I must say that I do not particularly like clowns, the circus or the carnival in general.... I find all of these things to be a bit creepy.

Yesterday we got in a new collection from Imaginisce with all of these themes included in one.

                   No,   no,    not really,    actually I find this collection rather cute, and I can't wait to gather some pictures together to put on these papers!   

 So, with that said, I would love to know what you think of this collection yourself!

Good Morning! I hope that everyone is staying warm today... We have a cute Valentines card for you to make here in our warm shop for just $1.

Instructions for Page of The Week

What you need:

• one 12x12 print paper for the background
• one 12x3 piece of solid color cadstock (green)
• one 4 5/8x 7 7/8 solid cardstock (red)
• one 4 1/4x7solid cardstock (yellow)
• one 6 1/4x 4 1/4 solid cardstock (light blue border for picture)
• on solid cardstock tag size 4 5/8x 2 1/2 (light blue)
• one large brad (yellow) 
• eight buttons
• eight colorful cardstock flowers
• one 4x6 photo

What to do:

• Lay down printed paper
• Adhere the 12x3 solid cardstock on very right edge of page
• Overlap and adhere the solid cardstock pieces (red and yellow) to the upper half of exposed printed paper
• Adhere photo to border cardstock and center over the two other cardstock pieces
• Push brad through tag and adhere tag to bottom left of page
• Arrange and adhere flowers along right side of page
• Add buttons to center of flowers
• Use tag for journaling on 

We have finally made it back home from this years' CHA Trade show in L.A. The show was huge and GREAT new products were introduced!!! We cannot wait to bring in the NEW items to the store! I think that you will love the new collections and new SUPRISES coming ... We are sure excited to show you, but we aren't going to let out the secerets until they begin to arrive! I am having difficulties loading the February Schedule.... so what to do? Take a picture of course! Here are the classes being offered Thursdays through Saturdays in February. I will post the actual schedule ASAP! Sorry about the inconvenience... but we do have copies at the store for you to pick up as well.  :)

Tomorrow is already Wednesday! Don't forget about our $1 Make-N-Take... We will be making this cute little bookmark.

What you need:

• one 12x12 print paper for the background
• one 8x8 piece of paper with lines for journaling
• one 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 solid cardstock (I chose light blue with small polkadots)
• one 6x6 print paper (This one is a white in color with scratched and distressed looking edges)
• scrap cardstock for the word "JOY"
• one button
• one flower die cut with print on it
• 12 inch piece of circled felt ribbon (This is the green strip of funky ribbon near the bottom)
• 5 inch piece of ribbon
• 2 inch piece of yarn (to tie through button holes)
• one 4x6 photo

What to do:

• Lay down printed paper
• Center and adhere the 8x8 paper to the 12x12 piece
• Off-Center and adhere the solid cardstock to the lower right corner of the page approx. 1 1/2 inches away from the right side and 1 inch from the bottom
• Adhere the 6x6 printed paper almost to the right edge and about 2 inches from the bottom of the page
• Adhere photo on top of all of these papers about 2 1/4 inches from the right side and close to 3 inches from the bottom
• Add felt ribbon across the bottom of the page (1 inch from bottom)
• Add 5 inch piece of ribbon to top left corner of layout
• Tie knot with 1 inch piece of yarn through button
• Adhere button to top left cornor of photo
• Add title down journaling paper
• Add flower die cut to right side of photo
• Feel free to journal whatever you'd like on lower right of journaling paper

Our February Schedule is now complete! We will be offering some great classes next month (Kids Valentine class, Card Classes, Page Layouts, Year In Review, etc...). So don't forget to reserve your spot soon because space is limited! :)

Plus we will be having an Open House  Meet-N-Greet on the 12th, including an All Day Crop for just $10, prizes, Make-N-Take, raffles, fun and refreshments! So be sure to mark the calendar for Saturday, February 12th and sign-up today for the all day crop!

We just got in a shippment from We-R-Memory of thier new Peep collection! This is a pretty darn cute collection for Spring and Easter with lots of bunnies, lambs, chicks, eggs and flowers! We have the paper, $1 stamps, stickers, brads and more from this cute spring collection!

Hi everyone!

I want to thank all of you who have stopped in to meet me here at About Memories and More! I am excited for this new adventure, and have so many plans to bring to the store. I have already recieved my first shippment of FANTASTIC VALENTINES DAY paper and fun supplies! (If you love sparkles on paper, you will love this paper!!!) It is sooooo cute and would also be great for little girls, birthdays, parties and more!

I will do my best to keep up with the e-mails and blogs! Although, Kirsten set the bar pretty high for me to keep up with!

I cannot wait to meet all of you, and appreciate everyones support (and patience) while I learn everything and get a routine down! :)

that Krista is going to make a fine scrapbook store owner!  You should see the stuff she brought in this week...My Minds Eye, Little Yellow Bicycle, Karen Foster Designs?  Yeah, she's good!  She knows what's great product...and I'm sorry, but could she be any nicer? 

We'll post the Wednesday Make-n-Take tomorrow...we have to give the girl a break...she's been busy, busy, busy!  Hope you'll stop in & meet Krista...do the make-n-take...do a little shopping, too!

Inventory was much quicker than we had anticipated, so we're open today 10 am to 5 pm.  Not only that, you can crop in the classroom for FREE today!  So come on down...meet the new owner...and spend some time looking around.  You won't be disappointed!  (And hey, the UPS man just came in with a whole lotta new stuff!)
