To Be Successful, Renew Your Mind With The Word

I don’t know about you, but from time to time, I check myself. I look at the different areas in my life to determine if I’m on track with my goals and God’s goals. Shouldn’t they both line up?

Well sometimes I get off track. After all, I’m human. But that’s why I check myself so that I can get back on track. So I was thinking… In some areas of my life, I’m doing pretty good. But in other areas, there is too much Tayarisha involved and not enough God. And yet in other areas, I’m not sure if I’m doing God’s will or my will. So in prayer I confessed the weakness of not always knowing if I’m doing God’s will or Tayarisha’s will. I asked God, “How will I know when I’m out of alignment with Your will Father God?”. I prayed that He shows me quickly when I’m out of alignment. And as I opened my Bible to read the scripture that was next in line to be read from Morris Cerullo’s “Financial Breakthrough Spiritual Warfare Bible” (I try to read it every day), I was led to Romans 12:1-2 (you can’t tell me God is not ordering our steps). This is a very timely and good Word. Enjoy:

Romans 12

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Integrity, Humility, Servitude and Fear Of The Lord Lead To Riches

I really don’t understand why people choose to display arrogance or why someone feels the need to lie.
But once that happens, they lose all credibility with their peers.

So I’d like to encourage us all to strive to stay humble and to serve one another with integrity. Now, no one is perfect. But God knows the intentions of our hearts. We all have bad days and make poor choices. But at our core we should be walking in love, integrity, humility. We should be striving to make someone else smile. And I can sure tell you that when you bless others with genuiness and no hidden agendas, it comes back so strong (sometimes when you least expect it).

Proverbs 22:

1 Choose a good reputation over great riches;
being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

2 The rich and poor have this in common:
The Lord made them both.

3 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

4 True humility and fear of the Lord
lead to riches, honor, and long life.

5 Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road;
whoever values life will avoid it.

6 Direct your children onto the right path,
and when they are older, they will not leave it.

7 Just as the rich rule the poor,
so the borrower is servant to the lender.

8 Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster,

Do Not Kill Your Dreams Or Block Your Blessings By Speaking UnGodly Things

It is extremely important that you know the power of your tongue. Your words and thoughts can bless you or curse you. It is amazing how many Christians walk around with such negative attitudes. It is evident life has taken a toll on their souls and if they are not careful their inner spirit.

Something miraculous happens when we speak. Our words manifest to the cells and smallest “particles” that we are made of. Imagine the difference we can make in the outcome of our battles and ultimately our lives if we not only hear God’s Word, but believe it, decree it with faith and bold confidence, and then we put ACTION to it. If we do this, then even when the storms come (and we know they will come) we will walk through the storms with a peace that surpasses understanding. We will take a God form that will make everyone say, what is this that he/she is able to rise to victory even during the storms.

To be successful during these times we must take control over ourselves, our thoughts, our actions. We must use every weapon God has given us. So you need to know that your tongue is EXTREMELY powerful. It controls your destiny. You can use it to either bless yourself or curse yourself. The bible talks about it in Proverbs 18:21, James 1:26 and James 3:2-10

Proverbs 18:21
21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.

James 1:26
26If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

James 3:2-10
2We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.

3When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. 6The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

7All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man, 8but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

9With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.
