My Transplanted Kidney is a Year old Today

I am grateful to God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth for Life, Provision, Protection, Love and all the beautiful and great things He has done for me throughout my lifetime and for giving me an extra lease on life for a whole year now. Had a kidney transplant this day 2010 in Mumbai, India, and here I am well, strong, healthy and whole. I give God all the Glory!

I thank all and sundry who contributed prayers, attention, love, care, skills and finances into my treatment and eventual transplant. I am grateful and May God bless you and all that is yours forever. Amen.

The Loss ...

It cant be ignored can it? the loss of our appreciated acts like C D John gets to me so much like I know these guys personally. I cant really point out why these things happen but we all know we will die at some point but i would advise our young celebrities to take more care when they are "off stage" or back to "real life" as they also need to understand that their fans love them and when such things happen, it could really break hearts. I thought Dagrin's death touched me but I know I felt this one a lot more as I happened to be home (Nigeria) when this happened. R.I.P C D John. May Almighty God continue to protect all the rest of you (public figures). Most importantly, realize that your talents and gifts are God given so please take Him seriously and put Him first in all you do. God Bless you all, and God Bless Nigeria.

The Blonde and the Lawyer

A blonde and a Lawyer are sitting next to each other on a flight from Los Angeles to New York. The Lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game.

The blonde, who’s tired, just wants to take a nap. She politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists and explains, “I ask a question, if you don’t know the answer, you pay me $5 and vice-versa.” Again the blonde declines and tries to get some sleep.

The Lawyer, now agitated, says, “Okay, if you don’t know the answer you pay me $5 but if I don’t know the answer, I’ll pay you $500!”

Well, this catches the blonde’s attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game. The Lawyer asks the first question: “What’s the distance from the earth to the moon?” The blonde doesn’t say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5 bill, and hands it to the Lawyer.

“Okay”, says the lawyer, “your turn”. She asks the lawyer, “What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?” The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references. No answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the net and the Library of Congress. No answer. Frustrated, he sends mails to all his friends and colleagues, but to no avail.

After an hour, he wakes up the blonde and hands her $500. The blonde says, “Thank you” and turns back to get some more sleep. The lawyer, who is now more than a little miffed, wakes up the blonde and asks,

“Well, what’s the answer?” Without saying a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.

ITS 2011!

So you've got resolutions for this year too right? You bet? well not me! Akinzo has only one thing to do this year: CHANGE MY THINKING! You ask why? You've heard it over and over again and again. AS A MAN THINKS SO IS HE! Went through some of my old stuff and found some thoughts i had written down a year ago and 9 out of 10 were dead on accurate, from getting a transplant this year, to the home i live in, to my relationship with Mrs...and guess what? the last one that wasn't dead on accurate was because i thought of having a car worth at least 1m but after i got one, it got stolen from Mrs at gun point (Glory to God for Life), so we got another. It wasn't accurate because we got 2 instead of 1. Discovering this, i concentrated my thoughts on something New to try out again! And of course it worked: My company ConceptAdz TM is LIVE!!! and we are ready to GO! So what am I saying? THINK IT BELIEVE IT AND BE IT...YOU CAN!
