Yup its true, at WWDC (WorldWide Developers Conference) Apple finally release the new iPhone and its iPhone 4, remember its iPhone 4 NOT iPhone 4G. With OS 4, this iPhone 4 have a lot of change.

From the design, we can see its much better from the previous iPhone (3GS and 3G), herewith the change that Apple made for iPhone 4 :

9.3mm thickness, thinner than the iPhone 3GS and Steve Jobs called it the thinnest smartphones today.

Using A4 processor same as iPad
Screen resolution is far higher than the previous generation with a 960x640 pixels. Pixel density was also better with the number 326 pixels per inch.
iPhone have 2 build-in camera, one in front and one behind, with an additional camera on the back has an LED flash. With a 5 Megapixel a resolution also has a 5x digital zoom capability and Illumination to fix the sensor backside. For video, the camera can capture up to 720p at 30 fps.
With OS 4, its sure have alot of change, let me reviews it about OS 4 in the different posting :)
Previous generation iPhone 3GS uses only accelerometer, but now Apple adding gyroscope sensor on the iPhone 4. This means that the iPhone 4 will be able to detect three-axis movement.

With the new Look and the new flatform, i think its worted to try, i dunno the prise in each your country but i believe you will buy it if have a lot cash :D :D

A couple month ago my friend recommended a game to me at Apps Store, Angry Bird. I ask her why she like this game, i think this game for a kid like rollando or maybe other kids games, but she says its funny. Well i little bit curious to try this games and she right..!!!! This game is funny and its made me curious to have a perfect score :D

This game base a story about a bird who try to eliminate a Pig, Yup a pig hehhehehehe. There are a group a pig separated by a wall of wood, ice or even a rock, and our dutty to eliminate all the pig. We using the bird to fly and we must pointed right to the structure using a catapuls, so the bird can fly away to the pig ^^

Its funny u know, we using the bird and we using catapult to make them fly. There a a different bird, we can using a bird that can make an eggs to a bomb, etc. Different bird according to certain level.

U can try it at Apple store for a lite version, and u can buy it if u wanna try a more challenge of this game :)

App Review : MovReak

Yup this is an application call MovReak, its stand for MOVie fREAK. Its an application for reviews and see upcoming movie at theather in Indonesia, yes its Only support in Indonesia because this is new Apps and the creator from Indonesia. But in the future, I think its will support for other country :)

For Movie Maniac, I think this apps quite useful because its show Us all movie list in all Theater/Cinema in Indonesia. We can see the schedule, can see the reviews about selected movie, and also we can see all Theaters who played the movie.

This Apps support in Bahasa Indonesia and also in English. Quite simple and easy to use, for movie freak in Indonesia, I think you shuold try this apps, because is contain schedule of all theaters in Indonesia, usually we only can see the schedule for their website, but in this Apps, we just open it and we see all theater schedule :)

iTunes For Dummies Part II

After the previous posts described using the iTunes Library side, so here I will try to explain using the side of the iTunes Store:)

Store

iTunes Store

Here contains all the applications, games, music and videos being sold by Apple. Indeed Apple is like making one stop shopping for their application, customers could only access to their sites via the internet through itunes or via the web.

At the iTunes Store, there are some applications that are Free (YM!, Facebook, etc.), there is a Free Lite (meaning we can download for free but in a certain time or a certain level in the game, we are given the option to purchase the full version), who have also paid:). But first we should make an ID on the iTunes store, there is an ID that using Credit Card or CC, there also does not require a credit card.

Just read my post about creating iTunes Store ID without Credit Card HERE. Remember that every download anything from the iTunes Store, always doing Authorize and Sign In its on iTunes, click Store Menu --> Sign In. To Authorize just click menu Store --> Authorize:)

Maybe there are some who have not quite know how to use iTunes, and many are asking how to use iTunes, how to put games / applications or even enter the music or photos into their iTouch. Actually this is very easy to use iTunes, it all depends how we want to try to read the Manual of iTunes and try it for yourself. But still many among us who wants instant without wanting to try it for yourself.Well here I am trying to tell more about using iTunes version 9.0.3 for some global thing:)

iTunes consists of several points

    * Library
    * Store
    * Devices
    * Shared
    * Genius
    * Playlists

Library

This library serves as a place to store files that will be entered into our iTouch, the file is the Music, videos, applicatin / games, and video clips.
Position for Library Applications / games on our PC, located in MyDocument -> MyMusic -> iTunes -> iTunes Media -> Mobile Applications.
To add files to the ipod touch, just by drag & drop the file into iTunes Library or can by selecting the Add File to Library in the file like the following picture :

The file will be entered in accordance with the specifications, if you put the MP3 file will go into the music and if you put the files. Ipa (applications / games) you will get into the applications, so even with the MP4 files will go into the movie.
To make the Artwork or the cover picture album / song that is in our iTouch is so easy, you just right click on one of his songs, then Get Info, there is a part Artwork, just input the selected album covers, a result like the picture below:)

For Games and Applications will be automatically entered into the Application. Here are not separated so that all games and applications it collects in accordance Alphabet:) Here are shown several games and applications that exist in my iTunes library:)

That is, quite simple right? I'll try to explain in Part II of using the iTunes Store:)

New iPhone OS 4.0

Apple just announced on April 8 that the new Firmware 4.0 will be release at this Summer for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and the second- and third-generation iPod touch and with iPad in the fall.

Whats new on this Firmware?? Well i think its have lot of change, not like 3.1.3 that have a minor change, its same as 3.1.2 although maybe its make the battery more Efficient.

Howto Know Your iPod Touch Model

A friend asked how he knew about his iPod Touch warranty, until when will guarantee applies. This fact can be known immediately when making a purchase or perhaps when we buy from other people we can find out directly from the Apple website. I try to explain about how to check warranty status of your iPod Touch.

Here's how to find your iPod Touch warranty :

1. Simply access the Apple website

2. Log into the Support -> Service and Repair.

3. Enter the serial number of your iPod and then select the country of origin was purchased ipod. IPod's serial number can be found in your iPod Touch, Settings ---> General ---> About ---> Serial Number.

4. After following the above steps, it will show information from your iPod Touch with its serial number.

5. Click More Information on the Covered Limited Warranty to see detailed information regarding warranty iPod Touch.

IPod Touch games that require precision in the play may be many, one of them is The Trooper. This game is very interesting, from the look and the music sounds when played. Glance may seem very easy, but once you play it will be more interested and perhaps you will say that this game requires more accuracy:)

Simple animation game this Quattromedia production, does not make this game less attractive, precisely because of the simplicity of it, this game became more enjoyable to play. If we only want the games or applications for free, simply create a free account only. By doing the registration on the iTunes Store, then we can download a free application or game. Here I will explain about the registration on the iTunes Store account without a credit card.

The first thing to do is verify that your email address has not been registered in the registration of the iTunes Store, if it already exists, then you must create a new email first. If you've done, then follow these steps:

Select an application or game for free from the iTunes Store, of course, must go through iTunes on your PC. Here I will try to take FileAid applications. Click the Get Apps button

iPod Touch ProtectiveCase

Protective case for iPod Touch is very important and very useful to protect your ipod from the friction as well as fall. I also use it to protect from friction when taken anywhere. Here I use a silicone case, and bags made from jeans that can be hung on the belt pants.

I use these bags to make it easier for me when using the ipod touch, so no longer need to be stored in a pants pocket and not bothered enough to move freely. Simply take the ipod touch from the bag and can be used directly =)

Why do I use the case of silicon? Because of its flexible and does not reduce its thin, so very fitting for your ipod. I do not recommend to use the existing case as a magnetic flap, because the magnet will damage the components inside your ipod touch, its influence will gradually felt more because of the effect of the magnetic field itself.

So more careful in choosing protective case for your ipod touch, must not choose and do not see a good model, but look at the function when you attach it to the ipod touch.

I recommend also to use the screen protection, it really helps to keep the screen remain smooth and protected from scratches, ipod touch screen relies upon, because the touch system is running, if there are scratches the screen, the touchscreen capabilities will be reduced.

Cooking Mama is a game about cooking from Taito, Cooking Mama now be played on your iPhone or iPod Touch. This game tells our efforts to cook, along with a variety of recipes that we can try. Some of the advantages is played on the iPod / iPhone for this game using the motion sensor from the iPod:)

This game may look normal if you read the name of the game, Poker, but that makes this game unusual is how to play, by shaking your iPod touch, then the 3 dice that appear on the screen in motion when we shake ipod touch. Did it make the game so interesting?

How to Using Cyder for iPod Touch

Cyder is a program used to install and add new repo from cydia into your ipod touch, we usually perform the update repo and look for 3rd party software from cydia should have a wifi connection, but some people may not have a wifi connection to do the update, or even some lazy to find a free hotspot.

Cyder is very useful to perform these tasks, because these programs do not need a wifi connection to perform the update from cydia, so we just need a connection from pc to your ipod touch using a usb cable ipod touch. But of course your ipod touch should be in a state Jailbreak, here I will not discuss about the Jailbreak process, you can find on google about the jailbreak process.

This Cyder I explained in my blog before, but here I will try to explain it in English.

The process is quite easy, you can download these programs on the Internet, and you can immediately use the program, and of course your iPod Touch must be connected to pc using usb cable iPod touch.Here I will try to explain the steps:

Make sure the USB is connected to a PC iPod.
Go to the icon Synchronization, which is the third icon on the left, press the Arrow sign IPOD -> PC to download the package from Cydia to your Cyder.
Then select the Settings icon, the bottom and check "Refresh sources at startup", then exit and restart his Cyder programs. Now Cyder has ready to use. Views cyder will be 4 big icons on the left:

   * Source, the form of a working Globe icon to add or remove a source or repository in our ipod
     * Package, a book with Signs Icon X
     * Syncronatization
     * Setting

Below is a form of Source Cyder in our iPod, if you want to add a new Source or Repo, just add the repo in the box below and click the PLUS sign and OK:) Later will be reloading by itself.

Package with a big X mark icon functions to find the program in Cydia, can be sorted by category or we sort it all down to find what we seek, or can also use the Search facility provided under the Package box. If you have then click on the image HARDISK lived below to download the package =)

The next icon is Synchronization. Here serves to synchronize the program or repo that we have or we add the download before, from the PC to the iPod and from iPod to PC.

Look at the picture above for an explanation below, there are 3 box above :

Local Cache : In this box are stored programs that have been downloaded in the Package, here I try to download the IPRC Zoo Theme, Ac milan and the Spongebob theme.
Cydia Cache : Same as Autoinstaller Folder
Autoinstaller Folder : Programs that have been downloaded, posted on the Local Cache must be included in this box, just click the Green Arrow into this box, if it can not be included, let loose and plug back the USB cable from iPod to PC and then try again.

If the program has entered into AutoInstaller Folder, then the next step Click the Arrow PC -> IPOD.

If completed 100%, then restart your iPod and see if it has entered into your ipod? =) Try respering on your ipod SBSetting to see the changes.

That's how to use Cyder program, a program that allows you to download the program and enter a new repo into our Cydia ipod without using WiFi connections =)

Ad-Hoc Wireless PC to iPod Touch part 2

Once described in the previous post about the ad-hoc settings in your pc, so now I will explain ad-hoc settings on your ipod touch.This is the second session of the ad-hoc connection.

Session 2

1. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi
2. Enable Wi-Fi, and then see what you made earlier if it works? Here ad-hoc connection that I made earlier has appeared with the name iPod Bengkyo.

3. Then click the blue arrow to do initial settings

4. Select Ip Address Static
5. Enter the IP address iPod with the same network with a PC, the previous PC IP 192.168.0.1, then your ipod IP 192.168.0.2
6. Subnet Mask as 255.255.255.0
7. IP Router is the IP your PC, which is 192.168.0.1
8. IP DNS is the IP DNS server of your Internet provider, input all the IP that looks at the DNS server information.

9. After all settings are configured, then try connecting with the wireless PC in the network are listed in your iPod

This proves I've enjoy browsing through the ipod to Apple.com

Ad-Hoc Wireless PC to iPod Touch part 1

There are several ways you can do to make our pc or laptop to make an access point that will be used by wireless iPod Touch, this way is called the add-hoc connection between 2 devices that are similar or different, just make a few changes in the pc or iPod touch then you will have the AP in your house. Here I try to explain it in detail and will be divided into 2 sessions, the first session to the settings in your pc, and sessions 2 through setting in your iPod Touch.

Terms doing this settings, your pc or laptop must have a wireless card!

Session 1

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Sign in to Network Connections
3. Right click "Wireless Network Connection"
4. Click "Properties"
5. Click the "Wireless Networks" tab
6. Click the "Add"
7. Enter your network name that will be made in the "Network name (SSID)" box, I am here using the name iPod Bengkyo

8. Select "Shared" from the menu "Network Authentication"
9. Select "WEP" from the menu "Date Encryption"
10. Uncheck "The key is provided for me" box
11. Type in a 13 character password in the "Network key" box
12. Repeat back to the 13 passwords in the "Confirm network key" box
13. Check or select the "Computer-to-computer network" box
14. Click Ok

The following image is a description of the steps above:

-. Then still in the Wireless Network, select the General Tab

-. Then go into Internet Protocol (TCP IP) to determine the IP

-. Enter the private IP, eg 192.168.0.1, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
-. Enter its DNS servers, here take IP DNS server from the Internet provider you use, such as Speedy, IM2, Firtsmedia. How to know the IP of our DNS Provider? Just click 2x Image / Icon LAN Provider to you, go to the Support-> Details, then input.
-. If you have all followed, click OK

Then look at the Network List, whether the network we have made previously have been there? If so, then click connect it directly.

Now consider the LAN to your Internet Provider, and do the following :
-. Right-click and then click Properties, go to the Advanced
-.On the Internet Connection Sharing, Checklist Allow other network blah blah blah in order to share his connection.

Setting for your pc has been completed, the second session I will try to explain the iPod Touch's setting.

WinSCP for iPod Touch

WinSCP is an extremely useful tool in conducting transfer files between pc to pc or the pc to the iPod Touch. WinSCP uses a more secure SSH to connect. SSH stands for Secure Shell, which is a network protocol that allows us to transfer data between 2 different devices. For the iPod Touch using the free version of SSH is OpenSSH. The following image is a description of WinSCP

It's easy to run WinSCP, I often transfer files between pc and iPod Touch, and so far have not found it difficult at all, by running programs to fit the rules, then WinSCP can be used, only a few requirements that must be considered, namely:
1. There's wifi connection
2. OpenSSH application already exists in your iPod Touch

Finally with the efforts and hard work of saving, I can fulfill the desire to get the gadget of my dreams, that is ipod touch.

So far I used to listen to music through my laptop or phone, it's now starting to change while I decided to buy a new gadget, the ipod touch. A very good gadget, a full-featured, along with a wide screen and touch screen, the ability to play music, videos, and games.

In this blog I try to explain some ways that can be used to understand about the ipod touch, understanding of some additional software, some way to replace the existing themes, and some commonly used software.
