I never really understood this for years.

Until I worked with some.

Then I understood.

But, there are always a bad apple in the bunch as they say here in the USA.

I think I know why.

It comes down to what people want and what people need.

You see Internet Marketing products for social media, search engine marketing, mobile, apps, you name it. Some are quite good. Some are crap.

Successful marketers know what people Want. Really want. They want the red pill. So successful marketers give them the red pill. Even if it’s not really want people Need to be successful.

Successful, Good and Honest marketers know the difference between Want vs Need. They lead with want people want and then they weave in what people really Need to be successful.

Bad marketers lead with with people need. They think they are being the “nice guy or gal” but no one is buying what people need. Customers buy what they want.

Successful, Good and Honest marketers give people something that can and will make money and that the customer really want. But then they have other products or coaching that goes beyond that. Way beyond that.

Customers get upset with some marketers because the get what they want from the marketer and the product either disappoints them because it’s crap or even if a good product there is nothing beyond that to grow with.

I know many marketers that just provide the “Want Product” and never provide what people Need. Getting intial customers is easy to them and they don’t want to grow the people that are actually doing something to the next level. So customers get disappointed and feel let down. Some even become openly hostile to the marketer.

So, what’s the solution?

Go with what feels like the best solution for you. If someone doesn’t have any more to offer no big deal, they chose that. Grow and move to the next level with or without them.

I just finished reading Richard’s new book Screw Business as Usual. He summed up what I’ve been focusing on these last few years. Having a business, a viable business that at it’s core is doing good.

He has so many great stories, really case studies of how different people around the world are creating value that changes the world. I learned a lot from the book and will be implementing so of the ideas.

I’ve been a fan of Richard Branson for many years. In fact I have the site IWantToMeetRichardBranson.com. I’ve read all his books and I’ve learned so much about business and marketing from him.

I focus only on helping Heart Conscious Entrepreneurs and Richard Branson is my ideal client. I want to help people make a difference in this world for the better, just like Richard is.

Thank you Richard for being an inspiration and for being vocal on how to make this world a better place.

I highly recommend his book, it’s Awesome.

Nan is simply amazing. I meet her over 6 years ago. I helped her get online and I’ve been coaching her ever since. In the last few months I’ve become a part of her company and I focus on running the business so she can focus on helping people with their money mindset.

I’ve seen her in action and she simply is the best at what she does. I’ve seen and heard so many of her clients get huge breakthroughs and become successful.

I’ve never seen people in a live event have such amazing transformations in their mindset. It was almost unreal, I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it.

So many people focus on providing “how to’s” and leave the mindset aside. With the right mindset the “how to’s” are trivial.

I’m so impressed with her that she is my life partner and I totally enjoy every minute of our life.

And she is because she wants to help people become successful and getting rid of the B.S. and focus on what really works is needed. People are tired of the usual nonsense Internet Marketing technique that barely works. People want results. And they want it now.

I recently was at an exclusive affiliate only mastermind with Margaret. She put it on actually. I was so impressed with the quality people she had, all successful full-time money making affiliates of her. She pays it forward by doing this type of exclusive mastermind based on performance. She showed me that you can be heart conscious, she focuses on EFT, and play nicely with others in your niche. And her fiancées is a great guy too.

I hadn’t gone to a seminar in years before going to Brendon’s. I got tired of people selling what people want but not providing what people need. I was so just tired of the garbage out there. Then I heard Brendon. He was so passionate that I had to see him in person. I went to one of his seminars. He is amazing on stage. And his content rocks. He totally changed my mind about going to seminars. There are great seminars out there, you just have to be picky, very picky.

Thank you Brendon He showed me that showing your passion is the key to your success. And getting partnership help, business help is essential.

David is an amazing coach. He’s ours. I learned more in a single VIP day with him than years of listening to any other person. He’ll say “This works, that we haven’t seen work well.” He knows what is really needed by people to be successful and can see right through you if you are even unconsciously B.S.ing him. I love that.

I got a huge relevation from him, Want vs. Need. Lots of people sell what others want and that sells easier. Lot of people do not provide what people really need. That leads to clients that feel let down, even unconsciously.

Thank you for that David, it has totally changed my life.

My first real computer was an Apple IIe. I have always looked up to Steve. And his death deeply impacted me. I even did a special call about him back in October 2011. After many years with working with experts I could see many aspects of his hero journey thru life and I learned a lot on how to live a fantastic life because of Steve.

His focus in his life and in Apple have greatly helped me in my own businesses. And his unwillingness to put of with crap, I so love that. Apple makes the best electronic tools and Pixar the best animated movies. He simply wanted to be the best and wouldn’t put up with people that hinder that. I can relate.

Thank you Steve for focusing and being a stickler for A+ players.

I will miss you.

He is spooky accurate. He got me immediately over lunch. It was amazing.

He was able to tell my personality. Now that it self is not unusual, but he has a unique and easy system that has helped me a lot.

Other personality tests are complicated. I never could remember them. His is simple.

I’m a Emotional Intelligence Specialist. Here is what he says about this type from his website:

When he told me this I was surprised. Most be read me all wrong. “oh you use to program computers, you’re a nerd” I would get that a lot. Frankly I hated being around nerds. I am just smart and did that stuff. I retired from it and don’t miss it. I now hire them.

Ryhs had me stand in front of an audience and say that my type “Emotional Intelligent Specialists” are what we need more of in the world. All of us are moving more to this type and this type is needed to help the world.

This was good to hear because the typically opportunist Internet Marketer don’t get me. I get them and don’t want much to do with them. I only work with clients that have a passion to change the world for the better. Period.

When I meet my girlfriend after separating from her ex husband, well actually several months later I told her she had no spine when dealing with her ex-husband and her parents. I did it as nicely as I could. And I did it because I love her. She took the advice and stood up to them, and she has done amazingly ever since.

I support her and our business with help from a team of people. And I help her emotionally being the Charismatic Leader that she is. That’s another type from Rhys.

And my girlfriend and I have the second type of Team Player. Just enough to work together. But it isn’t our first type.

So for a virtual assistant we both need a person who’s primary type is Team Player and is detailed oriented. Neither one of us is detailed oriented so for us to have a great team we need help with that.

We don’t need someone like us. We have those types covered.

Now just because my primary type isn’t Charismatic Leader doesn’t mean that I’m not a frontman. I do this blog, have an email list, done telesummit and produced products, but for my audience. And it isn’t the primary thing I do. I do it because there is no much false information on how to be successful that I want to scream, so I stand up and tell it like it is.

Get more emotional, show the world who you are and make this planet better. There isn’t a PLANet B to fall back on.

I had a great mastermind weekend. My main business won an affiliate contest. Instead of winning an iPad or brownies (it’s happened! They were good) We won an entire weekend hanging out with other winners and just masterminding.

Nothing was sold. Just a bunch of A players who are doing big business.

It was amazing.

The JV partner was Margaret M. Lynch. She spoke on how to step up be the charismatic leader.

Since it was a mastermind I can’t write about what people discussed. Too bad, because it was awesome.

I was surprised by a few people and how big their businesses were. We’re talking big big names. One shocked me, couldn’t believe I was in the same room as her.

Everyone has challenges in their business. Large or small. Now with a large platform you can make little changes that produce big results quickly. Great opportunity.

But, that is also true of small businesses. One tweak and just like that you can produce a five figure month.

Being in a room of people that are all full-time and focused on their business, we’re nobody is selling the latest technique to newbies was great.

It was simply this works, do this. An overall strategy. Not single isolated techniques.

I use the term kicked the bucket because he used it. Well, Abraham used it. It’s not mean. Just a way to make fun of dying. Not take it so seriously.

I visited Jerry and Esther on their ranch a few years ago. Got a tour of the estate and monster bus. The bus was really nice rightly so since they traveled all over the country in it a lot.

The treehouse where Esther told me they wrote parts of their early books was tranquil.

I had a great visit and it was my first entre into law of attraction and thing “woo woo” as I would say.

I had a business associate recommend their book “Ask and it is Given” which I loved.

What I loved about it was that half the book was on processes. The first half was mindset and then they gave you processes that you could use to in grain that mindset.

Before that I always thought “woo woo” people just liked to talk a lot but never do anything about it. This book showed me you could do both.

And meeting them just reinforced that. I had a great time with them.

Then the movie “The Secret” came out and they grew like crazy. Next time I saw them it was a huge crowd in a hotel, their ranch wasn’t big enough.

I will always remember Jerry as being the level headed one and that is no disrespect for Esther at all. Jerry got to hear all the teaching of Abraham, record it, classify the audio, edit the audio and get to their assistant. He lived this stuff.

He told me a story about Esther complaining about something and he didn’t want to be part of that energy so he left the dining room table. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t add to the negative energy. He just left. I always thought that was noble. And it takes a lot of guts to just not want to get involved in some argument. I’ve done the same with people in my life and oh it works great. Thank you Jerry.

I will miss you Jerry. I related to you because I’m in a similar relationship that you had. And your advice has greatly helped me. I will miss you. Meet you on the other side, give me a tour when I get there.

They automatically think I’m against the Movement and that I’m heartless.

Since I focus on helping heart conscious leaders make money online, this is an insult to me, and one that doesn’t bother me at all.

I still totally think that the movement is an utter disaster.

With no leader (name one) that talks to the press and no clear demands that the group wants changed is a recipe for failure.

Just because people in the movement are getting arrested and in the papers and online news doesn’t mean it is working. If anything it is making things worse.

The name of the cause isn’t helpful either. The 99 Percent Movement is better. Occupy just sounds too much like what homeless people do.

I think there are a bunch of concerned citizens and some even have a good point. But it isn’t been made due to lack of a leader or even a spokesperson. Negotiations with the mayor of New York City broke down because the people representing Occupy Wall Street didn’t have the authority to do anything. People within the movement don’t trust each other.

Now the Movement got a little violent and the police are treating them harshly. What happened at UC Berkeley is just plain wrong.

But the public opinion isn’t on the side of the Movement because they have failed at saying what they are about. A leader, a true leader could turn that around.

A leader that would tell the people within the Movement to not do anything at all that would even slightly look illegal could turn things around. But, time is running out.

So, am I an heartless ant-Occupy asshole?

No. I only work with heart conscious leaders period. I am against the current Occupy Movement because there is no leader and no clear message. I’m against it also because it is making things worse, not better. And because the Movement is not heart conscious at all.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a big bank isn’t secretly helping the Movement because long term the Movement acting this way is just going to make a real cause not viable.

If I was the national recognized leader that could help the Movement I would. If I had a client in this niche that could I would beg them to stand up and I would help them for free to fix it. But, I don’t.

If one shows up that can focus on a very clear message I may change my mind about the Movement

I wrote these blogs posts because I wanted to help people see why it isn’t working.

If you don’t like debate or opinions then don’t read my blog and definitely don’t be on my email list.

I’m deep into helping heart conscious leaders be successful, but I don’t just hug trees and pretend that will actually solve issues. Reality and good solid marketing are needed to be successful and get real results. The Occupy Movement is failing at that.

There is no leader. In fact they can’t even decide on a leader and they give no authority to anyone to be a leader.

Without a leader you can’t have a cause.

Without a leader no one can stand up and call an end to the violence at the occupy camps.

They come off as a bunch of losers that want to steal from the rich and it will just fix everything.

Some advocate for a special millionaire tax. That is socialism, plan and simple. And it won’t help. The very rich aren’t really personally rich, almost everything is in businesses and foundations. Entities that help this country.

Without the rich this country would be worst off. The problem is the social welfare government system. Asking the government to save us from the super rich is crazy. The government special tax credits for super big companies is the problem, not the companies. Companies wouldn’t get away with these crazy tax rebates if it wasn’t because of the government.

The bank and investment scandals wouldn’t have happened if big companies know they couldn’t get away with it, and get tax payers (government) money to bail them out.

Let them go bankrupt. Bad businesses should go out of business and be replaced with good ones that create value.

Yes there are some that don’t help the country but I believe most help this country greatly. I’ve know many very rich people and they help by creating value. Doing any business with governments doesn’t create value.

If you can sit in a park with a sign and protest you are not creating value. Quite honesty you’re the problem.

I envied him and he was a mentor that I never got to meet.

He affected how I  experienced life thru his passion and his iPod and other devices.

He was simply amazing.

And he’s been in my thoughts this last week a lot.

I visited the local Apple store hoping to see if they had a tribute to him there, sadly there wasn’t one.

He was a very primate man so he’s funeral service is private.

And I need closure. I need to speak up about why I think Steve Jobs was one of the most influential people in history and celebrate his life.

And I want to explore how you and me can be just a little like Steve. How we can live a life with passion and really change the world in our own way, by learning how Steve did it.

I remember my first Apple computer. I had a couple of computers before I finally got a real computer my Apple IIe. I had an Odessey and an Atari 400, but when I got my Apple IIe, now that was a real computer.

I got it in the late 70′s and used it for years. In fact used it thru college up to 1991 before finally upgrading to a Mac IIvx.

The Apple IIe was a workhorse. It did everything I needed for school. It really helped me because computers were so rare that the computer lab at my college was always totally booked. And I could just go home and do what I needed.

Thank you Steve for producing such excellent products. You are a true visionary. Your iPod totally changed music for me. I was finally able to take a lot of music with me. I’m never more than a few feet away from my iPod at all times, ask my girlfriend she will attest to it.

You have a vision like no other and will be missed. You have left behind a legacy and very big shoes to fit.

I believe a kid is like a project. You have a system to get the result you want, raising a person that can live in the real world and be happy and successful.

You’re a role model on what that is. You can influence your child.

What you can’t do is control their every waking moment. That doesn’t work.

I see parents that are so strict it’s amazing that it is even legal to do what they are doing to their child.

And I see those kids become 18 (or earlier) and leave, screwed up and unable to handle the real world while hating their parents.

You need to let your kids be themselves. Yes you can influence them but much of that is by what you do, not by have tons of strict rules telling them everything they can’t do.

People don’t like being told what not to do. I sure don’t. In fact, doing that tends to make people do what you don’t want them to do.

And in business you also need to let people fail. Yes have a system in place that reduces that but it comes down to people. People are what makes things happen. Give them a system that is doable and it’s amazing what people can accomplish.

People also think it’s their website, their looks, if they are gay or straight, etc. that is determining their success.

You can be very overweight or a lesbian and be successful. I know one and she’s doing extremely well and is an inspiration to watch. What you look like doesn’t matter.

Life attracts life. You attract people like you. There is always an audience. If you are not making money off your audience it’s because you’re not marketable. You don’t have anything that your audience wants.

It’s not you.

It’s not what you are thinking. It’s how you are thinking. How you think determines your experience.

Focus on being yourself.

Focus on your personal growth and your income, your vision, your marketability with increase as your personal growth increases.

Because if you think you have to get then you are not thinking what you have. The idea of getting is against the nature law of life. Grass doesn’t struggle to grow, nor should you.

The real reason you’re not successful is because you don’t want it bad enough.

I see it all the time, people make some effort and then quit. They don’t like the results they are getting so they quit. They really don’t want it bad enough. If you did you wouldn’t quit. You would change tactics but you wouldn’t quit. You would get help, but you would never ever quit.

Remember, you’re supposed to work for expression, because it is who you are, not for money. Never for money.

Put yourself first, then marketing. Never reverse that and you’ll see success as long as you don’t quit. Never ever quit.

It doesn’t.

Money provides opportunity and is a great tool. I love it.

But if you don’t have happiness when you’re broke you won’t have it when you’re rich.

I’ve seen it for myself. Having money didn’t make me happier. I was already happy, a bit frustrated when my income sucked, but happy.

I’ve meet many rich people that have “everything” except for happiness.

Just because you make or even inherit money doesn’t mean it comes with happiness.

The documentary “One Percent” by Jamie Johnson of the Johnson & Johnson company family. Is rich. He doesn’t have to work. His Dad has never worked. They are “taken care of”.

Is Jamie Johnson happy? In the movie he sure doesn’t look like it. He feels guilt of having access to so much money.

The point is not the money.

The point is what you can do to fulfill your wants and needs with money.

How would you live?

How would you change other lives thru charity?

How are you going to make a difference in the world to yourself, your family and the entire planet.

If you understand that then money becomes a tool that allows you to live to your fullest potential.

Understand that and everything clicks. Everything makes sense.

And your heart sings with joy that you have life figured out.
