers fell ill with severe respiratory symptoms after departing Argentina, resulting in three deaths and several confirmed infections via PCR testing (ah yes, the infamous PCR test we have come to know all too well).
________

Hantavirus is a fake, don't fall for it.

I am enjoying the sight of a robust and funny! public response to the feeble attempts of the pandemic cabal to ignite another round of fear and bullshit with the current "hantavirus" psyop. This article is a republish of important information discussing unconstitutional law that allows CDC to capture and imprison you (and kill you) without any due process or accountability on pretenses of "quarantine". I published these materials originally in 2024. Please re-acquaint yourself, especially if you are planning to travel this summer.

There is no "hantavirus". The illness exists, it is a poisoning with rat feces, usually in extremely blighted living conditions, with extremely poor hygiene, dirt floors and massive rat infestation. So, it is impossible on the modern small cruise ship.

Briefly, a digest of the current psyop headlines:

• Jaimie Andrews cultured "hantavirus" from sterile samples infected with nothing, demonstrating whatever CDC claims is, of course, baloney:

• The passenger on the ship died of natural causes. In this video the captain not concerned, nothing was going on on that ship:

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Wednesday denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's crimes in a closed-door interview with House lawmakers, but Democrats argue the Cabinet secretary is "covering up" for the Trump administration.

Lutnick sat for a voluntary transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, as part of the panel's growing investigation into Epstein. Since it was voluntary, Lutnick was not under oath and would not face legal jeopardy for any false statements. Other witnesses, including former Attorney General Pam Bondi, are expected to speak with the committee in the coming months under the same stipulations.

Democrats told reporters during a break in the questioning that Lutnick was "evasive" and "dishonest." A Democratic source familiar with the interview told NOTUS that Lutnick denied any wrongdoing, and said he did not have an extended relationship with Epstein. According to the source, Lutnick described his visit to Epstein island as "inexplicable and unsettling," but said he could not remember the details.

"He refused to say anything abnormal about Epstein's island, so someone obviously got to him from the administration," Rep. Ro Khanna, a California Democrat, told reporters on Wednesday.

Rep. James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, criticized Democrats for their characterization of the interview. Comer, who earlier Wednesday said Lutnick had not been “100% truthful” about his connections with Epstein, said during a break in the interview that Lutnick has “been very forthcoming with those interactions.”

"It's always about Trump. It's never about the victims. It's never about justice for the survivors," the Republican Comer said. "It's always about Donald Trump. It's always about the midterm elections."

Lutnick said in a podcast interview last year that he cut ties with Epstein in 2005. Lawmakers from both parties have called on the Cabinet secretary to resign after he admitted a long connection Epstein, who died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while facing federal sex-trafficking charges.

A lineup of high-profile Epstein associates, investigators and witnesses are scheduled to sit for transcribed interviews with the House Oversight Committee over the next two months, including Bondi, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and longtime Epstein executive assistant Lesley Groff.

The project's connections to major technology contractors, including Palantir Technologies, have fueled additional speculation about hyperscale data storage and secure communications capabilities being integrated beneath the ballroom ($400 million for a damn ballroom?). Think about this carefully: calling Palantir Technologies' contribution a "donation" to the White House ballroom may be technically correct because the money is given voluntarily, but when a significant share of the company's revenue comes from U.S. government contracts (Palantir raked in $2.5 billion in government contracts), this contribution can also be viewed as indirectly derived from taxpayer-funded income rather than purely private profit. Palantir (is Palantir accessing the extremely sensitive Social Security data base?) was identified as one of the donors connected to the White House ballroom project.

From this perspective, there are no extraterrestrials at all, only terrestrials, and the ongoing alien, or extraterrestrial narrative is viewed as deliberate misdirection designed to keep public attention away from unconventional energy research and hidden technological principles. If you go mucking around promoting "free energy" you will meet stiff resistance, or worse...those promoting the extraterrestrial narrative are seen not as revealing truth, but as encouraging endless speculation while quietly mocking the people who continue to push and believe the extraterrestrial bullshit narrative. The government (mostly privatized) is, in this view, laughing at humanity's obsession with UFOs, anti-gravity, and alien narratives because such distractions keep public attention away from the far more important subject of unconventional free-energy principles and geometries. Yeah right, prepping for "major unveiling."
U.S. government allegedly on the verge of making a world-changing announcement.

This week, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed President Trump has ordered the full declassification of UFO/UAP files and that the first trove of documents will be released in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, several prominent Christian leaders have come forward claiming they were privately briefed on upcoming alien revelations that could significantly challenge traditional biblical beliefs.

Alex Jones touched on the news during his Wednesday broadcast and told viewers what to expect next.
Pastor Perry Stone also revealed some of what he learned at the government meeting featuring several pastors.

He said the upcoming information release about aliens and unidentified spacecraft will include acknowledgement of “reptilian" creatures.

All the pastors were reportedly urged to prepare their congregations for the impending announcement and get ready to answer questions they’ll inevitably have.

While many compare the situation to the 2008 housing crash, today's crisis is fundamentally different. Most homeowners still hold fixed-rate mortgages and stricter lending standards remain in place, but affordability is collapsing under the weight of soaring ownership costs and economic strain. Rather than a sudden financial implosion driven by toxic mortgages, the US housing market is entering a slow-moving affordability crisis that is steadily eroding household stability, freezing mobility, and pushing more families toward financial distress. A fundamental question is why does a home cost a lifetime of debt?
________

America's Economy Is Boiling Families Alive One Bill at a Time

May 7, 2026 | AD News Network

Foreclosure filings across the United States have climbed to their highest level in six years, with ATTOM reporting a 26% year over year increase as rising property taxes (see Recent Activities in the Battle Against Fraudulent Property Valuations & Property Taxes), exploding insurance premiums, elevated interest rates, stagnant wages, and mounting consumer debt push millions of households toward financial exhaustion. Unlike the Global Financial Crisis, this is not primarily a collapse driven by toxic subprime mortgages or widespread adjustable-rate loan failures. Most homeowners today still hold relatively stable fixed-rate mortgages secured during the ultra-low-rate era after 2020. The crisis instead centers on affordability collapse surrounding the mortgage itself. Americans are being squeezed from every direction simultaneously through insurance costs, taxes, utilities, healthcare, childcare, maintenance, credit card debt, and declining purchasing power.

States like Florida and Texas have become warning signs for the broader economy as insurance markets destabilize under climate risk and speculative real estate inflation collides with rising ownership costs. Many homeowners who technically "own" affordable mortgages can no longer sustain the full monthly cost of remaining in their homes. Meanwhile, younger Americans face historically unaffordable housing markets, frozen inventory, a lifetime of paying rent and financing costs that lock them out of ownership entirely. Builders are constrained by higher financing costs, while existing homeowners refuse to sell because moving would require abandoning historically low mortgage rates. The result is a frozen housing market slowly deteriorating underneath the surface rather than collapsing all at once.

This is happening because the American economic model has increasingly concentrated wealth into financial assets while hollowing out household resilience. Decades of monetary expansion inflated housing, stocks, and debt faster than wages. Corporate consolidation reduced competition. Private equity entered housing markets. Local governments became dependent on rising property valuations for tax revenue. Insurance systems failed to adapt to climate realities. Healthcare and education costs outpaced incomes for years. The financial system continued rewarding leverage and speculation while productive economic growth weakened relative to asset inflation.

Responsibility is distributed across multiple institutions and decades of policy choices:

• Wall Street financialization of housing and debt

• Federal and state policy failures on housing supply

• Corporate concentration and price-setting power

• Insurance market instability

• Local tax dependence on inflated property values

• Persistent deficit spending combined with monetary expansion

• Regulatory capture across finance, healthcare, and real estate

• A political system heavily influenced by lobbying and asset holders

The Federal Reserve is central to this discussion because modern monetary policy heavily influences asset prices, credit creation, and wealth concentration. However, simply "nationalizing" the Federal Reserve would not automatically solve affordability or inequality. The deeper issue is how money enters the economy and who benefits first from new credit creation.

A workable long-term reform framework would likely require an entirely redesigned public financial architecture combining monetary reform, banking reform, housing reform, and anti-corruption enforcement.

Potential reforms include:

• Treasury-issued sovereign digital currency for direct public payments and infrastructure funding

• Public banking systems modeled after the Bank of North Dakota

• Postal banking for low-cost financial services

• Restrictions on speculative ownership of single-family housing

• National catastrophic insurance pools to stabilize climate-exposed regions

• Automatic foreclosure mediation and restructuring programs

• Large-scale housing construction incentives

• Community banks

• Stronger antitrust enforcement against corporate concentration

• Real-time transparency for large financial trades and political conflicts of interest

• Progressive land value taxation to discourage speculation

• Public campaign financing and lobbying restrictions

Some economists also support forms of sovereign money reform where the U.S. Treasury issues limited non-interest-bearing public currency directly into the economy for infrastructure, energy systems, housing, and productive investment rather than relying primarily on debt-based bank credit creation. Supporters argue this could reduce dependence on perpetual debt expansion and financial speculation. Critics warn that poorly managed sovereign issuance could destabilize inflation expectations, damage confidence in the dollar, and politicize monetary policy. Any transition would therefore require strict constitutional safeguards, independent oversight, issuance limits tied to productivity growth, and international coordination.

Americans are becoming increasingly angry because many people are working harder while falling further behind despite record asset wealth at the top of the economy. The stress is real. But the solutions require structural reform, institutional accountability, local organization, housing expansion, financial transparency, and rebuilding an economy that rewards productive activity more than debt extraction and speculative asset inflation.

________
On April 7, an estimated $960 million short position was placed hours before a temporary ceasefire announcement that caused oil prices to drop sharply. On April 17, a $760 million short bet was executed about 20 minutes before Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that the Strait of Hormuz would remain open to commercial traffic. On April 21, another $430 million short position was reportedly added 15 minutes before Trump extended the ceasefire. The trades coincided with increasingly aggressive U.S. actions in the region, including Trump openly describing the U.S. Navy as "acting like pirates" while enforcing a blockade around the Strait of Hormuz and seizing Iranian oil shipments, calling it "a very profitable business."
The Mad Man Theory has not failed; it has evolved, and the stage on which it operates is no longer the UN Security Council but the Bloomberg terminal in every trading room in the world.

The Madman Theory

There is a pattern that traders around the world have learned to recognize in recent years: a late-night statement from the U.S. president, Asian markets opening in the red, and energy commodities in turmoil even before dawn breaks in London. The epicenter is almost always the same: the Strait of Hormuz and the ongoing tension with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

These are not isolated incidents or impromptu reactions to real crises. They are—as we will analyze in this text—something structurally more sophisticated: the transformation of the geopolitical threat into an instrument of programmed financial volatility. A silent weapon, difficult to prove, impossible to sue over, but devastating in its redistributive effects on global capital.

To understand this mechanism, we must start from afar: from the birth of a strategic doctrine developed in the corridors of the U.S. State Department in the 1970s, the so-called Mad Man Theory.

The Madman Theory did not originate with Donald Trump. It originated with Henry Kissinger and Thomas Schelling, two of the most influential strategists of the Cold War. The underlying idea is simple in its brutality: to convince the enemy that the American leader is crazy enough to take irrational actions, including the use of nuclear weapons, to secure diplomatic or military concessions.

"The value of the madman doctrine lies in its unpredictability. If the adversary thinks you are capable of anything, he will be more cautious in provoking you,” wrote Thomas Schelling in *The Strategy of Conflict* (1960).

Richard Nixon attempted to apply it during the Vietnam War, trying to convince the Soviets—and through them, North Vietnam—that he was ready for nuclear escalation. The operation, known as Operation Duck Hook, was a resounding failure: no one really believed it, and those who did weren’t afraid enough to change their behavior.

The structural problem with the Madman Theory as applied by Nixon was twofold. On the one hand, the leader’s credibility: Nixon was seen by his adversaries as a pragmatic politician, not as a truly unpredictable figure. On the other, the American chain of command—with its institutional checks and balances—made it difficult for anyone to believe in unilateral escalation. The doctrine remained on paper.

Fifty years later, something has changed radically. And it’s not just about the president’s character.

Industrializing Madness

With Donald Trump—during his first presidency and even more evidently in his second—the Mad Man Theory undergoes a qualitative transformation. It is not simply applied: it is industrialized. It is no longer a tactic used occasionally in the grand diplomatic game: it becomes the operating system of presidential communication, with its routines, its cycles, and its calculable effects.

The difference from Nixon is substantial. Trump does not have to convince only foreign governments: he must convince—and he does so with extraordinary success—the global financial markets. And the markets, unlike governments, react in milliseconds. They have no time to assess the credibility of a threat: they react to the perception of risk, not its reality.

This is the core of the transformation: Trump has realized—or his advisors have made him realize—that the true power of the Madman Theory lies not in military deterrence, but in the ability to generate financial volatility on demand.

Analyzing the major crises with Iran from 2018 to the present reveals a recurring pattern with striking consistency:

PHASE 1 — Trigger: A post on Truth Social or X (formerly Twitter) during U.S. nighttime hours, often with apocalyptic tones. The keywords vary — ‘severe consequences', 'maximum pressure', 'total annihilation' — but the rhetorical structure is identical.

PHASE 2 — Declarative Escalation: In the following days, statements from administration officials amplifying the message. U.S. naval movements in the Persian Gulf. Sanctions announced or threatened.

PHASE 3 — Energy shock: Oil prices rise. Brent and WTI show significant spikes. Insurance markets for routes through the Strait of Hormuz raise premiums.

PHASE 4 — Market panic: Futures react. Stock markets show volatility. Capital shifts toward safe-haven assets: the dollar, gold, U.S. Treasuries.

PHASE 5 — Sudden Reversal: For no apparent reason, tensions ease. Trump tweets about "great progress," an Iranian official issues an ambiguous statement, or simply the presidential silence does its job. Markets recover.

This isn't chaos; it's a very clear pattern, and patterns in financial markets are worth billions.

To understand why Iran is the perfect scenario for this strategy, one must grasp the geopolitical importance of the Strait of Hormuz. This stretch of water, just 33 kilometers wide at its narrowest point, located between the Arabian Peninsula and Iranian territory, is the planet's most critical energy bottleneck. A massive portion of global oil production passes through it. Any disruption—whether real or merely perceived as possible—has immediate and global effects on energy prices. It is not necessary for oil tankers to be actually attacked: all it takes is for insurance markets to raise premiums, or for an American aircraft carrier to change course, to trigger a chain reaction.

The Strait of Hormuz is the switch that controls the global economy.

The causal chain is direct and brutally simple: perceived tension in the Strait → rising oil prices → rising energy costs for industries and consumers → inflationary pressure → reaction by central banks → impact on stock and bond markets. A single lever, pulled in the right place, sends ripples through the entire global economic system.

And that lever has a name: U.S. presidential rhetoric on Iran.

Volatility as a tool for wealth redistribution

Here we come to the most uncomfortable point, because volatility is not neutral; rather, it redistributes wealth—massively, rapidly, and—if you know when it's coming—extremely profitably. When oil prices experience sudden spikes due to perceived geopolitical tensions, certain categories of investors gain disproportionately: holders of long oil futures contracts, funds with positions in energy companies, those who bought put options on stock indices before the shock, and those holding gold and Treasuries as a hedge. Conversely, consumers and businesses dependent on imported energy, emerging economies with energy trade deficits, pension funds exposed to stock markets, and retail investors without access to hedging instruments lose out.

We are not saying—and it is important to be precise—that Trump or his entourage coordinated trading operations based on their public statements; this is a topic we will not address now, as it would constitute insider trading and requires specific attention. Instead, we are pointing to something more subtle and perhaps even more troubling: that the system is structured in such a way that those who can read the pattern—and the pattern, as we have seen, is repeatable and recognizable—can legally profit from it.

And this raises a question about the architecture of financial power that goes far beyond Trump’s individual policies.

There is a paradox at the heart of this story: the media outlets that oppose Trump most fiercely—those that call him 'unpredictable,' 'out of control,' 'dangerous'—are precisely the ones that amplify his strategy most effectively.

Every headline screaming 'Trump might actually attack Iran' or 'The unpredictable Trump spooks the markets' helps reinforce the perception of risk, and that perception of risk is exactly what the strategy needs to work. The majority of so-called "alternative media" is part of this narrative system, often without realizing it.

This does not mean the media should remain silent on presidential actions—obviously not—but it is a symptom that the global information system is caught in a structural trap: reporting on Trump’s threats amplifies volatility; ignoring them is journalistically and democratically unacceptable. There is no simple way out.

The solution, if it exists, lies in a shift in framing: not "Trump threatens Iran" but "here is the documented pattern of how presidential statements move the markets." Every financial manipulation strategy has an intrinsic limit, which is the market's capacity for resilience, and when the market learns, the mechanism loses its effectiveness. This is what is happening, at least in part, with Trump's Iran strategy.

Among traders and financial analysts, an acronym has emerged that encapsulates the market's growing skepticism: TACO, which stands for 'Trump Always Chickens Out'. Trump always backs down. After the pattern repeated itself a few times—threat, escalation, quiet retreat—the markets began to price in the retreat in advance, reducing the magnitude of the spikes and accelerating the return to normalcy.

This phenomenon has important implications. Strategically, it means that the threat must continually evolve to maintain credibility: becoming more extreme, or being accompanied by concrete actions that make it more real. Financially, it means that volatility cycles are shortening and fading over time.

But there is another implication, perhaps the most dangerous: if the market has learned to bet on Trump's withdrawal, what happens on the day Trump, for whatever domestic or foreign policy reason, decides not to withdraw? The market would find itself having mispriced a catastrophic geopolitical event, with potentially systemic consequences.

Take education for example, a student goes to school seven hours a day, five days a week for twelve years long. A child enters a building and is taught to sit and be silent unless permitted to speak. Has to ask permission to use the bathroom. Learns the wrong questions are an interruption and the questions printed in the textbook are the only questions that are allowed. The child earns that their worth is measured and printed on a piece of paper. The child learns that thinking outside orthodoxy is a problem that must be corrected. By the time the child leaves the building twelve years later, the curious organism that arrived in the building at age six, has been processed into a compliant unit that knows how to perform attention but no longer knows what she or he actually wants. This isn't a malfunction after twelve years. This is the intended product. The system was designed to do precisely this by the people who designed this system in the 19th century. It was called "education" and still is. When these same institutions that have done this to children turn to you and say, "they are worried about an AI chatbot harming young minds," you have to stop and ask yourself, what minds?
AI Re-routes

by Miles Mathis | May 4, 2026

After losing $2 trillion in market cap in AI firms and scaling the data centers back by at least 75%, the
Phoenician Navy had to find another way to charge you for all this mist and forestall their imminent
collapse, so in recent days we have found a lot of articles talking about these companies like OpenAI,
Oracle, and others joining the defense department as contractors, feeding from the treasury through the
defense budget. They have already been doing that for years, but it just got much bigger. Oracle appears to be the new leader in this, so it is curious this news came out just weeks after Oracle lost billions and fired thousands. I guess that is why Trump is wanting to increase the DoD by 50% to $1.5 trillion per year. It isn't the computers that are so hungry, it is these thieves, always hungry for the next con.

Then today came the news that Anthropic, a nearly imaginary company, is joining Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and other big Wall Street firms to feed on you that way. Doesn't that make you feel toasty? These companies already have their snorkels deep in the treasury via the banks and the Federal Reserve, and Trump will no doubt find some way to increase that air supply as well, through some LIBOR-like scams. If you stop the theft in one direction, they just take a more direct route.

I mentioned to a friend that it looked like this AI scam was already a success, despite the reported
collapse of data centers. As we have seen before, these gambits don't even need to come to fruition,
and are often more profitable in failure. They make huge returns on the upside and downside even when, or especially when, they completely fail to produce a product. These huge AI firms have already siphoned billions from the treasury in subsidies and fake "partnerships" with the government: I remind you of Trump's appearance with Larry Ellison on day two of his term, announcing billions in funding. Funding from where? From you, of course. From the usual raid on the US treasury. And when this all inevitably goes in the crapper, the same thing will happen again, but this time it will be called a bailout instead of a partnership. These companies will be called "too big to fail" and will be given a second huge dip in the treasury to keep them solvent. Everyone involved will be given the usual raises and bonuses and golden parachutes for their failures, retiring to their private islands or maybe faking their deaths. Same thing we see every decade or two now. They have been at it since the time of Lincoln (and before) with these schemes, the only difference being that they get more brazen each time.

And in other news, we saw Infowars go "off air" this week, though Alex admits he will just rename it
and keep going. So what's with that? Well, they needed some pretend closure on Alex's Sandy Hook
adventure, to keep people like me from continuing to ridicule them. This will also help fundraising,
since Alex can use it for a bigger beg from his audience, to "save" him from these evil entities like the
Onion who are after him. It's all the usual bluff. How do I know? Because Sandy Hook was a
complete fiction and there are no Sandy Hook parents. The lawsuits were also fake, including the
trials, as I have shown. It was all the usual vaudeville, more than 13 years of it now.
