पर्यावरण दिवस

मानव और प्रकृति का संबंध अनादिकाल से चला आ रहा है। दोनों एक दूसरे पर अवलंबित हैं। तथा एक दूसरे के पोषक हैं। वृक्ष प्रकृति के अनुपम उपहार हैं। वृक्ष अपने संरक्षण के लिए मनुष्य पर आधारित हैं, तो मनुष्य अनेक वस्तुओं के लिए वृक्षों पर।

पर्यावरण दिवस कब मनाया जाता है?

पर्यावरण दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 5 जून को मनाया जाता है। इसकी स्थापना संयुक्त राष्ट्रीय महासभा द्वारा सन् 1972 में की गई। मानव पर्यावरण पर स्टॉकहोम सम्मेलन के पहले दिन, जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप मानव बातचीत और पर्यावरण के एकीकरण पर चर्चा हुई और सन् 1974 में "ओन्ली वन अर्थ" थीम के साथ प्रथम पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया गया और 1974 के बाद से यह प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाता है।

पर्यावरण दिवस क्यों मनाया जाता है?

आज बढ़ती जनसंख्या के कारण आवास की समस्या को हल करने तथा औद्योगिक इकाइयों को स्थापित करने के लिए वनों की कटाई की जा रही है। जिसके कारण प्रदूषण बढ़ता जा रहा है और यह एक मुख्य कारण है जिसके फलस्वरूप पर्यावरण प्रदूषित होता जा रहा है।

वर्षा अनिश्चित हो गई है। भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति में लगातार कमी होती जा रही है। तथा जीव जंतु की अनेक दुर्लभ प्रजातियां विनाश की कगार पर हैं। अनेक प्रकार की उपयोगी औषधियां अब दुर्बल हो गई हैं। वृक्षों की कटाई के कारण ही आज रेगिस्तान का प्रसार होता जा रहा है। तथा जीने के लिए आवश्यक से दवाइयों का नितांत अभाव हो गया है।

पर्यावरण का अर्थ:-

यदि हम पर्यावरण शब्द का संधि विच्छेद करते हैं।

यथाः

परि + आवरण = पर्यावरण

परि का अर्थ होता है - चारों ओर से,

आवरण का मतलब होता है - ढका हुआ

अर्थात चारों ओर से घिरे आवरण को पर्यावरण कहते हैं।

महत्व:-

पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूकता।
वृक्ष प्रकृति के अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण अंग है। वृक्षों ने मानव सभ्यता और मानवता को सदैव सहायता पहुंचाई है इसलिए मानव का कर्तव्य है कि वृक्षों की कटाई पर अंकुश लगाए और वृक्षों का संरक्षण करें।

फिर भी यदि जितने वृक्ष काटे जाएं, उसी अनुपात में नए वृक्ष भी लगा दिए जाएं तो स्थिति इतनी भयानक नहीं रहेगी।
अतः प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य है कि वह अधिक से अधिक वृक्ष लगाए।

विशेष:-

परंतु आज हम एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या से गुजर रहे हैं जिसका कारण कोरोना वायरस है, परंतु इसकी वजह से प्रकृति में इसके सकारात्मक परिवर्तन देखने को मिल रहे हैं। मनुष्य घर पर ही बैठा है, वाहनों का उपयोग बंद है जिसकी वजह से वायु शुद्ध हो गई है और भी अनेक उदाहरण हैं।

और हम इस स्थिति से भी सीख सकते हैं कि जिस तरह हम 3 महीने तक घर में रह सकते हैं क्या हम उसी तरह प्रत्येक वर्ष केवल एक-दो माह वाहनों का उपयोग ना करें। जिससे हम अपने पर्यावरण और भविष्य दोनों को सुरक्षित कर सकते हैं।

Basic Geometry

Point

A point has no length or breadth. It is an exact location in space.

Line

A line has no end point. It is of infinite length we cannot draw a line on paper but it represent by a diagram.

Line sagment

A line sagment has two end point. It has a fixed length.

Ray

A Ray has one fixed starting point but no end point.

Plane

A plane is concept which can only be visualized by any level surface like table top, floor of room etc. All these surface have edge wheres a plane stretches endlessly on all sides like a line.

Curved Line

Curves are everything which you draw without lifting the pencil from the paper.

Angle

A figure consisting of two rays with common initial point is called an angle.

Acute Angle

Those Angles which are less than 90° is called Acute Angles (like: 1°,15°,25°,60°,80°...89°)

Right Angle

Angle of 90° is called Right Angle.

Obtuse Angle

Angle greater than 90° & less than 180° is called Obtuse Angle. (like: 95°,120°,...179°)

Straight Angle

Angle of 180° is called Straight Angle.

Reflex Angle

Angle which is greater than 180° and less than 360° is known as reflex angle(like:181°,....359°)

Relation b/w two Angles

Complementary Angles

If the sum of two angels is equal to 90° which are called Complementary Angles.

Eg. 35°&55° , 45°&45°, 60°&30°, etc.

Supplementary Angles

If sum of two angles is equal to the 180° which are called Supplementary Angles.

Eg. 120°&60°, 160°&20°, etc.

Vertically opposite angles

When two lines intersect each other then angles formed are known as vertically opposite angles.

Parallel lines

Lines which do not intersect Each Other are known as parallel lines. Distance between two Parallel Lines always remains constant. Denoted by AB||CD.

Transverse line

A line which cuts any two or more than two lines if a transversal line cuts two Parallel Lines, then

Sum of three angles of a triangle is,

Types of Triangle:-

On the Basis of sides

I) Equilateral triangle :- A triangle having all sides are equal.

AB = BC = CA

II) Isosceles triangle :- A triangle having only two sides are equal.

AC = CB

III) Scalene triangle :- A Triangle having no equal sides.

AB ≠ BC ≠ CA

On the Basis of Angles

I) Right Angle Triangle :- A Triangle in which one angle is 90°.

II) Acute Angle Triangle :- A Triangle in which all angle less than 90°.

III) Obtuse Angle Triangle :- A Triangle in which only one angle is greater than 90°.

Quadrilateral

It is surrounded by four sides is called quadrilateral.
Any four sides closed figure is called Quadrilateral.
The sum of the angles of a quadrilateral is 360°.

Rectangle

A four sides closed figure whose opposite sides are equal.
Each angle 90°(Right Angle)

Square

A four sides closed figure whose all sides are equal.
Each angle 90°(Right Angle)

Parallelogram

Parallelogram have both pair of opposite sides are parallel.
All sides not equal.
Any angle ≠ 90°.

Rhombus

A parallelogram in which all sides are equal.
Any angle ≠ 90°

Trapezium

A quadrilateral, in which only one pair of opposite side is parallel.

Circle

A closed figure in a plane which shows the path traced by moving about a point from a fixed point is called circle.
Fixed point is called Centre of circle.

Radius

The straight line joining the centre and circle is called radius.

Diameter

Straight line which passes through the centre and joining the circumference from both sides.

Circumference

The distance measured along a circle is called its circumference.

Weiss Theory

Weiss introduced the idea of domains of molecules.

According to Weiss Theory a ferro-magnetic substance contain atom with permanent magnetic moment as in a peramagnetic substance.

But due to special form of an interaction between adjacent atoms their exist strong force between neighbour atomic dipole which causes groups of them such that all atomic dipole of a group point in the same direction such as groups are called Domain and their size varies from 10^(-6)cm³ to 10^(-2)cm³.

Thus, every domain is magnetically saturated and the direction of magnetisation in different Domain is different.

When a ferro-magnetic substance is in unmagnetised state the magnetisation vector in different Domain are oriented in different direction such that the resultant magnetisation is zero when the the temperature of ferromagnetic substance is raise above Curie point the coupling suddenly disappear and the material becomes paramagnetic.

In passing from one Domain adjacent one the atomic magnetized vector gradually rotate from its original to it new direction over thickness of about thousand atomic dimension while the domain themselves have dimension of order of 10th of a millimetre the region between two domains is called Domain Wall.

When a magnetic field is applied the substance is magnetized and hence it is is necessary that some of magnetisation vector in Domain must align parallel to the applied field.

When the magnetising field is weak the magnetic polarization of the simple changes as a result of of motion of domain walls. In this process domain are whose Axis are are parallel or at a small angle with the field grow at the expenses of those which are unfavorably oriented.

This group is reversible as long as the field is very small if we turn the field of the magnetisation will return to zero.

This part of magnetization is not continuous process but it takes place in series of infinite small discrete steps because of the irregularities in crystal structure which might be due to strain, impurities, dirt and imperfections.

This can be shown by inserting the sample in a coil connected to an amplifier and loudspeaker if the failed surrounding the speaker is slowly increased individual clicks are heard in a speaker which represent small discrete flux increment. This is know as "Bark's Hussain effect".

ठोसों को बैंड सिद्धांत के आधार पर चालकों, कुचालकों तथा अर्धचालकों में विभेद किया जा सकता है तथा विभिन्न ठोसों की विद्युत चालकता में अंतर उनके संयोजी बैंड तथा चालन बैंड तथा उनके मध्य ऊर्जा अंतराल के आधार पर किया जाता है जब संयोजी बैंड से इलेक्ट्रॉन चालन बैंड में जाते हैं तो ठोस में विद्युत प्रवाहित होती हैै।

चालक :- चालक में संयोजी बैंड तथा चालन बैंड एक दूसरे पर अतिव्यापित होते हैं या कहें कि चालन बैंड तथा संयोजी बैंड के बीच ऊर्जा अंतराल नहीं होता है।

ऊर्जा के अतिव्यापित भाग के इलेक्ट्रॉन को चालन इलेक्ट्रॉन कहते हैं क्योंकि चालन इलेक्ट्रॉन की संख्या बहुत अधिक होती है जिससे वह विद्युत के सुचालक होते हैं।

चालक अचालक अर्द्धचालक

कुचालक :- कुचालक में संयोजी बैंड इलेक्ट्रॉन से पूर्ण पूरित होते हैं तथा चालन बैंड रिक्त होते हैं, जिनमें संयोजी बैंड तथा चालन बैंड के मध्य उर्जा अंतराल का मान 3ev से अधिक होता है।

कुचालक में धारा तभी प्रवाहित हो सकती है जब संयोजी बैंड से इलेक्ट्रॉन चालन बैंड में गति करें परंतु कमरे के ताप पर संयोजी बैंड की ऊर्जा लगभग नगण्य होती हैै।

यह ऊर्जा वर्जित अंतराल की तुलना में बहुत कम होती है इस कारण संयोजी बैंड के इलेक्ट्रॉन चालन बैंड तक नहीं पहुंच पाते इसी के कारण कुचालक में विद्युत धारा प्रवाहित नहीं हो पाती है।

अर्ध्दचालक :- अर्धचालक वे पदार्थ होते हैं जिनमें ऊर्जा अंतराल का मान कुचालकों से कम किंतु चालकों से अधिक होता है अर्थात,

ऊर्जा अंतराल < 3ev

(जो कि कुचालकों में पाए जाने वाले ऊर्जा अंतराल से कम है)

परम शून्य ताप पर इन पदार्थों की संयोजी इलेक्ट्रॉन संयोजी बैंड में ही रहते हैं इस कारण कोई मुक्त इलेक्ट्रॉन विद्यमान नहीं होने के कारण इस अवस्था में यह पदार्थ कुचालक की भांति व्यवहार करते हैं अर्थात परम शून्य ताप पर इनकी चालकता शून्य होती है।

अर्धचालक का प्रतिरोध उतना अधिक नहीं होता जितना विद्युतरोधी पदार्थों का होता है लेकिन सामान्य ताप पर संयोजी बैंड के इलेक्ट्रॉन इतनी उर्जा प्राप्त कर लेते हैं कि वे चालन बैंड में पहुंच जाएं क्योंकि इन पदार्थों का ऊर्जा अंतराल कम होने के कारण संयोजी बैंड के इलेक्ट्रॉन जल्द ही मुक्त इलेक्ट्रॉन की भांति व्यवहार करने लगते हैं अतः सामान्य ताप पर ये पदार्थ चालक की तरह व्यवहार करने लगते हैं ।

परम शून्य ताप पर कुचालक तथा सामान्य ताप पर चालक की भांति व्यवहार करने के कारण इन्हें अर्धचालक कहते हैं।

About the earth

The earth is the home of all living things. In fact, it is the only planet in the solar system that can support life. This is so because it has air and water.

The earth is shaped like an orange, round in shape but flattened slightly at the poles. Ferdinand Magellan was the first one to prove it.

It was further confirmed by the photographs taken by astronauts.

Earth's Surface

71% of the earth's surface is covered with water and the rest is land . This is the reason why the earth looks like blue from space. Hence , it is called "Blue planet" . The large water bodies are called oceans and continents. In all, there are five oceans and seven continents.
The five main oceans are the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic ocean, and the Southern ocean.
The Pacific Ocean is the largest and the Arctic is the smallest ocean. The Pacific Ocean is larger than all of the earth's land area combined.
The seven continents are Asia, Africa, Australia ,Antarctica, Europe, North America and south America.
Of these , Asia is the largest and Australia is the smallest continent.

Intensity of magnetisation ---The magnetic dipole moment produce per unit volume is known as intensity of magnetisation. It is denote by I and unit is A/m.
Relative permeability ---It is define as the ratio of magnetic field in medium to the magnetic field in free space. "The relative permeability is also define as the ratio of absolute permeability in medium to the absolute permeability in free space.
Magnetic susceptibility ---Magnetic susceptibility of substance is define as the ratio of intensity of magnetisation to the magnetic intensity. It is unitless and dimensionless quantity.
