Congratulations! Project 691 Robotics, a student-led mentor-guided competitive robotics team in the William S. Hart District which consists of high school students from AOC and all over the district, has been accepted to go to the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri from April 22 to 25. The students have spent the last three months working tirelessly to design, build, and improve their 2015 robot, “Operation: NIGHTHAWK,” and their efforts are finally about to take flight.

To financially support as many team members as possible to take part in this culmination of their hard work, the team has started a GoFundMe campaign at www.gofundme.com/691champstrip . If you or anyone you know could donate to the campaign, the students at Project 691 would greatly appreciate any and all contributions you could make towards this effort. For more information, please contact the team at business@team691.org, and for regular team updates please follow their faceBook page at http://www.facebook.com/team691 .
