In the early days starting through our church’s sanctuary then moving to the fellowship hall we heard some good tunes and some not so good. Thankfully, we eventually upgraded our sound system and sought to continually improve it.
First and foremost we sought the Burning Bush Cafe to not just be a venue, because there are plenty of those, but to be a ministry and service to the community through sharing positive music and the transformation of faith in our lives. We have a had some tough conversations about life that is really needed for this generation, and prayed for you all in earnest for life’s challenges. We are thankful for any and all the bands that shared their faith with the crowd, as sometimes that can be intimidating, but they did it because they knew it was the most real thing that they could share.
From Spoken to Oh Constantine and all the bands in between, we love all of you guys and hope that your lives will be continually blessed. Burning Bush would not have happened without you and thank you for putting up with our scheduling.
As Ablaze Youth Ministry rethinks it’s impact in our community and re-evaluates it’s available resources, we have decided that Burning Bush Cafe will be cancelled indefinitely. As you know youth ministries constantly evolve for the new generation of youth that flow through their programs. We will give no false hope and say that will put it on hold, we can only say that BBC had a GREAT Run and hope to see more GREAT things from Ablaze Youth in the future.

There are no hard feelings. Our lives are just moving other directions and we decided it’s time to move forward. The thing that has been most important to this band over the last 5 years is the relationships we’ve formed in the scene. You guys are incredible and have made the last 5 years probably the best years of our lives thus far.

We would love to share this last show with you. Come hang out with us one last time.”
