Beginning his amazing career Ronaldo's talents first became apparent when playing in the streets of his home town as a small boy. Ronaldo went on to achieve great success, which became most apparent in 2002 when he helped Brazil win the FIFA World Cup against Germany scoring two amazing goals, later that same year he was named the World Player of the Year for the third time. He then went onto join other major players such as DavidBeckham at Real Madrid for an estimated forty million euros.

Christmas time in Rome can be magical. There is plenty to see and do to help get you in a festive mood. The weather in Rome at this time of year can be very cold, but is often still nice and bright so remember to wrap up warm before heading out to Christmas events.

A great place to visit to get in the Christmas mood is the Natale Oggi event which means Christmas today. This event began back in 1959 and with each year it becomes bigger and better. This Christmas event is held from the 7th December to the 17th December and is home to an array of Christmas fare. You can sample and buy a variety of foods, buy wonderful toys for the children, they have plenty of crafts, jewellery and lots of Christmas decorations for you to buy. There is also good old Saint Nick for the children to visit and a number of musical acts throughout the event.

Another great event to see whilst here is the Arti and Mestieri Expo that is also being held from the 7th December to the 17th December.
