Very nice looking, fits well in the ear if you also purchase the plantronics earpieces. I couldn't keep it in my ear with the ones it came with. (I have a very small head/ear). What I makes this review a 5 star review is how sturdy the product is. I have dropped this item outside of my car and ran the thing over. It looks fine and still works. I did have to superglue the ear piece back on but there are minimal scratches and it works just as good as the day I bought it. I have also owned a plantronics voyager and I can't say the voyager was as sturdy but as for talk they are about the same, even in noise canceling. The plantronics was easier to use and much more comfortable but broke when it got stepped on and was much better on battery life. I am pretty rough on my small electronics.

I would not recommend this headset. The battery life is very short. The headset amplifies sounds a lot, so if the person you are talking to makes a loud noise, like clangs a pot or coughs, it is horribly loud. Or if the person you are talking to is watching tv, it's very loud. I have to keep my phones volume on the lowest setting, and even then sometimes a noise will hurt my ears. The headset randomly disconnects from my phone. I bought this headset because I found good reviews on quite a few websites but I do not think it is worth the money at all. I really wish I would have bought a different one.

At first this Jawbone sounded great, clear with ample volume. The color and design are lovely. After a while though, I couldn't hear well and it wouldn't synch intermitantly. I suppose I should have stuck with Plantronics for Bluetooth support. Amazon is always great!

I read some reviews about this product that were not so great, but as usual I like to find out for myself. Purchased them because they are thin and lightweight, I barely know they are on my ears and are stylish which is a plus, lol. These work great with my iphone 3g and the sound is perfect. I absolutely love them. I noticed that some people said they don't fit comfortably, but they obviously didn't read instructions because it tells you how to adjust them, the loop that goes over the ear is bendable to almost any shape you want. Only thing that I'm not able to do is ff/rw or next, but that is a limitation of my iphone's bluetooth profile, hopefully Apple will update it. All the other bluetooth headphones I tried were not able to do so either. I can change volume, play/pause and stop which is all I need.

Overall, after trying 3 other brands and styles, these have the best sound hands down and ease of use, also a low price to boot.

I've had these headphones now for about 2 months. I should say that I have enjoyed them just about every day that I've had them, until they broke yesterday. With the IPod bluetooth adapter connected to my IPod classic all of the play/pause and rewind/fast-forward buttons and dials work as designed, but when paired to my Iphone 3GS none of the controls work. Of course this is a IPhone incompatibility issue, not to be blamed on the headset, and can be fixed with an App.

Pros:

1. The overall sound quality is good, even though the bass is a bit crackly.
2. Battery life is good, at least 3-4 hours.
3. Their range is great, I can walk all around within a 30-40 ft range and through walls with no problem.
4. The microphone works great. I was a little skeptical to how well the little microphone next to your ear could work, I figured I would have to yell or there would be an echo or something, but the people I talk to have no problems hearing me.

Contrary to negative press reviews, the S7-HD is a great set of stereo headphones. The sound quality is excellent especially for bluetooth headphones, the fit is a bit weird, but it completely adjustable and although it takes a little time to get it right, once you get it right it fits like a glove. I wear glasses and I use the S7-HDs with no problem. Since it supports two different BT profiles (stereo, and headset mode), you can use it to listen to music say on your computer, and still have your phone in headset mode seamlessly. The jog dial controls work great and are very intuitive.

A few gripes, I wish the cord that keeps both pieces together was maybe a little longer, so I can hang it off my neck. The 12 inch cord is too short IMO to comfortably hang it from my neck and listen to one ear while keeping the other ear open for one reason or another.

I was not very happy that the product I received did not come with all the fittings for around the ear and all the earbud fittings either. It just came with one of each, and therefore does not fit all that well on me. The price was good, but it looks to be like the item was used before, not brand new. The product also has issues with the main button sticking. Other than that it works okay.

This is the best bluetooth headset I've owned; however, I'm not sure that's saying much.

Good:
The clear benefit of this is particular headset is that the person on the other end of the call can hear you even if you have significant background noise. I've done a bit of experimenting calling myself on another phone and it really transmits almost nothing so if you use your phone in loud places this is a real step up from the built in mic (on my phone at least) and other headsets. The downside is that you sound a bit strange on the other end (as if you are in a giant room talking to someone 10 ft away).

Work knowing:
The speaker is decent. I've found the max volume isn't all that high (again loud environments) but is adequate.

The headset is comfortable for about an hour. After that it starts to hurt my ear. This isn't a deal breaker for me but if you plan on wearing it all day the pressure fit ear plug part might not be a great design for... Read more

This is the third Jawbone. Love the excellent noise cancellation, it just cannot be beat (at least none that I know of).

One major FLAW ... the rubber piece over the hearing part keeps falling off. All you need to do is rub it, and it rotates then falls off. I've lost many ear covers. Wish they would just redesign that part of an otherwise excellent product.

I haven't written a review in a long time due to lack of time/energy, but I felt I had to this time just so you don't waste your time. Ordinarily I'm against docking a product's rating when it's clearly the merchant's fault. But since this is listed as a specially branded Amazon product in its title with respect to their specialized packaging, I feel this is fair.

This product arrived with teeth marks over nearly every surface of it -- as if a toddler or dog had a grand old time gnawing on it before Amazon packaged it in its "frustration free packaging". Okay, I'll admit there was zero frustration in opening the well-conceptualized and aptly named gimmick. But that frustration was realized in the wasted time of ordering a product that was clearly used and abused, and marketed as new. Even the earpiece had crud all over it. Like the previous reviewer, I received a Jawbone that had scratches all over the outside. My item was also missing all additional ear loops and earbuds, making it impossible to get a good fit. The device kept falling out of my ear. When I contacted Amazon they said they would refund, replace, or give me 20% of my money back, which leads me to believe they new this item was not actually new even though they were selling it as such. I asked them to replace the item, but I was then informed the item was out of stock. That particular SKU was out of stock, but a quick search of the site for "Jawbone 2" showed otherwise. It would be like looking at a shelf in a store that's empty and saying there is not stock, while there are plenty on the shelf below. I have since emailed Amazon 3 more times and not heard back. I am not only considering never doing business with Amazon again, but also closing my company's corporate account for which I am in charge.

Lots of reviews both good and bad (mostly good). I've had the Motorola bluetooth speakers before and traditionally they've been very reliable. This one is no exception.

PROS: Easy to setup / pair with my phone. Volume is GREAT! I can play music using this as the speaker, or press the "FM" buttom and it will transmit to my car stereo. BATTERY LIFE IS UNREAL! We must've gone at least 2-3 weeks before the battery was low. And everytime you get in the car, it automatically powers-on and gives you a voice prompt on the battery level.

CONS: Really haven't identified any problems with this.

Would certainly recommend this! Peace!

I bought this for the hands free features and the ability to play my mp3's through my stereo. Product syncs to your phone quickly and easily every time you get within about 30 feet of the device. Voice recognition features in conjunction with my Samsung Galaxy work very well with no issues, once you have the voice promptly down you can just speak what you want to do and so far It's worked great. I will say however that from time to time you may lose the wireless connection to the car stereo but it's easily re-established. I would say that for the money this is a great option for hands free communication adn if you're car has no mp3 jack great for playing your music too. It's not perfect but I would recommend this product without question.

I purchased my Motorola Roadster primarily to be more hands free when driving and to eliminate some distractions.I have a Motorola Droid X2 phone so I figured this would be a good pairing.;) While the FM transmitter is a nice feature and plays through your car stereo well, as long as you can find a free and clear channel, its probably about all I will be able to use this device for. The Roadster is certainly not hands free as the thing will NOT answer calls with voice commands as advertised. It announces who is calling just like the product details claim and is easy to set up. I have like many others looking for the perfect headset for many years. This was actually the first one I can say that I have been happy with the audio quality coming in. The person on the other side said they can hear me very good considering it I was on a headset. Having lost/ smashed several expensive bluetooth headsets, I decided to go cheap. There wasn't anything cheaper on Amazon at the time of my buying, and I love Nokias, though I've only use their phones.

1. Very small and light
2. Other person has no trouble hearing me
3. Feels well built, as are most things Nokia makes; won't break easily
4. Ear hook, though removable (to switch from right-ear to left-ear mode and vice versa), is very tough plastic
5. Just a tiny blue understated light at the base of the headset
6. Battery lasts a long time, another characteristic of Nokias
7. Same power adapter as all recent nokia phones. That alone makes it worth the price for me since I have several nokias.

Cons:
1. Slight crackling when I put my phone in my jeans pocket, or have it more than 5-6 feet away. Very clear if the phone is in my shirt pocket, or on my table within 5 ft, but that's about as good as a wired headset. I was... Read more

I have been tracking release of this bone conduction Bluetooth headset ever since Motorola purchased the rights to the device from Next Link a year and a half ago. I have tried many other products on the market and this is my personal favorite, beating out
Jawbone Prime by a hair. I find the in-ear fit of the Motorola to be deeper in the ear canal and more secure than Jawbone and therefore more to my liking. Jawbone noise reduction is probably better than Chrystal Talk, but I could not get enough of a secure fit with the Jawbone. I tried using a Jabra gel on the Jawbone and this provided the best fit of the Jawbone to my ear, but it was still somewhat makeshift; this arrangement without an ear loop meant that the Jawbone was not always in contact with my cheek, which defeats the noise reduction function. This is the best noise canceling headset to date.
Before this one, there were only a handful of manufacturers that effectively had noise canceling technology.
The majority used two mics, and the jawbone used a mic and a touch sensor mic.

Before this unit, the jawbone was the headset to buy. It was flawless as long as it touched your cheek.

But now, this unit is far above the rest. The dual mic normal mode works for just about every environment to a point. I had a a stereo blaring and the noise cancelling reduced it to tiny background noise. You could still hear it, but your voice was way out in the forefront of the signal. Typical office, and street environments are also pretty good.

I have not yet tried to use the Stealth mode, but otherwise this product seems to work well. My wife said I sounded clearer on these than on my previous cheap Motorola bluetooth headset, which I thought worked fantastic. It does take some testing to see which of the four earpads work best and I decided so far I like the left ear spring pad best for me. It's also a little hard to get the ear ring over the ear once you have the headset in your ear. Yes, there is a little irritation/soreness in the ear canal at first, but I chalk that up to the fact that I have hardly ever worn in-ear headsets before and my ear is just sensitive at first. Otherwise, it is comfortable and feels sturdy and like it is not going anywhere. I'll be interested to see how the stealth function works. By the way, be careful who you buy this from. Amazon is evidently selling this through third party vendors and all are not equal. The OEM Shop is HORRIBLE! I ordered from them expecting to get the product brand new... Read more

As economic headsets go, this one is defiantely a leader of the pack. Yes, there are nicer sounding and more comfortable ones out there, but not for anywhere near what these cost.

I use these for listening to music and watching TV shows on my computer. My kids use the heck out of them talking to their cousins via Skype.

The sound quality is good, better than I thought it would be actually. While they are not as good as some of the high end 'monitor' type headphones, these are likely better than what you are using now. The phone functions of the headset works easily and installation is almost thoughtless.

I have a big head (7 3/4 hat size), and these are comfortable on me. Not sure Id want to wear them all day, but I had no problem watching 2 hour movie with them on.

Overall, I can easily recomend these to anyone in the market for this type of product.

I used this head set with Skype, 3CX and a lesser-known SIP Soft Phone. I heard all callers perfectly, and no one complained on the other end.

I have a feeling those complaining about comfort, probably wouldn't like any head set. It's certainly less bulky than the Logitech head set I owned.

Plantronics is also normally more of a corporate-grade product, so you get a couple of small bells and whistles, like hardware volume and call control, which I (and most people) would never use, but worked fine.

Pairing the Headset for the First Time

Ensure that your phone is switched on and the headset is switched off.
Switching on the headset enters it into pairing mode, and the blue indicator light starts to flash quickly.
Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone (or other Bluetooth-enabled device), and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices.
Select the headset from the list of found devices.
Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some devices you may need to make the connection separately after pairing.
If the pairing is successful, the headset appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. When the headset is connected to your device and is ready for use, the blue indicator light flashes slowly.

Feature rich - two buttons and a single light with 3 colors for status
Easy to break - it has some plastic, but case is aluminum and feels solid
Easy to wear for extended periods - but I have sensitive ears

I like this headest for its simplicity and style. It is not thick like other headsets and doesn't require an ear clip if it fits in your ear canal ok. It does include two extra covers to help fit your ear. If you still require security, an ear clip can be added via a loop wire and plastic adapter but it is not a very stylish addition.

It only takes 1 hour to charge using either a desktop brick, ala iPod, or a simple plug adapter. It recharges from the front in what I can only imagine is a combination speaker and charger recepticle... Read more

Fitting: It's a very light and slim, and most weight is distributed on top half the headset. So it can fit very securely in my ear without using the earhook. The earhook is made of aluminum as well, so it is ridged and thin. And it goes very well with my glasses. I prefer not using the hook.

Functions: Simple design, no extra function. Only dial last number works. It has no disconnecting function and does not support multi connect, so you have to disconnect it manually from your phone in order to connect to 2nd device. Powering on and off are very quick. Charging is quick. Very stable bluetooth connection with both my phone and computer.

Audio: Adequate audio quality. You'd probably not to use it in a noise enviroment. Voice is clean and neutral, but you can hear noise very clearly as well.

Other thought: USB charging cable is sold separately. No clip.

After trying quite a few that just didn't make the cut, I opted to try this one. It's very light and easy to use and the clarity on it is great. People hear me clearly on the other end also. I just can't get a good fit into my ear. The speaker portion is too big and even with the other ear rubber covers, it doesn't shrink the size of the speaker piece. I could not use this without the loop and even with that, a quick turn of the head loosens the grip. I find myself constantly adjusting or tightening the loop around my ear again to keep it in place. I like it, but am not happy with it's inflexibility in fit.

I have only used for a couple of days. My application is with a Samsung A640 phone.

In the car, I simply had to turn the volume up two steps to overcome the ambient noise. The audio quality seemed equivalent to my phone. With the headset in my right ear, I tried positioning the phone in my left pants pocket, my shirt pocket, and the center console. There was no perceived degradation in the quality of the signal.

At home, I pushed the distance limits a bit more. While charging my phone, I walked to different parts of the house. Sound quality was acceptable until I was about 20 feet away with a wall in-between. I never lost the signal, but it crackled a bit.

My previous headset was a wired Jabra with the ear gels. While Jabra does not advertise such, I found that the ear gel fits reasonably well onto the BT2010 earpiece. I liked using the ear gel better than the over-the-ear clip. Your head may vary. I wore the headset this way for over 6... Read more

I bought this headset because it has the option to use the over the ear hook or remove it. It is very confortable and stays in place well. The only downfall is that it does not have a low battery warning, this means that the only way to tell that your battery is dieing is by the person on the other line not being able to hear you.

the sound is bad everyone tells me they cant hear me. this thing is huge i regret buying this!! so now its thrown in a drawer and is not used. i am now searching for a replacement.
