I love the food there, and know that I will be indulging.....but I also know that I will be walking a lot. That along with the fact there is little &quot;junk&quot; food, I anticipate some weight loss. The last time I was there 3 years ago with my amazing daughter, I manged to lose weight on a steady diet of gelato (morning, noon and night).&lt;br /&gt;I was quite pre occupied this week, and forgot to weigh in. First I was disappointed, then I realized if I did that every week....it would be 52 lbs lighter in 6 months!!  I also remembered I didn&#39;t follow through on physical activity EVERY DAY, not just 4 days!!&lt;br /&gt;Excited what the next week will bring. She has a 20 month old son and  twin girls that are 3 1/2 months old.&lt;br /&gt;It was a great time of putting little one&#39;s needs ahead of my own. I forgot how busy life is when you are the mom of little kids. It all seems like a lifetime ago that I was that busy mom of a 16 1/2 month old, and a newborn. Yet it also seemed like just yesterday.&lt;br /&gt;I have a picture of myself and the kids when B was just 3 months old. I was the thinner then than I have been in all the years since....that would be 27 years!!&lt;br /&gt;I was so busy with babies this weekend, that at times I forgot to eat!! I walked the floors umpteen times consoling a crying child. Changed many diapers that involved many trips to the other side of the house.  Should have worn my pedometer. AHA........that&#39;s it!! The baby weight loss plan!!&lt;br /&gt;Just a goofy observation.&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow is weigh in !! I left the office with a print out of my vitals ie:WT;HT;BP;BMI (body mass index). It is better than last year at this time......but not nearly what it will be six months from now when I go back.&lt;br /&gt;     I was thinking that the timing of this is perfect, as I will be able to chart my progress in a very tangible and scientific way. I was also pleased that I didn&#39;t beat myself up about what might have been had I stuck to my food program and excercise schedule for these past months. I am looking forward and not behind.&lt;br /&gt;     It was a good day with good food choices over all. Jen commented to me tonight about something she read in a book today. The author stated that you can eat too much of good food, and that&#39;s not the best for your body either. I realized, that I had done that today...eaten too much of good food twice today. I am grateful to have learned that truth.&lt;br /&gt;     So......onward and upward. Somehow, this is different this time. I am allowing myself to be held accountable to some one so close to my heart...my precious daughter Jennifer.&lt;br /&gt;I have struggled with my over eating since she was very young. She&#39;s rarely known me to be fit and trim. She has never judged me, and always encourages me. I have a great desire to be healthy and fit. I tend to start well, and then rest on my laurels so to speak. (key word being REST)&lt;br /&gt;So..I start this part of my journey using a new tool for a new fix to an old issue.&lt;br /&gt;I know I need to own the numbers. I was rather surprised to see that my weight was back up over 220.....223 to be exact!! Yikes......how did it get there again??? Simple physics: calories in  minus calories expended. (or not!!!)&lt;br /&gt;I recommit to a physical activity each day, and logging the food and water intake daily. I have made copies of the &quot;core food plan&quot; from WW and started checking off the boxes.
