The world's most powerful and wealthy movers and shakers are making the kind of moves that suggest something is up. Something big that they're not talking about amid all the wars and distractions. They want us to focus on bread and circuses, like the embarrassing UFC fight scheduled to take place on the White House lawn. Trump now says he'd like to make the UFC arena he set up in front of the White House a permanent fixture, but I digress.

President Trump's daughter and son in-law, Ivanka and Jared Kushner, recently admitted they're developing an off-grid private island and that someone far wealthier than even them helped them buy the remote island off the coast of Albania.

In a recent podcast, Kushner spoke of the exchange he had with Nat Rothschild "after leaving government" in 2021, which is interesting because Kushner has never held an official position in the federal government. He has been dispatched by President Trump on diplomatic missions to end the Ukraine-Russia War and the Iran war, despite having no previous diplomatic experience. He has failed miserably in those assignments.

But qualifications don't matter much when you have friends in high places, and Nat Rothschild is about as high on the power pole as it gets. He is part of the same Rothschild banking family that bailed Kushner's father-in-law, Donald Trump, out of bankruptcy when his risky real estate ventures in Atlantic City, New Jersey's, gambling playground flopped some 35 years ago. While he’s proven himself to be not very good at diplomacy, Kushner is very good at using his connections in the world of high finance to become a successful global real estate developer.

The International Business Times reports:

Jared Kushner has said that financier Nat Rothschild helped him identify a remote private island in the Mediterranean during a yacht trip, as the Special Envoy for Peace's expanding overseas property interests face growing political backlash in Albania over a planned luxury resort development on Sazan Island.

Kushner said the idea came up during a European pleasure trip at sea. As he tells it, he was on a friend's yacht, owned by Fifth Baron Nat Rothschild, son of the late Jacob Rothschild, when conversations about the project began. After Rothschild worked his magic, it led to meetings with highly placed Albanian government officials, including Prime Minister Edi Rama. It’s easy to get lucrative business deals done when you have a Rothschild in your phone's contact list.

This is the same Rothschild family, by the way, whose members cavort with the likes of Hillary Clinton and Gavin Newsom. We have to get out of this left-right, Democrat-Republican mindset if we are ever going to separate truth from propaganda. Politicians are the puppets of much more powerful people, whose names are kept out of the corporate media and public spotlight.

Ivanka Trump, Jared's wife, tells the same story with a slightly different twist in a podcast interview cited by Newsweek, saying she and Jared discovered the island "by chance" one day while enjoying a swim in the sea, but notice how she cleverly refers to the million-dollar yacht as a mere "boat." Sounds so middle-class American, doesn’t it?

Speaking on the Founders podcast, Ivanka said they discovered the island by chance while on a boat trip, recalling: "We were on a friend's boat, and we stopped for a swim…and we were just captivated."

That initial fascination has evolved into a major project, with the couple now planning a large-scale resort backed by roughly $1.4 billion to $1.6 billion in investment from Kushner's firm, Affinity Partners.

You can watch and listen to the whole sordid story of the Kushners in Albania in the video report below, but suffice it to say this billionaire couple are not exactly loved in Albania, where their real estate project is highly unpopular and has sparked daily street protests.

It's nice to know that the Kushners will enjoy comfort and luxury on their remote island when the time comes to leave their home country. Perhaps they know that there's a real chance that her daddy's policies of invading one oil-rich country after another and slapping sanctions on one of the world’s biggest oil producers, Russia, while funding a proxy war against them could push Russia and its major ally, China, over a final red line at some point. Or, perhaps they know her daddy's policies are so unpopular and about to get more unpopular, that living in the United States would no longer be the money-making party that it once was for the corrupt grifters and crony capitalists of the Epstein class.

Let's see if we understand this correctly. The Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin was instrumental in creating the state of Israel and today America is Israel's protectorate. Now we see Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has reduced officially recognized religious affiliation codes from over 200 to 31 for "administrative streamlining" while the US and Israel militaries are being integrated. The updated list heavily favors Christian denominations while dropping categories such as Atheist, Humanist, Pagan, and Wiccan. This move marginalizes non-Christians and promotes favoritism of Christianity over other beliefs. America is an Abrahamic nation and is largely controlled by powerful Israel-related interests. This is a very dangerous precedent being set again.

The irony here has not been lost. Thomas Paine was a radical deist who fiercely opposed organized Christianity. In The Age of Reason (written between 1794–95 and was a major attack on Christianity), he attacked the Bible, miracles, and core Christian doctrines as "fables" and "impositions," advocating "reason over revelation." Maybe Paine realized something most Christians do not understand today? Those fables and impositions were created by Jewish scribes who rewrote earlier texts from ancient Greek to forge their history? Many non-Christians today outright reject the idea that America is a "Judeo-Christian" nation. Virtually all major American "Founding Fathers" were influenced by Thomas Paine, particularly by his 1776 pamphlet Common Sense, which sold hundreds of thousands of copies and shifted colonial opinion toward full independence from Britain (today it's British-Zionism). Today, we constantly see Christian apologists going up against Paine's thinking to sabotage his work.

While Paine's Common Sense profoundly influenced the push for independence (and many Founders admired that work), his later religious critiques alienated several key figures. Benjamin Franklin warned him against publishing it, and orthodox Christian Founders like Elias Boudinot publicly rebutted him. Note that Boudinot founded and became the first president of the American Bible Society (bible distributors). The reason Franklin opposed much of Paine's work was superficial. He thought Christianity would bring about a level of "good social value." He further likely used Christianity, despite his thoughts on deism (paganism and deism do overlap with certain ideas), in the colonies to "maintain unity."

The broader Founding generation was religiously diverse: many were Christians (often Protestant) of varying orthodoxy, while central figures like Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison leaned toward Enlightenment-influenced deism or "theistic rationalism." They believed in a Creator and moral order but were skeptical of religious dogma and institutional religion.

The First Amendment's no-establishment clause reflected a deliberate rejection of a national church, even as the cultural backdrop remained broadly Christian.

Today's Pentagon policy under Hegseth streamlining religious codes with a heavy Christian emphasis, reflects ongoing tensions in American public life between secular/liberal traditions (echoing Paine) and the country's historically Christian-majority heritage. It's a reminder that the Founding era contained competing impulses rather than a single, unified ideology. Currently, the US military reflects this: about 70% of active-duty service members identify as Christian. The larger and more significant question is why is the US military and America in general being brought back into Christianity?

Hegseth's Pentagon slashes the number of religious faiths it officially recognizes

The defense secretary has spent most of his tenure drifting from one culture war priority to another. Evidently, he hasn’t gotten to the end of his list.

To a degree without modern precedent, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has used his powerful office to advance a Christian nationalist agenda. In recent months, Americans have seen him lead Christian prayer services in the Pentagon’s auditorium, invite radical Christian nationalist figures to speak at official prayer services, use social media to promote messages that suggest his faith should dominate other religious traditions and even argue during an official press briefing that Americans should take a knee and pray "in the name of Jesus Christ."

Since the war in Iran began, the former Fox News host has intensified these efforts. The New York Times reported in March, "More than any top American military leader in recent history, Mr. Hegseth has framed U.S. military operations in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America as bigger than politics or foreign policy. Often he has imbued these actions with a Christian moral underpinning that suggests they are divinely sanctioned."

Soon after, Hegseth explicitly likened the rescue of a missing American airman shot down over Iran to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The week after that, the Pentagon chief started equating journalists he doesn't like with "pharisees."

This week, however, a related problem emerged, though in an unexpected way: Instead of seeing Hegseth's Defense Department take steps to elevate one faith tradition, Americans are seeing the Pentagon demote other faith traditions. The Religion News Service reported:

The Department of Defense is substantially reducing the number of religions it officially recognizes, reportedly excluding atheists, pagans, humanists and New Age faiths, an independent military-focused news website reports.

The reduction of recognized faith groups represents the first time the military has revised the list since 2017, when it vastly expanded the list of recognized faith groups to about 211. The new list includes 31 recognized faiths, as first reported by Military.com on Thursday (June 4).

The Military.com report was based on a memorandum issued by Anthony Tata on May 20. (Tata, the under secretary of defense for personnel and readiness, is perhaps best known for his record of anti-Muslim rhetoric and bonkers condemnations of Barack Obama, whom Tata described as a "terrorist leader." Last year, Senate Republicans confirmed him anyway.)

President Donald Trump on Wednesday formally advanced a long-sought effort to make it easier to remove senior federal employees involved in policymaking, arguing the change will help ensure government agencies are responsive to elected leadership and the American people.

Trump signed an executive order implementing Schedule Policy/Career, or Schedule P/C, a new employment classification that places certain career federal workers into positions that can be hired and removed in a manner similar to political appointees.

The policy is a revival of the first Trump administration's Schedule F initiative and is expected to affect roughly 8,000 federal employees.

According to the White House, the move is designed to address longstanding difficulties in removing federal workers accused of poor performance or misconduct.

The executive order states that employees placed into the new category would be "exempted from the adverse action procedures that make removals for poor performance or misconduct so difficult."

The administration argued that some high-ranking career officials have remained in influential government positions despite poor performance or resistance to implementing presidential policies.

"Consequently, employees with significant policy-making responsibilities can stay in their jobs for years even if they perform poorly, engage in misconduct, or are unwilling to advance Presidential policy across administrations, making their agencies less capable of delivering for the American people," the White House said in a fact sheet.

Many of us have had the intuition that the economic damage from 2020 - including industrial stoppages, monetary printing, supply-chain disruptions, extended school closures, and general population demoralization - was in fact far greater than official statistics indicate.

What follows will shore up this intuition, using new techniques and numbers from an innovative project called RealityIndex.co.

It's true that official data is bad enough, showing a 26% loss in purchasing power, slow growth in output, and only marginal improvements in real income. The labor participation rate and worker/population ratio never fully recovered and continue to fall.

Output has been lackluster. It's supposedly running 2.3% which is about half the postwar norm for US economic performance. It feels like a general downshift. Official data shows a brief recession in 2020 followed by gradual economic recovery overall.

But is this even true? In 2024, Brownstone Institute commissioned a study (by E.J. Antoni and Peter St. Onge) that concluded that we have never really entered recovery after 2022. We've been in a technical recession since that time. They got this with some limited adjustments of price data bumped up against output data. That study was met with brutal attacks, with every critic falling back on official data and doubting the supposed extremism of the conclusion.

That's where matters have stood even as reports pour in concerning broken labor markets, no raises for 1 in 4 professional-class workers, and sketchy Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data that seems barely above zero thanks mainly to medical-sector subsidies, government spending, and social services. Then there are the learning losses showing dramatic declines in test scores among affected students.

We are left with real questions. How can consumer sentiment be at historic lows given that the overall data seems to raise no loud alarms?

In the meantime, Artificial Intelligence has come along to make these complicated calculations possible, ones that seek to discern and delineate the huge gaps between official data and reality. The goal is to come up with real data concerning real prices, sans the many different methods that the Department of Labor uses to adjust price changes.

For example, housing prices are not measured directly but rather converted to owners' equivalent rent (OER). Medical service prices are adjusted for consumption, not premiums or final bills. When consumers substitute one good for another, that is also factored in. When the quality of a good or service improves, the statisticians apply what they called hedonic adjustments, which are invariably designed to minimize price increases and never run the other direction.

Where does this leave those of us who are looking for a plain index of prices? A veil has been put over that basic question and answer, such that we don't know for sure. This matters tremendously for issues like raises, examining cost of living increases, taxes, and pension payments. Everything is adjusted for inflation to convert it to real valuations but if we don't have a clear number, what are we to do?

This is why we should be thrilled about a new study/service called the Reality Index. You are free to browse the site yourself and examine every aspect of the method. Essentially, the site owner, an independent intellectual in Madrid, Tom Elliott, has deployed tools of AI to wholly reconstruct price indices in a way that is consistent with actual prices. His results are absolutely eye-popping. I've examined the method here in detail and found no fault.

The Wall Street Journal has also taken notice. This is good news and raises the possibility that we can finally get to the truth.

The core of the problem is a constantly changing methodology in official data. The formula was changed eight times over 35 years. All the changes seem technical and vaguely justifiable, once explained. Adding them all up, you get wild distortions in the data that the index is supposed to reveal. All these changes came home to roost in the great inflation of 2021-2024, which might be entering a second wave right now.

In 1983, owners' equivalent rent replaced basic housing prices. The new formula was based on an estimate of what homeowners would have to pay to rent their own homes. But in real life, people pay mortgages, property taxes, and home prices. When home prices and mortgage rates rise faster than rents, the new formula understates the housing inflation real households face.

In 1996, the Boskin Commission announced that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was overstated because people substitute higher-priced goods for lower-priced goods which are too slow in being calculated. The agency made the correction to eliminate the bias in the fixed basket of goods. The problem is that every single adjustment ended up forcing the reported rate to be less than a plain addition of the same goods over time.

In 1998, there was a new fashion for hedonic adjustments. This stemmed from an observation that quality is always improving, especially in digital goods and computer functioning. The idea is that you might be paying the same or even more but you are getting more bang for your buck with quality shifts. You guessed it: hedonic adjustments drew the inflation rate lower. Notably, hedonic adjustments never run the other way, raising prices when quality decreases.

In 1999, a geometric mean formula replaced arithmetic mean for most CPI components. This was intended to capture substitution effects. This was the change that ended up disguising the increase in medical service costs. By looking at consumed services rather than actual prices, the inflation rate in this sector ended up burying inflationary trends. This highly technical adjustment completely ignored all the ways in which substitution is a behavioral adaptation to inflation, not a reduction in the inflation experienced.

In 2002, we got a continuation of this same method with new "chained CPI" which changes the basket weighting based on new purchasing patterns. Sure, if people buy less beef and more chicken, the household will experience inflation in a different way. But this ignores the manner in which the substitutions themselves are a response to higher prices. In 2017, the new calculation was applied to taxes causing people to pay more than they otherwise would have under the old method.

In 2018, the hedonic adjustment strategy was expanded to a huge new range of products including smartphones, residential telephone services, internet services, and cable and satellite television. In 2020, at the same time the composition of M1 was changed and not retrospectively applied such that the data is essentially useless. Following money supply data became more difficult. Then in 2024, the Bureau of Labor Statistics stopped looking at the actual cost of medical services and started only looking at claims, completing the consumption-only bias against actual posted prices. In 2025, a month went by with no data collection at all.

So what happens when we strip all this away and examine actual prices as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, without all the many adjustments? We find that a basket of goods and services that cost $100 in 1980 costs $515 per the Reality Index in 2025. The official CPI reports only $391.

Major General (Aluf) Roman Gofman was appointed and sworn in as the Director of Israel's Mossad (the 14th director) on June 2, 2026. He succeeded David Barnea after a five-year term. There are approximately 1.3 million Russian-speakers (primarily immigrants from Russia and other former Soviet Union countries along with their descendants) who live in Israel, representing about 15% of Israel's total population. Herzi Halevi (also known as Herzl Halevi), whose paternal grandparents immigrated from Russia, served as the 23rd Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces from January 2023 to March 2025 (see Forget all the BS about Hamas, it was Israeli terrorists who were raping, killing babies and civilians, as their own officials now admit). Avigdor Lieberman, born in Chișinău, Moldavian SSR (Soviet Union, now Moldova), is the most notable former Israeli Minister of Defense with direct Soviet/Russian-speaking origins. It should also be pointed out that all of Israel's prime ministers since Israel's founding came from the Soviet Union, or eastern European countries that were part of the Russian empire. Something further needs to be pointed out. While Major General Roman Gofman is the first Soviet-born Mossad director in the modern era, he is not the first overall head of Mossad. Isser Harel, Mossad chief from 1952 to 1963, was born in Vitebsk (now Belarus) that was then part of the Russian Empire.

Major General Roman Gofman officially took over as head of Israel's foreign intelligence service, the Mossad, replacing David Barnea. The ceremony took place on June 2 at the agency's headquarters, attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called the fight against Iran's nuclear program the new intelligence chief's top priority.

Gofman was born in 1976 in the Belarusian city of Mozyr [then the Soviet Union] and immigrated to Israel from the USSR with his family in 1990. He began his military career in the armored forces, later commanding the 7th Armored Brigade and the 210th HaBashan Division.

In 2024, Gofman was appointed Military Secretary to the Prime Minister, and five years earlier, he had become one of the first representatives of the "Great Aliyah" (mass immigration from the USSR and the CIS) to be promoted to brigadier general. His appointment as head of the Mossad was fraught with legal complications, but the High Court of Justice of Israel rejected all petitions against his candidacy.

Adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office Dmitry Gendelman called this event historical, emphasizing that Gofman became a representative of repatriates from the former USSR, occupying the highest post in the country's security structures.

As of 2025, approximately 1.2 million immigrants from the former Soviet Union and their family members reside in Israel. Israel's total population is approximately 10 million.

Joseph Kushner, the father of Charles Kushner and grandfather of Jared Kushner, was born in 1922 in Novogrudok, located in modern-day Belarus, a region formerly part of the Russian Empire that later became part of interwar Poland. Today the system has reached extremes. Global debt stands at approximately 353 trillion dollars as of early 2026, equaling 305 percent of world GDP. Most money in circulation originates as interest-bearing loans created by banks. Governments run perpetual deficits. Repayment at scale is mathematically impossible without inflation or default. Central banks expand supply to sustain this ongoing illusion and hidden pillaging. This predatory architecture transfers wealth upward through the Cantillon effect (money trickles down slowly chewed away by inflation) while imposing financial repression on savers. It demands constant growth and the surveillance we are seeing being built around us to enforce compliance. Anything that has value governments want. You aren't safe or protected from this kind of predation. Governments don't create value. Governments extract value - from you.

The monetary system itself is broken. Modern fiat currency functions as a predatory mechanism deliberately engineered to extract your value, energy and time continuously. The harvesting never stops. It is inherent in the system. Banks create money through debt issuance that requires repayment with interest that does not exist in the base supply. Chronic inflation erodes purchasing power, forcing individuals to expend ever more time and physical energy simply to preserve the real value of their labor. This silent theft benefits early recipients (the Cantillon effect) of new money at the direct expense of the productive class and savers. There is simply no way for the average individual living under duress from increasing taxes and costs to compete fairly in this system. The architecture converts human energy into systemic extraction. This predatory cycle must end if humanity is to move forward into genuine productivity and freedom.

The result is structural insolvency masked by collective belief. It is mass scale cognitive dissonance locked into this financial system. Inflation fights natural deflation from productivity gains because falling prices would increase real debt burdens. This dynamic concentrates power. That is the intended structural and systemic design. It justifies expanded monitoring of financial flows. It enables programmable restrictions on capital and behavior. The outcome is a managed economy that blends elements of state direction, corporate favoritism, it has eviscerated individual sovereignty and agency. We are witnessing daily socialism and fascism being implemented to enforce the current financial system. The problem is most people are simply not cognizant of what is really happening in the world.

Technological progress remains deeply entangled in this debt structure. Private equity funding, corporate research, and government subsidies rely on cheap credit and asset bubbles. Innovation often scales through debt-fueled consumption and centralized platforms. This dependency raises a critical question: Can technology decouple from the debt machine? Unless it does and is released to benefit humanity rather than being used to strip humanity of their capacity to bring value to others, we are going to experience further centralization. As it stands right now technology is being used to build control systems, the surveillance state, CBDCs and financial controls over all of our activities. With all of this technology available to us today why are we being taxed to death and a simple dinner out for two at a nice restaurant in California runs $250? Fascism and socialism are ultimately the subsequent results of maintaining this financial control.

Evidence suggests partial pathways exist. Open-source hardware and additive manufacturing enable localized production of tools and goods. Mesh networks and peer-to-peer protocols bypass centralized infrastructure. Precision agriculture, affordable solar, and small-scale energy systems support community self-sufficiency. These tools reduce coordination costs and shorten supply chains. They allow value creation based on real resources and voluntary exchange rather than credit expansion.

Bitcoin stands as the clearest monetary break. Its protocol enforces a fixed supply of 21 million units. It operates without trusted intermediaries or middlemen taxing you at the toll booths. Transactions settle peer-to-peer on a transparent, immutable ledger secured by proof-of-work. In environments of high inflation or capital controls, it already functions as a parallel savings and transfer mechanism. It rewards saving and long time horizons. It counters perpetual debasement. People who hold Bitcoin must keep it in a personal wallet stored offline. Self-custody through hardware wallets disconnected from the internet protects against exchange failures, hacks, and regulatory seizure. This practice maintains true sovereignty and prevents the asset from being pulled back into the debt-based financial rails.

The core problem is not external villains. People blame politicians. They blame corporations. They blame banks. Blame directed at groups or individuals distracts from the mechanism itself. The debt architecture incentivizes expansion regardless of who holds office. Humanity remains locked in because participation feels mandatory for daily survival. Exchanging your time and energy for a debt based currency is carrying around a ball and chain your entire life and most people think this is "normal" because they have no concept of systems or alternatives. The media controls the narrative ultimately by central banks that create debt based money out of nothing to keep people locked into the system. If you become a serious threat to this financial debt based system you will be killed with impunity.

The factual solution lies in personal and parallel withdrawal. Individuals can adopt sound money assets for portions of savings. They can build or join local production networks using open-source technology. They can prioritize skills, tools, and communities that operate on mutual credit or direct exchange. They can reduce leverage and consumption financed by new debt. These steps compound. They create pockets of deflationary abundance where productivity lowers costs and rewards prudence.

Technology uncoupled from infinite credit offers measured hope. It lowers barriers to entry and raises the cost of centralized control. Full escape is neither immediate nor guaranteed. The incumbent system has survived repeated predictions of collapse through adaptation and coercion. Yet verifiable scarcity, decentralized networks, and localized capability provide tools unavailable for most of the past 5,000 years.

The path forward requires disciplined opt-out. Unfortunately, most people do not have the creative capacity or wherewithal to break out of this system. Focus on personal removal from the debt cycle through whatever means are accessible to you. Produce real value. Learn to produce more than you consume. Secure private keys (self-custody). Build resilient local systems. This represents the hardest but most factual response to a monetary order that has shaped human relations for millennia.

The reported scheme would replace the Waqf—the Jordanian‑run Islamic trust that has administered the Haram al‑Sharif since the early twentieth century—with an Israeli‑appointed body tasked with redefining the sacred enclosure as a "multi‑faith centre." According to the report, the number of senior employees based in Israel declined by nearly 10 percent, while the number of senior personnel located in the United States increased.

First Decline in a Decade

The report recorded the first decrease in research and development employment in approximately ten years.

The number of R&D workers fell by about 3,500, while their share of the total technology workforce declined from 51 percent to 49 percent.

Israeli media cited several possible explanations, including increased use of artificial intelligence tools and growing incentives for companies to relocate activities abroad.

The report also noted that Israeli firms are increasingly shifting research and development operations to Eastern Europe and the United States, partly due to economic pressures stemming from exchange rates and international operating costs.

Consider what a nation chooses to see. Attention is not a neutral faculty, a camera that simply records whatever passes before it. A society has only so much moral attention to spend, and the way it spends that attention, what it magnifies and what it lets slide past, is among the most honest confessions it ever makes about its real beliefs. We learn what a people values not from its official creeds but from the deaths it cannot stop talking about, set beside the deaths it manages to forget within a week.

Begin, then, with the deaths a nation could not stop talking about. When George Floyd died under a Minneapolis officer's knee in May 2020, Britain responded as though the killing had happened in Bristol rather than 4,000 miles away. The Guardian's own survey of that summer found demonstrations in more than 260 British towns and cities, from Shetland to south Wales, with crowds of 15,000 in Manchester and well over 210,000 marchers nationwide by mid June. The future Prime Minister knelt for the cameras. This is worth dwelling on, because it proves something the British establishment now seems eager to deny about itself. It is fully capable of treating a police death on another continent as a domestic moral emergency. The machinery exists. The will exists. The question is only when it switches on.

Now set against that the case of Henry Nowak. Last December, Nowak, an 18-year-old finance student at the University of Southampton, walked home from an evening out with his football teammates and was stabbed five times by Vickrum Digwa with a 8.5 inch blade, one wound piercing his heart. When officers arrived, Digwa told them what prosecutors would later call a wicked lie, that he was the victim of a racist attack. The gravely wounded teenager told police he had been stabbed. They handcuffed him anyway. They arrested the dying boy on the word of the man who had killed him, and only when Nowak collapsed did they remove the cuffs and begin first aid. He died at the scene. This week a Southampton jury convicted Digwa of murder, rejecting his claims of self-defence and racial provocation, and convicted his mother of assisting an offender for hiding the weapon. Hampshire's Deputy Chief Constable apologized that Henry was handcuffed and arrested in the moments before he lost consciousness, the Independent Office for Police Conduct opened an investigation, and his reported final words, according to trial reporting and the shadow home secretary, were the three that a nation had treated as sacred only six years earlier: I can't breathe.

Let me anticipate the first and fairest objection, because the strength of this argument depends on conceding it. The two deaths are not medically identical, and no honest observer should pretend otherwise. Floyd was wasn't killed by the police but from a fatal overdose of fentanyl according the coroner's report. Nowak was murdered by a private criminal, and Hampshire Police have cited a pathologist's view that the depth of the chest wound meant officers could not have saved him even had they believed every word he said. If the claim here were that the police killed Henry Nowak in the way Democrats claimed an officer killed George Floyd, that claim would be false. But that was never the comparison worth making. The variable under examination is not the cause of death. It is the response of a society to a death, and on that variable the two cases are almost laboratory clean. Measure the response, and the asymmetry stops being a matter of impression and becomes a matter of arithmetic. Signal AI, a media analytics firm and no conservative organ, found that in the two weeks after Floyd died he was named in 1,880,507 news items, more than the 1,668,210 that mentioned Donald Trump in the same period and roughly 20% of the entire global volume on coronavirus at the height of the pandemic. Of those items, 82.5% referenced the protests and 54.7% invoked racism or police brutality. That is not coverage. That is saturation, an industrial event in which a single death became, for a fortnight, the organising fact of the Western news cycle. Henry Nowak's killing, by contrast, moved through a narrow pipeline, a local stabbing, a trial, a verdict, a police apology, and only then a national argument, and it reached that national stage chiefly because conservative writers, opposition politicians, and Elon Musk's intervention dragged it there. The reaction was not absent. It was rationed.

The study described AI as a "jagged technological frontier," contradicting corporate hype portraying AI as a flawless replacement for skilled professionals. The problem here is that OpenAI is becoming a "gatekeeper for software development" while you get the shit version of AI.

AI megacorporations like OpenAI and Anthropic have scraped every word of human knowledge from the internet, and the US government is helping them sell it back to the public, Google whistleblower Zach Vorhies has told RT.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman caused controversy last month during an appearance at BlackRock in Washington DC, when he described his company’s vision of "a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."

In Altman’s future, AI companies will essentially charge users for access to data that they have collected for free by scraping libraries, archives, forums, and everywhere else knowledge is stored.

"These cartels have gone through and they've downloaded the data for themselves, before everybody else knew about it, and then once they downloaded it they shut the door behind them, which prevents researchers, it prevents startups from being able to challenge them," Vorhies told RT on Friday.

The US government has helped AI companies operate as cartels, he argued, by waging "lawfare" against free alternatives. These include Anna's Archive, which bills itself as "the largest truly open library in human history," and was ordered to pay Spotify $300 million in damages last month for scraping the entire platform, and Z-LIbrary, which was shut down by the FBI in 2022.

Congress quietly moves to integrate US and Israeli militaries

In the first step towards shifting aid further into the shadows, the House's 2027 NDAA would all but fuse the two countries' armed forces together

At a time when the American public is expressing unprecedented levels of distrust in the Israeli government, Congress just proposed tying the U.S. to the Israeli military more than ever before.

Buried in the House's version of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) released on Tuesday, is section 224, entitled "United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative." The provision would arguably do more to intertwine the U.S. military with the Israeli military than the more than $200 billion (inflation adjusted) in military assistance Israel has received from the U.S. since its founding in 1948.

Section 224 lays the groundwork for bilateral research and development, co-production of weapons, joint ventures, licensing agreements, and seemingly every manner of U.S.-Israeli military-industrial complex cooperation. The U.S. and Israel already work together heavily on missile defense, but this provision would greatly expand coordination to seemingly every area of defense tech, including AI, quantum, autonomous systems, directed energy, cyber, biotech, and many more. It also proposes "network integration" and "data fusion." In other words, the U.S. military’s data could soon be the Israeli military’s data.

If fully enacted, this proposal would provide a higher level of military-industrial integration than the U.S. has with any other country in the world. To be sure, the U.S. has worked closely with its NATO partners on co-production and shared supply chains, most notably via the Defence Production Action Plan. And, as the number one arms dealer in the world, the U.S. provides weapons to militaries across the globe. But that is mostly a one-way street, with the U.S. providing weapons to foreign buyers who only occasionally make parts for those weapons themselves, as in the case of the F-35's global supply chain.

Section 224 would be a different beast entirely. It would fuse the U.S. and Israeli defense sectors in multiple areas vital to the battlefields of the future, like autonomous systems and cyber. It would also bring extraordinary Israeli influence to the U.S. beyond what it already has through the Israel lobby and its robust network of social media influencers. It would give the Israeli government the opportunity to greatly expand one of the most powerful levers of influence in U.S. politics: jobs in the U.S. By expanding or starting new co-production facilities like it already has in Mississippi and Arkansas, the Israeli government could boast of providing jobs on U.S. soil, thereby securing allies among members of Congress who represent the districts where those jobs lie.

The result could well be a U.S. political system even more susceptible to the whims of an Israeli government that seemingly has no qualms about drawing the U.S. into military conflicts in the Middle East.

This unprecedented level of U.S.-Israeli military integration stands in stark contrast to the traditional aid model of defense cooperation, in which Israel already stood out as the top recipient of U.S. military assistance. As laid out in a recent Quincy Institute brief, authored by Steven Simon, this shift from an aid model to a military integration model has troubling implications, namely:

FBI Arrests CIA Official With $40 Million in Gold Bars, $2 Million In Cash Stashed in His Home

In what may be the most bizarre story of the week, if not all of 2026, the NYTimes reports that a senior CIA official was arrested last week after investigators found hundreds of gold bars worth over $40 million stashed in his Virginia residence, a non-fiat fortune that he apparently brought home from work, according to court papers.

The CIA official, David Rush, is being held in jail while he awaits a detention hearing in the coming days on charges of stealing public money by filling out fraudulent time sheets. But, as the NYT admits, the charging documents filed in Alexandria, Va., still leave a lot unanswered about his recent conduct.

The only formal charge lodged against Rush is that he inflated his academic credentials and obtained military leave pay worth tens of thousands of dollars. The authorities say he falsely claimed to be a member of the Navy Reserve when he was discharged.

In a 2009 application for a government position for which he was subsequently hired, Rush allegedly lied about obtaining a bachelor's degree from Clemson University and a master's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, according to the affidavit. The investigation revealed that Rush never attended or obtained a degree from either institution, according to the affidavit.

The court papers describe Rush as a "former senior executive service-level employee at a United States government agency." According to NYT sources, he until very recently held a senior position at the CIA.

In a joint statement, the CIA and FBI said the arrest occurred on May 19, after the agency alerted the bureau.

"After a C.I.A. internal investigation identified potential violations of the law, C.I.A. Director John Ratcliffe referred the information to the F.B.I. for a law enforcement investigation," the statement said.

From last November to March, the court papers say, Rush asked for, and received, "a significant quantity of foreign currency and tens of millions of dollars in gold bars for work-related expenses."

When the CIA conducted a review of where the gold and currency were stashed, the agency was "unable to locate the gold bars or significant amounts of the foreign currency," according to court papers.

Florida Governor Calls For Special Session To Eliminate Property Tax For Homeowners

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on May 27 called for a special legislative session to pass his plan to exempt homeowners from paying property taxes on their permanent residence.

The Republican governor revealed his plans to sign a proclamation that would require state lawmakers to convene in Tallahassee and discuss his "Save Our Homes" proposal starting on June 1.

"Taxing something that you own repeatedly, which is a property tax, is the worst way to do taxation," DeSantis said in a news conference on May 27.

DeSantis said he hopes that eliminating taxes from Florida homesteads could be a bipartisan effort.

"You pay all these taxes to acquire that property, and then year after year, you're just having to write a check just for the privilege of being able to maintain ownership of something that is supposedly yours," he said.

The proposal contemplates phasing in the exemption and creating a state trust fund to compensate local governments for lost revenue. Because the measure would involve a change to the Florida Constitution, if it passes the state Senate and state House, which are both Republican-controlled, it would need to be approved by voters in November.

Property tax revenue collected by local governments in the Sunshine State has nearly doubled in seven years, to $60 billion from $32 billion, according to the governor's office.

DeSantis wants to make local governments use property taxes only for core public needs such as public safety, education, infrastructure, and natural resources.

The proposal would require new Florida residents to maintain residency for up to five years before they can receive the homestead exemption.

The proclamation comes as the term-limited Republican nears the end of his term as governor, set for Jan. 5, 2027.

"I want to make sure people can go and vote for something, and then see something that's going to be very, very meaningful in their lives, and the way to do that is to focus on the homestead property owners," he said.

Spanberger Advances The Soft Coup Against America

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is advancing quickly among Democrats, but the Constitution itself has the tools for defeating it.

Advancing the latest "progressive" scheme to upend our Constitution and make the people serve the government, Governor Abigail Spanberger has signed a bill forcing Virginia to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). This ruse to overturn the Electoral College, a critical safeguard that ensures equal presidential representation for all Americans, is now just 48 votes away from national implementation.

The coalition seeks to force the presidential selection to be decided by popular vote alone. This would favor Democrats in two important ways, which is why Spanberger has speedily signed on. First, controlling the vote in America's most densely populated cities would be a near-guaranteed national victory. Replete with Tammany Hall-style power dynamics and political horse-trading, these cities are already Democrat strongholds.

Second, with the SAVE America Act stalled, Democrats will keep peddling the lie that voter ID disenfranchises minorities, while flooding election offices everywhere possible with mail-in ballots of uncertain origin.

The NPVIC says that states collectively holding at least 270 Electoral College votes must pass laws assigning their Electoral College votes to the popular vote winner. As of now, 18 states and the District of Columbia have done this, for a total of 222 votes. None require photo ID at any point in the voting process, and all went for Kamala Harris.

According to the coalition website, "Six additional states with 65 electoral votes (Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) are especially promising places for obtaining the 48 electoral votes needed before 2028."

With the coalition falling hard on political lines, the situation is troubling. All six of their targeted states have gubernatorial elections this November, with proven Bill of Rights abusers like Jocelyn Benson of Michigan favored to win. Although one or even both houses in some states have voted to join the popular vote compact at various times, the governor's signature has been the greatest hurdle. If the opportunity to codify this popular-vote scheme is seized by incoming administrations, a permanent woke regime in America that ends limited government and equality under the law is a real risk.

There is a way to stop this race toward totalitarianism. At the time of the founding, James Madison argued in Federalist 43 that "the minority of citizens may become a majority of persons, by the accession of alien residents, of a casual concourse of adventurers, or of those whom the Constitution of the State has not admitted to the rights of suffrage..."

He warned during the Virginia ratification debates that states, if left to their own devices in administering federal elections, could betray the agreement, subvert the national government, make their own treaties, and undo the virtues of unified national defense. This concern gave rise to the Elections Clause, which grants Congress authority over the states regarding the time, place, and manner of federal elections.

The Framers of the Fourteenth Amendment went further. These men had learned the brutal cost of maintaining the Union in the face of dissolution and devised methods to prevent any State from seceding again.

Congress addressed the issue of betrayal by electoral fraud head-on in the second section of the Fourteenth Amendment. This section penalizes States that infringe on the voting rights of their qualified citizens. Debates at the time made clear this had nothing to do with race; it is a guard against disloyalty. Using a ratio of injured voters to the total number of qualified voters, the state is reapportioned.

1666 - The Year the Bankers Set Fire to London

My working title doesn’t exactly bury the lede, so let's get right to it. The Great London Fire was the clandestine operation of the City of London's banking and business cabal, its purpose being 1) to divert public attention from the cabal’s legislative schemes and 2) to accelerate the national debt and ultimately achieve a "great reset" of the financial system. More on that later. The connection is almost too obvious to avoid, yet virtually every historian avoids it, since they are paid to. I'm not going to convince you by painstakingly unfolding the details of the event. My method will be much simpler and more convincing. All I need to do is show you the lasting financial and political impact of the fre and who were its beneficiaries, and it will become apparent that those same actors must have had a hand in its creation. Nowadays all history must be read backwards in this way, starting with effects to get at the cause, since we know that historical events are dominated by a very small cadre of actors, mostly bankers and other rogues from ancient lines.

Speaking of Bankers and Other Rogues, the first clue that sparked my interest in this topic came from a little book of that title by Alexander Del Mar. Del Mar was the Director of the Bureau of Statistics and the Mining Commissioner to the US Monetary Commission of 1876. Del Mar doesn’t say anything about the London free, but he does point our attention to the significance of the year 1666 for the banking system. In his own words:

From the remotest time to the seventeenth century of our era, the right to coin money and to regulate its value and by limiting or increasing the quantity of it in circulation, was the exclusive prerogative of the State. In 1604, in the celebrated case of the Mixed Moneys, this prerogative was affirmed under such extraordinary circumstances and with such an overwhelming array of judicial and forensic authority as to occasion alarm to the moneyed classes of England, who at once sought the means to overthrow it. These [means] they found in the demands of the East India Company, the corruption of Parliament, the profligacy of Charles II, and the influence of Barbara Villiers. The result was the surreptitious mint legislation of 1666: and thus a prerogative – which, next to the right of peace or war, is the most powerful instrument by which a State can influence the happiness of its subjects – was surrendered or sold for a song to a class of usurers, in whose hands it has remained ever since.

Del Mar goes on to detail exactly how this was done:

The object of the East India Company, their backers the landlords of England, their colleagues the goldsmiths of London, and their agents in Parliament…was: First, to remove the restriction upon the exportation of coins and bullion. Second, to get rid of the State seigniorage upon the coins. Third, to usurp the prerogative of coinage for themselves.

These objects they accomplished by means of separate measures… By this device the extent and importance of the alteration escaped attention.

In other words, by tucking the necessary language into separate pieces of legislation spread over many years, the British citizenry were kept in the dark about the full implications of these Parliamentary acts. Sound familiar? They use this same tactic to this very day. The first two goals were accomplished by the 1663 Staple Act, while the third and final nail was hammered in by the 1666 Coinage Act. The stated goal of these laws, as Wikipedia puts it, was "to facilitate the overseas operations of the charter companies." That's a delicate way of saying these laws essentially gave the East India Company completely unchecked freedom to import and export as much gold and silver as they wanted for their own proft, and even minting their own coins with the EIC logo rather than the royal English seal. Put simply, the EIC became its own sovereign nation, which has since proliferated into the all-powerful corporatocracies that shape our modern world.

Here is an Indian Half Anna from 1835. Notice the insignia looks like an official government seal; but it isn't. It's the crest of the EIC, which was a private, for-profit company. just like the Federal Reserve insignia printed on every U.S. bill looks like, but is not, an official government seal – since the Federal Reserve is an unregulated consortium of private, for-profit banks. The whole modern central banking system can be traced back to the EIC and its close associates in the goldsmith's guild, the peerage, and Parliament. The motto of the EIC (shown in abbreviated form on the coin) tells you as much: Auspicio Regis et Senatus Angliae. This is usually translated "by command of" or "under the authority of" the king and senate of England, but of course the literal translation is "under the auspices of". In case you don't know, that means with the support and approval of. Legally, it does not have to mean you are doing it for them or that you even answer to them. That means the entire country of India was not ruled by the British government but was in fact the property of a private corporation for over two centuries. (India is still owned by private interests, of course, unless you are naïve enough to believe its citizens actually gained "independence" in 1947.)

But the fact most pertinent to our topic is that 1666 marked the legislative replacement of sovereign money with private money in England, and only months before the Great London Fire. To understand how these events connect, let’s jump ahead to 1683, when the City of London Corporation defaulted on its loans. This is the first major default in modern history that is well-documented. I refer you to the research of Nathan Sussman. Here is his reconstruction of the City of London's financial situation:

This graph is worth a thousand words, as it clearly shows the cause and effect of the 1666 fire and the 1683 default. In case you didn't know, the City of London Corporation was not (and to this day is not) a government body, but a private, for-profit corporation as its name suggests. It was to land what the EIC was to sea. The City of London is essentially a sovereign nation located geographically within – but totally independent of – the political entity known as the Kingdom of Great Britain. As Sussman notes, it "enjoyed privileges and rights, especially lack of control by Parliament and lack of accountability to any other institution in England." Inside the City of London are the corporate headquarters of the banks and their various financial operations centers.

So, the Great Fire was directly responsible for the 1683 default of the City of London. So what? Well, the City of London's financial issues led to the Parliament initiating a Quo Warranto trial against it beginning in 1681. In other words, terminating its charter and thereby revoking its sovereignty. They accomplished this in June 1683. Sounds like a good thing, right? Except that revoking its sovereignty meant the Corporation was no longer a legal entity responsible for its debts. When it defaulted a few months later, there were no repercussions for any of its shareholders. No one went to jail and no one paid a dime. Who was hurt in all of this? The taxpayer, of course. Look at the previous graph again, and you’ll see the Corporation had been receiving government funding through the Orphan Fund, a.k.a. taxpayer money. And yes, the Orphan Fund was supposed to be going to orphans, not to rich capitalists and aristocrats. What's more:

The informed and wealthy managed to bail themselves out before default.

If you're lost at this point, let me unwind it for you. Rebuilding London after the Great Fire caused an explosion in the City of London Corporation's debts, forcing it to default 16 years later. But through some legal maneuvering none of its shareholders were ever held responsible for this unpaid debt, much of which was borrowed directly from the Treasury and the Orphans Fund. Of the remaining loans provided by private individuals, the average Joes were left holding the bag while the well-connected investors got all their money out in time.

But it gets worse. The default of the Corporation was only one of two major defaults precipitated by the Great Fire. The other was the default of the Crown itself in 1672, which triggered the Great Stop of the Exchequer. The king at this time was Charles II, a descendent of the northern crypto-Jewish Jagiellonian dynasty that Miles has formerly traced all through the royal lines of Europe.

The Executive Order No One Read

On August 21, 2025, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14338, formally titled Improving Our Nation Through Better Design. It was published in the Federal Register on August 26, 2025, in Volume 90, Number 163, pages 41759-41760. It created a new White House agency called the National Design Studio (NDS), established the position of Chief Design Officer of the United States, and quietly set in motion one of the most sweeping and least scrutinized reorganizations of how Americans interact with their own government. Most Americans have never heard of it. That is not an accident. When a billionaire Airbnb co-founder designs how Americans file their taxes, renew your passports, and collect their Social Security, the government has not been modernized. It has been acquired.

The order was not debated in Congress. It was not subject to public comment. No hearings were held. No independent oversight body was consulted. A single signature in the Oval Office created a new White House agency with authority over 27,000 federal websites and subdomains, touching systems that handle Social Security records, tax filings, passport renewals, green card applications, student loan repayments, Medicare enrollment, and small business loans. The combined monthly traffic to those sites exceeds 160 million visits. The personal data flowing through them represents the most comprehensive portrait of the American population in existence.

This is the story of who built it, who is running it, who funds it, and what they intend to do with it.

The Principals

Joe Gebbia, Chief Design Officer

Joseph Gebbia Jr., born August 21, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, is the co-founder and former Chief Product Officer of Airbnb. He holds dual degrees in Graphic Design and Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He built his fortune on a platform that monetizes the precise location, behavioral patterns, financial records, and personal preferences of its users across 190 countries. He is a signatory to the Giving Pledge. He is also, as of September 2025, the first Chief Design Officer of the United States.

According to reporting by Wired, Gebbia was originally set to join the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under Elon Musk. He instead negotiated his own office. He pitched the National Design Studio concept directly to Trump during a meeting at the Oval Office, after Interior Secretary Doug Burgum asked him to redesign Recreation.gov. The pitch worked. What began as a camping website refresh became a mandate to redesign the entire federal government's digital presence.

Gebbia has publicly described the NDS's goal as creating an "Apple Store-like experience" for government services. Apple was specifically cited as a design reference point. The framing is telling: Apple's model is built on maximum data capture, behavioral tracking, and ecosystem lock-in. Translating that model to the federal government, with its unique and coercive relationship to citizen data, raises questions that Gebbia has not answered publicly.

Edward Coristine, Head of Engineering

Edward Coristine, born December 2005, known online as "Big Balls", is a Northeastern University dropout who joined Elon Musk's DOGE operation at age 19 with no prior government experience. He is now listed as Head of Engineering at the National Design Studio.

Coristine's background warrants scrutiny. Bloomberg News reported that he was fired from a cybersecurity internship at Path Network in 2022 for allegedly leaking internal company information to a competitor. His personal content delivery network, DiamondCDN, has been linked by investigators to facilitating the work of the cybercriminal group EGodly. A former FBI agent who reviewed his background stated publicly that he would not have recommended Coristine for government work.

During his DOGE tenure, Coristine was granted access to systems at the Social Security Administration, the Small Business Administration, the General Services Administration, the Treasury Department, the Commerce Department, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He attended high-level meetings involving military operations. He was 19 years old. He had not undergone standard national security vetting.

In a recorded conversation that surfaced in April 2026, Coristine described how federal datasets he had access to were used to help a conservative YouTuber named Nick Shirley conduct a fraud investigation in California. Shirley told Coristine on video: "I went to California based off that dataset you had helped me extract." The use of federal government data to assist a private political media operation is not a minor disclosure. It is a potential violation of the Privacy Act of 1974.

Coristine has also been involved, through the NDS, in the development of freedom.gov, a State Department-registered portal designed to give users in Europe access to content restricted under local law, including terrorist propaganda and hate speech. He announced its pending launch on X with the message "FREEDOM IS COMING."

Nate Brown, Chief Creative Officer

Nate Brown serves as Chief Creative Officer of the National Design Studio. His prior credential, as disclosed by Coristine in a March 2026 interview, is that he worked with Ye, formerly Kanye West, on the 2021 album Donda. No further public biography has been released by the NDS or the White House.

Elon Musk, Amy Gleason, and the DOGE Connection

The NDS did not emerge from a vacuum. It is the direct institutional successor to the culture and personnel of the Department of Government Efficiency. Elon Musk, senior advisor to President Trump and DOGE's de facto leader, is a named defendant in multiple federal lawsuits over unauthorized data access. Amy Gleason, DOGE's acting administrator, is also a defendant in the Social Security Administration case. Leland Dudek, the SSA's acting commissioner, and Michael Russo, the SSA's chief information officer, are additional defendants in that litigation. Charles Ezell, former director of the Office of Personnel Management, is named in the EFF-led OPM lawsuit. The same ecosystem of personnel, access, and institutional methodology that generated those lawsuits has now reconstituted itself inside the National Design Studio.

The Lawsuits

As of May 2026, at least a dozen federal lawsuits have been filed challenging DOGE's access to personal data. The legal foundation for most of them is the Privacy Act of 1974, which prohibits disclosure of federal records without individual written consent. Plaintiffs also cite the Administrative Procedure Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Federal Information Security Management Act, the Internal Revenue Code, the Tax Reform Act of 1976, and the separation of powers doctrine.

Key cases include:

Alliance for Retired Americans v. Bessent, No. 1:25-cv-00313 (D.D.C., filed February 3, 2025) sought to block DOGE access to Treasury Department databases containing bank account numbers and Social Security numbers.

AFL-CIO v. Department of Labor, No. 1:25-cv-00339 (D.D.C., filed February 5, 2025) sought to block DOGE access to Department of Labor databases.

New York v. Trump, No. 1:25-cv-01144 (S.D.N.Y., filed February 8, 2025), brought by 19 state attorneys general including California Attorney General Rob Bonta, alleged that DOGE's access to Treasury databases containing bank account and Social Security numbers was unlawful and sought an immediate halt.

EFF / Lex Lumina v. OPM (filed February 11, 2025), brought by the Electronic Frontier Foundation on behalf of 103 current and former federal workers, alleged that OPM gave DOGE operatives, many of them under 25 and former employees of Musk's private companies, administrative access to personnel records without national security vetting. Defendants named: Elon Musk, DOGE, OPM, and OPM Director Charles Ezell.

AFSCME v. Social Security Administration, No. 1:23-cv-00596 (D. Md., filed February 21, 2025, amended March 7, 2025), brought by AFSCME, the AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Teachers, and the Alliance for Retired Americans, alleged that DOGE operatives accessed private Social Security records including bank account numbers, health records, mental health records, wage histories, immigration status, and family court records without legal authority. In April 2025, U.S. District Judge Ellen Lipton Hollander granted a preliminary injunction blocking SSA and its agents from granting DOGE access to those systems.

In January 2026, the Department of Justice itself acknowledged misconduct by Trump administration and DOGE employees in unlawfully accessing and misusing Social Security data, according to filings in the D. Maryland court. Even as the Fourth Circuit later vacated the lower court's preliminary injunction on standing grounds in April 2026, the circuit's own Judge Toby Heytens described the whistleblower revelations about DOGE data misuse as "even more alarming" while denying relief.

The pattern across all these cases is consistent: private tech operatives, unvetted, unconfirmed, and unaccountable to Congress, entered federal data systems containing the personal information of hundreds of millions of Americans. Courts have alternately blocked and permitted that access. The data has already moved. The architecture has been altered. Edward Coristine, one of those operatives, now runs engineering at the National Design Studio.

The Money

The NDS has not disclosed a standalone budget. This is not an oversight. It is structural. Because the NDS was created by executive order and housed within the White House Office, its funding is folded into broader Executive Office of the President appropriations, which do not require the same line-item disclosure as agency budgets submitted to Congress. The American public has no mechanism to determine, from public sources, exactly how much is being spent to redesign the government's digital infrastructure under this initiative.

What is known: the federal government spent $75.1 billion on civilian IT in fiscal year 2025 and $67.9 billion in fiscal year 2026. The proposed FY2027 budget returns to $75.7 billion. The NDS's mandate to overhaul 27,000 government websites is folded into that broader IT modernization envelope, with no publicly disclosed NDS-specific line. In parallel, the Technology Modernization Fund, the traditional vehicle for agency IT upgrades, was zeroed out by House appropriators for the third consecutive year in September 2025.

The NDS has an active and disclosed vendor relationship with Salesforce, which published a co-promotion piece in Nextgov/FCW in December 2025 describing how its FedRAMP High-authorized Personalization product could support the NDS's goals of tracking user behavior across federal websites, increasing conversion rates for government applications, and delivering personalized content to individual Americans based on their interaction history with government systems. No contract value was disclosed. No competitive bidding process has been publicly documented.

Gebbia has said the NDS will ultimately staff approximately 30 people, 15 engineers and 15 designers. The NDS's stated mandate is a three-year term, set to expire in August 2028. The infrastructure those 30 people build will not expire with them.

The Goals, Stated and Unstated

The NDS's stated goals, as set out in Executive Order 14338 and on its public website americabydesign.gov, are the following:

Stated goals: Redesign federal websites and physical government spaces to improve usability and aesthetics. Standardize design across 27,000 federal domains. Modernize the U.S. Web Design System. Ensure compliance with the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act. Produce initial results by July 4, 2026, coinciding with the U.S. semiquincentennial. Deliver an experience comparable to Apple retail for interactions like passport renewal, tax filing, Social Security management, TSA processing, green card applications, national park reservations, and student loan repayment.

Those goals, taken at face value, are not unreasonable. Federal digital services are genuinely poor. The status quo harms vulnerable people who cannot complete basic government tasks online. Improvement is legitimate and necessary.

What the stated goals do not address: Who owns the data architecture that results from this redesign. What data is collected, retained, or shared as a result of a unified behavioral tracking system across all federal websites. What happens to the Salesforce personalization layer when a new administration takes office. Whether the private sector firms and individuals involved in building this infrastructure will have ongoing access to it. What legal constraints govern the NDS's data handling. Why Edward Coristine, a man fired from a cybersecurity internship for leaking data and linked to a cybercriminal network, is now Head of Engineering for this initiative.

The NDS website, ndstudio.gov, publishes case studies of its work. Among them: the rebuilding of retire.opm.gov, the federal employee retirement processing site, which the NDS says it transformed from a six-month wait process to near-instant processing. That is, without question, a genuine improvement for federal workers. It is also a system that now routes sensitive retirement and financial records through architecture designed by the same team that, in its prior incarnation, was found by a federal judge to have accessed those records without legal authority.

The Accountability Vacuum

The United States has no comprehensive federal data privacy law. The Privacy Act of 1974 was written before the internet existed. The patchwork of sector-specific statutes, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the Tax Reform Act, and others, creates gaps large enough to drive a redesigned federal website through. The NDS was built in one of those gaps.

The NDS reports to the White House Chief of Staff, not to Congress, not to an inspector general, not to a privacy officer with enforcement authority. The Chief Design Officer position was created by executive order and can be eliminated by executive order. The agency has a three-year sunset, but that sunset, as the executive order explicitly states, does not affect any authority or provision established under the order. The design standards, vendor contracts, data architecture, and behavioral tracking infrastructure the NDS builds will outlast the NDS itself.

No Senate confirmation was required for any NDS principal. No congressional hearing has been held on the agency's activities. No public accounting of its spending has been released. The agency has 28,000 followers on X. Most Americans have never heard its name.

What Must Happen

The following are not partisan positions. They are structural accountability requirements that would apply to any administration building this kind of infrastructure:

Congressional authorization and oversight. An agency with authority over the federal government's entire digital interface should not exist by executive order alone. Congress must hold hearings, establish legal parameters for the NDS's data handling authority, and subject its principals to Senate confirmation.

A standalone, publicly disclosed budget. Every dollar spent by the NDS on staff, vendors, and contracts must be disclosed in a public, searchable, line-item format. The current arrangement, folding NDS costs into broad EOP appropriations, is incompatible with democratic accountability.

Independent privacy oversight. The NDS must be subject to mandatory review by the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, the Government Accountability Office, and agency inspectors general. Vendor contracts involving behavioral data collection, including the Salesforce personalization engagement, must be published in full.

Personnel vetting requirements. No individual with a documented history of unauthorized data disclosure, links to criminal networks, or prior violations of federal access policies should hold a position with access to federal data systems. Edward Coristine should not be Head of Engineering at the National Design Studio. That this requires stating is itself a measure of how far accountability norms have eroded.

A federal data privacy law. The Privacy Act of 1974 is not adequate for the digital infrastructure being built in 2026. Congress must pass comprehensive federal privacy legislation that governs how the government itself collects, retains, shares, and protects citizen data across unified digital platforms.

Separation of commercial and government interests. Any individual serving in the NDS or advising it must be required to divest or place in blind trust any financial interest in companies that stand to benefit from federal contracts, data access, or the adoption of design standards they are helping to establish. The conflict of interest between Gebbia's Airbnb background and the NDS's mandate to redesign government platforms on a private sector model has not been addressed.

Conclusion

The National Design Studio is not a website refresh project. It is the construction of the interface between 330 million Americans and the government that governs them, built by unvetted private sector operatives, funded through opaque appropriations, supervised by no independent body, and staffed in part by a 20-year-old whose prior government career included being found by a federal judge to have accessed systems without legal authority.

The stated goal, making government digital services usable and beautiful, is legitimate. The method, handing it to a White House agency accountable to no one but the Chief of Staff, staffed by DOGE veterans named in active federal litigation, and funded without public disclosure, is not.

The question is not whether government websites should be improved. The question is whether the American people have consented to having the architecture of their relationship with their government redesigned in secret, by people with undisclosed financial interests, using data access that federal courts have repeatedly found to be unlawful.

They have not been asked. They should be.

The US ambassador to Israel has previously said Israel has the right to take over 'all' of the Middle East

Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel and a passionate advocate of its wars in the region, has told the people of Lebanon to be grateful for Israeli contributions to its society.

Video of Huckabee speaking at the Atlas Awards in Tel Aviv on 12 May is being shared online after it was picked up by Chris Menahan of the news site Information Liberation.

In the speech, Huckabee extolls the various purported Israeli contributions to society, including USB drives, cherry tomatoes and seedless watermelons.

"I wonder if everyone in Lebanon understands that if there were no Israel, they wouldn't have a cell phone," Huckabee said.

"I wonder if they understand that every time they use a USB, every time they use car navigation, that every time they eat a cherry tomato or have a delicious bite of seedless watermelon, instead of saying, 'I can't talk to those people,' they should step across the border, shake their hands and say, 'Thank you'."

Huckabee has also been an advocate of the US-Israeli war on Iran, which is currently at a stalemate, with Iran blocking off the critical energy chokepoint of the Strait of Hormuz.

Issues With Data Centers Include Power, Water, Land, Noise, Health, Revenue, Privacy, Local Economy; With Little Benefit To You

I reported on Data Centers starting with EO 14318 Accelerating Federal Permitting of Data Center Infrastructure (discussed in my July 24, 2025, July 7, 2026, and March 11, 2026 ANP Articles), and in my March 10, 2026 ANP Article where I addressed Proclamation 11014 Ratepayer Protection Pledge as well as the White House article President Trump Secures Historic Commitment to Keep Electricity Costs Down Amid Data Center Boom. The goal of the proclamation was

To remove consumer's concerns that the huge AI data centers being built will force rate increases upon normal consumers. These AI data center companies "guarantee" they will build, bring, or buy the resources for their electricity needs as well as pay for the new infrastructure necessary to deliver said power. In addition, these companies agree to invest in local communities and contribute to a more reliable grid overall in the community.

It does not look like the Ratepayer Protection Pledge has made an impact on the electricity use of Data Centers. Neighborhoods are seeing their utility rates going up already. Many are attempting to fight back against these data centers being established in their areas. The main problem is that residents are limited in their funds to legally battle against these huge operations that seem to have unlimited funding to fight, and ultimately win, legal battles (simply because they exhaust the resources of those fighting the battle).

A second issue with Data Centers water usage. Our own Bart's Bantering speaks of what is happening in Utah with data centers now wanting more of the nearby receding water supply (in the middle of a long-term drought no less). In 2017, James Hamilton, in his Perspectives Blog, identified Water Consumption as an unaddressed Data Center issue (image above). On October 17, 2025, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy investigated power and water use by existing Data Centers and found a mid-sized Data Center consumes as much water as a small town and larger ones consume as much as a city of 50,000 people. Newer AI centers use as much electricity as 100,000 homes (or more). The Data Center planned for Wyoming will use more electricity than every home in the state combined. A study by Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) and the University of Houston say Data Centers in Texas will use 399 billion gallons of water by 2030. This would be the equivalent of dropping the water level in Lake Mead by more than 16 feet a year. And that's just the data centers in Texas.

Why do Data Centers need water? They use evaporative cooling (which uses water) because it is cheaper than using air conditioning. What about reclaimed or recycled water? That water used to go back into the water supply. If Data Centers claim that water for their evaporative cooling needs, the water will not be returned to the municipal water supply causing many issues. For example, removing water from rivers or lakes but not returning reclaimed or recycled water leaves behind high concentrations of salts and other contaminants.

There are alternatives to the water issue. For example, closed-loop water systems (which the Bellagio Fountain uses in Las Vegas) but these require more electricity. Then there is immersion cooling where the item is fully submerged in liquid, like synthetic oil, which removes the heat but not the electricity. This solution is very expensive and, of course, Data Centers want to operate on the least amount of costs possible. So, taking your water is the least expensive option for them but the most devastating option for We The People. Up to 43% of the largest Data Centers are located in areas that have been experiencing extreme water stress (drought).

Data Center operators are reticent about giving specific numbers about how much electricity and water their centers consume. The only way to know for sure is to watch the water table in your area; however, by the time the true consumption numbers are known, the damage is already done. Google reported it used more than 5 billion gallons of water in 2023 and acknowledging 31% of that came from medium or high water scarcity watersheds.

It is profoundly puzzling: The television allows people into your house that you would never ever invite through your front door. What was it we heard years ago, something about "draining the swamp?" If the swamp was drained it appears it filled back up with the same old sewage and the stench is horrible. It's not about politics. It's about greed, money and power. The real question here is what is the solution to the intractable decadence, lust for power and greed going on in Washington? Create new institutions and work arounds and stop contracting with these people. Refuse the offer. It's to the point now that the only way to clean house in Washington DC is with a flamethrower.

The American column was ripped apart at close range in a devastating L-shaped kill zone as communications collapsed, officers were killed, and isolated groups of soldiers averaging between 19 and 22 years old fought desperately for survival. More than 150 Americans died in a single day with 121 wounded. The battlefield became a horrifying symbol of confusion, poor planning, and command failure. The leadership surrounding the disaster, including Lieutenant Colonel Robert McDade, who reportedly had not led men in combat for over a decade before Vietnam. Far from "defending freedom," the US Military is advancing the world government agenda of the central banking cartel and perpetuating a trillion dollar boondoggle. Gratuitous murder, maiming and mayhem serve as the Cabalist bankers' tribute to Satan. All wars are their wars against humanity whom they must enslave to protect their fraudulent credit monopoly and fulfil Cabalist prophecy.

Why are so many Americans willing to lay down their lives for such a dubious cause, yet none are willing to sacrifice to truly liberate the US from warmongering politicians who are prepping for new wars against Syria, Iran, Russia and China?

The times they are a changing. After posting a video of a young recruit talking about how service allows him to better himself "as a man and a warrior", the US Army tweeted, "How has serving impacted you?" Caitlin Johnstone compiled typical responses which conveyed the horror of war and stripped military service of its glamour.

Tweet after tweet after tweet, people used the opportunity that the Army had inadvertently given them to describe how they or their loved one had been chewed up and spit out by a war machine that never cared about them.

British politician David Kurten, leader of the Heritage Party, joined Daniel Forsius from the Swedish independent media outlet News Voice to discuss the escalating crisis in the UK.

From people being jailed for protests against migration crimes and social media posts, to the King's Speech pushing digital ID, and the growing resistance with massive protests – Britain is being used as a test project for global control.

"There's a lot of agitation in the UK at the moment among the people because they realise the Government is acting against the people, they’re not for the people,” Kurten said.

It's not only in the UK. "I think all of the governments are working in lockstep together because [they all have an allegiance] to the World Economic Forum and the powers that be and the global cabal,” he said. "And at one point or another, some nations are pushing forward the agenda faster in some areas than others, and other times its other nations that are pushing forward."

"But, I think at the moment, the UK is being used to push forward with the digital ID … but they’re also doing the same thing in Australia, New Zealand and Canada as well, it seems the English-speaking countries are being used at this very moment in time to push forward that part of the agenda."

It's not only the digital ID that the global cabal is trying to impose on nations. "I feel like I'm fighting 20 different battles all at the same time and they manifest in different nations at different times."
